Full Court Press:

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: LAC -9.5

From the Wolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has been a  50+ machine lately, and should have no issue doing what he wants against this bad Clippers front court, he’s an elite option for showdown. Andrew Wiggins isn’t a bad option, but with the Clippers getting healthy I’m not going overboard. Shabazz Napier has been playing really well, but the matchup against Pat Bev isn’t great. Lastly, Robert Covington is a fine player as a last piece guy, but nobody that I’m forcing in on this slate.

From the Clippers, Paul George is listed as back  here so I’m going to count on him playing which lowers the appeal on Kawhi and surrounding. Keep an eye out for a minute limit on him however as he hasn’t played since the 5th and can never seem to stay healthy. Kawhi Leonard is a GTD right now, so if he sits its a major boost to George, Lou, and Trez. Both Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell are GPP guys with George back, but in a nice matchup, you shouldn’t be scared off of them. Patrick Beverley is also in play here if Kawhi is out.

5-star plays: Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star plays: Andrew Wiggins, Shabazz Napier, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

Deeper Value: Patrick Beverley, Robert Covington

GPP Sleeper: None

New York Knicks @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: IND -10.5

From the Knicks, Julius Randle draws a decent matchup here, and he’s been playing really well for the Knicks over the past few weeks and anchoring their offense. Mitchell Robinson has been starting as of late as well, and I’ll have a little interest there. RJ Barrett has been ruled out, so that’ll be a nice boost to Marcus Morris who has been picking it up as of late as well. Lastly, Elfrid Payton has been ruled out for tonight, so Dennis Smith Jr. is firmly in play here as long as he suits up, or Frank Ntilikina, play the one who starts. This game has a low total so I’m not going heavy here, especially with guys from the Knicks.

For the Pacers, this is a pretty nice matchup for Domantas Sabonis he’s been a bit volatile as of late but I’ll chalk that up to difficult matchups, I like him here as the Knicks are one of the worst defensive teams against bigs this year. Malcolm Brogdon is back but doesn’t seem fully healthy still as his play has been subpar. TJ Warren has been playing well, but Brogdon and Oladipo being back hurt him. Myles Turner is back tonight, but I’m not going there outside of GPPs. Victor Oladipo is also expected to return here, but he’ll be on a strict minutes limit throughout the All-Star break, so I’m not going there as his price has jumped since coming back.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, TJ Warren, Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: Dennis Smith Jr., Frank Ntilikina

GPP Sleeper: Dennis Smith Jr., Frank Ntilikina (whoever starts)

Miami Heat @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 206

Vegas Spread: MIA -2.0

For the Heat, this is a tougher matchup for Bam Adebayo but he has been playing well lately. The upside is there again tonight. Jimmy Butler also is in play and put up a solid game against this Magic team a few nights ago. Kendrick Nunn missed last game and may not play again tonight which would be a major boost to Goran Dragic who is one of the more intriguing plays on this slate. If Nunn out again, that also puts Tyler Herro firmly in play for GPPs as well.

For the Magic, Nikola Vucevic has been one of the more consistent big men in the league this season and scored 47.8 fantasy points against the Heat earlier this season. It’s not the greatest matchup, but he’s proven he can handle it. Markelle Fultz has seen his price come up to a point where I don’t love him in a slow-paced matchup. Lastly, Aaron Gordon and Evan Fournier are fine secondary options, but nobody that I’m in love with. This game has the lowest total of the night, so don’t go to heavy with guys here.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Jimmy Butler

4-star play: Bam Adebayo, Goran Dragic, Markelle Fultz, Evan Fournier

Deeper Value: Tyler Herro

GPP Sleeper: None

Brooklyn Nets @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total: 239

Vegas Spread: WSH -1.0

For the Nets, Kyrie Irving is an elite play here, as he’s playing big minutes and the Wizards have been horrible at defending opposing PGs. He went off last night, and could do so again here in a paceup matchup. However, with him and LeVert back that backcourt is now very crowded and limits Spencer Dinwiddie’s upside as well, but I do like Dinwiddie’s usage with the 2nd unit here. Jarrett Allen has been pretty up and down over the past week or so, but I like him as a GPP option here as the Wizards have no interest in playing defense. DeAndre Jordan is also in play here against a weak undersized Wizards front court. Taurean Prince is always a GPP option at the very least due to the amount of stats he can produce across the board.

Bradley Beal is still an elite play here, as the Nets struggle defending the perimeter and if the Wizards are going to keep this one close, it’ll be because of him. Thomas Bryant is still being eased back in, but I can see him pick up some additional minutes in case of a blowout and you can play bigs against the Nets as we all know. Davis Bertans and Ish Smith are also firmly in play for GPPs and won’t break the bank. Ish will pick up some additional minutes here if McRae is ruled out again.

5-star play: Kyrie Irving, Bradley Beal

4-star play: Jarrett Allen, DeAndre Jordan, Thomas Bryant, Davis Bertans

Deeper Value: Ish Smith

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith

Golden State Warriors @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: 223.5

Vegas Spread: CLE -2.0

For the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is squarely in play here, as he draws a ton of usage and is their main source of offense. Alec Burks is also in play here, but his ceiling isn’t as high with Russell in the mix as he won’t dominate the usage there. Damion Lee is also in play for a decent value here as well. Draymond Green is also in play here, although his usage leaves a lot to be desired but the Warriors have been playing small. With Willie Cauley-Stein gone, Omari Spellman and Eric Paschall get the bumps there, I prefer whichever one starts. Marquesse Chriss in play for value as well.

For the Cavs, Kevin Love sees a really good matchup here, as the Warriors really struggle against bigs that can stretch the floor. Tristan Thompson who has also been playing well, but losing minutes to Larry Nance since Clarkson got shipped out of town, but the Warriors are undersized now. Collin Sexton and Darius Garland are both in play for GPPs. I like Sexton here more as he’s been playing really well as of late. Larry Nance makes for a decent value play as well, but he’ll be a premier value play if Love or Thompson end up sitting for whatever reason. If either of those bigs rest for the Cavs, John Henson would become a great value play as well.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Kevin Love

4-star play: Draymond Green, Tristan Thompson, Collin Sexton

Deeper Value: Darius Garland, Larry Nance, Eric Paschall

GPP Sleeper: Marquesse Chriss

Atlanta Hawks @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: DAL -5.0

For the Hawks, Trae Young is your guy here tonight, as he has a 30+ % usage rate and gets a better matchup with Luka not playing again tonight. John Collins has proven massive upside already since returning from his suspension, I think he makes sense here again here, especially if Len is ruled out again, as it’ll be the Trae and Collins show. Kevin Huerter’s price has come back down to a playable level as a secondary cash option. While Alex Len is an elite GPP option due to his upside, but way too volatile for cash games and is currently a GTD, but if he plays they’ll need his size with the injuries to their front court.

For the Mavericks, the main target you’re going to want in this game is Kristaps Porzingis with Luka out, as he showed that ceiling again last night against the Rockets.  Willie Cauley-Stein was also just traded to the Mavs, and if he clears his physical he’ll likely draw the start here as the Mavericks need bodies. They’re also on the 2nd half of a B2B, so I wouldn’t be shocked if he didn’t play tonight. If he doesn’t play, then it opens the door for Maxi Kleber to play big minutes as well. Tim Hardaway Jr. is also in play for GPPs but he’s very scoring dependent. Seth Curry has also been starting and playing some really good basketball as well, and his minutes are blowout proof. Delon Wright looked really good last night as well, and is a deeper GPP play here who will be unowned. JJ Barea will also be in play for value here if he starts again.

5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Trae Young, John Collins

4-star play: Maxi Kleber, Tim Hardaway Jr., Jalen Brunson, Kevin Huerter

Deeper Value: JJ Barea, Seth Curry, Delon Wright

GPP Sleeper: Jalen Brunson, Seth Curry

Philadelphia 76ers @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: BOS -3.5

Starting with the Sixers, Joel Embiid is back and draws an elite matchup against the weak Celtics interior. Ben Simmons is going to be my favorite of the three as the Celtics don’t really have anyone that can matchup with him and they bleed FPs to opposing guards. Tobias Harris is also in play for cash games but his upside is limited with Embiid back. Al Horford is also in play here against his old team as he is probable. Josh Richardson has already been ruled out as well, which means Furkan Korkmaz also makes for a decent value play, as he has been shooting well and will see extra run if this turns into a blowout. Matisse Thybulle has also been playing heavy minutes with Richardson out as well, but he has a 13.5% usage rate. Shake Milton has also been starting and playing well too, but don’t expect a repeat performance of his last game.

Kemba Walker is firmly in play here, as he is still underpriced on all sites and draws a solid matchup here, but he’s been very volatile as of late. Gordon Hayward is also in play here, and draws a decent matchup, but I’m expecting this game to be very slow, so I’m not going out of my way to play him here, unless Jaylen Brown sits tonight.  Lastly, Enes Kanter is a GTD again, so that puts Daniel Theis in play as one of the few Celtics big men that are healthy. Jayson Tatum is back tonight, which is a downgrade to Hayward and Theis.

5-star play: Joel Embiid

4-star play: Daniel Theis, Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, Daniel Theis, Jayson Tatum, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Ben Simmons

Deeper Value: Matisse Thybulle, Furkan Korkmaz, Shake Milton

GPP Sleeper: Shake Milton

Charlotte Hornets @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: SAS -8.5

From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham isn’t in the greatest form, but he’s playing a ton of minutes and draws a solid matchup against a bad Spurs backcourt. Terry Rozier has been playing big minutes as well, and averaging over 20 actual points a game. This is a decent matchup for PJ Washington but I’m not going out of my way to play him here. Miles Bridges played well in this matchup last time out making him viable for cash games.

For the Spurs, DeMar DeRozan is on a tear right now and gets a solid matchup against a weak Hornets backcourt and Aldridge may be out again.  LaMarcus Aldridge is a GTD again tonight, but he’s in play tonight if he suits up as the Hornets are bad on their interior. Jakob Poeltl and Trey Lyles would be your value plays if he sits again tonight. Derrick White has surpassed Dejounte Murray in a sense and really playing good basketball. I do like the price on Murray as a GPP option, however, but I prefer White more.

5-star play: DeMar Derozan

4-star play: Terry Rozier, LaMarcus Aldridge (if he plays), Devonte’ Graham

Deeper Value: Jakob Poeltl, Trey Lyles, Derrick White

GPP Sleeper: Devonte’ Graham, Jakob Poeltl

Los Angeles Lakers @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: LAL -6.5

From the Lakers, all eyes will be on LeBron James tonight again as he is playing inspired basketball after the death of his good friend Kobe Bryant. I’m expecting Anthony Davis may also sit this one out as it is the 2nd half of a B2B. But if he plays, he draws an elite matchup against an undersized Kings front court.  Those are really the only two guys I have interest in on this team, I suppose you can make a case for Dwight Howard in GPPs but that’s about it.

For the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has been tearing it up over the past few games, and while the matchup isn’t great, he should draw some serious usage here with all the injuries the Kings have. Marvin Bagley and Richaun Holmes are out again here which opens the door for Nemanja Bjelica to have a good amount of opportunity here, he crushed last game and draws a decent matchup here, but I’m not expecting another 50 burger. Buddy Hield is playing great basketball as of late and this is a game where they’ll need his scoring to keep pace. He makes for a great GPP play as he has over a 30% usage rate with all the injuries the Kings have.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Nemanja Bjelica, Buddy Hield

Deeper Value: Dwight Howard

GPP Sleeper: Dwayne Dedmon

Utah Jazz @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: UTH -5.5

For the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is way too cheap still, and even with Conley back he’s been starting at PG. It’s an elite matchup for him here against a Trailblazers team that can’t defend PGs. Rudy Gobert continues to play 37-38 minutes per game and could be in store for another 20/20 game here, as the Blazers don’t the physical ability down low as Whiteside is very soft defensively, and he should feast on the boards.  Both Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are playing well with Mike Conley coming off the bench and Royce O’Neale is also a decent value play as he’s been playing big minutes. I’ll have more interest in Conley is when he gets his starting role back.  He was out last game as well so that is something to monitor.

From the Blazers, CJ McCollum is back, but that hasn’t slowed down Damian Lillard as the bucket seems to be as big as an ocean for him right now. They are both in play here tonight, but my preference is obviously going to be Dame with the monster games he’s been putting up. Hassan Whiteside has been a bit volatile as of late but I don’t mind going right back to him in GPPs, as Utah has been pretty bad defensively against C’s over the past few weeks. Lastly, Carmelo Anthony and Trevor Ariza are fine GPP options, but Carmelo was out last game, so keep an eye on news there.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Rudy Gobert

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Trevor Ariza, Royce O’Neale

GPP Sleeper: None
