Welcome to a brand new NBA season. We have a lot of changes this year in terms of where players are however the one thing that never changes are the injuries that happen.
The purpose for this article is to give you an early morning look at the injuries on the upcoming slate and how those players could impact your player pool. The most important thing to remember with this article is that while there is a lot of information here you will want to become a VIP Member for the most update and current information as this article will not change. This will give you access to our Discord channel for the #NBA-Breaking-News and #NBA-Coaches-Notes which will have all the up-to-date information as we get it. Not a member? What are you waiting for?!

A quick reminder here as we roll into the new season with so many changes to rosters some of the usual information such as usage will be difficult to grab. However once we get more games under the belt, this information is going to get much cleaner.
Hornets VS Cavaliers – 07:00 PM
Hornets: Terry Rozier is Probable.
Notes: Hopefully all played LaMelo a couple days ago because Rozier is expected to play today so his ceiling is handcuffed a little. I still don’t mind going with him however the shuts are going to be cut a little bit. These are the guys I want to target.
- LaMelo Ball
- Terry Rozier
- Mason Plumlee
- Miles Bridges
Cavaliers: Dean Wade is Probable. Darius Garland is Questionable. Dylan Windler is OUT!
Notes: Regardless if Wade plays or not the biggest news here will be Garland. If Garland misses, I love Sexton to pick up a ton of run here today. We saw Mobley go off last time off and they priced him out quite a bit here so it does make it a little harder to play him but set up for some decent volume if Garland is out.
- Colin Sexton – love if Garland is out.
- Evan Mobley
- Jarrett Allen
- Ricky Rubio – In play if Garland is out.
Knicks VS Magic – 07:00 PM
Knicks: Taj Gibson, Nerlens Noel and Luka Samaniac are OUT!
Notes: Similar situation to last game with the two bigs being out. The challenge will be how heavy are you going to go on the Knicks guys as this game could get relatively out of hand. Below are the guys I want to target:
- Mitchell Robinson
- Julius Randle
- Evan Fournier
- Derrick Rose
- Alex Burks – if this game gets out of hand, he could see a solid role.
Magic: Michael Carter-Williams, Markelle Fultz, Gary Harris, Jonathan Isaac, E’Twuan Moore and Chuma Okeke are OUT!
Notes: So many injuries on this team it leaves open big minutes to go around. It’s going to be a very tough matchup but below are the guys I like:
- Jalen Suggs
- Mo Bamba
- RJ Hampton
Pacers VS Wizards – 07:00 PM
Pacers: Torrey Craig, Justin Holiday and Jeremy Lamb are Questionable. Caris LeVert, Kelan Martin and TJ Warren are OUT!
Notes: We are going to need the news on the 3 questionables before we core somebody here however if those 3 guys miss, LOAD UP on Chris Duarte who was lights out in the first game of the season. Here are the guys I want to target:
- Chris Durate
- Domantas Sabonis
- Malcom Brogdon
- TJ McConnell
Wizards: Bradley Beal and Anthony Gil are Questionable. Thomas Bryant, Rui Hachimura and Cassius Winston are OUT!
Notes: Bradley Beal missing would be huge and impacts the direction of the game. If Beal is out, Spencer Dinwiddle becomes a massive play here as he his usage and shot taking should increase massively. Other guys will get a bump but Dinwiddle is my favorite:
- Spencer Dinwiddle
- Kyle Kuzma
- Daniel Gafford
Nets VS 76ers – 07:30 PM
Nets: Kyrie Irving is OUT!
Notes: Kyrie continues to miss so no massive game-changing news here. The two biggest guys are Harden and Durant. Other than that I’m not touching Bruce Brown as he clearly hurt someone and likely doesn’t play. The guys I am targeting:
- James Harden
- Kevin Durant
The usage between these two guys is huge and on a big slate like this, I really don’t know if I’m going with anyone else.
76ers: Joel Embid is Questionable. Ben Simmons is Doubtful. Shake Milton and Grant Riller are OUT!
Notes: Joel Embid is the BIGGEST question here as this changes a lot of things. Drummond becomes a key core play and the usage/shot attempts will be distributed amongst the entire team. Simmons out shoots Maxey back up there but here are the guys I want to target:
- Andre Drummond
- Tyrese Maxey
- Tobias Harris
Raptors VS Celtics – 07:30 PM
Raptors: Pascal Siakam and Yuta Watanabe are OUT!
Notes: Siakam and Watanbe are still out so no major news here that we weren’t ready for. Scottie Brooks is still high on my priority list as he is one of the few that was not priced up. I have no problem going back and keep this in mind, he still hit value last time out while turning the ball over 6 times and in a blow out. I like him to have a bounce back here.
- Scottie Brook
- Fred VanVleet
- Chris Boucher
Celtics: Marcus Smart and Josh Richardson are Probable. Al Horford is Questionable.
Notes: Horford will be the biggest thing that’s up in the air as how much time does he play? How does he impact Robert Williams. However the main points here is Jaylen Brown and Tatum are good to go so who’s going to go off? Last game is Brown, will it be Tatum this time? These are the guys I’m going to target:
- Robert Williams – If Horford misses, no problem going right back to the well.
- Jayson Tatum – I’m going to go him over brown.
- Jaylen Brown – no problem going back to him if you want.
Pelicans VS Bulls – 08:00 PM
Pelicans: Josh Hart and Zion Williamson are OUT!
Notes: I love this matchup tonight and should be a good one. Josh Hart and Zion both being out should benefit not only some of the starters but some of those bench players that pick up the minutes. This should allow Trey Murphy to get some more run but it’s not something I’m trusting it 100%. Some guys I’ll target:
- NAW
- Brandon Ingram
- Trey Murphy
- JoVal
Bulls: Patrick Williams is Probable. Colby White is OUT!
Notes: No major news here and Patrick Williams is expected to play so should still be in the starting line. The guys I want:
- Zach Lavine
- Nikola Vucevic
- Lonzo Ball
- Alex Caruso
Thunder VS Rockets – 08:00 PM
Thunder: No injuries to report.
Notes: Two bad teams going at it? Should be fun. These are the guys I’m targeting
- SGA
- Josh Giddy
- Tre Mann
Rockets: No injuries to report.
Notes: Similar to the above comments. These are the guys I’m targeting:
- Kevin Porter Jr – BAD GAME last time out. No problem jumping right back here and taking him.
- Christian Wood
- Jalen Green
Spurs VS Nuggets – 09:00 PM
Spurs: Zach Collins and Devontae Cook are OUT!
Notes: No major news here and the team looked relatively good last time out but Pop can always Pop us. Based on last time it was very well spread out between the scoring but these guys are the one I want to tackle:
- Dejounte Murray
- Derrick White
- Lonnie Walker IV
Nuggets: Vlatko Cancar is Probable. Jamal Murray remains OUT!
Notes: No major news on the Nuggets team as Cancar shouldn’t impact it. Joker is the main guy you have to have some shares of because he can go off at anytime. Michael Porter JR is another guy to have some shares of because he can get hot and if he gets hot, he will hammer the score. Below are the guys I want:
- Nikola Jokic
- Michael Porter JR
- Monte Morris
Suns VS Lakers – 10:00 PM
Suns: Landry Shamet is Probable. Dario Saric is OUT!
Notes: No major news here. Nothing really changes with Saric out. These are the guys you can take but mind you this could be a defensive game where it may not hit 100 points on either side.
- Devin Booker
- Deandre Ayton
- Cameron Johnson
Lakers: Sekou Doumbouya is Questionable. Kendrick Nunn, Talen Horton-Tucker, Wayne Ellington and Trevor Ariza is OUT!
Notes: Similar to the otherside of the ball. These guys were out last game and not much changes in the rotation. These are the guys I want to target:
- Anthony Davis
- LeBron James
- Carmelo Anthony
- Malik Monk – Deep GPP guy
Jazz VS Kings – 10:00 PM
Jazz: Rudy Gay is OUT!
Notes: These last games really have no major news so not much to recap. These are guys I want to target:
- Donavan Mitchell
- Rudy Gobert
- Jordan Clarkson
Kings: Maurice Harkless is Questionable.
Notes: The real impact on Harkless could be could change on where people play and who gets a few more minutes. One guy I could see getting some additional run is Terrance Davis but I’m really on a few guys and they are more the starters. I don’t foresee any significant run for Bagley again. These are the guys I’ll target.
- De’Aaron Fox
- Tyrese Haliburton
- Harrison Barnes
- Terrance Davis – IF Harkless is out.
