Welcome to another year of the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press! Members had a ton of success using the Full Court Press along with various articles and tools that DFS Army provides last season, so we are glad to be back with another year of the all-inclusive article. You have to start your research somewhere, and oftentimes going game by game and breaking down every matchup and its key players is the first step in our process. My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the advice in the article. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Houston Rockets @ Charlotte Hornets
Vegas Total: 222.5
Vegas Spread: Hou -2.0
We’ll kick this slate off with the Houston Rockets, Christian Wood will be out for the foreseeable future so DeMarcus Cousins should continue to start here. He played 30 minutes last game and looked pretty solid, this is a great matchup for big men, he’s a nice option tonight. Both John Wall and Victor Oladipo are back so I don’t have a whole lot of interest in playing either one of them, I like them much more when one is inactive. Lastly, you can make a case for Danuel House or Eric Gordon in GPPs if you want another piece of this one. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham missed yesterday’s game and is questionable here, keep an eye on the VIP Coaching forums for updates regarding this team. Terry Rozier was a nice beneficiary of Graham being out yesterday dropping nearly 40 DraftKings points. LaMelo Ball will likely stick in the starting lineup going forward, but man is his price getting up there, he’s more of a GPP guy at this price tag. Gordon Hayward has seen a price increase as well, I don’t know that I love it on him, but would be more willing to go here if Graham were out again, he’s been pretty consistent as of late. What has gotten into Cody Zeller lately? This man is a machine right now, he only played 20 minutes yesterday but was still able to put up 34.25 DraftKings points, I have not issue going right back to the well on him.
**Note on the below, this is assuming Devonte’ Graham is OUT**
5-star play: DeMarcus Cousins, LaMelo Ball, Terry Rozier
4-star play: John Wall, Gordon Hayward, Cody Zeller
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Danuel House, Eric Gordon, Victor Oladipo
Washington Wizards @ Chicago Bulls
Vegas Total: 237.5
Vegas Spread: Chi -2.5
Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine is going to be a guy I’m pretty heavy on here. With Lauri Markkanen doubtful he see’s a pretty sizeable usage bump especially with guys like Wendell Carter and Otto Porter already out. Not to mention they get a matchup with the fastest team in the league and neither of these teams plays any defense, love me some LaVine in this one. Coby White has been really volatile this season, he’s a tournament-only guy here for me just because he does have the ability to get hot, but I do like the matchup for him. Lastly, Otto Porter has been out long enough which has opened up an opportunity for Thad Young who has seen his price come all the way up. He’s in play for GPPs due to the matchup. From the Wizards, Russell Westbrook is questionable here and news we’re going to need to keep an eye on. I’m going to operate under the assumption he plays, hop in the VIP Coaching forum for updates if he does get ruled out. The price tag is really nice on him but we’re not seeing 35+ minutes out of him right now which is baked into the price tag. I have a soft spot for him in DFS due to his ability to rack up points in a hurry, he’s in play here. Bradley Beal has had two duds in a row now but they were due to pretty monster blowouts, this game should stay close so if people are off him here due to those game logs, I’ll go right back to him at a really cheap price tag. Rui Hachimura has been bitten by the blowout bug as well, this is a nice matchup and a guy I don’t mind getting to here. Lastly, you can throw darts at guys like Deni Avdija and Davis Bertans in deep tournaments but that’s about it. I do like the price tag quite a bit on Avdija who should start again here and should continue to see his minutes rise.
5-star play: Zach LaVine, Russell Westbrook, Bradley Beal
4-star play: Coby White, Thad Young, Rui Hachimura
Deeper Value: Deni Avdija
GPP Sleeper: Davis Bertans, Alex Len
Toronto Raptors @ Memphis Grizzlies
Vegas Total: 224.5
Vegas Spread: Tor -2.5
Starting with the Raptors, Fred VanVleet is on another level right now, he’s got at least 50 DraftKings points in two of his last three, but dd see a price boost, so more of a secondary option for me. Kyle Lowry had back to back 50+ point fantasy outings before throwing up a dud last game, he’s in play here as well as a secondary option. Pascal Siakam has been pretty volatile this season and came down to Earth last game, I don’t mind the matchup or price tag on him if you want to get there in tournaments. Norman Powell continues to play great basketball with OG Anunoby off the court, I have a hard time stomaching this price tag on him, but it’s certainly warranted. Lastly, Chris Boucher seems to be back in the good graces of Nick Nurse, he has at least 27 minutes in two straight games and is a very good point per minute player on the season. We know the minutes are volatile which is why I’m not going here in cash, but he’s certainly in play for tournaments. From the Grizzlies, they’ll be without Brandon Clarke and De’Anthony Melton again here which opens u some minutes. However, we’ll start with Ja Morant, we’re still waiting for that explosion game from him where he goes for 50+ fantasy points, but when it happens I want to have some of him so he’s in play here. Jonas Valanciunas played 24 minutes in his first game back and looked really good in those minutes, he’s a secondary GPP guy for me. Kyle Anderson will benefit a bit from Clarke being out, he dropped nearly 40 DraftKings points last game and is a guy I’m willing to go back to. Lastly, for some reason Dillon Brooks has been down as of late, I don’t love the production he’s giving so I’ll wait for that to pick back up before I go back to him.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Fred VanVleet, Kyle Lowry, Pascal Siakam, Ja Morant, Kyle Anderson
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Norman Powell, Chris Boucher, Jonas Valanciunas, Dillon Brooks
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 225
Vegas Spread: Dal -9.0
Starting with the Wolves, this frontcourt is a mess right now with Karl-Anthony Towns still out. Naz Reid has returned from injury last week and is looking good again, he’s in play again here while Juancho Hernangomez is questionable. Jarred Vanderbilt has been pretty meh as of late, but his price has come all the way down and this is a nice matchup for big men, I kind of like him in this spot but the minutes are trending in the wrong direction. Anthony Edwards has been inserted into the starting lineup and has been playing well enough to make him a tournament option at this price tag in a good matchup. D’Angelo Russell is listed as questionable after playing 31 minutes last game out, I know his price is intriguing but I just have a tough time trusting him, but he did look decent last game. Lastly, Malik Beasley is the most consistent option on this team and is in play as a secondary cash option if you fall in his range. From the Mavericks, we kind of know the deal with this team, it’s Luka Doncic and it’s Kristaps Porzingis, and pretty much nobody else. Luka looked awesome last game and won’t have any issue doing what he wants here, he’s an elite raw option. I love Kristaps here, the Wolves are giving up monster games to opposing big men, he has at least 40 DraftKings points in three of his last four games. The only other guy I would have interest in from this team is Josh Richardson who has looked really good since returning from injury.
5-star play: Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis
4-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Anthony Edwards, Naz Reid, Malik Beasley
Deeper Value: Jarred Vanderbilt
GPP Sleeper: Jarred Vanderbilt, Josh Richardson
Golden State Warriors @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 232.5
Vegas Spread: Sas -1.5
Starting with the Warriors, Steph Curry is now priced over $10k, but it’s well warranted. He has at least 70 DraftKings points in two of his last three games. Draymond Green has at least 40 DraftKings points in two straight and is playing a big facilitate role right now, he has 15 assists in each of his last two games. That said, that price is getting a little too high for me. Andrew Wiggins is a guy I haven’t gotten a lot of this season, he’s a fine GPP option but not a guy I love. Kelly Oubre came back to Earth last game, but he’s still in play for GPPs in case he can get hot from the field again. Lastly, Juan Toscano-Anderson is going to need to play big minutes while Looney and Wiseman are out, and with Eric Paschall questionable he’s in play again here. From the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge and Lonnie Walker continue to be out here which means more usage to go around for the rest of this team. DeMar DeRozan has at least 48 DraftKings points in two straight games and is a guy I like going right back to here. Dejounte Murray had a down game last time out but he’s going to have those every now and then, I have no issue going to him again here. Jakob Poeltl should continue to start for Aldridge, with the Warriors being so undersized right now I don’t mind getting to him here. Keldon Johnson has disappointed in his last two games with Aldridge out, I don’t hate getting to him in tournaments in hopes that people are off him due to the game logs. Lastly, Derrick White’s minutes are trending in the right direction and is a fine secondary option.
5-star play: Steph Curry, DeMar DeRozan
4-star play: Draymond Green, Kelly Oubre, Juan Toscano-Anderson, Dejounte Murray, Jakob Poeltl
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Andrew Wiggins, Keldon Johnson, Derrick White

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 213.5
Vegas Spread: Pho -7.5
Starting with the Cavs, Andre Drummond has 30 minutes in each of his last two games, he’s going to be in play if he’s going to continue to see these minutes due to his point per-minute production. Jarrett Allen isn’t an option for me as long as Drummond is in there, he just has a limited ceiling and a low floor. Collin Sexton is priced about right here, I don’t love the matchup though, the Suns have been sneaky good on defense this season. Darius Garland has looked good as of late, however, he’s in the same boat as Sexton, I don’t love the matchup. Larry Nance has been ruled out for this one, it will be a combination of Cedi Osman and Taurean Prince who fill in while he’s out, I would expect Prince to get the start and to see more minutes. From the Suns, Devin Booker finally looked great last time out going for 47 DraftKings points. The price tag is finally at a playable range for him, I’m good with him for GPPs. The wings would be my biggest target with Dario Saric and Jae Crowder questionable, if they sit we can expect Frank Kaminsky to start again. He has been pretty good as of late and is blowout proof here, I like him quite a bit if they’re out. Mikal Bridges and Cam Johnson should see all the minutes they can handle in this one if Saric and Crowder are out as well. I do like the price tag on DeAndre Ayton, so I lied a little bit earlier, he’s definitely in play due to his upside, but has been volatile.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Andre Drummond, Devin Booker, Chris Paul, DeAndre Ayton, Frank Kaminsky (If Starting), Mikal Bridges
Deeper Value: Frank Kaminsky
GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Cam Johnson
Milwaukee Bucks @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: 234.5
Vegas Spread: Milw -4.0
Starting with the Bucks, their minutes for the starters have been down over the past two games due to blowouts but Giannis Antetokounmpo has still been a pretty elite point per minute player. This game should stay close so I like his chances of playing 35+ minutes. I do like the price drop on Khris Middleton, he’s in play in all formats for me here, he’s been really consistent this season even if he hasn’t shown it over his past few games. Jrue Holiday bounced back nicely last game, I don’t hate going right back to him here although I think I would just take the savings on Middleton at that point. Brook Lopez has seen his minutes dip as well due to blowouts but Milwaukee will need his size here with Bobby Portis being really the only other big men off the bench, so I’m expecting huge minutes from Lopez at a really nice price point. Speaking of Bobby Portis, I like him for GPPs, but his price is getting up there I would rather just take the savings on Lopez. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic dropped 88 DraftKings points last time out and is making quite the MVP campaign this season. He’s an elite raw option as well in what should be a fun game. Jamal Murray is questionable here so we’ll have to keep an eye on news surrounding him. I’m going to operate under the assumption that he’s in here and makes for a nice GPP option. This is a spot where I really like Michael Porter Jr. the Bucks are going to leave wings open on the perimeter so if he can knock down his shots tonight he could be in for a huge game. Outside of those three guys I don’t have a ton of interest in the rest of this squad on a decently sized slate.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Nikola Jokic
4-star play: Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Brook Lopez, Jamal Murray, Michael Porter Jr.
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Bobby Portis, Donte DiVincenzo, Monte Morris
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers
Vegas Total: 217
Vegas Spread: Lal -10.0
Starting with the Thunder, this team has been a mess over the past week with all their guys being out but seems like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is officially back as well as Al Horford. However, they’re now without Mike Muscala and Isaiah Roby, so Darius Bazley and Horford should see all the run in the frontcourt here with guys like Kenrich Williams and Justin Jackson getting the work in the second unit. Hamidou Diallo’s price has come up to a point where I don’t think he’s really a necessity anymore especially with Gilgeous-Alexander and Dort back. From the Lakers, it sounds like Anthony Davis is going to be out tonight. I would expect Kyle Kuzma to slide into the starting lineup here and is blowout-proof as well so I like him at this price point. LeBron James has a 34% usage rate and close to 1.5 fantasy points per minute on the season with Davis out so he’s an elite option here. Then you can make a case for Montrezl Harrell and Dennis Schroder for GPPs if you want more exposure to the Lakers in a nice matchup.
5-star play: LeBron James
4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Al Horford, Kyle Kuzma, Dennis Schroder
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Darius Bazley, Montrezl Harrell
NBA Lock of the Day: Zach LaVine(DK – $8.9k; FD – $8.8k)
Love me some Zach LaVine today in a matchup with the Washinton Wizards. These two teams are two of the fastest-paced teams in the league and neither of them plays much defense at all. LaVine will also benefit from Lauri Markkanen and Otto Porter Jr. being out here. On the season he has a 36.4% usage rate and 1.53 fantasy points per minute with them off the court. The NBA Research Station – DFS Army below loves him as well, it’s going to be hard for me to get away from LaVine here! Tweet me (@MadnessDFS) your lock predictions and if your player gets over 5x tonight I’ll give you a shoutout on Twitter, let’s have some fun with this!
