Full Court Press:

Orlando Magic @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Magic, Nikola Vucevic should have no issue doing what he wants on a weak frontcourt, he scored 49.3 DraftKings in this spot earlier this season. Evan Fournier has seen his price come down a good amount and is still getting 30+ minutes and was able to bounce back last night, he’s a nice option here. Really the only other player I have interest in here is Aaron Gordon who’s coming off a couple of big games the past few times out, his name has been floating around trade rumors so keep an eye on that, but otherwise, he’s a solid play here. Markelle Fultz is also priced fairly here and makes sense as a GPP guy. From the Knicks, RJ Barrett is questionable here so we will need to keep an eye on his news, even if he plays he will likely be limited. Julius Randle is playing great basketball right now and scored 41 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season. It’s not the best matchup, but I don’t hate it for GPPs on a shorter slate. Elfrid Payton is in incredible form and is coming off a triple-double last time out, I would prefer Barrett to be out again but he’s a solid play regardless as I think his minutes are pretty solid. Marcus Morris is another guy that is being floated around trade rumors and probably one of the more likely guys to be traded so keep an eye on that and take a look at the Breaking News Feed for who is impacted if he is dealt. Lastly, Mitchell Robinson is expected to play here, he’s more of a deep GPP guy as he’s been pretty volatile as of late.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Julius Randle, Elfrid Payton

4-star play: Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier, Markelle Fultz, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: Bobby Portis (If Morris is traded)

GPP Sleeper: Terrence Ross, Mitchell Robinson

Philadelphia 76ers @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: Mil -9.0

Starting with the Sixers, Joel Embiid is notorious for crushing the Bucks and already dropped a 55.8 point fantasy game on them this season. If that wasn’t enough for you, he is averaging 72.25 DraftKings points per game in four games played against the Bucks since the 2018-2019 season. He’s a great option at this price. Ben Simmons dropped 55.3 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season, he’s not normally a guy that would beat up on the Bucks as they have him defended pretty well but he gets in done in almost all forms, he’s a solid option as well. Tobias Harris is not playing well right now, I don’t hate him for GPPs, but not someone that I’m prioritizing. Al Horford is another guy that normally plays well against the Bucks, as he’ll be tasked with the job of defending Giannis. From the Bucks, it’s not like Embiid is destroying this team and the Bucks aren’t countering, Giannis Antetokounmpo also destroys the Sixers. He is averaging 76.44 DraftKings points against the Sixers in four games since the 2018-2019 season. I love the idea of pairing these two in both cash games and GPP if we can find the value, they’re normally very competitive. Khris Middleton is in great form and has 40+ DraftKings points in four straight games, he’s a solid option here as well and is probably too cheap. Eric Bledsoe is also a solid option, he’s more for GPPs, but I won’t talk you off of him for cash games. Both Brook Lopez and Donte DiVincenzo make sense as GPP options as well.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton

4-star play:  Al Horford, Tobias Harris, Brook Lopez, Eric Bledsoe, Donte DiVincenzo

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Donte DiVincenzo, Brook Lopez, Eric Bledsoe, Tobias Harris

New Orleans Pelicans @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 231

Vegas Spread: No -4.0

Starting with the Pelicans, Zion Williamson is just too expensive for me here and really hasn’t shown a ceiling yet. Until we see that game from him, I don’t know that he’s worth this price, that said, I know the ceiling is in there somewhere and a great matchup against the Bulls could be all he needs, so I won’t talk you off of him for GPPs. Brandon Ingram has at least 48 DraftKings points in two straight games and gets a great matchup here, it’s tough not to like him here. Jrue Holiday is not in great form, so I’ll wait for him to bounce back, but more than likely one of these starters is going to have a dud game every night because they simply all can’t hit value. Lonzo Ball is still playing a ton of minutes and makes a ton of sense here against a bad Bulls team. Derrick Favors screwed me on Tuesday night, but this is a better spot in pace for him as I think he had trouble keeping up on Tuesday night. Lastly, Josh Hart and JJ Redick both make sense as GPP fillers. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine has cooled off a bit lately but scored 51.3 DraftKings points in this spot earlier this season, I love the spot for him. Thad Young is coming off one of his better games of the season against the Raptors last time out, I don’t hate going back to him here. Tomas Satoransky is priced nicely for a pace up spot here, I like him quite a bit especially now with Kris Dunn out.

5-star play: Zach LaVine, Brandon Ingram, Tomas Satoransky

4-star play:  Zion Williamson, Jrue Holiday, Brandon Ingram, Thad Young, Derrick Favors

Deeper Value: Luke Kornet, Coby White

GPP Sleeper: Luke Kornet, Coby White

San Antonio Spurs @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: 232

Vegas Spread: Por -3.0

Starting with the Spurs, this is a pretty good spot for DeMar DeRozan but he’s struggled in two games against the Blazers this season. That said, he’s coming off a 48.75 DraftKing point game against the Lakers, he’s a solid option. LaMarcus Aldridge has crushed the Blazers this season averaging 47.3 DraftKings points per game in two games this season. I’m just going to keep streaming big against Whiteside until it stops working, he is getting toasted, in fact Aldridge makes my Core 4 Article. The only other Spurs player that I have any interest in is Dejounte Murray, but only GPPs as he has been pretty volatile. From the Blazers, Damian Lillard finally came back down to Earth last game and it was kind of predictable. He’s not going to continue to shoot like he was on that seven-game stretch and is probably a little too expensive here. That said, the Spurs have struggled all season against point guards, this is a nice spot for him. Hassan Whiteside is coming off a terrible game against the Nuggets but gets a much better matchup here, he’s a great play. CJ McCollum is never really a guy that I get to a lot but he’s averaging 46.6 DraftKings points in two games against the Spurs this season. Lastly, Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza make sense as GPP options.

5-star play: DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, Hassan Whiteside, Damian Lillard

4-star play: Dejounte Murray, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Carmelo Anthony, Trevor Ariza

Houston Rockets @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Rockets, Russell Westbrook is questionable here so we will need to keep an eye on his status if he’s out we can go right back to James Harden, although priced up in a tough matchup. Clint Capela is still in the Rockets player pool for some reason, don’t play him, he was traded. That said, the Rockets are in a lot of trouble in the frontcourt here. I expect they go trade for a center before the deadline, but not one that will be available for this game. It will be a lot of PJ Tucker in the post, but I think they’ll be forced to run Isaiah Hartenstein minutes here against this big Lakers team otherwise they’ll get throttled. Tucker is a fine GPP play along with Eric Gordon and Danuel House. From the Lakers, LeBron James and Anthony Davis are both in elite spots here as this is a pretty heavy pace up game for them. I tend to lean toward Anthony Davis here due to the lack of size in the Rockets frontcourt. Both are elite plays, however. The only other Laker that I really have any interest in is Kyle Kuzma as he’s played well as of late, but keep an eye on him as well, he is one of the better trade pieces that the Lakers have available.

5-star play: James Harden, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play:  Russell Westbrook, Eric Gordon, PJ Tucker

Deeper Value: Isaiah Hartenstein

GPP Sleeper: PJ Tucker, Eric Gordon, Danuel House, Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo
