Chicago Bulls @ New York Knicks
Vegas Total: 213.5
Vegas Spread: Chi -2
Starting with the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic has a favorable matchup here and is coming off his best game of the year so far, he’s a great play in all formats. Zach LaVine also has a big ceiling in this game as the Knicks have been struggling against guards so far this year, especially over their last 7. DeMar Derozan is also in play here tonight, although this isn’t a great matchup for him as the Knicks are one of the better defensive teams in the NBA. Lastly, Alex Caruso is their sparkplug coming off the bench, but overall this is not a game I’ll be targeting too heavily given the pace of this game.
The Knicks have been great so far this year, and I’m surprised the Bulls are favored in MSG. Their offense starts with Julius Randle who has been playing lights out again and coming off a good game, he should feast again here tonight against the Bulls frontcourt. Alec Burks will also be taking over the starting PG role which immediately puts him into play, as Kemba will be out of the rotation and he just went off last game and gets another good matchup here, his price hasn’t caught up to the production yet. RJ Barrett and Evan Fournier will also see increased roles here as well but this Knicks team isn’t too fantasy friendly. Lastly, Immanuel Quickley will run the 2nd unit here along with Derrick Rose, my preference is Rose here tonight against his old team.
5-star play: Julius Randle
4-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Zach LaVine, DeMar Derozan, Derrick Rose
Deeper Value: RJ Barrett, Evan Fournier, Alex Caruso
GPP Sleeper: Immanuel Quickly, Derrick Rose
Milwaukee Bucks @ Toronto Raptors
Vegas Total: 213.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -4.5
Starting with the Bucks, they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B, so I wouldn’t be too shocked to see them sit one or two of their studs so keep an eye on news for this one. But obviously, Giannis Antetokounmpo is in a great spot again here as they don’t have anyone that can matchup with him. Khris Middleton and Jrue Holiday are also solid plays here, but their ceilings are going to be capped as long as Giannis is healthy. Grayson Allen has also strung together a few good games in a row here and he’s pretty cheap on both sites. Pat Connaughton is also a guy that would see a boost if one of their studs were to rest here, but he’s a deeper MME type play at this time. Given how thin the spread here is I’d anticipate that one of their studs will sit.
From the Raptors, Scottie Barnes has been doing a little of it all for the Raptors, and he would see a nice boost if OG Anunoby is out again here tonight, he is a GTD so it is something to monitor once again here tonight. Pascal Siakam has also been playing well, but he gets a tougher matchup going up against Giannis here tonight. Fred VanVleet has been really good so far this year, and they’re gonna need him to continue to lead this offense here, he’s in a great spot as well. Lastly, Precious Achiuwa is a decent GPP play here, and it looks like Khem Birch may be out again here so he’d have to pick up some of that slack. If he were to miss for any reason as well then it would finally put our boy Chris Boucher into play. Lastly, if Gary Trent were to miss again then Svi Mykhailuk would likely start again and he’s a decent value.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo
4-star play: Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Scottie Barnes, Fred VanVleet, Pascal Siakam
Deeper Value: Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen
GPP Sleeper: Grayson Allen, Svi Mykhailuk

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Memphis Grizzlies
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is gonna be a premier play here tonight, as Giddey will be out again tonight and he is coming off a 39 point performance last night. He draws a great matchup here as the Grizz have been bleeding FPs to opposing PGs. Lu Dort is also a solid play here tonight on a smaller slate, as he has a high ceiling here with Giddey out. Tre Mann will also be a solid value again as he started in Giddey’s place last night but he didn’t produce much. Ty Jerome would be another value candidate as well. Lastly, Darius Bazley has been struggling this year but he is in play for value, as is Isaiah Roby who has been the better of the two.
Now for the Grizzlies, with Ja Morant out again here tonight, Tyus Jones will likely start in his place and play big minutes, he did last game but wasn’t very productive. De’Anthony Melton will also see a nice boost here along with Desmond Bane who got off to a hot start last game and fizzled out in the 2nd half. Jaren Jackson has also been seeing a nice boost in production with Ja out, and he draws a favorable matchup here tonight against this young OKC frontcourt. Steven Adams also gets a revenge game here against his old team, and he should be able to get whatever he wants here tonight. If you want to get deeper as well you can go to Brandon Clarke as well as he’s been seeing some solid minutes off the bench as well.
5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
4-star play: Lu Dort, De’Anthony Melton, Desmond Bane, Jaren Jackson
Deeper Value: Steven Adams, Brandon Clarke, Ty Jerome, Tre Mann, Darius Bazley
GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Roby, Tyus Jones
Detroit Pistons @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 210.5
Vegas Spread: Phx -13
Starting with the Pistons, they’re looking a bit better as the year goes on, but they are still pretty bad, however this spread is way too big for them as they’ve been staying with everyone they’ve played. Cade Cunningham is starting to show why he was the #1 overall pick, the price is starting to come up but for good reason as the production has been fantastic over the last 7 games and he’s still a bit too cheap especially as the Suns have been struggling against PGs over their last 7 games. Jerami Grant is also a big factor on this team, and always goes under owned, could be a GPP winner here as well, I always love playing him in that 7K range in GPPs especially on smaller slates. Isaiah Stewart has been playing much better with Olynyk out, but I want him to see more than 30 minutes and it just hasn’t been happening, he had a solid game last time out though. Saddiq Bey is also in play but he is a streaky shooter, I don’t love his price but there is some upside there but it comes with the risk of a low floor if his shot isn’t falling.
Now for the Suns, they aren’t a very friendly fantasy team, but there are a few guys that you can go to, the main one being Chris Paul, as he does a little of it all for them and he doesn’t break the bank on either site. It’s a good matchup here as well going up against Cunningham. This matchup does set up well for Devin Booker as well, he has a nice ceiling in games like these especially if this game stays close. Mikal Bridges is in play as well as he is coming off a big game for him, and he has nice upside in GPPs with the minutes he plays. DeAndre Ayton should feast as well here going up against this Pistons frontcourt and he’ll go underowned tonight as well. If you’re looking to go deep, Cameron Payne is their main guy off the bench and would get nice run if you think this game blows out.
5-star play: Cade Cunningham
4-star play: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, Jerami Grant
Deeper Value: Isaiah Stewart, Cameron Payne, Mikal Bridges, Saddiq Bey
GPP Sleeper: Cameron Payne, Frank Jackson
San Antonio Spurs @ Portland Trailblazers
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: Por -3.5
Starting with the Spurs, their offense stops and starts with Dejounte Murray as he has been their main source of offense, he has a great matchup here tonight again in the hammer game. Jakob Poeltl is also in a good spot here going up against Nurk, he has been pretty productive here as well. Keldon Johnson‘s price is very tempting as well but he can be very scoring dependent so he’s gonna be GPP only. Devin Vassell has been solid coming off the bench and is a deeper value play, and I always like Derrick White at his price, but he has been overshadowed by Murray a lot this year.
Now for the Blazers, they’re gonna be hurting a bit for a week or so here, with Dame and Nassir Little out. Anfernee Simons will be the primary beneficiary here and he steps into a prime spot. CJ McCollum should also see an uptick here, especially if Norman Powell were to miss again tonight, but he’ll probably be core either way with Dame out. Jusuf Nurkic is in a decent spot here as well, and I’ll even have some shares of Robert Covington if Powell misses, but the preference is gonna be on Nurkic as the Spurs are not great against bigs. Lastly, you can round out the GPP options here with guys like Larry Nance and Dennis Smith Jr. if you’re looking to get really deep.
5-star play: Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Anferee Simons
4-star play: Jakob Poeltl, Jusuf Nurkic, Derrick White, Keldon Johnson
Deeper Value: Dennis Smith Jr., Larry Nance, Robert Covington, Devin Vassell
GPP Sleeper: Dennis Smith Jr.
