Another week is in the books and now we start this puzzle all over again for week 9. This is the best time of the year for me and there is a ton of money to be won in Daily Fantasy Football every single week. Somebody can win a million dollars each week on DraftKings and FanDuel and there are tons of other contests that can fit your personal DFS goals. However, if a player is a good play on one site, it doesn’t necessarily mean they are a good play on the other site. Salaries are everything in DFS and in this article I am going to point out the best deals on each week on each site and help you clip some coupons if you are looking to bargain shop around the DFS industry. Here are some of the best deals this week at each offensive position:

 

 

 

Quarterbacks

 

Kirk Cousins on FanDuel $7,100. I expect Dalvin Cook to be the chalk of the week after his huge 4 TD game last week.  Moving to the passing side with Cousins might be a good idea for GPPs in case their TDs come through the air, at much less ownership. Cousins has had 3 games with over 21 FD points, so he has potential for solid games, and we have two clear stacking options with Thielen and Jefferson. We are also getting a slight discount on him over on FanDuel this week so that is the site I would rather go with this GPP strategy. DraftKings has Cousins priced as the 11^th highest QB on the main slate and FanDuel has him as the 13^th. QB is pretty even across both sites this week so it’s not a big coupon, but it’s still one I am willing to start a GPP team with. We can also pair him with the chalky Cook because he is used in the passing game as well. I would probably just go with one or both WRs though personally.

 

 

Drew Lock on DraftKings $5,200. Lock had his first 20-point game last week and he has attempted 40 and 41 passes the last two weeks. He is showing signs that he can move the ball and now he has an easy matchup against the Falcons who have allowed QBs to score more than 20 DK points in every game this season expect last week. FanDuel has Lock priced in the middle of the pack this week as the 12^th highest QB on the slate. We are getting a nice discount on DraftKings though with him priced as the 4^th lowest starting QB. If there is a time to stack up Denver it is in this 50-point total against the Falcons.

 

 

Running Backs

Chase Edmonds on FanDuel $6,700. Edmonds gets to be the lead in this backfield while Drake is on the injured list. Edmonds has already looked like the better RB of the two and now he is getting a full workload. I like him on both sites this week against the Dolphins, but we are getting a discount on FanDuel. DraftKings has Edmonds priced as the 5^th highest RB on the slate this week. FanDuel has Edmonds down as the 12^th highest RB on the slate and that looks like too good of a price for me to pass on. I think we can even stack him with Murray if we want to get sneaky and that should lock up all the offensive TDs for the Cardinals.

 

 

Josh Jacobs on DraftKings $6,300. Jacobs is the workhorse on this team, and he had 31 carries last week. He is also averaging over 3.5 receiving targets per game. Plus, he has some home/road splits working in his favor this week as well. At home this season, Jacobs has averaged 10 DK points per game. On the road, where he will be this week, he has averaged 21.2 DK points per game. FanDuel has Jacobs priced as the 6^th highest RB on the slate this week but we are getting a small discount over on DraftKings with him priced as the 9^th highest. I like him on both sites, but that discount does make me like him on DraftKings more and we have a 52-point total in this matchup. We currently have Jacobs projected as the 3^rd highest Fpts/$ play on DraftKings this week over at DFS ARMY so this is going to be one of my favorite RB spots to target this week.

 

 

Wide Receivers

 

Allen Robinson II on FanDuel $6,900. This is still too cheap for Robinson. He only saw 4 targets last week but before that, he hadn’t seen less than 9 targets all season long and he has had 3 games where he saw at least 10 targets and turned that into at least 90 yards. The way to move the ball on the Titans is through the air and Robinson is the best player on this offense so I would expect him to get back to the double-digit targets this week. I think he is a solid play on both sites, but I like the coupon we are getting on FanDuel where they have him priced as the 14^th highest WR on the slate compared to DraftKings at 7^th.  We have Allen Robinson II as the 2^nd highest Fpts/$ play this week over on our DFS ARMY Domination Station Optimizer and we have run-back options on the Titans we can use for mini stacks as well.

 

DJ Moore on DraftKings $5,600. So far this season, Moore is averaging 19 DK points on the road but only 10 DK points at home. They are on the road this week against the Chiefs and they are 10.5-point underdogs. That should mean they will be looking to pass a lot and DJ is maybe my favorite Panthers player this week and if I am stacking the Chiefs, he is my top run-back piece. Especially on DraftKings where we have a coupon, we can clip. FanDuel has Moore priced as the 12^th highest WR on the slate this week. DraftKings has him down at 20. In half of his games this season Moore has had 93 or more receiving yards, so he has a decent shot at the 100-point bonus and he has the speed to break a long TD and really speed this game up. CMac could be back this week but that could open Moore up even more with extra attention having to go to McCaffrey and he is already getting a large portion of the air work on this team as you can see on our Research Lab over at DFS ARMY.

 

 

Tight Ends

 

Eric Ebron on FanDuel $5,400. All Steelers players are in play against this terrible Cowboys defense. I would expect most people to go to the WRs and RB though so Ebron could come at low ownership along with a discount on FanDuel. Ebron had his 2^nd TD of the season last week and he has been consistently getting between 43-52 yards in 5 of his 7 games. He is a big Red Zone target on this team though with 8 targets inside the 20 and 4 of those coming two weeks ago. This could be the spot for him to have his best game of the season and he has the speed for TE so he could even break a long TD as well. Not a core play for me by any means but I do like this discount on FanDuel where they have him priced as the 11^th highest TE compared to DraftKings as the 6^th highest. I do want some Steelers stacks this week and maybe Big Big to one of his WRs and Ebron is a way I will look to do that in GPPs.

 

 

Mark Andrews on DraftKings $4,800. Andrews is the 2^nd highest priced TE on FanDuel this week and that is pretty normal on both sites every week. This week, DraftKings priced Andrews down to the 4^th highest TE so we are getting a discount there, but it is warranted because he has had a down year, and this is a tough matchup against the Colts. This price is the cheapest we have seen on Andrews since week 6 of last year and he does have 3 games with 17 or more DK points this season. He does have 11 Red Zone targets on the year as well so no matter how tough the matchup is, I would always expect Lamar to look his way in the end zone. This price might be too good to pass on this week so this coupon definitely has me interested.
