11/16 NBA DFS Full Court Press

Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Steve aka @Mutt18 on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. We also have NEW pricing options, where you can sign up for WEEKLY access as opposed to be committed for a full month, so you have no excuse to try us out! With that said, let’s get it started!

Golden State Warriors @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 221

Vegas Spread: Bkn -3

Starting with the Warriors, Stephen Curry has been on an absolute tear to start this year, and the Nets are a dumpster fire defensively so this could be another ceiling game for him. Jordan Poole has also stepped up big time here, but he is scoring dependent so he’s gonna be a GPP only play for me tonight. Kevon Looney has seen an increase in minutes but he might be a matchup based fade here as the Nets and Warriors could both play small. Draymond Green has also been playing very well, and he’s been fantastic especially at his price on FanDuel and the Warriors could go small here. For value plays, Nemanja Bjelica and Gary Payton have been playing some solid minutes off the bench as well.

Now for the Nets, so far they’ve been a pretty easy team to predict, as Kevin Durant is gonna be the main guy there as long as he is in town. Kyrie has still not seen the floor which obviously also boosts the usage of James Harden, however, we have not seen a ceiling game from him so far this year, but the price continues to drop to where he is very playable. Both have favorable matchups here tonight as the Warriors are horrible defensively especially against guards and you have the Durant revenge game as well. Outside of those main 2 guys it is a free for all, as Joe Harris plays solid minutes but doesn’t get a lot of usage, but he did get hurt last game so that is something to keep an eye on. LaMarcus Aldridge has decent games from time to time as well so he’s in play for GPPs. Patty Mills started the 2nd half for Harris last game, so I like him in GPPs again here as he should see an increased role as well if Harris is out.

5-star play: Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant

4-star play: James Harden, Jordan Poole, Draymond Green, Patty Mills

Deeper Value: Kevon Looney, Nemanja Bjelica, LaMarcus Aldridge

GPP Sleeper: Patty Mills

Philadelphia 76ers @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: Uth -9

Joel Embiid will be out again here, so that means you can fire up Andre Drummond once again, even at his increased price, I like him in GPPs tonight as people will be off him due to the last two games where he kind of dudded.  Tyrese Maxey and Seth Curry as well as both have been playing north of 35 minutes and Maxey has been on a tear over the past few games as well, really like him tonight. Tobias Harris is also back here, and he should be a full go tonight and he’s a phenomenal play especially on FanDuel, not as high at that price on DraftKings. Georges Niang has really stepped it up off the bench as well but with Harris back it limits his upside. Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton have also been decent, but Harris being back really kills a lot of their upside as well, but you can still take a flier on them in GPPs.

Now for the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been on a tear over the past few games, even with the Jazz at full strength, and this is a solid spot for him again here tonight, really like him in GPPs. Mike Conley has been his usual solid self, but he’s not someone I’m going out of my way to roster in this spot. Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles are both solid GPP fliers here as well going up against Philly’s 2nd unit. Rudy Gobert is another guy who has been really solid this year, and he gets an easier matchup here with Embiid out, really solid play in all formats on a small slate. Then you can round this team out with GPP guys like Bojan Bogdanovic and Royce O’Neale who are both solid role guys who play good minutes but aren’t high usage, however O’Neale has seen an increase in usage over the past few games but the price has also increased.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Andre Drummond, Tobias Harris

4-star play: Mike Conley, Tyrese Maxey, Seth Curry, Rudy Gobert

Deeper Value: Bojan Bogdanovic, Shake Milton, Royce O’Neale

GPP Sleeper: Shake Milton, Georges Niang

San Antonio Spurs @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: 220

Vegas Spread: Lac -7

Starting with the Spurs, my favorite play here is going to be Derrick White, as he comes at too much of a discount from Murray with similar upside. Love that price on FanDuel. Dejounte Murray is also in a fine spot, but you have to pay up more for him here but he should be worth it, if you can afford him tonight, do it, he should be low owned and could go for 50+ FPs in this spot as the Clippers have been getting cashed by opposing guards. Keldon Johnson looks like he’s taken a nice step forward as well, but he can be a bit scoring dependent at times and he has a tougher matchup here as he’ll likely see a lot of PG13 here tonight. Jakob Poeltl looks like he’ll be out again here as well, so if you want to get really deep you can take a shot on Drew Eubanks as they’ll need his size tonight, but I’ll also have some shares of Thad Young as him and Eubanks have been splitting those Poeltl minutes. Just keep an eye on news as it looks like Poeltl will be out but it is not confirmed.

Now for the Clippers, as long as Kawhi is out the main target is going to be Paul George as he has elite usage and 60+ upside especially in a game like this one if it stays close as the Spurs have just been a dumpster fire defensively and the Clips are already heavily favored in this game. Ivica Zubac‘s minutes have been trending in the wrong direction, so he’ll likely be a fade for me here, but I do have some interest in Isaiah Hartenstein as it looks like he has leapfrogged him in the minutes department, but he is not consistent, but you’ll need to get different on a 3 gamer and he’s a great way to do that. Terance Mann has had his ups and downs coming off the bench, but at his price point he’s a nice value option especially in the hammer game, but his consistency is just flat out horrible, so he’ll be a GPP only option moving forward even on a 3 gamer. Eric Bledsoe and Reggie Jackson are basically a coin flip at this point as well as to who is going to have the better game, but I don’t have a ton of interest in either tonight, but Bledsoe has really been picking it up over the last few games and I think he has more upside than Jackson.

5-star play: Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, Paul George

4-star play: Keldon Johnson, Eric Bledsoe, Reggie Jackson

Deeper Value: Thad Young, Drew Eubanks, Terance Mann

GPP Sleeper: Isaiah Hartenstein
