Full Court Press:
Brooklyn Nets @ Charlotte Hornets
Vegas Total: 217.5
Vegas Spread: Bkn -2.5
Starting with the Nets, we have seen Spencer Dinwiddie’s price come up over $8k where he probably should be with Kyrie out. He showed a ceiling game against Boston, so we know it’s there but he feels like more of a cash game guy here. Jarrett Allen has also shown some ceiling games as of late, but I don’t love the price tag with DeAndre Jordan active. That said, the Hornets do rank dead last in defense against opposing big men. Which puts DeAndre Jordan into GPP consideration as well. Taurean Prince and Garrett Temple are both GPP plays as well. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is the guy you want on this team right now as he has been Mr. Consistency with a splash of upside as he just put up 63 Draftkings points against the Warriors. The same can be said for Terry Rozier as he is averaging 32.3 Draftkings points per game on the season. Other than those two I really don’t have a lot of interest in this Hornets team.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie, Terry Rozier, Jarrett Allen
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince, Garrett Temple, DeAndre Jordan
Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: 211.5
Vegas Spread: Orl -4.5
Starting with the Magic, Aaron Gordon has actually played better than Jonathan Isaac as of late, but neither is more than GPP plays for me on this large slate. Evan Fournier has put up 30+ Draftkings points in nine of his last ten games, tough not to like that kind of consistency for cash games. Markelle Fultz is interesting as well at his current price tag, Cleveland ranks 24th in defense against opposing point guards on the season. From the Cavs, Kevin Love missed shootaround this morning and is now uncertain for tonight’s game. If he ends up missing this game Larry Nance will be one of the better mid to low range plays on the slate. This also a pretty good matchup for Tristan Thompson, the Magic have struggled with post players with Vucevic off the court. He has had a double-double and gone for 30+ Draftkings points in three straight games. Collin Sexton also has 30+ Draftkings points in three straight, I don’t hate him as a secondary play either.
5-star play: Larry Nance (If Love is out), Tristan Thompson
4-star play: Evan Fournier, Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz, Collin Sexton
Deeper Value: Darius Garland, Jordan Clarkson
GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton

Indiana Pacers @ Detroit Pistons
Vegas Total: 211.5
Vegas Spread: Ind -2.0
Gotta be honest, don’t love this game. But we will start with the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis has seen his price dip but gets a difficult matchup against Blake and Drummond and company. I don’t have any issue with him for cash games. The same can be said for Malcolm Brogdon and Jeremy Lamb although they are more of secondary plays on such a large slate. Lastly, Myles Turner and TJ Warren have both flashed upside this season so they are worth a shot if you’re multi-entering. From the Pistons, in three games against the Pacers this season Andre Drummond has averaged 55.8 Draftkings points per game. Blake Griffin always feels overpriced to me, so I’ll save him for the deepest of GPPs. Derrick Rose has a massive 32% usage rate off the bench, I don’t hate going there for GPPs. Finally, Luke Kennard has been very consistent this season, he’s fine in this game as well.
5-star play: Andre Drummond
4-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Jeremy Lamb
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Blake Griffin, Myles Turner, TJ Warren, Derrick Rose
Washington Wizards @ Miami Heat
Vegas Total: 233
Vegas Spread: Mia -9.0
Starting with the Wizards, the big news we will want to keep an eye on here is the availability of Isaiah Thomas. He was ruled out last night and led to a big Ish Smith game at a minimal price. If Thomas is out again tonight, we can go right back to the well with Smith. Bradley Beal will have to deal with Jimmy Butler on defense, but he’s still a great GPP play due to the number of minutes he plays. I like Rui Hachimura again tonight with Thomas Bryant out for the next few weeks at the very least, that said, it’s not a great matchup. Davis Bertans may be the best player not named Bradley Beal on this team, he has scored 30+ Draftkings points in three straight games. From the Heat, Jimmy Butler has scored 55+ Draftkings points in two straight games and the Wizards rank 25th in defense against opposing two guards on the season. Bam Adebayo hasn’t been in the best form as of late but this is a great bounceback spot for him against a team missing their best big man. Justise Winslow is questionable for this game and Goran Dragic is already ruled out which would open up a ton of minutes for guys like Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro. Both are great plays if Winslow sits, if only Dragic is out then I’m only on Nunn as a pretty solid play.
5-star play: Ish Smith (If Thomas is out), Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo
4-star play: Bradley Beal, Rui Hachimura, Davis Bertans, Kendrick Nunn
Deeper Value: Tyler Herro
GPP Sleeper: Bradley Beal, Davis Bertans
Denver Nuggets @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 205
Vegas Spread: Bos -3.0
This game has the lowest implied total on the slate by a pretty sizable margin which is no surprise since the Nuggets play at a slower pace than a geriatrics center. But we will start with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic has been held under 40 Draftkings points in five straight games, I’ll be fading him until he figures out what he’s doing or his price comes down. Jamal Murray is strictly a GPP play as he has flashed some big upside this season. Will Barton is also a fine GPP play, but that is the extent of my interest in this Nuggets team on a big slate. From the Celtics, Kemba Walker has gone for 50+ Draftkings points in two of his last four games, but this game just doesn’t set up well for fantasy production, he’s a GPP guy. The same can be said for Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown who will see a boost if Marcus Smart ends up sitting who is currently questionable.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Jamal Murray, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jamal Murray, Kemba Walker, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown
Minnesota Timberwolves @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Vegas Total: 220.5
Vegas Spread: Okc -3.0
Starting with the Timberwolves, we just got news that Karl-Anthony Towns and Andrew Wiggins are game-time decisions after being limited in shootaround. For the sake of this article, I will operate under the assumption that they are in but keep an eye on the Breaking News Tab for updates. Karl-Anthony Towns has 50+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games and is a solid play here. Wiggins is also in play as he has gone for 35+ Draftkings points in ten straight games. Jeff Teague is not in great form, I’ll wait for him to start playing better. Robert Covington is more of a GPP guy for me if Wiggins is playing. From the Thunder, Danilo Gallinari has the highest projected point per dollar on this team at 5.8x here and against a bad Wolves defense, I like him. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is starting to bounce back a bit and gets the best matchup in terms of position as the Wolves rank 26th in defense against opposing point guards on the season. This puts Chris Paul in play for GPP as well, as he’s not in the greatest of form. Steven Adams is in great form and I like him regardless of whether or not KAT is available. Dennis Schroeder makes a solid GPP play as well as he has some big upside.
5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns
4-star play: Andrew Wiggins, Danilo Gallinari, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Dennis Schroeder, Steven Adams
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Robert Covington

Golden State Warriors @ Chicago Bulls
Vegas Total: 214
Vegas Spread: Chi -5.0
Starting with the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell will return tonight, there isn’t any word of a minute limit yet but I would tend to take this game as a wait-and-see from many areas of the Warriors. With Russell back, guys like Alec Burks and Ky Bowman will lose a ton of usage along with those bench guys. I will fade most of this backcourt for the time being. Draymond Green is worth a look but really not getting a ton of minutes, while Eric Pascall is getting the heavier minutes and my preferred option. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine dropped 58.8 Draftkings points against the Warriors earlier this season, I’m willing to go back to the well on him. Wendell Carter feels a bit expensive in a tough matchup with Willie Cauley-Stein and Draymond Green but is a good option for GPPs. Tomas Satoransky has 30+ Draftkings in three of his last four games and I don’t mind the price on him. Lauri Markkanen seems to be trending up as he has 27+ Draftkings points in three straight games, I don’t hate him for GPPs but he’s a pretty deep play on a big slate. Finally, as always, Coby White is a solid flyer in GPPs.
5-star play: Zach LaVine
4-star play: Draymond Green, Eric Pascall, Wendell Carter Jr., Lauri Markkanen
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Coby White, Lauri Markkanen
Los Angeles Clippers @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 232
Vegas Spread: Mil -3.5
This is one of my favorite games on the slate due to the total and the likely close nature of this game. Starting with the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard feels way too cheap here as he gets an Eastern Conference rematch against the Bucks. He’s a solid option along with Paul George who has a 32% usage rate on the season. Both Montrezl Harrell and Lou Williams are always solid GPP options especially in up-tempo games like this one. The same can be said for Patrick Beverley. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a 38.9% usage rate on the season which is one of the league leaders making him an elite play in a close game that has been few and far between for this Bucks team, he also has a #BirthdayNarrative. Khris Middleton is still around just 25 minutes but this could be the game he gets up to 30, he’s a nice GPP option. Eric Bledsoe had 34.5 Draftkings points in this matchup last time out and he’s also a GPP option. Finally, Brook Lopez will return here and is also a nice GPP play just in case he gets hot form three.
5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Giannis Antetokounmpo
4-star play: Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, Patrick Beverley
Sacramento Kings @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 215.5
Vegas Spread: Sas -4.0
Starting with the Kings, Buddy Hield has three straight games with 40+ Draftkings points and a 28% usage rate on the season. He’s normally pretty boom-or-bust so I may save him for GPPs here. Richaun Holmes has been in great form and should be able to take advantage of this frontcourt of the Spurs, the same can be said for Nemanja Bjelica. I like the price on Bogdan Bogdanovic if he’s able to play but the minutes don’t seem solidified right now. From the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge will be available here making him a secondary play, I never really love playing guys that return from injuries. DeMar DeRozan will see his usage go down with LMA back, but isn’t a bad secondary play at his price tag. The rest of the Spurs are just flyers for me on a big slate.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Buddy Hield, DeMar DeRozan, Nemanja Bjelica, Richaun Holmes
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Bogdan Bogdanovic
Los Angeles Lakers @ Portland Trail Blazers
Vegas Total: 224.5
Vegas Spread: Lal -4.5
Starting with the Lakers, LeBron James has a higher usage percentage between him and Anthony Davis but both are elite plays here against a Blazers defense that really doesn’t play a whole lot of defense. Rajon Rondo is coming off his best game of the season with 48 Draftkings points, I wouldn’t expect that again but he’s fine for GPPs. From the Blazers, tough to not like Damian Lillard here, he gets up for big games against other superstars, he’s a great option in all formats. Hassan Whiteside has 50+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games but gets a tough matchup against AD here. CJ McCollum is coming off of a 55.5 Draftkings point outing, that type of upside is always there with him but I stick him in the GPP field when Lillard is on the court just because of the usage that Dame demands. It’s tough to believe what Carmelo Anthony has done this season, but he’s definitely in play here. I think he comes out and tries to show his good friend, LeBron, that he’s still willing and able to drop buckets.
5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Damian Lillard
4-star play: Hassan Whiteside, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Rajon Rondo
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo, Hassan Whiteside
