Golden State Warriors @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
Starting with the Warriors, Stephen Curry has been on an absolute tear to start this year, and the Cavs are a decent defensive team, but they will slow this game down so that doesn’t help this Warriors team. Jordan Poole has also stepped up big time here, but he is scoring dependent so he’s gonna be a GPP only play for me moving forward especially with Klay coming back soon. Kevon Looney has seen an increase in minutes but he might be a matchup based fade here as the Warriors could go small here, especially with how decimated the Cavs are in their frontcourt. Draymond Green has also been playing very well, and he’s been fantastic especially at his price on FanDuel and the Warriors could go small here. For value plays, Nemanja Bjelica and Gary Payton have been playing some solid minutes off the bench but not guys I’m seeking out here tonight.
From the Cavs, Darius Garland has been a bit up and down since Sexton’s injury, but he has a good matchup here as we know that Steph isn’t going to play much defense. Ricky Rubio will be the main beneficiary of Sexton being out, but his price did come up a bit on both sites so he is no longer the great value he was and the floor is still very low, but the payoff could be huge. Jarrett Allen missed the last two games, and Evan Mobley also got hurt a few games ago so they are really thin on bodies. If Lauri Markkanen still hasn’t returned but Kevin Love did return last game, but I don’t see him playing big minutes here. Cedi Osman becomes very fantasy viable as does Dean Wade who has also been starting but would be forced into a bigger role.
5-star play: Stephen Curry
4-star play: Darius Garland, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Ricky Rubio
Deeper Value: Cedi Osman, Dean Wade, Kevon Looney
GPP Sleeper: Cedi Osman, Dean Wade, Gary Payton
Washington Wizards @ Miami Heat
Vegas Total: 211
Vegas Spread: Indy -6.5
Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal has returned to the team and is not on a minutes limit here, love him in all formats tonight even in a tougher matchup. Spencer Dinwiddie should go back to his normal usage, but he’s a bit overpriced on both sites now. Kyle Kuzma has also been solid, but the price has come up a bit as well, really like him in GPPs on a smaller slate. Montrezl Harrell and Daniel Gafford continue to share this frontcourt which is going to be frustrating from a DFS perspective. Aaron Holiday will slide back to the bench here, but overall this Wizards team isn’t one that I’ll be targeting heavily outside of Beal.
From the Heat, Jimmy Butler returned last game, and he looked good, so I’ll go right back to him here tonight. The surprise was that Kyle Lowry was out along with Bam. If Lowry is out again, Tyler Herro is gonna be the main beneficiary here, and we saw how that turned out the other night as he played a ton of minutes and should do so again here, he has nice upside at his price on both sites. Bam Adebayo has been solid as well, but he has missed the past two games, if he misses then you have some value here again tonight. Duncan Robinson would also become viable if Lowry were to miss again, but the main guy you’re gonna want there is Herro. Dewayne Dedmon would be a core play again for me tonight if he were to miss again tonight.
5-star play: Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler
4-star play: Tyler Herro, Spencer Dinwiddie, Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Kuzma
Deeper Value: Duncan Robinson, Daniel Gafford, Dewayne Dedmon
GPP Sleeper: Daniel Gafford

Los Angeles Clippers @ Memphis Grizzlies
Vegas Total: 221
Vegas Spread: Lac -1
Starting with the Clippers, as long as Kawhi is out the main target is going to be Paul George as he has elite usage and 60+ upside especially in a game like this one if it stays close as the Grizzlies have been allowing a ton of FPs to opposing teams and playing all of them tight. Ivica Zubac‘s minutes have been trending in the wrong direction, so he’ll likely be a fade for me here, but I do have some interest in Isaiah Hartenstein as it looks like he has leapfrogged him in the minutes department, but he is not consistent. Terance Mann missed last game, and if he were to miss again that would be an ice boost to both Nic Batum and Luke Kennard. Eric Bledsoe and Reggie Jackson are basically a coin flip at this point as well as to who is going to have the better game, but I don’t have a ton of interest in either tonight, but Bledsoe has really been picking it up over the last few games and I think he has more upside than Jackson.
Now for the Grizzlies, they don’t have a ton of fantasy prospects here but they are a good young team on the rise. The main target here is gonna be Ja Morant as he’s been elite so far this year, and looks to be making that jump to superstar, however, he gets a very nice matchup here as the Clippers are not great against opposing guards this year. Jaren Jackson Jr. also has all the upside in the world but doesn’t always put it together, but he’s always in play for GPPs. Steven Adams should have a solid game here as well as he should be able to get whatever he wants here against Zubac and Hartenstein. Desmond Bane and De’Anthony Melton are also both decent plays as well here, but Dillon Brooks returned last game which will limit both of those guys’ ceilings.
5-star play: Paul George, Ja Morant
4-star play: Eric Bledsoe, Reggie Jackson, Jaren Jackson, Steven Adams
Deeper Value: Luke Kennard, Isaiah Hartenstein
GPP Sleeper: Luke Kennard
San Antonio Spurs @Minnesota Timberwolves
Vegas Total: 222.5
Vegas Spread: Min -2.5
Starting with the Spurs, Derrick White is still gonna be a great play tonight at this price, as the T-Wolves defense is just a dumpster fire, they refuse to raise his price on both sites. Dejounte Murray is also in a fine spot, but you have to pay up more for him here but he should be worth it, if you can afford him tonight, do it, he should be low owned and could go for 50+ FPs in this spot, he’s been elite this year. Keldon Johnson looks like he’s taken a nice step forward as well, but he can be a bit scoring dependent at times but he’s picked up his consistency of late so he’s a solid option here in his price range. Jakob Poeltl looks like he’ll be out again here as well, so if you want to get really deep you can take a shot on Drew Eubanks as they’ll need his size tonight, but I’ll also have some shares of Thad Young as him and Eubanks have been splitting those Poeltl minutes.
Now for the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been fantastic so far this year, and he gets a nut matchup here going up against this undersized Spurs frontcourt that has been playing small with Thad Young at the 5. D’Angelo Russell is still impossible to get right, he’s gonna be extremely volatile once again this year, he’s a GPP only option for me tonight but I’d be ok fading him. Anthony Edwards has been solid as well, but the price has come up here to where you really have to want him to have a ceiling game to play him, I’ll be underweight here as well. If you want to get really different you can take a shot on Jaden McDaniels or Jarred Vanderbilt in that front court for value.
5-star play: Dejounte Murray, Karl-Anthony Towns
4-star play: Derrick White, Keldon Johnson, D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards
Deeper Value: Thad Young, Drew Eubanks, Jaden McDaniels
GPP Sleeper: Derrick White
Philadelphia 76ers @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: Den -8
Joel Embiid looks like he’ll be out again here, so that means you can fire up Andre Drummond once again, even at his increased price, I like him in GPPs tonight as people will be off him due to his recent performance, and the fact that the Nuggets are a tough defense. Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry as well as both have been playing a ton of minutes and Maxey has been on a tear over the past few games as well, really like him tonight, but the price really has shot up. Tobias Harris is also back here, and he should be a full go tonight and he’s a phenomenal play especially on FanDuel, not as high at that price on DraftKings. Georges Niang has really stepped it up off the bench as well but with Harris back it limits his upside. Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton have also been decent, but Harris being back really kills a lot of their upside as well, but you can still take a flier on them in GPPs, preferably Milton as he’s still been starting as of late.
For the Nuggets, the story is gonna be pretty much the same here, Nikola Jokic is gonna dominate the ball here and get whatever he wants against Drummond in this one, as he is not a good defender. Will Barton has also been very good so far this year and even gets additional minutes running the point with the 2nd unit, but he popped up as a GTD here so that is something to monitor here tonight. Michael Porter Jr. will be out for an extended period of time, which boosts Barton even more in this spot as well if he does play. If Barton were to miss it would be a nice boost to Monte Morris and Aaron Gordon as their usage would take a nice leap as well. Lastly, Bones Hyland has also been playing very well off the bench, and with MPJ out that opens up a few more shots for him in this spot tonight as well.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Tobias Harris
4-star play: Tyrese Maxey, Seth Curry, Will Barton, Aaron Gordon, Shake Milton
Deeper Value: Bones Hyland, Monte Morris, Georges Niang
GPP Sleeper: Bones Hyland
Toronto Raptors @ Utah Jazz
Vegas Total: TBD
Vegas Spread: TBD
From the Raptors, Scottie Barnes is gonna be a fade for me at this price tonight with Siakam back and a difficult matchup. OG Anunoby is a guy that thrives in games like these, where he has to do some dirty work and the Raptors will need him big time tonight, but with Pascal Siakam back it will cap his upside a bit in this one. Fred VanVleet has been really good so far this year, and they’re gonna need him to continue to lead this offense here, but his matchup is tough here as well going up against Mike Conley. Lastly, Precious Achiuwa will be a really solid value play here if Khem Birch were to miss again, and if Siakam misses for any reason then we can go right back to Chris Boucher again as well as he’ll be forced into minutes.
Now for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been on a tear over the past few games, even with the Jazz at full strength, and this is a solid spot for him again here tonight as this Raptors team has been lost against guards, really like him in GPPs. Mike Conley has been his usual solid self, but he’s not someone I’m going out of my way to roster in this spot. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles are both solid GPP fliers here as well going up against the Raptors 2nd unit, and they could also see more run here if this game blows out. Rudy Gobert is another guy who has been really solid this year, and he gets a solid matchup here against a young Raptors frontcourt. Then you can round this team out with GPP guys like Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale who are both solid role guys who play good minutes but aren’t high usage, however O’Neale has seen an increase in usage over the past few games but the price has also increased.
5-star play: Donovan Mitchell
4-star play: Fred VanVleet, Mike Conley, OG Anunoby, Pascal Siakam, Rudy Gobert
Deeper Value: Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic, Royce O’Neale
GPP Sleeper: Jordan Clarkson
