Houston Rockets @ Indiana Pacers
Vegas Total: 220.5
Vegas Spread: Ind -8.5
Starting with the Rockets, it should be hard for them to keep up here in this one without KPJ, but Christian Wood had a solid performance last night and he should carry this offense. Jae’Sean Tate would be the main beneficiary if he were to miss as he was a GTD last night and they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B. Eric Gordon has been playing big minutes as well but the production hasn’t been great. Armoni Brooks has been starting at PG for them and should continue to do so. Josh Christopher is a guy I like coming off the bench for them as well as he is still pretty cheap on both sites. Lastly, if you want to take the risk, Alperen Sengun would also see some solid minutes if Christian Wood were to miss, but he has burned us before.
Now for the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon exited last game with that achilles issue, so I see him missing tonight which would open up some value in the form of Brad Wanamaker as TJ is still out. This will be a nice boost to both Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner as their usage increase the most when he is out. Caris LeVert would also see a slight increase and he is fairly cheap on both sites as well. If you’re looking for value, Justin Holiday has been starting the last few games, and Chris Duarte is also in play as well.
5-star play: Domantas Sabonis
4-star play: Christian Wood, Jae’Sean Tate, Eric Gordon, Caris LeVert
Deeper Value: Josh Christopher, Alperen Sengun, Justin Holiday, Brad Wanamaker
GPP Sleeper: Brad Wanamaker
New Orleans Pelicans @ Orlando Magic
Vegas Total: 208.5
Vegas Spread: Nop -5
Starting with the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas has already been ruled out tonight, so this makes Willy Hernangomez a premier play as he should destroy thisMagic frontcourt with all the injuries they have. Brandon Ingram has also been on a tear the past few games and this Magic defense is bleeding FPs at every position. Devonte’ Graham is also seeing big minutes and producing, as has Josh Hart who played 42 minutes last night and is pretty cheap everywhere. Herbert Jones will also see an increased role with JoVal out and if you’re looking to get really different, Nickeil Alexander-Walker had a big game off the bench but he is streaky.
Now for the Magic, they are hurting big time with all the injuries they have, but Franz Wagner has really stepped up and is a great play at his price on both sites tonight. Chuma Okeke has also stepped up big time and he’s a great play on FanDuel at his price as he gets a lot of peripheral stats. If Carter and Bamba are out again tonight as well then we can go right back to Robin Lopez as well as he is a FPPM monster when given time. Gary Harris will also be forced into big minutes and Hassani Gravett also started and played 25 minutes last night. Aleem Ford also saw some decent minutes off the bench last night and should be close to minimum here.
5-star play: Brandon Ingram
4-star play: Willy Hernangomez, Devonte’ Graham, Franz Wagner, Chuma Okeke, Robin Lopez, Gary Harris
Deeper Value: Hassani Gravett, Aleem Ford, Herbert Jones
GPP Sleeper: Robin Lopez

Atlanta Hawks @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 214.5
Vegas Spread: Phi -9.5
Starting with the Hawks, they’ve been decimated as well now so a ton of value has opened up. John Collins will be their primary option on offense here with so many of their starters out. Delon Wright started in place of Trae and he should see big minutes again tonight as he came on late in last nights game. Cam Reddish is gonna be the biggest beneficiary here as well as he dropped 50+ last night and is still cheap. Gorgui Dieng started last night but had a sub par game and gets a tough matchup here. Lance Stephenson also made an appearance and should be very cheap everywhere as well. Lastly, Onyeka Okongwu is in play here as well but they don’t want to give him too many minutes.
Now for the Sixers, Tyrese Maxey is dealing with a litany of injuries so I doubt he suits up here, which makes Seth Curry a great play with Shake Milton already out as well. Joel Embiid will be able to get whatever he wants here but the blowout risk does concern me in this one. Tobias Harris is also a great play here for cheaper as he still tends to play even in blowouts. If you’re looking to go really deep here, then Danny Green, Isaiah Joe and Charles Bassey would all be in line for decent minutes if this game blows out. Also, Matisse Thybulle is in play here if he starts as well but I like him more on FanDuel where peripheral stats are worth more.
5-star play: John Collins, Joel Embiid
4-star play: Seth Curry, Tobias Harris, Delon Wright, Cam Reddish
Deeper Value: Danny Green, Isaiah Joe, Charles Bassey, Lance Stephenson
GPP Sleeper: Gorgui Dieng
Detroit Pistons @ Miami Heat
Vegas Total: 205.5
Vegas Spread: Mia -11
Starting with the Pistons, Saddiq Bey has donned a headband and turned into a scoring monster, he’s a solid play here tonight even in a tougher matchup. Isaiah Stewart is also in play here as the Heat have been struggling against bigs without Bam. Cade Cunningham is a really solid play here as well, even going up against Lowry. Killian Hayes missed last game, and if he were to miss then Frank Jackson will be a solid value as well as will Cory Joseph. Hamidou Diallo has also been starting and seeing some solid minutes but his production is capped a bit. Saben Lee has also been playing solid minutes off the bench as well.
Now for the Heat, Kyle Lowry has a premier matchup here with all the Heat players out but Tyler Herro did return last game so he should be back as well. Max Strus continues to shoot lights out and he should continue to start here as well but his price has come up here as well. Gabe Vincent also has been great starting and got over 30 minutes. Dewayne Dedmon has also been playing solid minutes but the price has come up on both sites as well. KZ Okpala has also been playing solid minutes off the bench and he is cheap on both sites.
5-star play: Kyle Lowry
4-star play: Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart, Cade Cunningham, Tyler Herro
Deeper Value: Gabe Vincent, Max Strus, Hamidou Diallo
GPP Sleeper: Saben Lee, Frank Jackson
Washington Wizards @ New York Knicks
Vegas Total: 208.5
Vegas Spread: Wsh -1
Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal is gonna be their main source of scoring here, he’s been pretty good here but the ceiling isn’t what it was last year. Spencer Dinwiddie is also in play here but he’s priced right about at value. KCP is also in protocols now, so Deni Avdija should draw the start and he’s been playing very well but this is a tougher matchup. Kyle Kuzma has also been solid but he’s not a guy I’ll be targeting too heavily here either way. Montrezl Harrell and Daniel Gafford are also splitting minutes at the 5 and they’ll need both of them here as well.
Now for the Knicks, Julius Randle should feast here as the Wizards have been getting torched by bigs the past two weeks and with Noel in protocols now Mitchell Robinson will become a very nice GPP play here and should be lower owned. Evan Fournier has also been taking advantage of his opportunity as well but he is pretty scoring dependent. Alec Burks has also been playing a ton of minutes and with Rose now out with surgery he’ll be playing even more minutes with Quickley out as well. Kemba Walker is also back in the rotation and he becomes a great play as well at his price on both sites as well.
5-star play: Julius Randle
4-star play: Bradley Beal, Spencer Dinwiddie, Mitchell Robinson, Kemba Walker, Alec Burks
Deeper Value: Daniel Gafford, Kyle Kuzma, Deni Avdija, Kemba Walker
GPP Sleeper: Mitchell Robinson
Milwaukee Bucks @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 215.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -5
Starting with the Bucks, they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B as well and I could see them pulling some stuff here so keep an eye on news especially tonight. Khris Middleton is a premier play again here tonight and he is priced nicely on both sites. Jrue Holiday is also a great play but he is priced up big time on both sites as well. Jordan Nwora has also been playing really well with Giannis out and he is out again here tonight. Grayson Allen is being eased back in so he’s not a great value play tonight unless he starts. DeMarcus Cousins is also in play on both sites but he’s priced up more on FanDuel. If you’re looking to get really deep, George Hill and Pat Connaughton are both in play for value.
Now for the Mavericks, they’ve been decimated by injuries and COVID here as well. Kristaps Porzingis missed last game as well and if he’s out again here then we may get some of Boban Marjanovic here. Jalen Brunson should see huge minutes again here along with Frank Ntilikina. Trey Burke also saw 22 minutes off the bench, he is in play for value as well. Dorian Finney-Smith also played 40+ last game and while he isn’t a high usage guy anyone can make value with that amount of minutes. Sterling Brown also saw 33 minutes last game and he is very much in play for value as well here even on a big slate.
5-star play: Khris Middleton, Jalen Brunson
4-star play: Jrue Holiday, Jordan Nwora, Dorian Finney-Smith, Sterling Brown
Deeper Value: Frank Ntilikina, Trey Burke, George Hill, Pat Connaughton
GPP Sleeper: Trey Burke, Sterling Brown
Charlotte Hornets @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: 229
Vegas Spread: Den -3.5
This is going to be a game that I will be targeting here tonight as it should be competitive and it has the highest total on the night. Starting with the Hornets, LaMelo Ball has a very good matchup as the Nuggets are bleeding FPs to guards and they’re on the 2nd half of a B2B as well. Mason Plumlee is back as well but he didn’t play many minutes and PJ Washington is healthy. Terry Rozier is also in play here as he should be fresh after the Hornets got blown out by the Suns. Miles Bridges is also in a very good spot here as the Nuggets have been struggling defensively but he hasn’t been showing a ton of upside recently. That’s about all I want to touch from this CHA team.
Now for the Nuggets, the obvious play here is gonna be Nikola Jokic as he has been crushing everyone and this CHA team is bleeding FPs to C’s but he is pricey. For the rest of the Nuggets it is pretty hectic as their guards are in flux here. Will Barton is the best of them and he plays some of the PG role as Morris has not been too effective. Facundo Campazzo has been the guy you want as he’s playing nearly 30 minutes off the bench and he’s been super efficient. Aaron Gordon’s ceiling isn’t gonna be great as long as Jokic is healthy but he isn’t a guy I’ll have a ton of on a huge slate like this.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic
4-star play: LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges, Terry Rozier, Will Barton
Deeper Value: Facundo Campazzo, PJ Washington, Miles Plumlee
GPP Sleeper: Facundo Campazzo
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 215
Vegas Spread: Phx -15
The Thunder are on the 2nd half of a B2B coming off a big win against the Nuggets. This should be much tougher though as indicated by the spread here. I won’t be targeting this game at all but for the Thunder you can get some Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as he is coming off a monster game, he’d really be the only guy that I want from this team, but if you’re looking to get really deep then Lu Dort is in play as he has a massive ceiling but a low floor.
The Suns are back at full strength here, and they’re a bad team to target from a fantasy perspective, but with how ugly this game could get some of the Suns bench players could go off. I won’t be touching CP3 or Devin Booker here, but Deandre Ayton should be in line for whatever he wants here against this OKC frontcourt. For their bench players, Cameron Payne is gonna be my main target here, along with Cameron Johnson as well. Even some Landry Shamet if you’re really feeling frisky.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Deandre Ayton, Chris Paul, Devin Booker
Deeper Value: Lu Dort, Landry Shamet, Cameron Payne, Cameron Johnson
GPP Sleeper: Cameron Payne
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Utah Jazz
Vegas Total: 225.5
Vegas Spread: Uth -10.5
This game should be ugly, but starting with the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has the best matchup here as the Jazz actually do bleed FPs to bigs here. D’Angelo Russell is also in play here as well but he has a tougher matchup going up against this Jazz backcourt duo. Jaylen Nowell and Naz Reid are both GTDs. Jaden McDaniels should continue to see big minutes with Vanderbilt out and Malik Beasley is also in play here as he should see huge minutes. Lastly, if Nowell is out, Jordan McLaughlin would be in line for big minutes at PG as Bolmaro is not the answer.
Now for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is in play here as MIN is horrible against guards, especially SGs. Rudy Gobert is a great play here as well as KAT is not a good defender and he should get whatever he wants. Mike Conley is always solid but he never really goes crazy unless Clarkson or Mitchell are out. Royce O’Neale is a guy you can go to in GPPs for value but on a bigger slate but this won’t be a game I’m targeting to heavily tonight.
5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns
4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Jaden McDaniels, Malik Beasley, Rudy Gobert
Deeper Value: Royce O’Neale, Jordan McLaughlin
GPP Sleeper: Jordan McLaughlin
Memphis Grizzlies @ Golden State Warriors
Vegas Total: 217
Vegas Spread: Gsw -6.5
Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is back which takes the shine off of a few guys here, especially Dillon Brooks, but both are in play here tonight. Jaren Jackson has all the talent in the world but never seems to live up to the hype, but this is a good spot for him as the Warriors will play small. Steven Adams does not have a good matchup here as GS plays small a lot which causes matchup problems. The other Grizzlies guards aren’t really in play here with Ja back but these guys really are all I want here on such a big slate.
For the Warriors, Stephen Curry should be back here and he’s gonna have a ton of usage here with Poole and Lee both in COVID protocols, this could be a really good spot for Gary Payton as I’d assume that he will get the start in this one. Draymond Green also has a great matchup here as he’ll be on the floor a ton here with the Warriors playing small and he’ll be able to take advantage of that matchup against JJJ. Otto Porter has been seeing some big minutes as well, he’s in play here as well as long as Wiggins continues to be out. If you want to get really deep, Nemanja Bjelica is also a solid value as well.
5-star play: Stephen Curry
4-star play: Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson, Dillon Brooks, Draymond Green
Deeper Value: Otto Porter, Nemanja Bjelica, Gary Payton
GPP Sleeper: Otto Porter, Gary Payton
San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Lakers
Vegas Total: 223.5
Vegas Spread: Lal -1.5
Starting with the Spurs, Dejounte Murray has been on a tear this year and he shouldn’t be slowing down here as the Lakers have been really bad against PGs this year with Westbrook. Derrick White has also been playing well but his price has come up significantly on both sites. Jakob Poeltl has a good matchup here as well with AD still out and he should get whatever he wants. Lonnie Walker IV has also been playing very well and he’s the guy I want over Vassell even if Walker comes off the bench. The Spurs are a team I’ll target a bit here especially being in the hammer game with one of the higher totals on the night.
Now for the Lakers, with AD out, this will be LeBron James’ team moving forward and he is an elite play but the price has come up significantly on both sites as well. Russell Westbrook is also in play here, but he’ll defer to LeBron a lot here but Russ does have the better matchup. Isaiah Thomas also is in play here but his price is a bit uncomfortable for a guy who is so scoring dependent. Carmelo Anthony is gonna be their main guy off the bench here as well, and if you really want to get deep you can get some Talen Horton-Tucker but he’s been subpar at best as well.
5-star play: LeBron James, Dejounte Murray
4-star play: Derrick White, Russell Westbrook, Jakob Poeltl
Deeper Value: Isaiah Thomas, Carmelo Anthony, Lonnie Walker IV, Talen Horton-Tucker
GPP Sleeper: Lonnie Walker IV
