Washington Wizards @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Starting with the Wizards, Bradley Beal is going to be a GTD again here, if he is out then I will have some interest in the guys we’ve been going to in the last few games. Spencer Dinwiddie is going to be the main beneficiary here, love him in all formats here tonight and will likely be a core play if Beal is out. Kyle Kuzma has started the season looking great for this Wizards team, and he’ll see a nice usage boost if Beal is out as well, he’s a great play either way as he’s been solid with his new team. Montrezl Harrell and Daniel Gafford continue to share this frontcourt which is going to be frustrating from a DFS perspective, but if Beal is out both have more upside here tonight. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope was also solid last time Beal missed a game, and Raul Neto will also become fantasy relevant as a value play, we will have news on Beal before lock though. Aaron Holiday would also be in line for another start if Beal is to miss this game and he’s a solid value.

The Hornets have been a tough team to predict so far this year, but they get a nice matchup here as the Wizards don’t play much defense and play at a torrid pace like they have been the past few years. Terry Rozier is pretty cheap here on both sites, I’ll have some exposure even on an 11 game slate. LaMelo Ball already looks like he’s taken a huge leap forward in his second year in the NBA, he has been on a tear over the past week or so, but I like his price much more on FanDuel. I like both Gordon Hayward and Miles Bridges here as they’ll both play north of 30 minutes, I believe Bridges has the higher ceiling of the two. Kelly Oubre has GPP winning upside here, but the consistency isn’t there to make him anything other than a GPP option as the consistency is just non-existent.

5-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, LaMelo Ball

4-star play: Kyle Kuzma, Montrezl Harrell, Gordon Hayward, Miles Bridges, Terry Rozier

Deeper Value: Kelly Oubre, Raul Neto, Aaron Holiday, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

GPP Sleeper: Terry Rozier

Indiana Pacers @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: 211

Vegas Spread: Indy -6.5

For the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis has looked great to so far this season, but it looks like his fantasy usage will depend on whether or not Caris LeVert is healthy, his usage decreases a bunch when LeVert is in, so I’ll likely be underweight on him here even in a good spot. Malcolm Brogdon has also been playing very well, and has GPP winning upside especially as he’ll be low owned on a big slate like this. The Myles Turner experience is still in full effect as he could either go for 50+ or drop below 20, strictly GPP only play, but the defense is legit so the block upside is there on FanDuel. He’s the ultimate tournament guy as usual. T.J. McConnell is also a decent option if any of the Pacers guards miss this game. Chris Duarte was injured last game as well, so those Pacers starters could see a slight uptick if he is out.

Now for the Pistons, they’re pretty much just as terrible as they were last year, but Cade Cunningham is starting to show why he was the #1 overall pick, the price is starting to come up but for good reason as he is coming off his first 40+ FP performance last game. Jerami Grant is also a big factor on this team, and always goes under owned, could be a GPP winner here as well. Isaiah Stewart has seen an uptick in production with Olynyk out, and I would expect his role to continue to grow here, he is definitely in play on both slates as the price hasn’t caught up yet. Saddiq Bey is also in play but he is a streaky shooter, I don’t love his price but there is some upside there but it comes with the risk of a low floor if his shot isn’t falling.

5-star play: Cade Cunningham, Malcolm Brogdon

4-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Caris LeVert, Jerami Grant, Myles Turner

Deeper Value: Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart, T.J. McConnell

GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Stewart, Myles Turner

Boston Celtics @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 214

Vegas Spread: Atl -4

From the Celtics, Jaylen Brown has already been ruled out in this game with a hamstring injury so Jayson Tatum is gonna be your main target here, although he hasn’t been performing up to that ceiling lately, but Robert Williams is also likely out here so that’s even more usage that should flor his way. Al Horford is also a great play here as he’s been a beast on the boards the past few weeks and you could also see Grant Williams become viable if he starts in Williams’. Dennis Schroder will also see a nice boost here as well and will likely start and play heavy minutes tonight. Josh Richardson has also been solid for value and should come in very low owned as should Marcus Smart who has been on fire the past few games from deep.

Now for the Hawks, Trae Young has looked elite so far this year, he got off to a torrid start the other night, but he’s been matchup proof either way and tonight the matchup is solid again. Bogdan Bogdanovic has also been decent so far this year, there are worse plays in GPPs tonight. John Collins is also a really nice mid-range play, but his upside is gonna be a bit limited as long as Clint Capela is healthy, but he has looked fantastic so far this year. Danilo Gallinari is a decent value play here as well, especially since De’Andre Hunter is gonna be out for the foreseeable future with wrist surgery. Cam Reddish and Kevin Huerter are the biggest beneficiaries with Huerter being the biggest.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Trae Young

4-star play: Al Horford, Clint Capela, Dennis Schroder, John Collins

Deeper Value: Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter, Grant Williams, Josh Richardson

GPP Sleeper: Kevin Huerter

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 206.5

Vegas Spread: Bkn -10.5

From the Cavs, Darius Garland has been a bit up and down since Sexton’s injury, but he has a good matchup here against the Nets who are on the 2nd half of a B2B. Ricky Rubio will be the main beneficiary of Sexton being out, but his price did come up a bit on both sites so he is no longer the great value he was a few games ago but the ceiling is there in a matchup like this. Jarrett Allen missed last game, and if he were to miss again here then it would open up some value in their frontcourt as Evan Mobley also got hurt last game and is in danger of missing this game as well. If Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love are both still out here then Cedi Osman becomes very fantasy viable as does Dean Wade who has also been starting but would be forced into a bigger role offensively.

Now for the Nets so far they’ve been a pretty easy team to predict, as Kevin Durant is gonna be the main guy there as long as he is in town. Kyrie has still not seen the floor which obviously also boosts the usage of James Harden, however, we have not seen a ceiling game from him so far this year, but the price continues to drop to where he is very playable. I am not worried about the B2B tonight as they got blown out and didn’t play the 4th quarter, so they should both be good to go here. Outside of those main 2 guys it is a free for all, Joe Harris getting hurt has opened up some minutes for Bruce Brown and De’Andre Bembry, both are solid value plays here. LaMarcus Aldridge has decent games from time to time and should be fresh as he didn’t play last night due to the matchup. Patty Mills will also be an elite value play again tonight as well as he started in Harris’ place and should do so again tonight.

5-star play: Kevin Durant, James Harden

4-star play: Darius Garland, Jarrett Allen, Bruce Brown, Patty Mills

Deeper Value: De’Andre Bembry, Bruce Brown, Cedi Osman, Dean Wade

GPP Sleeper: Cedi Osman, Dean Wade, Patty Mills

New Orleans Pelicans @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

From the Pelicans, Jonas Valanciunas have been front and center in this offense, and they’ll be relying on him heavily until Zion gets back. The price is way up on him but for good reason, he’s a solid play even at his new price on both sites as he either gets a swinging door in Dedmon or a banged up Bam. Devonte’ Graham continues to look good as well and in a solid matchup here, his price has come down with Ingram back in the lineup. With Zion off the court last season, Brandon Ingram was the guy you wanted, and he’s back here, hopefully he is off his minutes limit tonight because if Butler is out his matchup gets ten times better. Nickeil Alexander-Walker is a guy who is in play for GPPs but with Ingram back it cuts into his usage the most. If you’re looking to get really different, Herbert Jones has also been starting but not doing much, but he is playable, just not thrilled about it on a big slate.

From the Heat, Jimmy Butler missed the past few games and is in jeopardy of missing again here tonight, this is one of the earlier games though so we don’t have to worry about news. If Jimmy is out, Tyler Herro is gonna be the main beneficiary here, and we saw how that turned out the other night as he played a ton of minutes and should do so again here, he has nice upside at his price on both sites. This leads me to Kyle Lowry, he’s been much more aggressive offensively the past few weeks, and if Jimmy misses he is still too cheap on both sites for the production we’ve been getting. Bam Adebayo has been solid as well, but he missed last game, so that is something to keep an eye on here. Dewayne Dedmon would be a core play again for me tonight if he were to miss again tonight.

5-star play: Tyler Herro

4-star play: Kyle Lowry, Bam Adebayo, Devonte’ Graham, Brandon Ingram, Jonas Valanciunas

Deeper Value: Herbert Jones, Nickeil Alexander-Walker

GPP Sleeper: Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Orlando Magic @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 208.5

Vegas Spread: Nyk -11.5

From the Magic, Cole Anthony has been really good so far this year which has caused his price to shoot up. That said, It’s hard to ignore his production right now, I have no issue with him as a secondary option here even in a tougher matchup against the Knicks. It seems as if the Magic are going to have Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. on the floor a lot together this year. Both guys are interesting here, but I prefer Carter Jr. here as he’s been the more efficient one. Then the last guy I really have any interest in is Jalen Suggs, but he turned an ankle last game so that is something to keep an eye on here, but you can throw Franz Wagner in with him as guys that will probably be seeing around 3o minutes and has a floor of around 20 FPs. Lastly, I do like the price tag on Terrence Ross for tournaments, and he would see a nice boost here if Suggs were to miss this game as well.

For the Knicks, they look very legit so far this year, led by their All-Star Julius Randle. He is a premier play here today, and he gets a great matchup here going up against a Magic frontcourt that has been getting smashed by bigs, I’m expecting a big game out of him here tonight. Evan Fournier has also been a great addition and R.J. Barrett has been great as well, I prefer R.J. here as he is less scoring dependent. Mitchell Robinson should also see solid minutes here as the Knicks still have a few injuries in their front court and he’s pretty cheap on both sites, I’ll like him more if Noel is out again tonight. If you’re looking for guys coming off the bench, Derrick Rose is one of the best in the business, and Obi Toppin has been showing why he was drafted early last year as well.

5-star play: Cole Anthony, Julius Randle

4-star play: Mo Bamba, Wendell Carter, R.J. Barrett

Deeper Value: Evan Fournier, Mitchell Robinson, Derrick Rose

GPP Sleeper: Franz Wagner

Los Angeles Lakers @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

From the Lakers, LeBron James has been ruled out for at least the next few games, so we can get some fantasy goodness with both Russell Westbrook and Anthony Davis. This should be a tight game, as the Bucks are not blowing teams out like they were last year. LeBron being out would also open up some value in Carmelo Anthony and Malik Monk, with my preference on Anthony in that case. Kent Bazemore is a guy you can get to as well if you want to go deeper but I’d prefer to play Melo and Monk in that salary range, his minutes have been on the downward trend again as well. Rajon Rondo also returned last game, and he’s viable as he is a FPPM monster and should see 20+ off the bench with LeBron out. Lastly, Dwight Howard is a solid value off the bench and this Bucks D is not good on their interior.

From Milwaukee, Brook Lopez has already been ruled out here, but Jrue Holiday is back here and should see full run, he’s moderately priced on both sites which is nice as well. Giannis Antetokounmpo is also obviously in play here, but he is high priced and will need to do a lot to meet value. Bobby Portis’s role will increase here, as Khris Middleton is a GTD here, but he’s been out almost 2 weeks so I doubt he gets full run here. Portis has been starting as well and he’s still a solid price. Keep an eye on Breaking News Feed for updates. They obviously didn’t have guys like George Hill and Grayson Allen last season, both are in play here as they’ve both been solid values with some nice upside as well at low ownership on a big slate.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Anthony Davis

4-star play: Russell Westbrook, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis

Deeper Value: Carmelo Anthony, Malik Monk, Grayson Allen

GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo

Sacramento Kings @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: 222.5

Vegas Spread: Min -2

Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox hasn’t started the season all that great but that’s due to the insane amount of guards that this Kings team uses in their rotation. He’s gonna be a GPP only option from me going forward, especially with Haliburton back in the rotation as well. Then we get to the group of Harrison Barnes, Buddy Hield, and Tyrese Haliburton who are all solid secondary options, but none are really exciting with this crowded Kings backcourt. Barnes is going to be your most consistent and has started the season really well but his price reflects that here. Then, Richaun Holmes owns this frontcourt right now with Marvin Bagley essentially being out of Sacramento in the near future. If you’re looking for a cheap option on this team I would go down to rookie Davion Mitchell who has seen an increased role here, he is cheap and probably my favorite of the Sacramento guards from a value perspective.

Now for the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been fantastic so far this year, and he gets a nut matchup here going up against this undersized Kings frontcourt. D’Angelo Russell was nearly impossible to get right as we got toward the back-end of the season last year and looks he’s gonna be extremely volatile once again this year, he’s a GPP only option for me tonight on a big slate. Anthony Edwards continues to see his price climb, but for good reason. He picked up right where he left off last season as one of the best young scorers in the league and he hasn’t showed any signs of slowing down even with D-Lo back and the Kings play fast which plays right into his hands in this one. If you want to get really different you can take a shot on Jaden McDaniels or Jarred Vanderbilt in that front court, whichever one starts is the one I’d prefer.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Harrison Barnes, Buddy Hield, Tyrese Haliburton, Richaun Holmes, Anthony Edwards

Deeper Value: D’Angelo Russell, Jarred Vanderbilt, Davion Mitchell

GPP Sleeper: De’Aaron Fox

Houston Rockets @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Now for the Rockets, Kevin Porter Jr. has been very up and down to start the year, but that is to be expected from a young guard, he draws a good matchup here but it is one he could take advantage of as Oklahoma City is horrible defensively so far this year against all positions. Christian Wood is a premier play as well here, as he has been going off at low ownership and that could happen again here tonight, really like him as an underrated play tonight. Jalen Green is a guy I’ve been high on all season and has been a bit volatile, so probably more of a GPP guy, but the price continues to come down which is nice. Alpherun Sengun if you want to get really different, but at this point in time there isn’t a ton of guys I want to target on this Rockets team.

From the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s price has been all over the place but he is pretty cheap here, but the matchup is fantastic as the Rockets are horrible against opposing guards, but he always seems to screw me when I play him. He’s a great play on both sites at this price tag with a great individual matchup. Darius Bazley has been up and down, but he’s been productive when given the minutes and he’s coming off his best game of the year, but Giddey has been zapping some of his usage. Josh Giddey continues to get it done in all areas, and he’s an exciting rookie to watch that stuffs the sheet almost like a young Jimmy Butler but he is inconsistent, however I like his price tag on both sites here today and the matchup is great for him here, he should thrive in this matchup. The last guy I would have any sort of real interest in on a big slate is Lu Dort, he’s a GPP only guy due to his volatility as well, but we know he has a ceiling but it comes out once every 10 games.

5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

4-star play: Darius Bazley, Kevin Porter Jr., Christian Wood, Josh Giddey

Deeper Value: Jalen Green, Lu Dort, Alpherun Sengun

GPP Sleeper: Christian Wood

Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

Starting with the Mavericks, they are kind of in disarray right now, as Luka Doncic has already been ruled out here tonight so this shakes up this whole Mavericks team.  Kristaps Porzingis is back here, and I usually fade him but I don’t think you can tonight as he’ll be their #1 option on offense with Doncic out. Dorian Finney-Smith could do well in a game environment like this, but the biggest piece I want here is Jalen Brunson as he has emerged as the clear #2 and he’ll see a huge usage boost here tonight as he should start and play a ton of minutes. Tim Hardaway is in play for GPPs as well but he is very scoring dependent, so your options are pretty slim on this Mavericks team from a fantasy perspective even with Luka out.

From the Suns, they’re generally not a team that is fantasy friendly, and tonight should be the case again as I won’t be heavy on them at all, especially as this game could get ugly with Luka out. Devin Booker will be a GPP guy for me, as he hasn’t really has only had 1-2 ceiling games so far, but that will likely be the case as long as CP3 is healthy and taking all those assists he used to get. Chris Paul has had a few games over 50 FPs this season and he is my preferred option of the two and he draws the better matchup going up against Brunson. DeAndre Ayton is doubtful again in this game which opens up the door for Javale McGee has been a solid FPPM producer off the bench if you want to get deep, and Frank Kaminsky is also viable here, but its been a coinflip the past few games as to who is going to have the big game. Then you can round this team out with GPP darts in guys like Mikal Bridges and Jae Crowder if you really want to get frisky, of the two I would really only play Bridges as he has way more upside.

5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Jalen Brunson

4-star play: Devin Booker, Chris Paul, Tim Hardaway

Deeper Value: Mikal Bridges, Jae Crowder, Javale McGee, Frank Kaminsky

GPP Sleeper: Tim Hardaway

Chicago Bulls @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 221

Vegas Spread: Por -2.5

Starting with the Bulls, their leader has become Zach LaVine as he has been a model of consistency so far this year, he gets a solid matchup here and is very much in play as this Portland team is a mess defensively, he’s my favorite option on the Bulls tonight. DeMar Derozan has also started to take over offensively as his usage is up big time from the past few games including a huge game last time out. Nikola Vucevic has also been solid, but he’s been ruled out with COVID here, so we’ll have some value open up in the form of either Tony Bradley or Alize Johnson, I’ll want the one who starts here tonight, Johnson hasn’t been getting run, but Bradley hasn’t been exactly setting the world on fire either. Those are the main guys you’ll want here, but Alex Caruso is also in play here in a good matchup coming off the bench.

Now for the Blazers, the obvious play here is going to be Damian Lillard but he is a GTD again here tonight, however, he played last game so I think he’ll suit up here. If he is indeed out, then CJ McCollum is going to be the guy you want to target as he’ll take up a ton of that usage. Jusuf Nurkic has a great matchup here as well, as the Bulls frontcourt is a dumpster fire right now. Norman Powell has also been shooting well, and they’ll need him again tonight as he should see plenty of open looks here, he is a GTD tonight as well though, so you’ll really need to keep an eye on news here. You can round out your cheaper GPP options on this Blazer team with guys like Robert Covington or Anfernee Simons as well especially if you think this game gets out of hand. Simons is a guy I’ll be targeting heavily if Dame is gonna miss this game.

5-star play: Zach LaVine, DeMar Derozan

4-star play: Damian Lillard, CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic

Deeper Value: Robert Covington, Anfernee Simons, Tony Bradley

GPP Sleeper: Alex Caruso, Anfernee Simons
