Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Mike aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Brooklyn Nets @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

We’ll get the slate started with the Nets, not only will Joe Harris be out but now Bruce Brown will miss this game as well. We were pretty heavy on Patty Mills all week last week with Joe Harris out and is a guy you can go back to here. His price has come up but has at least 29 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. Kevin Durant should return here meaning we won’t need to lock in James Harden like we did last time out, but both are solid options again here. Lastly, this frontcourt is a mess between LaMarcus Aldridge and Blake Griffin. On a big slate like tonight, I imagine we’ll have better choices. From the Cavaliers, it sounds like Jarrett Allen will make his return here and gets a revenge game against his old squad. I want to make sure he’s not on any sort of minutes limit, but he’s a nice option if so. With Collin Sexton now done for the season, it will be up to Darius Garland and Ricky Rubio to run this backcourt, they’re pretty evenly priced here and are solid secondary options. Kevin Love is someone I’ll like for GPPs as well with Evan Mobley and Cedi Osman out. You have to think his minutes floor is 20 minutes and anything beyond that is a bonus, but he’s been a nice per minute producer on the season. Lastly, Lauri Markkanen should return here for the Cavs as well which may hurt Love’s minutes a bit, but with Mobley and Osman out there are minutes to go around. If Markkanen isn’t on any sort of limitation he would be interesting for GPPs as well.

5-star play: James Harden, Kevin Durant

4-star play: Patty Mills, Darius Garland, Ricky Rubio, Jarrett Allen

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: LaMarcus Aldridge, Blake Griffin, Kevin Love, Lauri Markkanen

Charlotte Hornets @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 215.5

Vegas Spread: Was -3.5

Starting with the Hornets, LaMelo Ball has been in great form as of late and has at least 55 DraftKings points in three of his last four games and playing heavy minutes. His price is a lot better on FanDuel but in this matchup, he’s in play on both sites. Miles Bridges bounced back nicely last time out and is another guy that’s playing as many minutes as he can handle. I like him for all formats again here. Gordon Hayward seems to be hitting a bit of a stride as well, I can never get him right, so I’ll leave him for GPPs. Terry Rozier has been pretty volatile as of late and a guy I’ll save for GPPs until he shows some consistency. Then you can round this Hornets team out with Mason Plumlee and Kelly Oubre Jr. for GPPs, Plumlee just put up a 33.75 fantasy outing in this matchup last time these two met. From Washington, I like getting back to Bradley Beal here. I was down on him going into the last game against a tough Miami defense, but this is a nice bounceback spot. Spencer Dinwiddie is still too expensive for me, he’s priced as if Beal is out, and well… he’s not. You can make a case for Montrezl Harrell and Kyle Kuzma here in a good matchup, but on a slate of this size, I think we’ll find better options. The same can be said for Daniel Gafford, although Gafford dropped 38.25 DraftKings points in this matchup earlier this season.

5-star play: LaMelo Ball (FanDuel), Bradley Beal

4-star play: LaMelo Ball (DraftKings), Miles Bridges, Gordon Hayward

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Mason Plumlee, Terry Rozier, Kelly Oubre Jr., Montrezl Harrell, Kyle Kuzma, Daniel Gafford

Houston Rockets @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

Starting with the Rockets, Kevin Porter Jr. has missed their last two games and comes into this one as questionable. Keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates surrounding his status, but I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s in for the sake of this article. Jalen Green has gotten big minutes with Porter out over the last two games but I wish he would do more with them, he’ll continue to be in the GPP only category for me. Christian Wood had a nice bounceback game last time out against the Knicks and is a guy I like again here. The Celtics are one of the worst rebounding teams in the league. Jae’sean Tate has at least 31 DraftKings points in back-to-back games and is an interesting option at this price tag, but not a sexy play by any means. Lastly, Eric Gordon has been solid as of late as well getting big minutes, but we know how life trusting Gordon goes, so more of a GPP guy for me. From the Celtics, Jaylen Brown and Robert Williams are expected to return here which is going to hurt the productivity in the rest of the lineup. That being said, Jayson Tatum has been in great form going for at least 55 DraftKings points in three straight games. The price is up on him and with Williams and Brown back I’ll likely be underweight but the matchup is nice. Al Horford will take a hit for me as well but is another guy who has been in good form as of late and I love attacking this Rockets frontcourt with big men. Then you can round the Celtics out with Dennis Schroeder and Marcus Smart as GPP options. Smart has been in good form as of late after starting the season a bit slow. It’s another case where they’re priced as if Brown were out again, so at the moment they’re probably a bit to overpriced for me here.

5-star play: Christian Wood, Jayson Tatum

4-star play: Jae’sean Tate, Eric Gordon, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, Al Horford, Dennis Schroeder

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Eric Gordon, Jalen Green, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams, Marcus Smart

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: NA

Vegas Spread: NA

Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander comes into this game as questionable and will be news we will need from this team. Keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates surrounding him, as a bunch of minutes and usage would open up in this offense. I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s good to go here, but obviously something we’ll be monitoring as we get closer to lock. He hasn’t been in the best form but I’ll like attacking Trae Young defense with him here. Josh Giddey now has at least 30 FanDuel points in four straight games, and a guy I have no issue with him in cash games due to his ability to stuff the stat sheet. Then you can round this team out with Darius Bazley and Lu Dort as secondary tournament pieces. Also, Jeremiah Robinson-Earl is an interesting value option if we don’t have anything open up on the slate, he has at least 26 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. From the Hawks, it’s hard not to like the spot for Trae Young in a great matchup. He’s been held under 40 DraftKings points in each of his last three games but has big upside. Just as I was about to start trusting the minutes on Clint Capela they get cut and he played 24 last game. He did get into foul trouble which played a role in it and I’m going to assume that they’ll come back up again here. I have no issue with him in all formats in a nice matchup. John Collins has been in good form as of late as well, but probably more of a GPP guy for me due to his volatility. Bogdan Bogdanovic comes into this one as questionable as well and is news we’ll need. If he were to miss, guys like Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter, and Danilo Gallinari would become even more viable. I’ll have interest in Reddish and Huerter regardless due to their recent games and minutes, but Bogdanovic being out would strengthen those plays even more.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Josh Giddey, Trae Young, Clint Capela, John Collins, Cam Reddish, Kevin Huerter

Deeper Value: Jeremiah Robinson-Earl, Cam Reddish

GPP Sleeper: Darius Bazley, Lu Dort, John Collins, Danilo Gallinari

Indiana Pacers @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 208.0

Vegas Spread: Chi -3.5

Starting with the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis had a nice bounceback game last time out and still only played 22 minutes again for the second straight game. This time it was due to a blowout, but the production on him has certainly been concerning over the last couple of weeks. I’m fine with him in GPPs, but I think we can find better cash options. Malcolm Brogdon was victim of the blowout as well having a good chunk of his minutes cut as well, I’ll have quite a bit of interest in him here especially on DraftKings where he’s just $7.3k. I say it every time with the Pacers, but we know the story with Myles Turner by now, he’s a fine GPP option. Caris LeVert just isn’t a guy I’ll have interest in right now, he’s overpriced for his current production. Then you can round the Pacers out with TJ McConnell has a GPP guy but I doubt we’ll need him on this slate. From the Bulls, Nikola Vucevic will continue to be out here and both Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have been in pretty good form. DeRozan may be playing the best basketball of his career right now. He has a 33.5% usage rate and 1.27 fantasy points per minute with Vucevic off the court this season. LaVine had a down game last night but I have no issue going right back to the well on him here. He has a 34.7% usage rate and 1.22 fantasy points per minute with Vucevic out. I like both their prices, particularly LaVine, more on FanDuel as they’re both priced up over $9k on DraftKings. Alex Caruso should continue to play big minutes for the Bulls as well and in a great matchup with the Pacers makes sense in this price range. Then Lonzo Ball and Tony Bradley are fine GPP guys, Bradley will continue to start for Vucevic, but he hasn’t really done much of anything with the opportunity.

5-star play: Malcolm Brogdon (DraftKings), DeMar DeRozan, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, Lonzo Ball, Alex Caruso

Deeper Value: Tony Bradley

GPP Sleeper: TJ McConnell, Lonzo Ball, Myles Turner

Orlando Magic @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -12.5

We saw this matchup last time out, so we have something to go off of here. Starting with the Magic, Cole Anthony did miss this game last time out and comes in as questionable here. I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s in, but be sure to keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates. He has been one of my favorite guys to watch this season, he has massive upside at a price range that you generally don’t see. He’ll have his hands full with Jrue Holiday and this Milwaukee defense tonight, but I’ll have some GPP exposure at the very least. Mo Bamba and Wendell Carter Jr. have been priced similarly as of late, but Bamba is starting to break free from Carter Jr. That being said, I do like taking the discount on Carter Jr., he’s been the more consistent producer this year. Then Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs are nice secondary options in this one, Wagner had a dud last time out, but he’s been good enough this season for me to overlook that game. From the Bucks, Khris Middleton is going to continue to be a solid option in all formats. He really needs to shoot the lights out in order to hit his ceiling with Giannis in there, but he’s just so consistent that I think you can get there in all formats. Giannis Antetokounmpo just continues to crush everyone in his path, he now has at least 60 FanDuel points in three straight games and the Magic will have no answer for him here. Jrue Holiday has been a consistent option as of late and I have no issue with him in any formats at his current price tag. Bobby Portis will continue to start at the five with Brook Lopez continued to be out and is a solid GPP play but his price has finally caught up to him. Then you can round this team out with Grayson Allen as a tournament option.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Cole Anthony, Franz Wagner, Jalen Suggs, Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis

Deeper Value: Franz Wagner

GPP Sleeper: Mo Bamba, Bobby Portis, Grayson Allen

I wanted to give a quick shoutout to VIP member “GhostfaceKillaa” on his $30k win earlier in the season. A pivot to Curry off the chalky Doncic was the key for him, congrats man!

Minnesota Timberwolves @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 214.0

Vegas Spread: Min -2.5

Starting with the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns scored 54 DraftKings points in this matchup earlier this season, he’s a nice option at under $10k on both sites. Then we get to D’Angelo Russell and Anthony Edwards who are kind of eating into each other’s usage right now. They’ve both been consistently in the 30-40 fantasy point range as of late, but neither has really popped off for a massive game. I would set a rule in the Domination Station to not pair them together. That said, they’re both solid options if you’re looking to get one or the other. Lastly, Patrick Beverley’s price tag is climbing a bit, so I’ll likely be even with the field on him, but he’s been producing nicely. From the Pelicans, Devonte’ Graham comes into this one as questionable after missing their last two games. I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s out here, but keep an eye on the Breaking News Feed for updates as always. Tomas Satoransky has started for Graham in the past two games but hasn’t really done much in terms of DFS production. I would prefer to go to Kira Lewis Jr. off the bench, he’s the much better point-per-minute guy and the minutes have been there for him as well with at least 23 in back-to-back games. Brandon Ingram is just not on my radar right now, he’s overpriced for the production he’s putting up, I’ll go ahead and make him prove it to me before I go back to him. I do love Jonas Valanciunas here however, the Wolves interior is incredibly soft and Valanciunas is averaging 56.8 DraftKings points per game in two games against the Wolves this season. Josh Hart was a guy I liked a ton last time out and he had a big old dud, if Graham is out again I’ll go right back to him in a great matchup. Then you can round this team out with Nickeil Alexander-Walker, he’s going to be volatile, but he has elite upside for GPPs.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Jonas Valanciunas

4-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards., Josh Hart, Patrick Beverley

Deeper Value: Tomas Satoransky, Kira Lewis Jr.

GPP Sleeper: Brandon Ingram, Nickeil Alexander-Walker

Phoenix Suns @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Pho -6.0

Starting with the Suns, this team generally isn’t one that I get a ton of due to how spread out their fantasy production can be. That being said, I do like targeting guards against this Spurs team, so Chris Paul and Devin Booker are firmly in play for tournaments at the very least. I do like Deandre Ayton as well, he’s been in great form with at least 34 DraftKings points in seven straight games. Outside of those three, it’s just GPP guys in Jae Crowder and Mikal Bridges on a full slate for me. From the Spurs, Dejounte Murray came back down to Earth last time out but has at least 60 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. This is a tougher matchup, but it’s tough not to like his upside in tournaments. I want to like Derrick White more than I think I can here, his price has come way down and he’s going to play nice minutes, but the production has just fallen off since the start of the season. Keldon Johnson is a fine tournament option, we know the upside is there on him but it’s not consistent upside. Then you can round this team out with Jakob Poeltl, he returned last time out and played 15 minutes, I would think he gets up over 20 minutes here but on a 10-game slate, I don’t think we’ll need him here.

5-star play: None

4-star play: Chris Paul, Devin Booker, Deandre Ayton, Dejounte Murray, Derrick White, Keldon Johnson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jae Crowder, Mikal Bridges, Keldon Johnson, Jakob Poeltl

Memphis Grizzlies @ Uta Jazz

Vegas Total: 222.5

Vegas Spread: Utah -9.5

Starting with the Grizzlies,  it sounds like Dillon Brooks is going to miss this game which will open up a good amount of minutes on the wing for Memphis here. When Brooks was out earlier in the season we saw Desmond Bane and De’Anthony Melton take a lot of the production but with Melton out here we could be looking at more Kyle Anderson as well. I was all over Bane last time the Grizzlies played and he dropped 29 DraftKings points. I don’t think the price came up enough on him either, I’ll have no issue going right back to him here. Bane has a 28.1% usage rate and 1.01 fantasy points per minute with Melton and Brooks off the court this season. Ja Morant came screaming down to Earth last time out, but lost a handful of minutes due to a blowout with the Wolves, I have no issue going right back to him under $10k. The spot for Jaren Jackson Jr. is as scary as it gets for him, I have no issue with him for GPPs, but man he doesn’t know how to stay out of foul trouble. If he comes in with a reasonable ownership projection, I’ll get some exposure for sure. Lastly, Steven Adams has been frustrating to roster all season, he’ll be just a GPP value center option for me here, as they’ll need his size to deal with Gobert down low. From the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell has been in fine form as of late but I think he’s priced right about where he should be. He does have the ceiling to get you there at this price in tournaments, but in cash and single entry, I’ll probably go somewhere else. The same can be said for Rudy Gobert, he finally got a price boost and is over $8k on both sites. He’s a fine cash option however due to how consistent he is. Then Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic are fine secondary options. Conley is probably your cash guy where Bogdanovic is more of your GPP type play due to his shooting dependency. You can throw Jordan Clarkson and Royce O’Neale in that GPP category as well.

5-star play: Desmond Bane

4-star play: Ja Morant, Kyle Anderson, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Mike Conley

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Steven Adams, Kyle Anderson, Jaren Jackson Jr., Bojan Bogdanovic, Jordan Clarkson, Royce O’Neale

Philadelphia 76ers @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 218.5

Vegas Spread: Sac -2.5

We’ll round the slate out starting with the Sixers as they head into Sacramento. It’s the same old story for the Sixers with Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons continued to be out. I did have more interest in Andre Drummond last game than I’ve had in the past week or so and I actually don’t hate him again here, but he’s GPP only due to the volatility. Tobias Harris looked good last time out and is a guy I love with Embiid and Simmons out especially in a great matchup like this one. Tyrese Maxey looked great last time out where he went for 49 DraftKings points, I can’t say I love the price tag but he just continues to produce. Then you can round out the Sixers with GPP guys like Seth Curry and Shake Milton. From the Kings, I really like the price tag on De’Aaron Fox on both sites. He’s in pretty terrible form over his last two games, but I like this matchup for him and we know the upside is still with him. I should mention that Luke Walton was fired over the weekend, so we could see some different rotations from the Kings, but I don’t think it will be anything substantial, at least right away. Harrison Barnes had a nice bounceback game last time out against the Jazz, I’ll never have an issue with him in cash games due to his consistency. I do like going back to Richaun Holmes as well, Drummond is pretty horrendous on defense and he should be able to take advantage. I like the price tag on Tyrese Haliburton as well and makes sense as a secondary option. Then you can round the Kings out with tournament guys in Buddy Hield and Chimezie Metu… I do like Metu a good amount as a value option.

5-star play: Tobias Harris, De’Aaron Fox

4-star play: Andre Drummond, Tyrese Maxey, Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, Tyrese Haliburton, Chimezie Metu

Deeper Value: Chimezie Metu

GPP Sleeper: Seth Curry, Shake Milton, Buddy Hield

NBA Lock of the Day: Malcolm Brogdon (DK – $7.3k; FD – $8.0k)

I’ll start by saying this lock of the day is probably more centered around DraftKings due to the price discount you’re getting on him. Brogdon has been in the mid-$8k range pretty much all season long, and out of nowhere, he comes in at $7.3k tonight. His minutes have been down over the last two games, but against the Hornets, the whole starting unit was benched, and then last time out he hit the bench early due to a blowout. It’s strictly a price play for me, I can’t say I love the matchup with the Bulls, but he can blow this price tag out of the water. At this point in the day, I would think he makes my core, but check out our VIP Cheat Sheets as we get closer to lock for staff picks on Core plays, 8x locks of the day, and tiers notes as well!
