Full Court Press:
Boston Celtics @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Celtics, Kemba Walker has already been ruled out for this one which opens up a ton of minutes, shots, and usage for the rest of this team in a prime matchup. Jayson Tatum bounced back nicely with a 47 point fantasy night in his last game, with Kemba out it’s tough not to like him in this spot. Jaylen Brown should play here and much like the rest of this team is in a great spot, fire him up in all formats as he sees a 1.3% usage bump with Kemba out this season. Gordon Hayward has played 34 minutes in four straight games which is a good sign and has scored 30+ Draftkings in six of his last seven games, he’s a solid option here as well. Enes Kanter is playing great basketball right now and has 34+ Draftings points in three straight games. Lastly, Marcus Smart sees a 3.4% usage increase with Kemba off the court this season, he’s a nice play at his price as well. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal is questionable but I’ll operate under the assumption that he’ll play. As long as he isn’t limited he’s a great play and will be in control of this offense with all their injuries. He scored 62.8 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. If he’s out we can go right back to Jordan McRae but he may be too expensive if Beal is in. Troy Brown is a bit too volatile for me to like in cash but makes for a nice GPP option. The same can be said for Isaiah Thomas, GPP only. Gary Payton’s minutes came back up last night but he didn’t do a lot with them even with Isaiah Thomas getting ejected early, he’s a fade in this matchup.
5-star play: Bradley Beal, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown
4-star play: Gordon Hayward, Marcus Smart, Enes Kanter, Jordan McRae, Troy Brown, Ish Smith
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Troy Brown, Isaiah Thomas, Ish Smith
Indiana Pacers @ Charlotte Hornets
Vegas Total: 209.5
Vegas Spread: Ind -5.0
This game has a pretty low total, so we will have to keep that in mind when analyzing it. Starting with the Pacers, this is a great matchup for Domanatas Sabonis as he’s been so consistent this season. He’s an elite play in all formats especially with the Hornets struggling with opposing big men all season long. He gets an even bigger boost with Malcolm Brogdon already ruled out. Aaron Holiday will likely start in Brogdon’s place and be a fine option in a good matchup. Jeremy Lamb seems like he may be the biggest benefactor of Brogdon being out, I’m willing to go back to the well on him. Myles Turner and TJ Warren are both GPP options in a strong matchup. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is playing a crazy amount of minutes right now and anybody playing that kind of minutes is in play for me. Terry Rozier is coming off of a 46 and 50 point Draftkings outings in his past two games, I like going back to the well here, he is Devonte’ Graham lite to me. PJ Washington has flashed some upside recently and is priced nicely, I don’t hate him as a GPP option. Miles Bridges has been pretty volatile here so he’s GPP only until the consistency comes back.
5-star play: Domantas Sabonis
4-star play: Aaron Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Myles Turner, PJ Washington
Brooklyn Nets @ Orlando Magic
Vegas Total: 210.5
Vegas Spread: Orl -5.0
Starting with the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie bounced back from a pretty bad game with a pretty average game last time out. I like Dinwiddie’s consistency but this isn’t exactly the greatest spot. However, he does see a boost as Caris LeVert is expected to miss this game after returning the last game. Jarrett Allen has been pretty up and down over the past week or so, but I like him as a GPP option here in a tougher matchup. Taurean Prince is always a GPP option at the very least due to the amount of stats he can produce across the board. Lastly, Joe Harris makes sense for GPPs as well in hopes he can get his shot in a rhythm. From the Magic, Nikola Vucevic has 40+ Draftkings points in six straight games and gets a great matchup here, we’ve been targeting centers against the Nets all season, so why stop now? With Jonathan Isaac out, Aaron Gordon’s minutes are more solidified but on a nine-game slate he’s more of a GPP option. Evan Fournier always makes sense for cash games due to his consistency for me. Finally, DJ Augustin and Terrence Ross are good GPP plays to round out this team.
5-star play: Nikola Vucevic
4-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince, Joe Harris, Aaron Gordon, Evan Fornier
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Taurean Prince, DJ Augustin, Terrence Ross
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 213
Vegas Spread: Phi -7.0
Starting with the Thunder, it looks like everyone is healthy and ready to go here. Chris Paul and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are priced very similarly, however, Gilgeous-Alexander is playing much better basketball. If I’m picking between them I’ll take SGA who’s in my better form. Dennis Schroeder is another point guard option on this team and has scored at least 31 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. Steven Adams is in pretty good form but I don’t love the price tag on him. The same can be said for Danilo Gallinari, I think we can find better options on this slate. From the Sixers, Joel Embiid is in great form and scored 54 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season, I like him again here. Ben Simmons is coming off of a massive 78 point Draftkings outing, he’s a triple-double threat every time he steps on the court and an elite play again here. Tobias Harris is not in great form but is still getting massive minutes, he’s more of a secondary play for me. Al Horford is also in pretty bad form as well, I’ll wait for him to play better basketball. Josh Richardson makes sense as a secondary play as well to round out this team.
5-star play: Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons
4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Dennis Schroeder, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari, Al Horford
Denver Nuggets @ Atlanta Hawks
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Nuggets, I like the price on Nikola Jokic and this is an elite matchup against a Hawks team that is struggling on all cylinders on defense. Will Barton has scored at least 32 Draftkings points in four of his last five games but is coming off of a bit of a dud, I don’t mind going back to the well on him. Jamal Murray flashed his upside last game when he dropped 52 Draftkings points. He’s an elite GPP option and a secondary cash option due to the elite matchup. Lastly, Paul Millsap is a secondary option that I never mind as a filler play. From the Hawks, Trae Young scored 68 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season, it’s a tough spot but he’s proven he can handle it, I like him again here. John Collins has proven massive upside already since returning from his suspension, however is questionable here, so we will have to keep an eye on his status going into lock. Kevin Huerter’s price has gone back up to a point where I will fade in a tough matchup. While Alex Len is an elite GPP option due to his upside and minutes he has been getting, but way too volatile for cash games in a tough matchup.
5-star play: Nikola Jokic, Trae Young
4-star play: Will Barton, Jamal Murray, Paul Millsap, John Collins, Alex Len
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Alex Len, Kevin Huerter
Utah Jazz @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 222
Vegas Spread: Uta -3.5
Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell scored 54 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, the Pelicans have struggled against opposing guards all season long. Rudy Gobert continues to play 37-38 minutes per game and gets a great matchup here, it’s tough not to like him here. Both Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are playing well with Mike Conley off the court, they make for nice secondary options. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has been the best option on this team this season, however, he gets a tough matchup against a great defensive team here. Jrue Holiday is normally the model for consistency, he’s similar to Ingram in that I like going back to him, he’s considered questionable here so keep an eye on his status. Both Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball are in great form here and make for great secondary options and elite GPP options in hopes they stay hot. Especially Lonzo who has 55+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games. JJ Redick’s price came back up a little bit after last game, I still think he’s a little too cheap here and if he’s hot out of the gate they won’t take him out which is great for his GPP upside.
5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert
4-star play: Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Derrick Favors, Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday
Deeper Value: JJ Redick
GPP Sleeper: Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Derrick Favors
Milwaukee Bucks @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 229.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -7.5
Starting with the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge is kinda playing out of his mind right now scoring 45+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, I like him in hopes he stays hot here as he dropped 35 on the Bucks in their matchup on Saturday night. DeMar DeRozan is also in good form scoring 40+ Draftkings points in three of his last four, he makes for a nice cash option as well, although he doesn’t fit the mold to beat the Bucks. He’s not exactly the three-point shooter that this Bucks team allows big games to. Dejounte Murray is questionable here which could mean another start for Derrick White who is a great play at his price tag. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has an insane 39.1% usage rate and 1.91 fantasy points per minute on the season, he’s an elite play in hopes that he can find his way to 30+ minutes. Khris Middleton is back down to a playable price, he’s more of a guy that I want for cash games as he’s a very consistent player. Eric Bledsoe is slowly getting his minutes back, the Spurs are not great against opposing point guards so I like him for GPPs. Lastly, Brook Lopez continues to play good basketball and seems to have shaken his poor play earlier this season, I like him for GPPs in hopes that he can get hot from three.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, LaMarcus Aldridge
4-star play: Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, DeMar DeRozan
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez
Chicago Bulls @ Dallas Mavericks

Starting with the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen’s price has come down but is dealing with a sprained ankle, I will likely wait until he’s back up to full strength. Zach LaVine is coming off of a 52 point Draftkings outing last game, I like going back to him here if you think he can stay hot. Wendell Carter has scored at least 40 Draftkings points in two straight games and is finally performing at the higher end of his price tag, I don’t hate giong back to him here. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky has come down a bit over his past couple of games but I don’t hate the idea of going to him for GPPs if you land in that price range. From the Mavs, Luka Doncic is one of the better raw options on the slate due to the matchups, I don’t need to tell you that he’s an elite play here. With Kristaps Porzingis and Tim Hardaway off the court this season, Doncic has a 39% usage rate and 1.94 fantasy points per minute. Maxi Kleber has at least 31 Draftkings points in three straight and will help pick up minutes with Porzingis out. The Bulls have struggled against opposing bigs all season long. Dwight Powell has at least 25 Draftkings points in six of his last seven games and is in the same boat as Kleber.
5-star play: Luka Doncic
4-star play: Dwight Powell, Maxi Kleber, Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Dwight Powell, Tomas Satoransky
Golden State Warriors @ Sacramento Kings

From the Warriors, we have a good amount of injury news to sort thru here. D’Angelo Russell and Draymond Green are out. With those guys off the court, this season Alec Burks leads the team in usage at 24.1% and over a fantasy point per minute which puts him firmly in play. I also like Damion Lee to take a good amount of usage in this offense with his recent production. Marquese Chriss is in pretty good form and should pick up some of Draymond Green’s minutes and may even get the start, he makes sense here as well. Willie Cauley-Stein gets a revenge game here and scored 33 Draftkings points in this spot earlier this season, I love the price tag on him here. From the Kings, the price has come up on De’Aaron Fox after dropping a 60 burger on the Grizzlies but had a dud last game against the Pels. He’s a GPP option here due to the price tag. Richaun Holmes has four straight games of 30+ fantasy points, he’s in play here again if Bagley needs to miss. Nemanja Bjelica is more of a GPP option, but he’ll see extended run with Bagley out. Buddy Hield is in pretty good form scoring at least 42 Draftkings points in three of his last four games. Lastly, Bogdan Bogdanovic is a secondary cash play at the very best with Fox back.
5-star play: Alec Burks, Damion Lee
4-star play: Marquese Chriss, Willie Cauley-Stein, Glenn Robinson, De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Richaun Holmes
Deeper Value: Eric Paschall
GPP Sleeper: Marquese Chriss, Glenn Robinson, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nemanja Bjelica
