Full Court Press:

Utah Jazz @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 210

Vegas Spread: UTH -6.0

From the Jazz, Rudy Gobert should dominate here, as the Hornets can’t rebound and have been getting killed by bigs all year long. The Hornets don’t have anyone that can box him out down low so he should have an easy double double here. Donovan Mitchell isn’t my favorite option here at this price tag, but he’s always worth a look in GPPs. With Conley out for the foreseeable future, point Mitchell will be a thing again, the matchup is much better here today than it was in his last game. Bojan Bogdanovic has proven himself as an elite scorer this season, and he gets a solid matchup against the Hornets here who allow a ton of FPs to basically every position. Joe Ingles becomes playable again here as he’ll likely slide into the starting lineup again with Conley out and it should secure his minutes at around the 30 minute range.

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham has one of the higher floors in this game if not the highest. I like him a good deal here especially with Conley out. Terry Rozier feels like Devonte’ Graham Lite, but a bit more volatile. With PJ Washington out, Cody Zeller slid into the starting lineup but I don’t really like the matchup for him here. Lastly, Miles Bridges makes sense as a secondary cash option. Marvin Williams and Malik Monk are also viable here for value with PJ Washington out with surgery.

5-star plays: Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell

4-star plays: Devonte Graham, Terry Rozier, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Joe Ingles, Malik Monk, Marvin Williams

GPP Sleeper: Malik Monk

Atlanta Hawks @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: 228

Vegas Spread: BKN -7.5

For the Hawks, Trae Young is coming off of a 50 burger and should be able to do what he pleases here, he is an elite play in all formats as the Nets are allowing a ton of FPs to opposing PGs and he should smash here. Jabari Parker should play here, he went back to coming off the bench and had a lot more success last game as he dominated usage with the second unit, I’ll actually like him more if he comes off the bench. Alex Len continues to play well and has 20+ FanDuel points in seven of his last nine games, I actually like him quite a bit here and hoping he can keep getting good minutes and he should feast on a weak interior Nets team when he is in. De’Andre Hunter is getting big minutes and is a GPP option considering the small slate.

From the Nets, Kyrie Irving continues to be out, so fire up Spencer Dinwiddie who is one of the safer options on the slate in this matchup. Trae Young is not known for his defense, so it is very safe to fire up Dinwiddie here. Jarrett Allen has also been hot over the past week, but was slowed down by the Spurs like we expected, but the matchup is good here as the Hawks are pretty weak on the interior. I’ll have some interest in Caris LeVert if he returns as well as he’s pretty cheap everywhere. Wilson Chandler is also in play for value here as he’s dirt cheap and his minutes are trending upward.

5-star play: Trae Young, Spencer Dinwiddie

4-star play: Jarrett Allen, Jabari Parker

Deeper Value: Alex Len, Caris LeVert, Wilson Chandler, De’Andre Hunter, Cam Reddish

GPP Sleeper: Alex Len, Wilson Chandler

Washington Wizards @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: TBD

From the Wizards, Bradley Beal smashed again last night, playing 39 minutes and taking 24 shots and he should take another 20+ tonight. With Wagner, Bryant, and Hachimura all out Davis Bertans and Ian Mahinmi should get all the minutes they can handle here. Mahinmi can’t stay on the floor like Bertans can but is still a solid play at this price tag. Isaiah Thomas has looked solid as well since returning, but he gets a difficult matchup against the Sixers and Ben Simmons here. He’s a solid GPP option but not one I’m going out of my way to play. This game looks rough on paper but the Wizards tend to hang around in games like this and push the pace.

From the Sixers, Joel Embiid is in good form as of late and will take on a severely undersized Wizards front court. He smashed last night and should be able to do whatever he wants down low tonight, unless the Sixers decide to rest him on the 2nd half of the B2B. This is a good spot for Ben Simmons who will likely see some IT2 on defense who he towers over, he feels a little overpriced on FanDuel though. Both Tobias Harris and Al Horford are solid secondary options here as well who will become priorities if the Sixers decide to rest Embiid.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, Bradley Beal, Ben Simmons

4-star play: Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Davis Bertans, Isaiah Thomas, Ian Mahimni

Deeper Value: Isaiah Thomas

GPP Sleeper: Ish Smith

Chicago Bulls @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: DET -5.5

Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine has 40+ FanDuel points in five of his last six games and makes sense as a great play against a bad Pistons defense who can’t defend the perimeter. Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter should be able to do whatever they want here as well, even if Blake Griffin suits up for this one. Kris Dunn and Tomas Satoransky are both getting good amount of run right now and have been playing well, both are decent secondary GPP options in this matchup in what should be a faster paced, competitive game.

From the Pistons, Andre Drummond killed a lot of us last night, as he didn’t smash in a smash spot with no Blake, I don’t mind going right back to him here as people will be off of him due to recency bias and the Bulls have been getting crushed down low by opposing big men. Derrick Rose has been playing well recently, and he gets a solid matchup here, that will be boosted if Luke Kennard is out again tonight. Blake Griffin is in terrible form right now and this isn’t a matchup that I want to go back to him, even if he does play as its clear that he’s playing hurt and he sat out last night against the Celtics. I’ll wait until he starts playing better. If Kennard is out, Langston Galloway makes sense as a deeper GPP play as well, but he is risky as he is scoring dependent. If Blake misses again Markieff Morris should get a ton of run as well here so keep an eye out for news.

5-star play: Zach LaVine, Andre Drummond

4-star play: Derrick Rose, Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter Jr.

Deeper Value: Langston Galloway, Markieff Morris

GPP Sleeper: Markieff Morris, Langston Galloway

Milwaukee Bucks @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: MIL -12.5

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is a GTD decision right now, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucks rest him here, as this Knicks team really doesn’t have much of a shot here. However, if he does play I won’t really be on him due to the blowout risk here as I don’t like to predict them, but if Giannis plays I don’t see a way the Knicks hang here. Khris Middleton seems to have made it back up to the 30-minute mark and he’s a solid play here with Bledsoe out for the next few weeks and will become an elite play if Giannis is out as well. Eric Bledsoe has already been ruled out for this game, meaning that Donte DiVincenzo will likely draw the start again here like he had been when Bledsoe was out last week. For GPPs, Brook Lopez, also sees a boost here with Bledsoe out, who you hope can get hot from three. George Hill will also be popular here for value on a small slate, and he should see 20+ minutes with Bledsoe out and any garbage time minutes.

From the Knicks, Julius Randle draws a tougher matchup here, especially if Giannis plays, I won’t really be on any of the Knicks here tonight.  Mitchell Robinson has six straight games of at least 25 minutes, if he’s going to get that kind of minutes I like him a good amount, he’s an elite per-minute producer this season and if he comes off the bench he won’t be getting pulled away from the basket by Lopez. RJ Barrett is in terrible form… but he’s still pretty cheap so he is playable if you want to go there. Lastly, Elfrid Payton has played at least 17 minutes and was up in the mid 20’s a few games ago, if he’s going to get consistent minutes he will become one of my favorite options on this team. He’s known to put up big fantasy days when given the opportunity, and his minutes should be blowout proof.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Khris Middleton (if Giannis sits)

4-star play: Khris Middleton (if Giannis plays), Julius Randle, Mitchell Robinson, Brook Lopez, RJ Barrett

Deeper Value: Donte DiVincenzo, George Hill, Elfrid Payton

GPP Sleeper: George Hill, Elfrid Payton

Sacramento Kings @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: SAC -1.5

Starting with the Kings, De’Aaron Fox has looked really good since returning, although I think they limit him a bit here on the 2nd half of a B2B, so we’ll have to wait and see. If he is a full go I have some interest in him here in what should be a fast paced game against a turnover prone rookie. Marvin Bagley topped 27 minutes last night and scored 32 FanDuel points, if they play him in the 2nd half of a B2B here, he’s way too cheap on FanDuel at $4,700. Buddy Hield is playing great basketball right now and really doesn’t see a huge usage drop with Fox on the court, and if Bogdanovic is out again he becomes a great play as well. Both Harrison Barnes and Bogdan Bogdanovic (if he plays) make sense as secondary options while Nemanja Bjelica is more of a GPP guy.

Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is in pretty good form and I don’t hate the price, still more of a GPP option however as Fox is a solid defender and should be able to pick his pocket a few times, although Ja almost ended Kevin Love’s career last night. Both Jaren Jackson and Jonas Valanciunas are GPP plays for me as they have flashed ceiling games but really haven’t been up there consistently. Dillion Brooks is in great form as well and makes sense as a secondary play as he crushed last night. Jae Crowder tends to also play better in these pace up games as he should see more secondary stats and is cheap as well.

5-star play: None

4-star play: De’Aaron Fox, Marvin Bagley, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson, Jonas Valanciunas, Buddy Hield

Deeper Value: Dillon Brooks, Harrison Barnes, Nemanja Bjelica

GPP Sleeper: Dillon Brooks, Jae Crowder

Los Angeles Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 224.5

Vegas Spread: LAC -5.5

For the Clippers, both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are in great spots here as they lead this team with usage pretty handily. You get the “Kawhi Revenge Game” narrative as well against his old Spurs team where things didn’t end on the best of terms. However, Kawhi isn’t really the vengeful type with how mellow he is. They both draw elite matchups in a fast-paced game against a Spurs team that has really been struggling defensively this year. The same can be said for Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell who are both secondary plays but great for GPPs. Patrick Beverley is also in play here, as the Spurs have been bleeding FPs to opposing PGs all year long and he is pretty cheap everywhere, especially on FanDuel.

From the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge will be available here making him a secondary play, as the matchup is there, but he really hasn’t shown that 50+ FP ceiling that we know when he gets hot. But this matchup is as good as it gets against the Clippers who are getting hammered by opposing bigs this year. This should be a high scoring game though, as its one of the few totals thats been released and its over 220. DeMar DeRozan will firmly be in play for GPPs here as the Spurs will need him and Aldridge to score here in order to keep pace. Dejounte Murray is going to be in play here as well, I just wish Pop would give him 30 minutes as his ceiling is sky high with how efficient he is, but the matchup isn’t the greatest against Bev here. If he gets the start again you can also fire up Derrick White as a deeper GPP value play.

5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George

4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar Derozan, Dejounte Murray, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

Deeper Value: Derrick White, Patty Mills

GPP Sleeper: Lou Williams

Houston Rockets @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: HOU -5.5

Starting with the Rockets, James Harden is going to be elite in all formats here as the Suns play at a fast paced with little to no defense. Clint Capela also draws a solid matchup here if Ayton plays, but the matchup won’t be as good if he sits as he’ll have to face off against Aron Baynes. Russell Westbrook has actually looked pretty good as of late and he draws a solid matchup as well against Rubio, and this could be one of his takeover type games as well. Still, he’s firmly in play for GPPs. Both Ben McLemore and PJ Tucker are playing big minutes right now and are solid last guy in plays. Danuel House has been playing well as of late and is cheap as well.

Starting with the Suns, Devin Booker is questionable here, for the sake of this article I’ll operate under the assumption that he’s in. If he plays I think he’s a great option but I don’t trust that hand right now, this will be a wait-and-see game for me, but the matchup against Harden is there and Booker played last night so he should be good to go here. Ricky Rubio is playing a ton of minutes and playing very well as of late. Rubio is one of my favorite options on the slate if Booker ends up sitting. Kelly Oubre has been playing really well lately, and should bounce back after the Suns let down games against OKC last night, I like him as a GPP option here, we know he has an elite ceiling. Lastly, Frank Kaminsky and Dario Saric may be fades here if Ayton plays, but I’ll have some interest in Frank if Ayton ends up sitting. Aron Baynes will also be playable if Ayton sits.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook

4-star play: Clint Capela, Devin Booker, Ricky Rubio, Kelly Oubre

Deeper Value: Aron Baynes, Ben McLemore, Danuel House, PJ Tucker

GPP Sleeper: PJ Tucker

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Portland Trailblazers

Vegas Total: TBD

Vegas Spread: POR -6.5

From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns has sat out the last two games so we don’t know what to expect here, so for the article we’ll say he plays. If he plays he’s an elite play in all formats as the Trailblazers can’t defend bigs to save their lives as Whiteside is just really bad defensively. Andrew Wiggins has found some consistency this season, he’s in a great spot here as well especially if KAT ends up sitting as he’ll dominate usage. Jeff Teague has been playing really well lately as well, and he’s an even better play if KAT ends up sitting. Lastly, Robert Covington is a fine GPP option to fill in the last of your lineups. If KAT sits Gorgui Dieng also becomes a really solid value play as well.

From the Blazers, this is a spot that Damian Lillard should be able to take advantage of. This Wolves team doesn’t has been getting crushed by opposing PGs this year and he’s been playing well as of late. Carmelo Anthony also went out with an injury last night, so if he ends up sitting here Dame becomes even more of an elite play. Hassan Whiteside is smashing everyone in sight lately, and I’ll like the matchup more if KAT plays as Dieng is actually pretty tough defensively. CJ McCollum is a guy I never really get to when Lillard is active but I don’t hate him as a secondary guy here, especially if Carmelo is out. Carmelo Anthony is a nice GPP play if he suits up, as he shoots a ton and is actually getting good rebound numbers. Kent Bazemore makes sense as a value option if Melo does end up sitting after injuring his knee last night.

5-star play: Karl Anthony-Towns (if he plays), Damian Lillard, Andrew Wiggins (if KAT sits)

4-star play: Hassan Whiteside, CJ McCollum, Jeff Teague, Robert Covington, Carmelo Anthony (if he plays)

Deeper Value: Kent Bazemore, Gorgui Dieng (if KAT sits)

GPP Sleeper: Gorgui Dieng (if KAT sits), Kent Bazemore (if Melo sits)
