Brooklyn Nets @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
Starting with the Nets, they aren’t a very fantasy friendly team, as the majority of their usage goes through Kevin Durant and James Harden, and as long as Kyrie continues to be out that won’t change much. Those two are both premier plays here tonight, and if you’re looking for value then DeAndre’ Bembry has been starting and playing solid minutes as well, but the production has been spotty. Lastly, LaMarcus Aldridge is the only other consistent performer on this team but it is slim pickings here for sure.
Now for the Mavericks, Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis both practiced yesterday so I’d assume that both are good to go here tonight. My obvious preference will be on Doncic as he is the best player they have and KP is overpriced on both sites. Jalen Brunson is coming off a disappointing game, but you can go right back to him on a 3 gamer here tonight. If Willie Cauley-Stein misses again and KP miss, then we can possibly see some Boban Marjanovic action here as well, but he needs both those guys to be out to be viable. Lastly, Maxi Kleber is gonna see big minutes off the bench and he’s a decent value on both sites as well.
5-star play: James Harden, Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic
4-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Maxi Kleber, Jalen Brunson
Deeper Value: Maxi Kleber, LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre’ Bembry
GPP Sleeper: DeAndre’ Bembry
New York Knicks @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: Nyk -2.5
Starting with the Knicks here, they’ve made some big changes with Kemba Walker moving to the bench, and Alec Burks has taken over the starting PG role and has been thriving. He’s in a good spot here tonight as the Spurs are bleeding FPs to opposing guards. Julius Randle is having another All-Star quality season as well, and he doesn’t break the bank on either site, as the Spurs are mediocre against bigs. Immanuel Quickley is also playing huge minutes now as well, and his price hasn’t caught up on either site. If you’re looking for a GPP option that’s a bit deeper, Evan Fournier and RJ Barrett should both play solid minutes, but Fournier hasn’t been closing games out. Lastly, Mitchell Robinson has been starting at the 5 and makes for a deeper MME type play as well.
Now for the Spurs, their offense stops and starts with Dejounte Murray as he has been their main source of offense, he has a tougher matchup here going up against Alec Burks but he has been matchup proof so far this year. However, the Knicks have been much better against PGs since benching Kemba Walker. Jakob Poeltl is also in a tougher spot here as well going up against Mitch Rob and Randle, but his price reflects the matchup. Keldon Johnson‘s price is very tempting as well but he can be very scoring dependent so he’s gonna be GPP only basically every night moving forward. Devin Vassell has been solid coming off the bench and is a deeper value play, but he has an injury as well so that is something to keep an eye on, and I always like Derrick White at his price, but he has been overshadowed by Murray a lot this year. If Vassell were to miss again then it would make Lonnie Walker an interesting GPP value play as well especially on a small slate like this.
5-star play: Dejounte Murray
4-star play: Julius Randle, Alec Burks, Jakob Poeltl, Keldon Johnson
Deeper Value: Immanuel Quickley, Derrick White, Lonnie Walker, Mitchell Robinson
GPP Sleeper: Immanuel Quickley

Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Lakers
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
Starting with the Celtics, the big news will be whether or not Jaylen Brown suits up for this game, as it will dictate how much Jayson Tatum that I want. He loves playing in LA especially with how close Tatum was to Kobe as he was his mentor when he got into the NBA. Either way Tatum is a premier play. If Brown were to miss, that would open up even more usage for Dennis Schroder as well, and he has the revenge factor in this game after turning down that huge contract to come to Boston. Al Horford will also draw a tough matchup here but him and Robert Williams are both in play as neither break the bank and will be needed to help guard AD.
Now for the Lakers, the obvious plays here are going to be LeBron James and Anthony Davis, as both draw a ton of usage but I’d honestly prefer to play Tatum on the other side as he’s been hot. For other plays, Russell Westbrook doesn’t have the same ceiling he used to as long as both those guys are healthy, so I’d even be OK fading him tonight. Talen Horton-Tucker and Malik Monk are their main scorers off the bench here as well, with my preference on Monk as he’s been hotter as of late. Lastly, you can get some Dwight Howard if we get word that he is starting again as well.
5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Anthony Davis
4-star play: LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Jaylen Brown (if in), Dennis Schroder, Al Horford
Deeper Value: Talen Horton-Tucker, Malik Monk, Robert Williams, Dwight Howard
GPP Sleeper: Malik Monk
