Welcome to the Core 4! My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the article throughout the day as news breaks. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!
Purpose of the Core 4: These four players are guys that I want to lock into my cash game lineups and if doing multi-entry, using the Domination Station lock them in or set high exposure percentages to them. These are players that I see as underpriced, in great matchups, in play because of injuries, increased usage, etc. I also need to mention that these plays are normally geared toward Draftkings pricing and scoring, I’m not a huge fan of NBA for Fanduel, so if you see my list has three small forwards or two centers, etc. it’s because of the multi-position eligibility on Draftkings. With that said, let’s jump right into it!

Russell Westbrook (PG) – $8,400
I’m really going to buy into the revenge game narrative on this one pretty heavily. Westbrook strikes me as a guy that is going to want to do everything to stick it to the city that gave him up. He scored 50.5 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, but that game was at home. I buy much more into revenge games when they are in the “revenge” city which in this case is Oklahoma City. Not only is it a revenge game, but he just feels too cheap here at $8,400, he has some incredible upside at this price tag.
Ben Simmons (PG/SF) – $9,000
I like Simmons quite a bit here as we already know that Joel Embiid has been ruled out. With Embiid off the court this season Simmons has a 19.6% usage rate and 1.16 fantasy points per minute. The usage rate feels a little low so I would expect that to come up a bit but Simmons is in incredible form lately. He has scored at least 49 Draftkings points in three of his last four games and has 50+ Draftkings points in four of his last seven games. I like me some Ben Simmons here.

Tobias Harris (SF/PF) – $7,300
There’s a lot to like about Harris here. As I mentioned with Simmons, Joel Embiid is already ruled out for this one. With Embiid off the court this season Harris has a 26.1% usage rate and 1.21 fantasy points per minute. Not only that but he’s had success against the Celtics already this season averaging a huge 47.1 Draftkings points per game in two games this season. This price tag is too cheap especially with Embiid off the court.
Jarrett Culver (PG/SF) – $5,100
The Timberwolves will host the Portland Trailblazers in a game that should have one of the higher implied totals on the slate. Culver seems like he is finally starting to find his stride in the NBA as he is in great form as of late. He has at least 30 Draftkings in four of his last five games and is too cheap here if he’s going to produce like that. At this point, we don’t have a whole lot of value options on this slate, so my early thought is to go with Culver here due to his form in a great matchup.
Svi Mykhailiuk (SG/SF) – $4,200
As the day has gone on I’ve pretty much jumped ship on Culver and really not getting to him a whole lot. We need to find more value on a slate that really doesn’t have a whole lot. So insert Mr. Mykhailiuk who has seen 30+ minutes in four of his last five games and gets a nice matchup with the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Domination Station loves him and has him at 5.95x projection tonight which is more than playable with the studs I’m trying to jam in. Lastly, the Cavs have a 106% DvP percentage against wings on the season, I like him a good amount here for value.
