Full Court Press:

Orlando Magic @ New Orleans Pelicans

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Magic, this is a huge pace up spot for them at +6.5 so targeting them opposed to the Pels may be the better idea here. Evan Fournier continues to be Mr. Consistent. He’s really never a guy that I sent out to have, but if you fall on him I don’t mind him one bit. Nikola Vucevic is currently questionable here if he plays I won’t have any interest in him as I would expect him to be limited but it will take some usage and minutes away from the rest of the frontcourt. This is the type of game I like targeting Aaron Gordon in, fastpaced where he can show off his athleticism. Both Jonathan Isaac and Markelle Fultz aren’t in the greatest of form, but I don’t hate them if you’re playing the two-game slate. Lastly, Terrence Ross makes sense as a GPP guy. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has bounced back over his past few games, that said I don’t know if I love the matchup, however, he’s a very consistent producer on a short slate. Jrue Holiday is a pretty consistent 35-40 Draftkings points right now, I don’t hate him here as a secondary play. Lonzo Ball has been all over the place, he’s a GPP play simply due to the fact he’s a triple-double threat every time he takes the court. JJ Redick is a solid GPP play as well and is one of the teams better outside scoring threats.

5-star play:  Brandon Ingram, Evan Fournier

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick, Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac, Markelle Fultz

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball, Terrence Ross

Charlotte Hornets @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham is the guy right now on this team, he’s shown a big ceiling and is producing at a consistent clip. I like him here on a short slate. Terry Rozier scored 36.3 Draftkings points in their only matchup with the Pacers this season, I don’t mind going back to the well there. Miles Bridges has scored 26+ Draftkings points in four straight games, he’s a nice cash option. The same can be said for Cody Zeller. From the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis just continues to play great basketball, he’s priced very nice and is an elite spot here. Malcolm Brogdon has had two straight monster games at 47+ Draftkings points each, this is another good matchup for him. The rest of this team is GPP plays for me, although TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb make a lot of sense if you’re trying to run some sort of game stack.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Devonte’ Graham

4-star play: TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb, Miles Bridges, Cody Zeller

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb, Myles Turner

Philadelphia 76ers @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Sixers, centers against Brooklyn are something I’ve been targeting all season long so why stop now? I love this spot for Joel Embiid at under $10k in a great matchup. Ben Simmons feels a bit pricey here, but the Nets rank dead last in defense against opposing guards. I still don’t like the price but you can make a case for him especially on a short slate. Tobias Harris has 40+ Draftkings points in six of his last seven games and is too cheap here especially if Al Horford winds up sitting. The Horford news is something we will want to keep an eye on as he is currently questionable. If he’s active I don’t hate him as long as he’s not limited at all. From the Nets, Spencer Dinwiddie continues to play super consistent basketball, love him for cash games. Jarrett Allen may have a tough time with Joel Embiid here, I may way for a better matchup to target him. Taurean Prince has been playing some good basketball and they will need him today, he’s scored 30+ Draftkings points in five of his last six games.

5-star play: Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris, Spencer Dinwiddie

4-star play: Al Horford, Ben Simmons, Jarrett Allen, Taurean Prince

Deeper Value: Mike Scott

GPP Sleeper: Joe Harris, Taurean Prince, Jarrett Allen, Garrett Temple

Los Angeles Lakers @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Lakers, it’s really pretty simple. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the guys you want on this team and should be able to manhandle to do what they usually do here. LeBron is currently questionable so if he sits AD would basically become a free square on this team and would open up usage for other guys but for now we will assume he’s in. LeBron James feels like he has the higher floor right now, but AD’s ceiling feels a bit higher. Both are elite plays night in and night out. The rest of this team is GPP plays at best. From the Hawks, Trae Young dropped 46.3 Draftkings points in their first matchup with the Lakers, he has an elite ceiling and I don’t mind going right back to him here. This is a tough matchup for Jabari Parker but he was able to score 32 Draftkings points in their previous matchup and they will need him again today, so he’s not the worst option. Alex Len has played very well in limited minutes as of late, they may need his extra size down low with AD so he maybe he sees a few more minutes here, I like him for GPP regardless. De’Andre Hunter also makes sense for GPPs.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Trae Young

4-star play: Jabari Parker, Alex Len

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo, DeAndre Hunter, Alex Len

New York Knicks @ Denver Nuggets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

This is one ugly game for DFS, let me tell ya. Starting with the Knicks, is it bad to say I have zero interest in this team against a great defensive Nuggets team? Julius Randle and Marcus Morris are fine GPP options as they are the ones who see consistent minutes in the 30’s. Mitchell Robinson as well as he’s a pretty elite point per minute guy. Lastly, RJ Barrett has been riding a roller coaster over the past few games, so he’s boom-or-bust here… leaning bust. From the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic is coming off of his best game of the season I don’t mind chasing those points on a short slate at this price tag. Jamal Murray is a solid play here as well, I probably like him more for GPPs though, he’s been a bit all over the place recently. Will Barton has been putting up big numbers as of late, he’s an elite GPP option. Lastly, if Paul Millsap is out again you can go right back to the Jerami Grant train.

5-star play: Nikola Jokic

4-star play: Jamal Murray, Will Barton, Jerami Grant (If Millsap out), Julius Randle, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Julius Randle, Marcus Morris, Will Barton, Mitchell Robinson

Sacramento Kings @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Kings, Buddy Hield has 40+ Draftkings points in seven of his last eight games and is playing great basketball right now. The price has come up on him but in this matchup on a short slate, I think it’s warranted. Bogdan Bogdanovic seems like he is finally healthy and getting his usual minutes, I like him at this price tag. Marvin Bagley saw 20 minutes in his first game back and similar to that in his second game. I would expect this to slowly increase which hurts Richaun Holmes the most, both are fades for me. Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes are secondary plays here as well. From the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is right back up to where he should be in minutes and is priced nicely here. He gets all the usage in this offense, I love him in this spot. Eric Pascall and Draymond Green both missed last game which caused Marquese Chriss to go bananas, but I would expect at least one of them to be back here. Alec Burks hasn’t seen his minutes impacted by Russell coming back and looks like he will continue to be a viable DFS option on this team and I actually like his price here. Finally, Glenn Robinson is playing good basketball and makes sense as a GPP option.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Buddy Hield

4-star play: Alec Burks, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Nemanja Bjelica

Deeper Value: Willie Cauley-Stein, Marquese Chriss

GPP Sleeper: Glenn Robinson, Willie Cauley-Stein, Marquese Chriss
