Full Court Press:

Dallas Mavericks @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 218.5

Vegas Spread: Tor -2.5

This is the only game not on the main slate so if you’re wanting to play this one you’ll be stuck with the showdowns. That said, we’ll start with the Mavericks who will be without Luka Doncic again. Kristaps Porzingis has proven to be the biggest beneficiary of Luka Doncic being out. He has four straight games of 51+ Draftkings points. He’s an elite play here. Jalen Brunson has taken over the ball-handling duties for Doncic and has 36+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games. Tim Hardaway is more of a boom-or-bust option, but definitely worth a look in GPPs. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has been ruled out indefinitely which is a huge hit to this team. Not to mention that big man Marc Gasol is out along with Norman Powell as well. Kyle Lowry will likely be the biggest beneficiary in terms of usage, he sees a 37% usage rate and 1.65 fantasy points per minute with Siakam, Powell and Gasol off the court. I would expect Serge Ibaka to see a massive bump as well, he’s seeing 1.2 fantasy points per minute with those two off the court. OG Anunoby and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson should also see extended run with the big men out. Fred VanVleet is a game-time decision here if he plays and is without a minute restriction I like him a good bit.

5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Kyle Lowry

4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Serge Ibaka, OG Anunoby, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Fred VanVleet

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Rondae Hollis-Jefferson

Charlotte Hornets @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total: 210

Vegas Spread: Bos -13.0

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham hasn’t been in the greatest form as of late but still has an elite ceiling. I don’t know that I love him in this matchup but he’s worth a flyer in GPPs. Terry Rozier has been the better of the two guards over the past few games and gets a little revenge game here against his old squad. Really none of these Hornets guys grade out too well in the Research Station so guys like Cody Zeller and Miles Bridges are more GPP guys for me. From the Celtics, Kemba Walker is in a pretty good matchup here, but he struggled in it earlier this season. I still like him on this slate. Gordon Hayward is questionable while Marcus Smart is still out for this matchup if they’re out both Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown are solid secondary plays here against a pretty bad defense. Lastly, Enes Kanter is in good form and the Hornets have nobody in the frontcourt to stop anyone with any sort of size.

5-star play: Kemba Walker, Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier

4-star play: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Cody Zeller

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Cody Zeller, Miles Bridges, Enes Kanter

Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -8.5

Starting with the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis is questionable for this game but for the sake of this article we will operate under the assumption that he’s in. Malcolm Brogdon gets a revenge game against the team that drafted him. He’s probably too cheap here and if Sabonis sits I’ll be pretty close to all-in on him. Myles Turner has 30+ Draftkings points in three straight games and scored 44 Draftkings points against the Bucks earlier this season, he’s in a good spot here. TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb are GPP flyers. From the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo has a 38.2% usage rate on the season and 1.97 fantasy points per minute. The only issue with him is he doesn’t usually see his max minutes because the Bucks blow everyone out. He’s an elite play regardless. The Pacers rank first in defense against opposing shooting guards so maybe this isn’t the greatest spot for Khris Middleton. Donte DiVincenzo’s price keeps climbing but he has been performing very well, he’s a nice GPP option with Eric Bledsoe still out. Both Brook Lopez and George Hill are GPP options as well, Lopez is in pretty good form over his past two games.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Myles Turner, Khris Middleton, Donte DiVincenzo

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez, Jeremy Lamb, TJ Warren

Los Angeles Clippers @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: Lac -2.5

Starting with the Clippers, it sounds like Kawhi Leonard will miss this game which will open up usage and minutes for the rest of this team. Paul George will be a priority here for me, not only does he see increased usage but gets a revenge game against his old team back in his old city. With Kawhi off the court, Paul George has a 35.5% usage rate and 1.6 fantasy points per minute. Both Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell see a usage rate of 30%+ as well, both are great options here. Patrick Beverley makes sense as a last guy to fill out your lineup. From the Thunder, Chris Paul continues to be a consistent producer ad makes a lot of sense for cash games here. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the more GPP guy as his floor is much lower than CP3’s. Steven Adams should be able to do whatever he wants down low here, I like him quite a bit as a mid-range center option against a Clippers team that really struggles against big men. Lastly, both Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroeder make sense as GPP guys here.

5-star play: Paul George, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

4-star play: Chris Paul, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander

Deeper Value: Mo Harkless

GPP Sleeper: Steven Adams, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder

Denver Nuggets @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 208.0

Vegas Spread: Lal -3.5

Starting with the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic feels too cheap given the form he has been in, however this is not a good matchup and it is one that he struggled with already this season. Jamal Murray has an elite upside every night he steps on the court, I don’t love the price but he’s a solid GPP guy. The same can be said for Will Barton. Lastly, Gary Harris and Paul Millsap are fine options to round out your lineups. From the Lakers, it sounds like LeBron James will out for this game making Anthony Davis a priority for me at his price tag. With LeBron off the court this season AD has a 38% usage rate and 1.77 fantasy points per minute. Other than him there really isn’t much on this team that I love but you can make a case for Rajon Rondo and Kyle Kuzma in GPPs.

5-star play: Anthony Davis, Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Jamaal Murray, Will Barton, Rajon Rondo

Deeper Value: Kyle Kuzma

GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo, Will Barton, Gary Harris, Paul Millsap
