Full Court Press:

Indiana Pacers @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pacers, Domanatas Sabonis continues to destroy everyone in his way, he’s scored at least 47 Draftkings points in five straight games and gets a great matchup here. He’s an elite play in all formats if he is active as he is currently questionable. He gets an even bigger boost with Malcolm Brogdon possibly out. Aaron Holiday will likely start in Brogdon’s place if he is forced to miss again and would be a fine option. Jeremy Lamb seems like he may be the biggest benefactor of Brogdon being out, I’m willing to go back to the well on him. Myles Turner and TJ Warren are both GPP options. From the Bulls, Lauri Markkanen’s price is probably right where it should be, I don’t love him in this matchup. Zach LaVine has scored at least 50+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games and got a price decrease here because of the matchup, I love him for GPPs. Wendell Carter is out here which will open up minutes for Thad Young who performed well in his last two games when given the chance, I like going right back to him. Lastly, Tomas Satoransky has come down a bit over his past couple of games but I don’t hate the idea of going to him for GPPs if you land in that price range.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Aaron Holiday, Jeremy Lamb, Myles Turner, Lauri Markkanen, Thad Young, Tomas Satoransky

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Myles Turner, Coby White, Lauri Markkanen

Charlotte Hornets @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Jazz, this should be one of the slower games on the slate which doesn’t make me love it, but the Jazz do get a pretty nice matchup. I don’t love the price tag on Donovan Mitchell but he really should be able to do whatever he wants here, the price makes him a GPP only play for me. Rudy Gobert continues to play 37-38 minutes per game and gets a great matchup here, it’s tough not to like him here as he has already scored 50.8 Draftkings points in this matchup once this season. Both Joe Ingles and Bojan Bogdanovic are playing well with Mike Conley off the court, they make for nice options as well. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is playing a crazy amount of minutes right now and anybody playing that kind of minutes is in play for me, but I really don’t like the matchup. Terry Rozier is coming off of a 46, 41, 39.5 and 50 point Draftkings outings in his past four games, I like going back to the well here, he is Devonte’ Graham lite to me. PJ Washington has flashed some upside recently and is priced nicely, I don’t hate him as a GPP option. Miles Bridges has been pretty volatile here so he’s GPP only until the consistency comes back.

5-star play: Rudy Gobert

4-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier, Joe Ingles, Bojan Bogdanovic, Donovan Mitchell

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: PJ Washington, Miles Bridges

Miami Heat @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 217.0

Vegas Spread: Mia -3.5

Starting with the Heat, Bam Adebayo is one of my favorite center options on this slate, big men against the Nets is a legit thing and something I’ve been targeting all season long. He scored 42 Draftkings points against them earlier this season. This is a similarly great spot for Jimmy Butler, he scored 35 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season but I love his upside here. Justise Winslow played 15 minutes in his first game back last game, I would expect these minutes to slowly keep climbing, this will hurt Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic. Those three fall into deeper GPP plays on a big slate. From the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie scored 44 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season and seems fairly cheap here, I like him as a GPP option. Caris LeVert is slowly seeing his minutes come back as he returns from injury, he’s a deep GPP option on a large slate due to his minute’s cap. This isn’t a great spot for Jarrett Allen he struggled in this spot earlier this season, he’s more of a deep GPP option as well. Lastly, Taurean Prince is one of those volatile guys that could get you 40 Draftkings points or 14 and I wouldn’t be surprised. He’s a GPP guy as well.

5-star play: Bam Adebayo, Jimmy Butler

4-star play: Goran Dragic, Spencer Dinwiddie, Taurean Prince

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kendrick Nunn, Justise Winslow, Caris LeVert, Jarrett Allen

Atlanta Hawks @ Washington Wizards

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young has scored 50+ Draftkings points in four straight games and 60+ in two of his last three. The Wizards DO NOT play defense which makes this a great spot for Young and the Hawks.  John Collins has proven massive upside already since returning from his suspension, he’s coming off of a 45 point Draftkings outing against the Rockets in a tough matchup. The Wizards have struggled with big men all season long, tough not to like him again here. Kevin Huerter has 38+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games and has been sneaky consistent, I like him here as well. While Alex Len is an elite GPP option due to his upside and minutes he has been getting, but way too volatile for cash games in a tough matchup. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal is questionable but I’ll operate under the assumption that he’ll play. As long as he isn’t limited he’s a great play and will be in control of this offense with all their injuries. If he’s out we can go right back to Jordan McRae but he may be too expensive if Beal is in. Troy Brown is a bit too volatile for me to like in cash but makes for a nice GPP option coming off one of his better games of the season last time out. The same can be said for Isaiah Thomas, GPP only. Gary Payton is more of a GPP play if Beal sits, he’s been pretty volatile when given an opportunity.

5-star play: Trae Young, John Collins, Bradley Beal, Jordan McRae (If Beal is out)

4-star play: Troy Brown, Isaiah Thomas, Ish Smith, Kevin Huerter

Deeper Value: Gary Payton

GPP Sleeper: Gary Payton, Alex Len

Orlando Magic @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: 216.5

Vegas Spread: Pho -2.0

Starting with the Magic, Nikola Vucevic has 40+ Draftkings points in eight straight games and gets a great matchup here, we’ve been targeting centers against the Suns all season, so why stop now? With Jonathan Isaac out, Aaron Gordon’s minutes are more solidified but on a ten-game slate, he’s more of a GPP option but hasn’t really shown a huge ceiling this season.  Evan Fournier always makes sense for cash games due to his consistency for me. Finally, DJ Augustin and Terrence Ross are good GPP plays to round out this team. From the Suns, Devin Booker has at least 50 Draftkings points in three straight games, I don’t love the matchup but you can’t deny the upside that comes with him. DeAndre Ayton is a pretty consistent 35-45 Draftkings points every night making him very playable for cash games. Kelly Oubre and Ricky Rubio round this game out as GPP options.

5-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Devin Booker

4-star play: Aaron Gordon, Evan Fournier, DeAndre Ayton

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: DJ Augustin, Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre

New Orleans Pelicans @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pelicans, Jrue Holiday is out here which will open up shots and minutes for the rest of this team. With Holiday off the court this season, Brandon Ingram has a 31.1% usage rate and 1.34 fantasy points per minute. We will need to keep an eye on Ingram as well as he comes in questionable after injuring his finger last game. JJ Redick and Josh Hart will also see an increased opportunity here and make sense as secondary options after performing very well last game. Both Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball are in great form here and make for great secondary options and elite GPP options in hopes they stay hot. Especially Lonzo who sees his minutes solidified with Jrue off the court and will do all the ball-handling if Ingram is forced to miss. From the Knicks, Julius Randle is already ruled out here and Marcus Morris is questionable which should open up a ton of minutes so we can go back to the Bobby Portis well here in a good matchup. Mitchell Robinson also sees his minutes solidified but isn’t in the greatest of form, this is a good spot, however. The Pels have struggled with point guards all season which makes Elfrid Payton a great GPP play in my opinion. He has triple-double upside every time he takes the court. Lastly, RJ Barrett isn’t in great form but has proven he can take control of this offense especially against a bad defense.

5-star play: Brandon Ingram, Lonzo Ball, Bobby Portis

4-star play:  Derrick Favors, JJ Redick, Josh Hart, Elfrid Payton, Mitchell Robinson, RJ Barrett

Deeper Value: Jaxson Hayes

GPP Sleeper: Derrick Favors, JJ Redick, Josh Hart, RJ Barrett, Elfrid Payton, Mitchell Robinson

San Antonio Spurs @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 231.5

Vegas Spread:

This game has a very nice implied total, as most Grizzlies games do. This is a nice pace up spot for the Spurs which is something I really seek out when starting my lineup construction process. Starting with the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge has come back down to Earth over his past few games but is averaging 48.9 Draftkings points per game in two games against the Grizzlies this season. DeMar DeRozan is also in good form from a consistency standpoint, he makes sense as a cash game option as you kind of know what to expect from him. I love the price on Dejounte Murray who has scored 28+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games. From the Grizzlies, I like Ja Morant a good amount here. The Spurs have struggled with opposing point guards this season. He’s struggled against them in two matchups, but I’ll go right back to him here. Jaren Jackson is a GPP option because of his price, but he’s flashed some nice upside this season. Jonas Valanciunas has been pretty volatile as of late but flashed a huge ceiling. He’s averaging 38.8 Draftkings points per game in two games against the Spurs this season. Lastly, both Jae Crowder and Dillion Brooks are playing incredible basketball right now, they are both solid here as well.

5-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, Ja Morant

4-star play:  DeMar DeRozan, Dejounte Murray, Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, Dillion Brooks

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson

Los Angeles Lakers @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Lakers, Anthony Davis fell pretty hard on his back last game and is questionable here. I have a feeling he ends up sitting, if he does, LeBron James would become one of the best plays on the slate as he would pick up most of the usage on this team. Kyle Kuzma would also likely draw the start and become a great mid-range option. Keep an eye on him, but that’s just what I’m thinking. If he does play, you can go right back to him with confidence as the coaching staff would believe him to be healthy enough to handle his usual minutes. From the Mavs, Luka Doncic draws a tough matchup here but has proven to be matchup proof. With Kristaps Porzingis off the court this season, Doncic has a 39% usage rate and 1.94 fantasy points per minute. Maxi Kleber has at least 27 Draftkings points in four of his last five games and will help pick up minutes with Porzingis out. Dwight Powell has at least 25 Draftkings points in eight of his last nine games and is in the same boat as Kleber, Powell looked great on Wednesday night for what it’s worth.

5-star play: Luka Doncic, LeBron James, Anthony Davis

4-star play: Dwight Powell, Maxi Kleber, Kyle Kuzma

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dwight Powell, Tim Hardaway

Milwaukee Bucks @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has an insane 37.2% usage rate and 1.85 fantasy points per minute on the season, he’s an elite play in hopes that he can find his way to 30+ minutes. Khris Middleton is back down to a playable price, he’s more of a guy that I want for cash games as he’s a very consistent player. Eric Bledsoe is slowly getting his minutes back, the Kings are not great against opposing point guards so I like him for GPPs. Lastly, Brook Lopez continues to play good basketball and seems to have shaken his poor play earlier this season, I like him for GPPs in hopes that he can get hot from three. From the Kings, Marvin Bagley is questionable here, while Richaun Holmes and Bogdan Bogdanovic are both ruled out. De’Aaron Fox is a nice GPP play option here but I don’t trust him for cash games. Buddy Hield makes a lot of sense here as the Bucks are funneling three’s to opponents, so he could run himself into a few extra long balls here. I also like going back to Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes as they’ll need their size with a few big men already out and needing the length out there to help deal with the length of the Bucks.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play:  Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Harrison Barnes

Golden State Warriors @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Warriors, we have a good amount of injury news to sort thru here. D’Angelo Russell is questionable here so we will want to keep an eye on him. For the sake of this article, I’m going to assume he’s out just because he has been for a while, if he plays he’s a deep GPP option as there may be a minute restriction here. With him off the court, this season Alec Burks leads the team in usage at 24.1% and over a fantasy point per minute which puts him firmly in play. I also like Damion Lee to take a good amount of usage in this offense with his recent production.  Marquese Chriss was let go from the team which will likely mean more minutes for guys like Glenn Robinson but would like him more if Draymond Green was out again (which he’s not). Willie Cauley-Stein played great last game and I would expect his minutes to be around 30 here, I like him at this price tag. From the Clippers, Paul George has already been ruled out for this game, here is who is impacted with George off the court this season…

  • Kawhi Leonard – 36.7% usage rate; 1.58 fpm
  • Lou Williams – 30.2% usage rate; 1.21 fpm
  • Montrezl Harrell – 27.4% usage rate; 1.24 fpm

These three guys are elite plays given the matchup and increased production.

5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

4-star play: Draymond Green, Alec Burks, Damion Lee, Willie Cauley-Stein

Deeper Value: JaMychal Green, Patrick Beverley

GPP Sleeper: Glenn Robinson
