Clipping Coupons for NFL Week 15
Another week is in the books and now we start this puzzle all over again for week 15. We are almost finished with the NFL season but there is a ton of money to be won in Daily Fantasy Football every single week and we have solid data to work with after 14 weeks in the books. Somebody can win a million dollars each week on DraftKings and FanDuel and there are tons of other contests that can fit your personal DFS goals. However, if a player is a good play on one site, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are a good play on the other site. Salaries are everything in DFS and in this article I am going to point out the best deals on each week on each site and help you clip some coupons if you are looking to bargain shop around the DFS industry. Here are some of the best deals this week at each offensive position:
Quarterbacks

Jalen Hurts on FanDuel $6,900. Hurts got a win against a really good team in the Saints in his first-ever NFL start. He put up 19.28 FD points and he had more rushes than pass completions for 106 rushing yards. I always love a QB who can rack up points with his legs and I don’t see any reason for Hurts to slow down the rest of the season. He is fresh and in a pace up game against the Cardinals here where both QBs could battle for more rushing yards. I like Hurts on both sites this week but he is priced 3 spots lower on FanDuel so I wanted to pick him as my coupon over there because he should be one of the top plays this week. We currently have him projected for more points than he scored last week and at this price, I like him in all formats, and we can run him out naked as well.
Matt Ryan on DraftKings $5,400. Matt Ryan is on a slump and he has a tough matchup here. I don’t anybody jumping at the opportunity to roster him in this matchup, but his price is the cheapest it has been in the last 5 years on him over on DraftKings. I always like Matt Ryan more when Julio Jones is on the field but at this price, I think he is in play for GPPs and this is a decent game to stack with a 50.5-point game total. FanDuel still has Ryan priced as the 10th highest QB on the slate which will price him out of my lineups on that site. DraftKings only has 5 starting QBs priced cheaper than Ryan though so I like paying down for him over there and we have him projected for the 2nd most Fpts/$ on the main slate.
Running Backs
James Robinson on FanDuel $7,000. Robinson has been a stud this year as an undrafted rookie on a terrible team. He has 99 or more rushing yards in 5 games this season. He has 15 or more FD points in 6 games this season. And he has 7 rushing TDs along with 2 TD receptions. He is going to be used if they are in the lead or behind and he could go underowned this week because of this tough matchup against the Ravens where they are 12.5-point underdogs. We are getting a bit of a discount on him over on FanDuel this week and we also have him projected as a nice play over there. DraftKings has Robinson priced as the 5th highest RB on the main slate this week but he is 8th over on FanDuel. We have him as the 2nd best Fpts/$ play currently right behind the RB on the other side of the ball. I think Robinson is in play on both sites, but I do prefer clipping that coupon.

Leonard Fournette on DraftKings $4,500. He was a healthy scratch last week, but this week is now Fournette week with Ronald Jones II being added to the COVID-19 list. This isn’t a big coupon, but I didn’t notice any big discounts over on DraftKings this week and I wanted to go with Fournette because he could end up being the best play on the slate. FanDuel has Fournette priced as the 26th highest RB on the slate and DraftKings has him a few spots lower tied as the 32nd. If Fournette is going to get a full workload this week against the Falcons, then he will be one of the best value plays on both sites but this is a coupon I will be clipping on DraftKings.
Wide Receivers
Michael Thomas on FanDuel $7,000. Thomas is averaging 9.25 targets per game with Taysom Hill behind center. He has gone over 100 yards in 2 of those 4 games as well. Drew Brees could even make his return this weekend and that is even better for MT. This is the game of the week with a 3-point spread and the highest game total at 51.5. Thomas is going to get a lot of looks this week and they are going to need a big game from him if they want to beat this Chiefs team. I like him on both sites, but we are getting a discount on him over on FanDuel. DraftKings has him priced as the 8th highest WR on the slate and that might even be a little low. FanDuel has him priced all the way down as the 15th highest priced WR and that just seems too low. We have Thomas projected as the top overall Fpts/$ play at WR over on FanDuel and I think he is playable in all formats.

Jamison Crowder on DraftKings $4,400. Crowder is a guy who I would prefer to play in full-point PPR formats, so I prefer him on DraftKings every week, but we are also getting him at a discount over there compared to FanDuel. We have to make sure Crowder even plays because he has the Q tag, but if he does, I like him on DK at this price. In Crowder’s first four games this season, he had 13, 10, 10, and 13 targets and he went over 100 yards in three of those games. FanDuel has Crowder priced as the 23rd highest WR on the slate this week. DraftKings is giving us a nice discount with him priced as the 33rd highest WR. This isn’t a game I want to be stacking up, but I do like Crowder as a GPP one-off play this week and he should be very low owned as well.
Tight Ends
Jonnu Smith on FanDuel $5,300. DraftKings has Smith priced as the 8th highest TE on the slate this week and FanDuel has 13 other guys priced above him. There are only two TE’s in the league with more TDs than Smith and that is Travis Kelce and Robert Tonyan. Smith has 7 TDs this season and that is tied with Darren Waller. The Titans have the highest team total on the slate at 31.25, so Vegas thinks they have 4 TDs in them, and Smith is always going to be in play for one if they are in the Red Zone. All 7 of his TDs have come in the Red Zone this season and he has 13 targets per game inside that 20-yard line. If I can’t afford to pay up at TE then I can see myself clipping this coupon this week on FanDuel,
Hayden Hurst on DraftKings $3,300. I put Matt Ryan on the coupon list for DraftKings and now we can stack him with another coupon for super cheap and that will allow us to pay up at RB and WR. Hurst hasn’t had a great season, but he is seeing over 5 targets per game and he has 11 Red Zone targets as well. This isn’t a play I love but I am OK stacking him with Ryan and Ridley or a cheap WR from the team and that will allow me to pay up for guys like Derrick Henry or Tyreek Hill who can absolutely just break slates. FanDuel has Hurst priced as the 9th highest TE on the slate but DraftKings has him down at 14th. If you need some salary relief and you are already using the Ryan coupon, maybe Hurst is a decent option, and we can hope he falls into the endzone.
