Week 4 NFL WR-CB Match-up Breakdown:
Get your NFL DFS research rolling with this week’s match-up breakdown. We will take a look at a few guys that I think are in a great spot based on the match-ups along with a few guys that I might look to go underweight on.

***Disclaimer*** Realize that we have just 3 weeks of data to go off of this season. Teams are going to move guys around as they learn to attack match-ups. The numbers I will quote in this article reflect just the 3 weeks of action. Let’s dig into the week 4 match-ups and find guys to go overweight on guys to go underweight on!
3 Guys in great NFL Match-ups being overlooked (ownership % wise):
Donovan Peoples-Jones (CLE) vs Breshad Breeland: DPJ was in this article last week and saw a couple of targets early and then disappeared a bit. Everybody is going to look towards OBJ against the perimeter defenders of the Vikings. Breeland has allowed the 2nd most fantasy points to WR’s this season. Out of the CBs for the Vikings, DPJ will see Breeland the most as he lines up all over the place. We project him to be 0.5% on DK and 0.4% on FD this weekend.
Christian Kirk (ARI) vs Darious Williams: Kirk is coming off of a 7 for 104 game and has gone for 20+ DK points in 2 of the first 3 weeks. Why is he projected at only 1.6% on DK and 1.7% on FD this weekend? Hopkins draws potential shadow coverage from Ramsey (being reported that he will actually be shadowing, though he hasn’t been). Williams is being targeted on roughly 26% of his coverage snaps and I have seen some projections where Kirk actually receives a 10% target increase in this match-up. Williams has been targeted 36 times so far.
Will Fuller (MIA) vs Rock Ya-Sin: Fuller played his first NFL game of the season last week and saw 6 targets. I like that number to increase as he gets going in the offense. What stood out to me is that Ya-Sin is allowing an average depth of target (aDot) of over 13 yards. We know that big plays are Fuller’s specialty. I think those splash plays are worth more than the 1.4% on DK and 0.6% on FD that we have him projected at. I have seen some reports of Isaiah Rodgers being on Fuller this week and if that’s the case, Rodgers has been targeted on 29% of his defensive snaps so far.

2 Guys who we might be overlooking the match-up on:
Brandin Cooks (HOU) vs Tre’Davious White: We don’t have Cooks listed at extreme ownership by any stretch of the imagination. He sits at 5.4% on DK and 4.8% on FD. So why do I have him in this article? Because I think that’s still way too much Brandin Cooks if I am being honest. White is such a strong defender that I would prefer to not try and be fancy with Cooks. This one could blow up in my face based purely on volume but I am willing to go well under that % in my MME.
Cole Beasley (BUF) vs Desmond King: I was really shocked to see Beasley with such strong ownership projections. We have him projected to be 10.8% owned on both sites. King has been targeted on just 10% of his coverage routes this season. That tells us that teams prefer to attack them on the outside. Maybe people are chasing the 11 catches from last week but I expect that number to plummet as I take the under 14 targets.
As always I appreciate everyone who gave the article a read! Feel free to mix it up with me in our coaching forums as news breaks and lock approaches.
