Welcome to a brand new NBA season. We have a lot of changes this year in terms of where players are however the one thing that never changes are the injuries that happen.
The purpose for this article is to give you an early morning look at the injuries on the upcoming slate and how those players could impact your player pool. The most important thing to remember with this article is that while there is a lot of information here you will want to become a VIP Member for the most update and current information as this article will not change. A quick reminder here as we roll into the new season with so many changes to rosters some of the usual information such as usage will be difficult to grab. However once we get more games under the belt, this information is going to get much cleaner.
Hornets Vs Magic – 07:00
Hornets: Terry Rozier is Doubtful. PJ Washington is OUT!
Notes: We will likely see Rozier miss again and PJ Washington as he is already ruled out. This opens the door for the LaMelo to continue smashing along with Miles Bridges who has been phenomenal over the last couple games. Mason Plumlee should look to get a lot more minutes and did very well last time he was given this opportunity. Here are the guys I like based on this news:
- LaMelo Ball
- Mason Plumlee
- Miles Bridges
- Ish Smith – sees an uptick in minutes
- Kelly Oubre – gets the start but super risky play
Magic: Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Jonathan Isaac, E’Twuan Moore, and Chuma Okeke are OUT!
Notes: This is a group that has missed for awhile and will likely be out for awhile so no real change on how I attack the slate. I think for this particular game I’m going to go with some Mo Bamba as the Hornets are not really strong against the big position. This is also a fast pace matchup so I could see targeting the guards here as well with Cole Anthony and Jalen Suggs:

Hawks VS Pelicans – 07:30 PM
Hawks: De’Andre Hunter is Probable. Danilo Gallinari and Lou Williams are Questionable. Oneyka Okongwu is OUT!
Notes: With Hunter probable and Danilo question if they both play this hurts Cam Reddish the most however I have a lot of interest in this matchup. We should see Trae Young get some opportunity to shoot a ton. Not really much else in the way of adjustment but I’m not very high on Reddish. These would be the guys I want to attack:

- Clint Capella
Pelicans: Josh Hart is Questionable. Zion Williamson is OUT!
Notes: Josh Hart playing would really impact Herbert Jones and Trey Murphy but not much else in the way of minutes. Other than that we should be looking at where we have been looking all season:

- JoVal – I’ll be curious on the Capella/JoVal matchup
- NAW
Raptors VS Pacers – 07:30 PM
Raptors: Pascal Siakam and Yuta Watanabe are OUT!
Notes: Nothing new here so we are really just attacking the same guys:
- Fred VanVleet
- Scottie Brooks
- Previous Achiuwa
- OG Anunoby
Pacers: Caris LeVert is Questionable. Kelan Martin and TJ Warren are OUT!
Notes: Caris LeVert coming back is a huge return and also has a massive impact. We likely see him limited if he does play but we will need to see official word however this could directly impact Chris Duarte as those minutes have to come from somewhere. If LeVert is out, I’m going right back to Duarte however if LeVert plays, not a ton of interest. Here are the guys I’ll target:

- Domantas Sabonis
- Chris Duarte – really only if LeVert is out
- Myles Turner
Nets VS Heat – 07:30 PM
Nets: Kyrie Irving is OUT!
Notes: Same ol’ story here with Irving out. Kevin Durant and James Harden are the two that benefit the most however James Harden has just been a fat turd lately that I can’t really target at his price. Kevin Durant is in play of course but here is the list of guys I’ll go with:
- Kevin Durant
- James Harden
- Bruce Brown – he appears to be back in the good side of Nash however Nash is really just pulling names out of a hate on who is up next.
Heat: Victor Oladipo is OUT!
Notes: No major news here as he hasn’t played yet. Below are the guys I want to target:
- Bam Adebayo
- Jimmy Butler
- Tyler Herro
Celtics Vs Wizards – 07:30 PM
Celtics: Al Horford is Probable. Romeo Langford is Questionable.
Notes: With Horford probable, this takes Timelord out of play for me but does make Al Horford very interesting as he has been playing well lately. We will need to see if they limit his minutes again but if he is good to go, yes please. I will also likely set a rule to have no Tatum/Brown together but want shares of both. Below are the guys that I want to target:
- Jayson Tatum
- Jaylen Brown
- Dennis Schroder
- Al Horford
Wizards: Raul Neto is Questionable. Thomas Bryant, Anthony Gill, Rui Hachimura and Cassius Winston are OUT!
Notes: Raul Neto doesn’t really impact much as he wasn’t really in play with Beal going. Beal hasn’t really had an awesome game yet but yet the Celtics haven’t stopped much. This could be a good chance for him to go off. Here are the guys I want to target:
- Bradley Beal
- Spencer Dinwiddle
- Kyle Kuzma
- Daniel Gafford OR Montrezl Harrell
Lakers VS Thunder – 08:00 PM
Lakers: No injury report released yet.
Notes: No official report out yet but rumor is Lebron James is questionable. I’m less likely believing he misses tonight being he sat the first game on a back to back. We will need to see but Lebron plays I likely fade all 3 studs as this game could get out of hand quickly.
Thunder: No injury report released yet.
Notes: Need to wait on an injury report but there wasn’t any on there yesterday, so don’t see any being on today. These are the guys I will likely target:
- SGA

Bucks VS Timberwolves – 08:00 PM
Bucks: Bobby Portis and Semi Ojeleye are Probable. Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez and Donte DiVincenzo are OUT!
Notes: Without Holiday and Lopez this opens the world up for another Giannis smash spot. Portis and Ojeleye really hurt some of these deeper bench guys like Nwora so I am completely off of him. These are the guys I want to target:

- Patty Connaughton
- Grayson Allen
Timberwolves: No injuries to report.
Notes: No injury news so these are the guys I’m targeting:
- Karl Anthony-Towns
- Anthony Edwards
- D’Angelo Russell
Grizzlies VS Trail Blazers – 10:00 PM
Grizzlies: Dillon Brooks remains OUT!
Notes: No major news as Dillon Brooks has been out all season. Ja Morant is a guy I want to have because he is playing with a different type of energy this year. As well was we get a good opportunity for some of these other guys in this matchup.

Trail Blazers: Norman Powell is Questionable. Tony Snell is OUT!
Notes: Biggest news will be Norman Powell as this opens up Simons. Below are some guys I want target on this side of the game. I am also likely going to have a rule for Damian Lillard with no CJ McCollum but below are the guys I want:

Suns VS Kings – 10:00 PM
Suns: Cameron Payne and Dario Saric are OUT!
Notes: This is a tough matchup to guess on because one team plays fast and one plays tough defensively so it’s hard to know how heavy I will be on this game but below would be the guys I’ll target:
- Devin Booker
- Chris Paul
- Deandre Ayton
Kings: No major news to report.
Notes: Same thing above but this is the fast side of the matchup. Below are the guys I want:
- DeAaron Fox
- Tyrese Haliburton
- Davion Mitchell
Cavaliers VS Clippers – 10:30 PM
Cavaliers: Isaac Okoro is Doubtful.
Notes: Okoro being doubtful should allow Cedi Osman to see a nice minute increase which would provide some decent minutes. No major injuries other than that so we should be targeting the same guys we have been on this team with the addition of Osman. Below are the guys I could see targeting:
- Darius Garland
- Collin Sexton
- Evan Mobley
- Cedi Osman
- Kevin Love – MAYBE a deep gpp guy but not really targeting him just yet.
Clippers: Keon Johnson is Questionable. Serge Ibaka, Marcus Morris, Kawhi Leonard and Jason Preston is OUT!
Notes: We continue to see the same guys out here but these are the guys I want to target:
- Paul George – could smash in this spot.
- Terrance Mann
- Luke Kennard
- Isiah Hartenstein – Has seen 17ish minutes in two games putting up around 20 FPs.. a deep 5% gpp play only.
