Full Court Press:
Chicago Bulls @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine has 43+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games and makes sense as a great play against a bad Wizards defense here. I don’t love this game so I won’t go crazy but he’s worth a shot. Lauri Markkanen and Wendell Carter should be able to do whatever they want here. The Wizards have now lost Thomas Bryant, Mo Wagner, and now Rui Hachimura. This team is incredibly undersized and under-skilled right now, this is a great spot for the big men. Kris Dunn and Tomas Satoransky are both getting good amount of run right now and have been playing well, both are decent secondary GPP options in this matchup. From the Wizards, Bradley Beal has 56+ Draftkings points in two straight games, he’s an elite play at this price tag. With Wagner, Bryant, and Hachimura all out Davis Bertans and Ian Mahinmi should get all the minutes they can handle here. Mahinmi can’t stay on the floor like Bertans can but is still a solid play at this price tag. Isaiah Thomas wasted no time returning to form coming off of a 36 point Draftkings night last time out. He’s a solid GPP option here as well.
5-star play: Zach LaVine, Bradley Beal
4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter, Davis Bertans, Isaiah Thomas, Ian Mahinmi
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Kris Dunn, Tomas Satoransky, Isaiah Thomas
Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 212
Vegas Spread: Phi -7.0
Starting with the Heat, Jimmy Butler didn’t have a great game in this revenge spot for him last time in this matchup. He scored just 25.3 Draftkings points but is in much better form now. He’s a secondary option on this slate. Bam Adebayo just continues to rack up huge games and now has at least 49 Draftkings points in five of his last six games. I’m not worried about the matchup with Embiid here, I’ll have some Adebayo. I don’t like Kendrick Nunn’s price tag on Draftkings but I won’t talk you off of him and Tyler Herro for tournaments with Winslow and Dragic still out. From the Sixers, Joel Embiid is in good form as of late and dropped 49 Draftkings points on this Heat team earlier this season, he’s a great play here. This is a tough spot for Ben Simmons who will likely see some Butler defense here, he feels over priced. Both Tobias Harris and Al Horford are solid secondary options here as well.
5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo, Joel Embiid
4-star play: Kendrick Nunn, Tyler Herro, Tobias Harris, Al Horford
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Ben Simmons
Charlotte Hornets @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total: 213.5
Vegas Spread: Cle -3.5
Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham has one of the higher floors in this game if not the highest. I like him a good deal here. Terry Rozier feels like Devonte’ Graham Lite, but a bit more volatile. I like going back to Rozier after he put up a decent bouce back game against the Nets last night. With PJ Washington out, Cody Zeller slid into the starting lineup and dropped at least 37 Draftkings points since joining the starting five, I like going right back to the well here. Lastly, Miles Bridges makes sense as a secondary cash option. From the Cavs, Kevin Love is my guy here, the Hornets don’t exactly have someone who matches up with him well. Tristan Thompson feels pretty fairly priced here and should be able to take advantage of this front-court. Darius Garland, Collin Sexton and Jordan Clarkson make sense as deep GPP plays if you’re multi-entering.
5-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Kevin Love
4-star play: Terry Rozier, Cody Zeller, Tristan Thompson
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Darius Garland, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson
Toronto Raptors @ Detroit Pistons
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam is in great form and is averaging 50 Draftkings points per game over the past three games. Its’ not a great matchup as Blake and Drummond are expected to play here, but the price on him is pretty fair. Kyle Lowry is getting right around 40 minutes per game and against a bad defense, I have no issue going with him here. Fred VanVleet is doubtful here vaulting Norman Powell into play as a solid mid-range option who is coming off of a massive 50 point Draftkings night. Marc Gasol came back down to Earth after scoring 39+ Draftkings points in three straight games, this is a tough matchup, I will go elsewhere. From the Pistons, Andre Drummond dropped 54 Draftkings points in this spot last time out, I don’t mind going right back to him here coming off of his weird eye situation that kept him out last game. Derrick Rose has two straight games with 43+ Draftkings points, he’s a solid secondary GPP option here. Blake Griffin is in terrible form right now and this isn’t a matchup that I want to go back to him. I’ll wait until he starts playing better. With Blake back I’m hesitant to go back to Luke Kennard, not huge on him here.
5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Kyle Lowry, Andre Drummond
4-star play: Norman Powell, Derrick Rose
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Marc Gasol, Luke Kennard, Blake Griffin

New Orleans Pelicans @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Vegas Total:

I would expect this game to have one of the highest, if not, the highest totals on the slate. Neither of these teams play a whole lot of defenses making it great for DFS. From the Pels, Brandon Ingram is in a great matchup here, he may get some Covington defense, but still tough for me to not like Ingram here. Jrue Holiday has been very consistent as of late and I don’t see that stopping here, fire up some Holiday here. Lonzo Ball should see some extra minutes here if JJ Redick is ruled out again, as he saw the start last night in this situation. That said, it sounds like Redick may be able to go here, if so I’ll fade Lonzo. Lastly, I like the price on Josh Hart who has played 30+ minutes very consistently as of late, he’s in play whether Redick plays or not. From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns is currently questionable here but we will assume he plays for the sake of this article. He has 60+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games and the Pels have nobody that will be able to guard him. Andrew Wiggins has found some consistency this season, he’s in a great spot here as well. Jeff Teague is averaging 37.25 Draftkings points per game over his last five, I like the price tag on him in a good matchup. Lastly, Robert Covington is a fine GPP option to fill in the last of your lineups.
5-star play: Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday, Karl-Anthony Towns
4-star play: JJ Redick, Andrew Wiggins, Jeff Teague
Deeper Value: Josh Hart
GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball, Robert Covington
Memphis Grizzlies @ Oklahoma City Thunder
Vegas Total: 219.5
Vegas Spread: OKC -6.5
Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is in pretty good form and I don’t hate the price, still more of a GPP option however. Both Jaren Jackson and Jonas Valanciunas are GPP plays for me as they have flashed ceiling games but really haven’t been up there consistently. Dillion Brooks is in great form as well and makes sense as a secondary play. From the Thunder, Chris Paul continues to be a consistent producer ad makes a lot of sense for cash games here. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is the more GPP guy as his floor is much lower than CP3’s. Steven Adams should be able to do whatever he wants down low here, I like him quite a bit as mid-range center option. Lastly, both Danilo Gallinari and Dennis Schroeder make sense as GPP guys here.
5-star play: Chris Paul
4-star play: Ja Morant, Jonas Valanciunas, Jaren Jackson, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jonas Valanciunas, Ja Morant, Jaren Jackson, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Dennis Schroeder

Orlando Magic @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Talk about a stinker of a game… I don’t see myself getting to anyone in this one with a whole lot of ownership as I expect it to have the lowest total on the slate. Starting with the Magic, I actually like the price tag on Nikola Vucevic, the matchup sucks but he’s too cheap for his talent. Jonathan Isaac has been in good form, but again not a good matchup. Aaron Gordon, Markelle Fultz, and Evan Fournier are all GPP options here but I don’t love any of them. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic has 50+ Draftkings points in two straight games and is in great form, still more of a GPP option considering the matchup. Both Jamal Murray and Will Barton have shown great ceilings this season but the volatility is alarming, not huge on the rest of this team.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Nikola Vucevic, Nikola Jokic
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jonathan Isaac, Jamal Murray, Will Barton
Boston Celtics @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 218.5
Vegas Spread: Bos -2.0
Starting with the Celtics, Kemba Walker dropped 47 fanatasy points in this matchup earlier this season and with Doncic off the court the matchup becomes even better. Jayson Tatum is questionable here but I would tend to lean that he plays, I don’t hate the price tag on him. Both Gordon Hayward and Jaylen Brown have been volatile as of late, they are more of GPP options on this bigger slate. From the Mavericks, they will be without Luka Doncic for the second straight game. With Doncic off the court, this may be the time when Kristaps Porzingis gets things going. He has a 33% usage rate and 1.52 fantasy points per minute with Doncic off the court this season, he is an elite play coming off of a 53 Draftkings point game against the Bucks. In terms of who slides into the starting lineup, I would expect it to be Jalen Brunson with Tim Hardaway and Seth Curry picking up some extra shots as well. Brunson has a 23% usage rate while Hardaway has a 25% usage rate with Doncic off the court. Of the two I would much prefer Hardaway and Brunson as safer options.
5-star play: Kristaps Porzingis, Kemba Walker
4-star play: Jalen Brunson, Tim Hardaway, Gordon Hayward, Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown
Deeper Value: Seth Curry
GPP Sleeper: Gordon Hayward, Jaylen Brown, Tim Hardaway
Golden State Warriors @ Portland Trailblazers
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is tough to predict right now as he has been very inconsistent. With that said, I do like this spot for him and the price tag is fair. He’s an elite GPP play against a team that doesn’t play a lot of defense. Draymond Green came back down to Earth last game, I don’t hate him here, but more of a GPP guy as well. Alec Burks continues to play well even with Russell in the lineup, I like him as a secondary option. Lastly, Willie Cauley-Stein is a solid value for GPPs. From the Blazers, this is a spot that Damian Lillard should be able to take advantage of. This Warriors team doesn’t play great defense so Lillard should be able to do what he likes, he scored 51 Draftkings points in this game earlier this season. The same can be said for Hassan Whiteside who is smashing everyone in sight lately. He has 40+ Draftkings points in six of his last seven games, I love him here. CJ McCollum is a guy I never really get to when Lillard is active but I don’t hate him as a secondary guy here. Carmelo Anthony is a nice GPP play as he shoots a ton and is actually getting good rebound numbers while Kent Bazemore makes sense as a value option.
5-star play: Damian Lillard, Hassan Whiteside, D’Angelo Russell
4-star play: CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony, Draymond Green, Alec Burks, Willie Cauley-Stein
Deeper Value: Kent Bazemore
GPP Sleeper: Carmelo Anthony, Kent Bazemore, Willie Cauley-Stein, Draymond Green
