My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. Starting with the Sixers, they’re starting to get healthy again here after COVID ran through their team, it looks like they’ll only be missing Milton and possibly Drummond but he cleared protocols. Seth Curry is a solid play here with Shake Milton out as is Tyrese Maxey. Joel Embiid will be able to get whatever he wants here against this decimated BKN frontcourt, he should smash in this one. Tobias Harris is also a great play here for cheaper as a discount from Embiid but he doesn’t have the same upside. If you’re looking to go really deep here, then Danny Green is in play with Milton out, but if he were to miss again tonight then it would open up some minutes for Matisse Thybulle who would be a decent value.
Now for the Nets, they’ll only be missing Kyrie Irving here and Kevin Durant is back in this one so he should be a full go, but I would give him a game here as we’ve seen guys coming back from COVID struggle in their first game back. James Harden’s ceiling takes a big hit with KD back as well and this Nets team can be frustrating outside of those two. If you’re looking for decent value, Nicolas Claxton has been playing solid minutes here and he should be in line for solid minutes in this one, but outside of those guys I won’t really be touching anyone on this Nets team.
5-star play: Joel Embiid, James Harden
4-star play: Kevin Durant, Tobias Harris, Seth Curry
Deeper Value: Tyrese Maxey, Matisse Thybulle, Danny Green
GPP Sleeper: Seth Curry, Nicolas Claxton
Milwaukee Bucks @ Orlando Magic
Vegas Total: 217.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -14
Starting with the Bucks, they are pretty much back at full strength as well as they have no one on their injury report. Giannis Antetokounmpo is a great play here but he is pricey and the blowout risk is real here. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are both decent plays here but their upside is capped with Giannis healthy. Bobby Portis should also be in line for big minutes here as Lopez has been out forever so I doubt he sees full run. If you’re looking to get really deep, Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton, and Jordan Nwora could all see some decent time in the event of a blowout.
Now for the Magic, they are hurting big time with all the injuries they have, but Franz Wagner has really stepped up and is a great play at his price on both sites tonight. Wendell Carter is back here as well and he makes for a decent play as well especially if Bamba is still out. If Carter and Bamba are out again tonight as well then we can go right back to Robin Lopez as well as he is a FPPM monster when given time. Gary Harris will also be forced into big minutes and Hassani Gravett also has been starting but he is in protocols now. RJ Hampton should be in line for big minutes here and will likely start as long as Cole Anthony is out as well. Overall this Magic team is just ugly right now and this game should be a blowout.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Franz Wagner, Gary Harris
Deeper Value: Gary Harris, RJ Hampton, Grayson Allen, Pat Connaughton
GPP Sleeper: Robin Lopez, RJ Hampton

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total: 210
Vegas Spread: Wsh -3.5
Starting with the Cavs, they are just decimated in their backcourt right now as Rubio went down with a torn ACL last game. Cedi Osman has cleared health protocols and they just signed Malik Newman as well, one of them will likely have to run the point here and Denzel Valentine should be in line for big minutes as well. Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley should both be available as well here and would make great plays here as long as they are full go’s. Lauri Markkanen should also see big minutes here as well even with Osman back, but right now its hard to decipher this Cavs team as they just have so many injuries/COVID issues.
Now for the Wizards, Bradley Beal is out again here so that makes Spencer Dinwiddie a premier play again tonight especially as this CLE backcourt is decimated now with Rubio out as well. KCP is also in protocols now, so Corey Kispert should draw the start and play heavy minutes but he is not a high usage guy in this offense. Kyle Kuzma has also been solid and should see some big minutes here as well. Montrezl Harrell is also out here so that makes Daniel Gafford a nice option here as well especially if Allen is still out.
5-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen
4-star play: Evan Mobley, Lauri Markkanen, Cedi Osman, Kyle Kuzma, Daniel Gafford
Deeper Value: Corey Kispert, Denzel Valentine, Cedi Osman
GPP Sleeper: Cedi Osman, Malik Newman
Golden State Warriors @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: Gs -5
For the Warriors, Stephen Curry is coming off a disappointing game this last time out and this Nuggets team has been bleeding FPs to opposing PGs. However, Jordan Poole has cleared health protocols so he is in play here but I won’t have a ton of him in his first game back. Draymond Green also has a great matchup here as he’ll be on the floor a ton here with the Warriors playing small and he’ll be able to take advantage of that matchup against Jokic and Green. Andrew Wiggins and his streaky self are in play here as well as he puts Otto Porter back on the bench which kills his upside. Kevon Looney also had a solid game last time here as they’ll need his big body on Jokic.
Now for the Nuggets, the obvious play here is gonna be Nikola Jokic as he has been crushing everyone and this GS team doesn’t have anyone that can stop him. For the rest of the Nuggets it is pretty hectic as their guards are in flux here. Will Barton is the best of them and he plays some of the PG role as Morris has not been too effective. Facundo Campazzo has been the guy you want as he’s playing nearly 30 minutes off the bench and he’s been super efficient. Aaron Gordon’s ceiling isn’t gonna be great as long as Jokic is healthy but he is in play on a small slate. Jeff Green also starts and is in play on a small slate like this, as is Austin Rivers who has been starting the past two games as well.
5-star play: Stephen Curry, Nikola Jokic
4-star play: Draymond Green, Andrew Wiggins, Will Barton
Deeper Value: Kevon Looney, Jeff Green, Facundo Campazzo, Austin Rivers
GPP Sleeper: Kevon Looney
