PITCHERS

This slate is also not great for pitching, much like the other night. However, we have a few more options here than we did last time as it is not as bad as the last slate. Here’s what I have for you:

Erik Jokisch ($9,700/$29)

Jokisch is going to be my favorite play on the night, as he gets to face off against a Samsung team that has been struggling to hit the ball all year. He’s won each of his last 5 starts, and Kiwoom is a nice -285 favorite again tonight so Vegas likes Jokisch as well. The K potential isn’t as high as the guy I have listed below, but he’s much safer in regards to wins as he’s been dominant so far this year as shown by his stats: 5-0/ 1.49 ERA/ 0.94 WHIP/ and 30 K’s in 36 1/3 IPs. He is an ALL format type play here tonight and I love him as an SP1 on DK and as your primary SP on FanDuel.

Drew Rucinski ($10,200/$29)

Rucinski is priced way up, as he has been really good, but the matchup here doesn’t do him any favors. However, he’s been pitching extremely well, allowing only 2 ER’s over his last 3 starts to go along with 24 K’s in 21 innings. However, Doosan got back on track last night putting up an 8 spot, despite still losing to NC’s 12 run ambush. Also, his price may keep some people off along with the poor matchup. Doosan was also pretty cold before getting the plus matchup they got last night. Rucinski is a higher end GPP play, as the blowup potential is real here against Doosan, but the ceiling is also sky high.

Aaron Brooks ($8,900/$25)

Brooks has been trending upward as he gets more comfortable in the KBO. I thought this was a great pickup for them as his style of pitching really works well in the KBO. This KT offense has been struggling over the past week. However, the price doesn’t play that well for an SP2 on DK as he is priced up with the higher tiered guys. KT doesn’t K a ton either, so his ceiling is a bit limited, but he should be the least owned of any of the top priced guys, so he’s a solid option to get leverage on the field on this slate, especially on FanDuel.

Min-Woo Kim ($7,000/$24)

Kim is going to be one of my preferred SP2’s here on the night, especially given his price and matchup. In his first start of the year against this Lotte team, he went 7 scoreless while striking out 6. Lotte has also been the worst offense overall statistically in the KBO, they have a 0.285 wOBA and .088 overall team ISO. Given the price and matchup there isn’t much not to like here aside from Hanwha’s offense hasn’t been great at providing run support either, but he allows you to pay up for bats here. Kim is an ALL format type play here, especially as an SP2 on DraftKings.

Hitting STACKS

Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.

Tonight’s Cheatsheets are coming alive!  You have time to jump in, save hours of tedious research, and apply our help for the overnight slate.  You unlock core plays to build around, key pieces to stacks, great 4 and 5 star one-offs, and detailed coaching notes providing the why behind the play.

KIA (vs Min Kim) – Kia has been heating up over the past few weeks, mostly due to the great bat of Preston Tucker. Kim also has a 7.83 ERA on the year and has been getting lit up every time he steps out on the mound. Kia should also not be too highly owned with how everyone should be flocking to NC.

NCD (vs Raul Alcantara) – Hard to not like this NC team again here tonight as they put up another 12 spot last night. They’ve now scored 57 runs over their last 5 games, 3 of those 5 have been 12+ runs. Alcantara is running into a buzz saw here tonight and I’m going to be heavy on stacking NC once again tonight.

DOO (vs Drew Rucinski) – This is going to be my hedge stack of the night, as Rucinski is a heavy favorite and priced up on both sites. However, Doosan seemed to have found their bats last night putting up 8 runs. They’re going to need to score a ton to keep pace with this NC lineup and NC has one of the worst bullpens in the KBO.

KIW (vs Jung-Hyun Baek) – Kiwoom grades out very high in the newly revampled Research Station once again here tonight. They get the matchup against a pitcher who has been getting shelled every time he steps on the mount with a whopping 10.29 ERA. I like them in all formats here tonight especially the Park Smash Brothers.
