Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Boston Celtics @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 209.5

Vegas Spread: Bkn -13.5

We’ll kick today off with an island game that starts at 2:30 ET, so if you’re looking to get exposure to this one you’ll have to play the showdown slates or the All-Day slate on FanDuel. Starting with Brooklyn, it’s pretty simple as to who you want right now and it’s mainly just Kevin Durant and James Harden. They’re both in pretty good form hovering around 50 fantasy points per game over their last five. On a showdown slate you’ll have no choice but to get at least one of them, so flip a coin, they’re both solid options here. As for the rest of the Nets, LaMarcus Aldridge has produced enough to be viable in the frontcourt especially on a short slate. Blake Griffin has at least 26 DraftKings points in back-to-back games as well, keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed, NBA injuries/resting can be odd on Sunday’s and if one of those guys were to sit the other guy would be in for more minutes. Then you can round the Nets out with GPP flyers like Joe Harris and Bruce Brown. From the Raptors, it sounds like Pascal Siakam is going to make his season debut in this one. I would expect him to be on a minutes limit to start off, so I don’t know that you want to get to him a whole lot here at this price tag. If for some reason we do get confirmation that he’s not on a restriction, he would be a strong option here. Siakam being back will muddy the water a bit in this frontcourt for minutes on guys like Khem Birch and Precious Achiuwa, but I would think Scottie Barnes minutes are pretty safe at this point. Speaking of Barnes, he’s a solid play as well as OG Anunoby in the frontcourt. Fred VanVleet will continue to play a ton of minutes here and is a solid option as well, he may lose some usage going forward with Siakam out there but he proved he can get it done with Siakam on the court last year, so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Gary Trent Jr. will continue to play a ton of minutes as well and makes for a good mid-range option. Lastly, Khem Birch is an interesting value option even with Siakam back, I would expect him to play enough minutes here to be viable at this price tag.

5-star play: Kevin Durant, James Harden

4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, Fred VanVleet, OG Anunoby, Scottie Barnes, Gary Trent Jr.

Deeper Value: Khem Birch

GPP Sleeper: Joe Harris, Bruce Brown, Pascal Siakam

Milwaukee Bucks @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 220.0

Vegas Spread: Mil -1.5

Onto the main slate, we’ll get started with the Milwaukee Bucks as they head to Washington. The Bucks will be without Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, and Donte DiVincenzo again here and Grayson Allen comes in as questionable, so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for an update on him and who would step up for the Bucks if he were to miss. Giannis Antetokounmpo looks like one of the best raw options on the slate here, the Wizards won’t have any sort of answer for him. Jrue Holiday was someone I had interest in last time out until we found out he wasn’t in the starting lineup. I would think he’s limited until he gets back in with the starters. If news comes out that he’s back in today, I’ll go right back to him, with Middleton and Lopez off the court last season he had a 27.9% usage rate and 1.34 fantasy points per minute. Bobby Portis has seen at least 22 minutes in back-to-back minutes and should continue to be around this mark with Lopez and Middleton out, he’s a nice GPP option, as he’s normally a pretty nice point-per-minute guy. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal played just 27 minutes last time out as they blew out the Grizzlies so he lost some blowout run. I have no issue going right back to him here in a pace-up spot for the Wizards. Spencer Dinwiddie has had back-to-back down games and I just don’t like the price tag on him enough to be viable for me. The same can be said for Kyle Kuzma who could be getting hurt by Daniel Gafford being back and Montrezl Harrell playing well. I don’t think you need to get to either Harrell or Kuzma at their price tags. I do have some interest in Gafford however, he played 23 minutes last time out on his way to 27 DraftKings points and is just $4.4k on DraftKings tonight.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Bradley Beal

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, Daniel Gafford

Deeper Value: Daniel Gafford

GPP Sleeper: Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen, Spencer Dinwiddie, Montrezl Harrell

Indiana Pacers @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 224.5

Vegas Spread: Sac -1.5

Starting with the Pacers, tell me if you’ve heard this before, but Malcolm Brogdon comes in as questionable again here. Keep an eye on the Breaking News Channel for updates on him and the rest of this team, as this will be a good spot for DFS due to how little these teams play defense and how fast they play. I had a ton of interest in Caris LeVert last time out due to his minutes being elevated and will go right back to him here, he just shot poorly last time out going 0-8 from the three-point line. He’s too cheap if he’s going to keep playing 30+ minutes in this spot. Domantas Sabonis has had a couple of down games as of late but gets an elite bounce-back spot here against a weak Kings interior. Myles Turner is going to continue to be a tournament-only option for me due to his volatility, but this is a great matchup for him down low. Then you can round out the Pacers with TJ McConnell and Chris Duarte in tournaments but would see a boost if Brogdon were to miss again. From the Kings, I’ll keep using this stat until he breaks it, but De’Aaron Fox has been held under 40 DraftKings points in each game since the opener. He’s simply overpriced right now and I’ll wait for something to give when it comes to his production and price tag. Harrison Barnes continues to produce and is a guy I’ll have interest in in all formats due to his consistency. Richaun Holmes dropped a 50 burger on the Hornets last time out but did get a price boost here, I’m still probably okay getting to him but more of a secondary option at this price tag. Then you can round this team out with GPP options in Tyrese Haliburton and Buddy Hield, with a sprinkle of Davion Mitchell as a value option.

5-star play: Caris LeVert, Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Myles Turner, Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes

Deeper Value: Davion Mitchell, Moe Harkless

GPP Sleeper: TJ McConnell, Chris Duarte, De’Aaron Fox, Tyrese Haliburton, Buddy Hield

Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 207.0

Vegas Spread: Nyk -7.5

Starting with the Cavs, Lauri Markkanen and Kevin Love will continue to be out for this team which opens up minutes at the wing for guys like Cedi Osman and Dean Wade who we saw start last time out. Wade isn’t a huge point-per-minute guy, so he’s more of a secondary value guy but still, at $3.4k on DraftKings he’s a solid value if nothing better opens up on this slate. If they change things up and give Osman the start, I’d be all over him. He has at least 18 DraftKings points in his last four games and would make for an elite value play. Evan Mobley has been held under 30 FanDuel points in back-to-back games but is playing massive minutes with Markkanen and Love out, I have no issue going right back to him here. The same can be said for Jarrett Allen, he has at least 55 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. Then we can round out this team with the guards, Darius Garland is probably the guy you’ll want for cash games while Collin Sexton has been more volatile o start the season, but I do think there’s some tournament upside at these price tags. From the Knicks, Julius Randle was a guy I was all over against the Bucks and he had a healthy stat line. This game won’t be as fast-paced, but still think you can get to him as a secondary option. RJ Barrett has been in good form as of late with at least 33 DraftKings points in four straight games and playing a ton of minutes. He’s priced right where he should be which is the issue, more of a secondary option here as well. I liked Kemba Walker as a GPP dart against the Bucks last time out and boy did he disappoint. I don’t have an issue taking a chance on him GPPs again here, but not touching him in cash games. The same can be said for the rest of this team with guys like Mitchell Robinson and Evan Fournier, but I’m not sure you need to get to them on this slate.

5-star play: Evan Mobley, Jarrett Allen

4-star play: Collin Sexton, Darius Garland, Julius Randle, RJ Barrett

Deeper Value: Dean Wade, Cedi Osman

GPP Sleeper: Evan Fournier, Mitchell Robinson, Kemba Walker

Utah Jazz @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 211.5

Vegas Spread: Utah -12.5

Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell returned last time out and didn’t miss a beat, he dropped 51.5 FanDuel points… and his price is really juicy over there today at $8k where he’s $9.3k on DraftKings. Mitchell being back pretty much takes me off Jordan Clarkson and Joe Ingles at their current price tags. Mike Conley is still in play however in a nice matchup against a terrible Magic squad. Rudy Gobert should be able to do whatever he wants against this Magic frontcourt, I like him as a cash option here. Then you can round out the Jazz with Bojan Bogdanovic in tournaments in hopes he gets hot from behind the arch. From the Magic, Cole Anthony comes into this one as questionable so keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for status updates on him. Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. are going to have a tough go of it down low against Rudy Gobert and company, I’ll probably wait for a better spot to go back to these guys… although the price tag on Carter Jr. is intriguing. Then Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs are fine GPP darts in this one but would see an increase in interest if Cole Anthony were to miss, they would see a bump in usage and opportunity.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell (FanDuel)

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell (DraftKings), Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley, Cole Anthony, Wendell Carter Jr.

Deeper Value: Terrence Ross

GPP Sleeper: Jordan Clarkson, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mo Bamba, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs

San Antonio Spurs @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 212.0

Vegas Spread: Sas -4.0

Starting with the Spurs, Jakob Poeltl will continue to be out here and we saw Drew Eubanks get the start in his place the last two games. I would expect more of the same here, but Eubanks did get a price bump to over $4k on both sites. I don’t know if he has the minutes upside to really be a great play at this price tag, so more of a GPP guy in hopes that he gets that extended run we’d be looking for here. Thaddeus Young was another guy who has seen additional run with Poeltl out. He now has at least 27 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and got his minutes up to 26 last time out, I like him for tournaments here. Dejounte Murray has at least 51 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and gets a nice matchup here with a terrible defensive team. Derrick White is more of the cash point guard due to his consistency and a guy you can get to here as well. Lastly, Keldon Johnson showed what he can do with his increase in usage last time out, but I just don’t know if the consistency is there with him at this point for me to have a ton of interest. That said, due to the matchup he’s a nice tournament option at the very least. From the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has at least 45 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and is a solid option here, I’ve been targeting point guards against the Spurs for about a year and a half now. Josh Giddey is a guy I’ve been playing a ton of this season, he gets it done in every stat for DFS purposes which gives him a really nice floor and ceiling. He’s too cheap especially on FanDuel where you get extra points for blocks and steals. I have a hard time trusting the rest of this Thunder team, so guys like Darius Bazley and Lu Dort are deeper tournament guys.

5-star play: Dejounte Murray, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

4-star play: Thaddeus Young, Keldon Johnson, Derrick White, Josh Giddey

Deeper Value: Drew Eubanks

GPP Sleeper: Thaddeus Young, Darius Bazley, Lu Dort

Houston Rockets @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 219.0

Vegas Spread: GSW -12.5

Starting with the Rockets, Christian Wood has seen his price get to the $9k point on DraftKings but still around the $8k marker on FanDuel. He’s a solid option here, but the Warriors can be tricky against big men as they have no issue going small with their lack of frontcourt size at the moment. Kevin Porter Jr. has been all over the place this season but I do like this spot in what should be a pretty fast game. The same can be said for Jalen Green, both of these guys are tournament options. Jae’sean Tate is interesting here, if the Warriors do choose to force the Rockets to go small, he could see some run at the 4/5 and see his rebound equity go up. You can probably come off Alperen Sengun now that he’s back on the bench with Daniel Theis back, but Theis is interesting at sub $4k on DraftKings. He played 32 minutes last time out and dropped 28 DraftKings points. From the Warriors, the price tag on Steph Curry is just going to be hard to get to for me here. He’s proven he can pay this salary off but he has under 42 DraftKings points in three straight games and at this price really needs to get you close to 60 fantasy points for you to feel great about it. I liked Draymond Green quite a bit last time out and he had a pretty average game, I have no issue going right back to him in this spot. Then you can round this team out with tournament guys like Jordan Poole and Andrew Wiggins in what should be a fast-paced game.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green, Jae’sean Tate, Daniel Theis, Steph Curry, Draymond Green

Deeper Value: Daniel Theis

GPP Sleeper: Christian Wood, Kevin Porter Jr., Jalen Green, Daniel Theis, Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, Andrew Wiggins

Charlotte Hornets @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: 223.5

Vegas Spread: Lac -6.0

Starting with the Hornets, LaMelo Ball has been all over the place this season but has at least 45 FanDuel points in three of his last four games. Miles Bridges is a guy I do like and someone I feel is getting overlooked to start the year. Figures the time I land on him last time out he has his worst game of the season, but I think you can go right back to him here. If you know me by now, I can never get Gordon Hayward right, but he makes sense for tournaments in this spot. Terry Rozier carried over his poor shooting night from the Warriors game and now is shooting 2-14 from three over his last two games. That will regress back to the norm at some point and think he looks solid at this price tag. It sounds like PJ Washington is going to miss this game so maybe we see some more minutes out of Mason Plumlee and spread out a little more to those bigger wings. Then you can round this team out with Kelly Oubre who’s minutes are trending in the wrong direction, he’s not playable for me right now. From the Clippers,  Paul George has at least 53 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and gets a nice matchup with the Hornets here. Reggie Jackson followed up his 50 point game with a 31 point fantasy night which isn’t terrible. We know he’s going to play a ton of minutes and is a solid option here. Nicolas Batum should continue to start for Marcus Morris and has been performing well, he’s not a guy I generally get to but it’s hard to ignore his production over the past three games. Ivica Zubac was a guy I liked a lot last time out as he came off 34 minutes and followed that up with another 31 minutes last time out. I have no issue going right back to him here at this price tag in hopes he gets similar run. Then you can round this team out with GPP guys like Terance Mann, Eric Bledsoe, and Luke Kennard in the backcourt.

5-star play: Paul George

4-star play: LaMelo Ball, Gordon Hayward, Terry Rozier, Miles Bridges, Reggie Jackson, Nicolas Batum, Ivica Zubac

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Terry Rozier, Mason Plumlee, Terance Mann, Eric Bledsoe, Luke Kennard

I wanted to give a quick shoutout to VIP member “GhostfaceKillaa” on his $30k win last night. A pivot to Curry off the chalky Doncic was the key for him, congrats man!
