KBO Top Plays – June 14th

PITCHERS
Today’s slate has some decent pitching options starting with an obvious top dog, but we will examine our options today! Here’s what I have for you:
Doosan Bears P ($22) FANDUEL ONLY
We still aren’t sure who is going to start this second game of the partial double header for Doosan, but at this ridiculous price, we need to consider whoever it is. Hanwha is the worst team in the KBO and is running a record long losing streak. Hanwha is 0-11 so far in June and dont really look like they are going to turn it around much. They have a 19.9% K rate with the 3rd lowest ISO and 3rd lowest OPS (against RHP, figuring they could face a RHP) All format play on Fanduel because of the cheap price and upside against HAN
Hyun- Jong Yang @ SK ($9,900/$25)
This is a really good matchup for Yang against SK here today. KIA’s pitching has worked out well on FD too as they rank as the 2nd highest average starting rotation according to their scoring. Yang specifically has really only had 2 bad starts this year and really shined against SK last time he faced them. He went 6 innings with 5 K’s and put up 24.5 DraftKings points. SK is only averaging 3.7 runs in the month of June so far (11 games) and are allowing close to 5 per game. The chances at the win here I believe are pretty high. Yang is an all format play on both sites today!
Casey Kelly vs LOT ($9,200/$27)
Kelly has really been hit or miss, but he does have a good matchup against the Lotte Giants today. He’s flashed upside of 33.3 DraftKings points, but has a low of -5.4 DK points. When he’s on though, he can rack up about a K per inning and has flashed a 10 K game just 3 starts ago. LOT has around a 20% K rate on the season too and Kelly being at home I think is more upside too. For his inconsistencies, I’m going to leave Kelly as a GPP play on this slate today on both sites

Hitting STACKS
Here are several of my favorite hitting teams for tomorrow. For the purposes of this article, our hitter focus will revolve around teams to stack. You can also see a detailed look at individual hitters by gandering over to at our KBO Cheat sheets! The cheat sheets have core plays highlighted in blue as well as other cash and tournament options.

NCD (vs Young Gun Jo) – Another day, another day we like a Dinos stack. They are facing off a pitcher who doesn’t go deep into games and we know how powerful the Dinos offense is. Sung-Bum Na has really cooled off of late, but i see him changing it around here. Jun-Sung Kang is one of my favorite options on NCD. He’s been so consistent and has been grabbing XBH left and right. He’s a CORE play for me on the Dinos stack. Aaron Altherr continues to crush the baseball and is in play too.
LG Twins (vs Adrian Sampson)
Even being without Ramos, this Twins team still has some firepower and they have a really good matchup against Sampson who has still really struggled in the KBO. In 3 starts, Sampson has allowed 11 ER in 3 starts over just 14.1 innings. My main guys on the Twins will be Eun- Sung Chae, Hyun Soo Kim, Kang-Nam Yoo.
KT Wiz (vs Tae in Won)
KTW has seem to caught some fire again and have a good matchup against Won. They were able to score 5 runs against him when they squared off earlier this season. Even though Won has been really good he hasn’t really faced the best offenses either. KT has back to back games with pretty big fantasy output games from their hitters. It all starts with Mel Rojas Jr, then Baek Ho Kang, Jeong-Dae Bae is good value.
Doosan Bears (vs Hanwha Eagles)
Like I said in the pitching section, there is no projected starters yet. Either way, HAN starters are not good and the Bears are a lethal offense in good matchups. Fernandez, Jae II Oh, Kun-Woo Park are my top 3 hitters from them on FD today.
Samsung Lions (vs Hyeong Jun So)
I think the Lions are going to be low owned again and have so much upside. KTW starter So has really only 1 really good start so far this year and has allowed 16 ER over his last 4 starts. SAM was able to score 5 runs off him last time they faced and they have some hitter who interest me. Starting off with Tyler Saladino as my top guy here, Hak-Ju Lee has been good over his last 5 games. I like them as a mini stack.
