PITCHERS
Today we have another pretty bad pitching slate, as no one really stands out, and what we thought was straightforward last night, Jokisch let us down big time.
Mike Wright ($10,300/$29) – Wright is going to be your top option on the slate here tonight, as he’s been really good over his last few starts. This Kia team strikes out at about a 20% rate, which is about league average in the KBO. He K’s just under 1 guy per inning and NC is also the heaviest Vegas favorite on the night, currently sitting at -232. Wright is going to be an ALL format type play here tonight. He’s the best of a bad situation here on this KBO slate, but does come with some risk and a hefty price tag. He has the highest ceiling on the slate though.
Won-Tae Choi ($9,300/$26) – Choi has been pretty sub-par this year after having his best season in the KBO last year. He gets to face off against this Lotte team here tonight that has been hitting well, but up until about two weeks ago were statistically the worst offense in the KBO. I see them returning to that level in the near future as they can’t stay this hot for too long. He had 3 good starts in a row before getting lit up by Samsung in his last start. Choi is a GPP only option for me tonight, as his price is a bit high for his recent production, but he has a slightly better matchup than Wright and comes at a $1,000 salary reduction on DK.
Chris Flexen ($8,500/$23) – Flexen may actually be my favorite option on this slate given the price and matchup. Doosan is currently the second highest favorite on the slate at -227 and he gets to face off against this Samsung team that has been pretty sub-par offensively all year long. Flexen’s greatest strength is that he keeps the ball in the ballpark and this Samsung team doesn’t have many power hitters either. You’re not going to do much better price/matchup wise here tonight. Flexen is an ALL format type play here tonight, however the ceiling isn’t great, but that can be said for any of these SPs here on this slate.
Chan-Gyu Lim ($8,000/$24) – The matchup is just too good here, as Hanwha has been so bad that last week they dumped a ton of guys from their roster and replaced them with KBO minor-leaguers. Lim has been decent, not great, but decent but this Hanwha team has just been that bad that he makes for a solid play on a very bad pitching slate. Lim is a GPP option here tonight, as I don’t see many people being on him as most will likely flock to Wright/Flexen here, there is some blow-up potential here though.

Hitting STACKS
Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.
Tonight’s Cheatsheets are coming alive! You have time to jump in, save hours of tedious research, and apply our help for the overnight slate. You unlock core plays to build around, key pieces to stacks, great 4 and 5 star one-offs, and detailed coaching notes providing the why behind the play.
DOOSAN (vs Dae-Woo Kim) – I don’t see a way that Doosan loses this game, they’ve been hot with the bats and their pitching has really picked it up over the last few weeks. They should be able to get to this Samsung team once again, I’ll be going back to the well here with Fernandez as well.
NCD (vs Min-Woo Lee) – NC just continues to hit and win, from top to bottom I believe they have the best overall lineup in the KBO. The fact that they have a big-time power guy in Aaron Altherr hitting out of the 8 spot tells you all you need to know. They hit HR’s in bunches and they get another solid matchup here tonight.
LG (vs Chad Bell) – This Hanwha team is just straight up pathetic at this point, as they can’t even get the best of this LG team that doesn’t have their best hitter in Roberto Ramos. Bell has been horrible since coming to the KBO, and this LG team isn’t going to just roll over without Ramos. They’ve been hot with 25 runs over their last 3 games.
KT (vs Tae-Hoon Kim) – KT’s offense has gotten a shot in the arm with Baek-Ho Kang returning to the lineup, add in the added punch that Mel Rojas has supplied and you’ve got a very potent middle of this order. Han-Joon Yoo has also stepped it up as of late so I really like KT’s chances to put up some runs here tonight, and they shouldn’t be too highly owned either.
