Full Court Press:

Los Angeles Clippers @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total: 233

Vegas Spread: LAC -5.5

Kawhi Leonard is an elite play here, especially with Paul George continuing to be out here tonight, and with the fast pace of this game it really suits him well in this matchup. Lou Williams’ price has come back up, but he’s firmly in play here as he’ll see extended run with Paul George already ruled out. Montrezl Harrell draws another elite matchup here, as the Pelicans really struggle to defend bigs. Lastly, Ivica Zubac has actually been pretty good as of late and makes sense as a value GPP option.

For the Pelicans, Jrue Holiday is out again and opens up a bunch of value for this Pelicans team. With Holiday off the court this season, Brandon Ingram has a 31.1% usage rate and 1.34 fantasy points per minute, and is an elite play here as well. Josh Hart will also see an increased opportunity here and make sense as secondary options after performing very well over the last few games. Both Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball are in great form here and Favors is coming off a monster game as well. Okafor has also been ruled out for this game, and with Kenrich Williams also already out, E’Twaun Moore will likely draw a start here and makes sense for value. Nicolo Melli will also be in play for value here if he ends up drawing another start.

5-star plays: Kawhi Leonard, Brandon Ingram

4-star plays: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Lonzo Ball, Derrick Favors, Josh Hart

Deeper Value: E’Twaun Moore, Nicolo Melli, Ivica Zubac

GPP Sleeper: Nicolo Melli (if he starts)

Milwaukee Bucks @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 233

Vegas Spread: MIL -9.0

From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has an insane 39.1% usage rate and 1.91 fantasy points per minute on the season, he’s an elite play here, as the Nets are one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA. Khris Middleton is back down to a playable price, he’s more of a guy that I want for cash games as he’s a very consistent player and he has some solid upside in a matchup like this. Eric Bledsoe is slowly getting his minutes back, and he’s been playing much better as of late. If George Hill is ruled out again, that will also put Donte DiVincenzo squarely in play for value once again. Brook Lopez also draws a solid matchup here, as the cheat code is to play bigs against the Bucks. I just have a sneaking suspicion that the Bucks will blow them out here, so Pat Connaughton makes for a decent value as well.

For the Nets, Kyrie Irving has returned and is already shooting his mouth off and pissing off his teammates. However, he’s an elite play if you’re on the early slate as the Bucks struggle against PGs. With him and LeVert back that backcourt is now very crowded and limits Dinwiddie’s upside as well, but with Temple out today its a slight boost to all of them. Jarrett Allen has been pretty up and down over the past week or so, but I like him as a GPP option here but I have a feeling this game won’t stay close. Taurean Prince is always a GPP option at the very least due to the amount of stats he can produce across the board. Rodions Kurucs is also in play for value here today, as he is starting with the injuries to the Nets front court.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kyrie Irving

4-star play: Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Caris LeVert, Spencer Dinwiddie

Deeper Value: Rodions Kurucs, Taurean Prince

GPP Sleeper: Donte DiVincenzo, Pat Connaughton

Phoenix Suns @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 224

Vegas Spread: BOS -7.0

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker is a solid play here, as he has been heating up over the past few weeks, and his price is really starting to catch up across the industry, he’s a really good play here with Oubre already ruled out. However, with Jaylen Brown ruled out, he’ll likely see a lot of Marcus Smart which is less than ideal. Ricky Rubio is playing a ton of minutes and playing very well as of late, and he’s coming off his best game of the season so he should keep that momentum going here. Kelly Oubre has already been ruled out and is in concussion protocol, so those minutes will likely go to Mikal Bridges and he becomes a great value tonight. Lastly, DeAndre Ayton is squarely in play here as well as the Celtics don’t really defend the inside well at all, and he’s started to turn the corner in his second year, and is still a little underpriced. I like him more if he starts, but he’s been coming off the bench and still playing 30+ minutes. Cam Johnson will also be in play for value here with Oubre ruled out, and should have minuscule ownership.

Kemba Walker is firmly in play here, as he is still underpriced on all sites and draws a solid matchup here, as the spot to attack the Suns is at the guard position, especially at PG. However, he’s a GTD right now, so if he sits then it’ll be a major boost to Brad Wanamaker and Marcus Smart. Gordon Hayward is also in play here, and draws a pretty solid matchup with Oubre out. If Kemba is out then he’ll handle the ball more as well, so he’d be one of my favorite plays of the night in that case. Lastly, Enes Kanter continues to play well, but Theis being back hinders his upside, but the matchup is decent if he starts, as he is still pretty cheap. Jayson Tatum is also in play tonight, but I can never get him right, he’ll be more in play for me if Kemba sits. Lastly, Daniel Theis is in play for value, but his upside is limited with Kanter healthy.

5-star play: Kemba Walker, Gordon Hayward (if Kemba sits), DeAndre Ayton

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Enes Kanter, Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio, Marcus Smart, Mikal Bridges

Deeper Value: Brad Wanamaker, Daniel Theis, Cam Johnson

GPP Sleeper: Cam Johnson, Daniel Theis, Mikal Bridges

Philadelphia 76ers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: PHI -4.0

Starting with the Sixers, Joel Embiid has already been ruled out after that nasty finger injury from a few nights ago. This is a major boost to the other big three, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, and Al Horford. Simmons is going to be my favorite of the three as the Knicks have been getting torched by opposing PGs, and also lost RJ Barrett to an ankle injury. Tobias Harris also sees a nice usage boost here (+2.5%) and will take on more of a role offensively here, which raises his ceiling. The biggest beneficiary of Embiid’s absence will be Al Horford as he sees a 4.5% usage increase. Josh Richardson is also in play here, as the Knicks really struggle against guards as I mentioned above. Furkan Korkmaz also makes for a decent value play, as he has been shooting well and will see extra run if this turns into a blowout.

From the Knicks, Julius Randle draws a decent matchup here, and he’s been playing really well for the Knicks over the past few weeks. Mitchell Robinson has been starting as of late as well, and I’ll have a little interest as he’s a GTD right now, although he is probable. RJ Barrett has been ruled out, so that’ll be a nice boost to Marcus Morris who has been picking it up as of late as well. Lastly, Elfrid Payton has been starting and playing well, but he has a tough matchup here, so he’ll be GPP only for me. If Dennis Smith Jr. and Frank Ntilikina are both out again, Kadeem Allen should see some solid run off the bench again.

5-star play: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris

4-star play: Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Marcus Morris, Al Horford, Josh Richardson

Deeper Value: Josh Richardson, Furkan Korkmaz

GPP Sleeper: Kadeem Allen (only if DSJ and Ntilikina are both out)

Detroit Pistons @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 227.5

Vegas Spread: DET -2.0

From the Pistons, Andre Drummond is a premier play here as Blake has basically been shutdown for the year so Drummond will handle the load offensively, and the Hawks have been getting gashed inside by opposing big men, and he should be able to do whatever he wants here, especially if Len is out again. Derrick Rose has been playing well recently, and he gets a solid matchup here, and that will be boosted with Luke Kennard out again tonight, and if Morris is out as well so we have some value opening up here from the Pistons in the form of Christian Wood and Sekou Doumbaya, although Doumbaya’s price has come up across the industry. Langston Galloway makes sense as a deeper GPP play as well, but he is risky as he is scoring dependent but with Kennard out he sees a nice boost.

For the Hawks, Trae Young is your guy here tonight, as he has a 30+ % usage rate and gets a cake matchup against the Pistons who can’t defend the perimeter. John Collins has proven massive upside already since returning from his suspension, I think he makes sense here again here, especially if Len is ruled out again, as it’ll be the Trae and Collins show. Kevin Huerter’s price has come back down to a playable level as a secondary cash option. While Alex Len is an elite GPP option due to his upside, but way too volatile for cash games and is currently a GTD, but if he plays they’ll need his size against Drummond.

5-star play: Andre Drummond, Trae Young, John Collins

4-star play: Kevin Huerter, Derrick Rose

Deeper Value: Christian Wood, Sekou Doumbaya, Alex Len

GPP Sleeper: Christian Wood, Alex Len

Toronto Raptors @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total: 223.5

Vegas Spread: TOR -5.5

From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has played 30 minutes in each of his two games since returning from injury. This is an elite matchup, I like him quite a bit at a discounted price tag. Kyle Lowry currently leads the league in minutes and is an elite play again tonight with VanVleet already ruled out, and the Wolves have been getting torched by PGs all year long. Marc Gasol also is a nice play here at a discounted price as he is back in the lineup as well. Lastly, I don’t love the price on Norman Powell but you could make a case for deep GPPs with VanVleet likely out again.

From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns is back and played 28 minutes last night. Given that he has been out for a few weeks I don’t see them pushing him too much here. Andrew Wiggins has found some consistency this season, he’s in a great spot here as well especially if KAT ends up sitting as he’ll dominate usage with the starters, although the ceiling hasn’t been there lately. Jarrett Culver has shouldered some of the load offensively since KAT went down, and he’s been playing great over the last week, so I definitely have interest if he starts again, but if KAT plays again he takes a hit. Shabazz Napier is also in play here, as he’s been starting at the point and with Teague gone it opens him up to 25+ minutes at what is still a discounted price, although the matchup isn’t the greatest.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry

4-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Shabazz Napier

Deeper Value: Marc Gasol, Norman Powell

GPP Sleeper: Marc Gasol

Cleveland Cavaliers @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 214

Vegas Spread: CHI -6.5

Starting with the Cavs, Kevin Love sees a really good matchup here, as the Bulls struggle against bigs, but especially ones that can stretch the floor. Tristan Thompson who has also been playing really well over the past few games and he draws a phenomenal matchup as the Bulls are near the bottom of the NBA at defending C’s. Collin Sexton and Darius Garland are both in play for GPPs. I like Garland a little more as his minutes will likely be blowout proof. Cedi Osman is also in play here, as Kevin Porter has been ruled out for the next 4-6 weeks and Larry Nance makes for a decent value play as well, but he’ll be a premier value play if Love ends up sitting for whatever reason.

From the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen feels a bit too priced up for this matchup, and even with Wendell Carter ruled out again, he has been playing horribly over the past few weeks. Although, this is a matchup he can take advantage of here tonight. Zach LaVine is firmly in play here, as he should be able to do whatever he wants in this game as Cleveland has been getting torched guards all year long. Wendell Carter is still out for this game, so that puts both Thad Young and Luke Kornet in play as Gafford has been ruled out as well. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky has come down a bit over his past couple of games but I don’t hate the idea of going to him for GPPs if you land in that price range. Kris Dunn is also in play for value as Cleveland really does struggle against guards.

5-star play: Kevin Love, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Tristan Thompson, Thad Young, Collin Sexton

Deeper Value: Darius Garland, Thad Young, Luke Kornet

GPP Sleeper: Luke Kornet

Orlando Magic @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total: 213

Vegas Spread: ORL -5.5

Starting with the Magic, this is a really good matchup for Nikola Vucevic who is in great form the last few weeks, and there are a ton of injuries for the Magic here tonight. I don’t know that I can feel confident going there. Evan Fournier will be in play here if he suits up, as the Warrior can’t defend the perimeter. Aaron Gordon is in play if Fournier sits for me, as he’ll absorb some of that usage. Lastly, Markelle Fultz makes for a fine GPP option, as he’s the only ball handler they have right now with Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams both likely out again tonight, and it’ll be a really good matchup for him here. Wes Iwundu will be a deep GPP play if Fournier sits as well

For the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is squarely in play here, as he draws a ton of usage and is their main source of offense. Alec Burks is also in play here, but his ceiling isn’t as high with Russell in the mix as he won’t dominate the usage there. Damion Lee is also in play for a decent value here as it seems they have his contract issue finally squared away. If he sits it is a boost for both Russell and Burks. Draymond Green has already been ruled out tonight, so that is a major boost to Omari Spellman also has drawn the start the last few games, and would be a solid value play as he’ll likely draw the start again tonight. Draymond being out also puts Marquesse Chriss in play for value as well, although he is more volatile.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, D’Angelo Russell

4-star play: Markelle Fultz, Aaron Gordon, Omari Spellman, Alec Burks

Deeper Value: Damion Lee, Marquesse Chriss, Wes Iwundu

GPP Sleeper: Marquesse Chriss

Los Angeles Lakers @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total: 232

Vegas Spread: HOU -2.0

From the Lakers, it’s pretty simple, it’s LeBron James and it’s Anthony Davis. Davis has been out for the past few games, and if he sits again tonight its really hard to pass up LeBron here.If Davis sits as well, Kyle Kuzma will draw the start and he’ll be a chalky, but good, value option as he’s been playing really well with Davis out. If Davis sits it also puts JaVale McGee and Dwight Howard both firmly in play, with my preference being Howard as he plays more minutes with AD out than McGee does. The other Lakers’ guards are all a crapshoot to figure out, so I’ll likely be avoiding it all together. And if AD plays tonight, he’s obviously in play here as the Rockets struggle against athletic bigs that can shoot.

From the Rockets, James Harden is going to be your top pay up option here, but I actually like Russell Westbrook a little bit better here as he is cheaper and gets a better matchup. Clint Capela has been smashing the past few games as well, and I love the matchup here against JoVal, and he sees a nice usage boost with RWB out. However, it’s a downgrade to him if AD plays tonight as that’ll toughen his matchup right up. PJ Tucker is always in play for GPPs, but he’ll have to contribute with his peripheral stats to make value here, and he has a low floor as well. Ben McLemore and Danuel House both make sense as lineup filling value plays as well, House moreso as he tends to start.

5-star play: LeBron James, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis (if he plays)

4-star play: Clint Capela, Danuel House

Deeper Value: JaVale McGee, Dwight Howard, Avery Bradley, PJ Tucker

GPP Sleeper: Danny Green

Sacramento Kings @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 223

Vegas Spread: UTH -9.0

From the Kings, De’Aaron Fox is on a heater right now in which he has been flirting with a triple double almost every night since returning from injury. That said, the Jazz are a solid defensive team, but aren’t as good against guards with Conley still out. Buddy Hield continues to play huge minutes and is a nice GPP play here as usual. Nemanja Bjelica has also been playing really well and if Richaun Holmes is out here again it makes him viable. Marvin Bagley is back as well, so that puts a little damper on Bjelica. He’s dealt with quite a bit of injuries in his early career so I imagine they don’t want to push him too much as he only has a few games back under his belt.

Starting with the Jazz, Donovan Mitchell is way too cheap on FanDuel, and draws an elite matchup here, as the Kings play pretty fast and loose. Rudy Gobert continues to play 37-38 minutes per game and could be in store for another 20/20 game here, as the Kings don’t have the size to matchup with him, especially if Holmes is out again. They don’t have anyone that can box him out and he should feast on the boards here. Both Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are playing well with Mike Conley off the court, they make for nice secondary options. Royce O’Neale has also been playing well over the past week if you need a deeper value play.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, De’Aaron Fox

4-star play: Buddy Hield, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Marvin Bagley

Deeper Value: Royce O’Neale

GPP Sleeper: Nemanja Bjelica (only if Holmes sits)

Portland Trailblazers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 221

Vegas Spread: OKC -6.0

From the Blazers, this is a spot that Damian Lillard was a GTD last night but appears to be healthy, and this is a solid spot as OKC plays at a faster pace than most people realize. Carmelo Anthony is also firmly in play here for GPPs, as he is a little scoring dependent but this is a matchup he can take advantage of as Gallo has no interest in playing defense. Hassan Whiteside is smashing everyone in sight lately, and if Adams is out again its even more of a boost for him. CJ McCollum is a guy I never really get to when Lillard is active but I don’t hate him as a secondary guy here, but he sees the biggest usage dip since Melo joined the team, however, he went out with an ankle injury last night so he may not play tonight. Anfernee Simons also makes sense for value here, as he came out and started over Bazemore a few times, and if Dame or McCollum ends up sitting he’ll be a phenomenal value play.

From the Thunder, Chris Paul continues to be a consistent producer and makes a lot of sense for cash games here, and he’ll go a little overlooked in the late game and the matchup is there against Dame. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is in a great spot here tonight as well. Steven Adams should be a solid play here as well, as he is pretty cheap and draws a nice matchup against Whiteside. However, he sat out last night so that is something to keep an eye on. Lastly, Nerlens Noel will be another great value play if Adams ends up sitting again.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Chris Paul

4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Steven Adams, CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside

Deeper Value: Nerlens Noel, Anfernee Simons

GPP Sleeper: Nerlens Noel, Anfernee Simons
