Full Court Press:

Indiana Pacers @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 222.5

Vegas Spread: Ind -6.0

Starting with the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis just continues to play great basketball, he’s priced very nice and is an elite spot here. Malcolm Brogdon had a huge game last time out and I don’t mind chasing it against this bad Hawks defense. The rest of this team is GPP plays for me, although TJ Warren and Jeremy Lamb make a lot of sense if you’re trying to run some sort of game stack. From the Hawks, Trae Young had 62.8 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, elite play in all formats. Jabari Parker has had 32+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games, that said he’s more of a GPP guy on this slate. Both De’Andre Hunter and Alex Len have flashed some upside as of late and I won’t talk you off of them for tournaments.

5-star play: Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon, Trae Young

4-star play: TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb, Jabari Parker

Deeper Value: Alex Len, Kevin Huerter

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Jeremy Lamb, Alex Len, Kevin Huerter, Myles Turner

Los Angeles Lakers @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Lakers, it’s really pretty simple. LeBron James and Anthony Davis are the guys you want on this team and should be able to manhandle to do what they usually do here. LeBron James feels like he has the higher floor right now, but AD’s ceiling feels a bit higher. Both are elite plays night in and night out. The rest of this team is GPP plays at best. From the Heat, this team went bonkers on Wednesday night, but they get a tougher matchup tonight. Jimmy Butler has 55+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games and has become one of the more consistent producers in DFS this season. Bam Adebayo has at least 52 Draftkings points in three straight games but will have a tall task as he matches up with Anthony Davis here. Kendrick Nunn should be right up near that 40-minute mark again here with Winslow, Dragic, and possibly Herro all out. Lastly, I’m not chasing the 50 burger from Duncan Robinson on a 9-game slate.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Jimmy Butler, Kendrick Nunn

4-star play: Bam Adebayo

Deeper Value: Alex Caruso

GPP Sleeper: Rajon Rondo, Bam Adebayo

Los Angeles Clippers @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Clippers, both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George are in great spots here as they lead this team with usage pretty handily. They both draw elite matchups in a fast-paced game against a Twolves team that doesn’t have a whole lot of interest in playing defense. The same can be said for Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell who are both secondary plays but great for GPPs. From the Timberwolves, Jeff Teague has scored at least 52 Draftkings points in two of his last four games and is worth a GPP look simply due to the form he has been in. Karl-Anthony Towns is someone I love getting to when he’s priced under $10k and center is the one position that this Clippers team struggles to defend. Andrew Wiggins draws an incredibly tough matchup against Paul George and Kawhi, so I’ll likely fade him here.

5-star play: Kawhi Leonard, Paul George, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star play: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Jeff Teague

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Andrew Wiggins

Houston Rockets @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Rockets, James Harden bounced back last game with an 80 point fantasy outing, but the price here feels too high for the matchup. The Magic play very slow and on a 9-game slate, I don’t know that this I’m in love with this spot. That said, he is James Harden, I’m not going to talk you off of him if you want to play him because he has a legit 100 point ceiling. Russell Westbrook has actually looked pretty good as of late and has at least 48 Draftkings points in five straight games. Clint Capela isn’t in the best form since having back to back 58 point fantasy nights, that said, he’s a secondary center option if you need one with Vucevic still being out for the Magic. Both Ben McLemore and PJ Tucker are playing big minutes right now and are solid last guy in plays. From the Magic, this is a massive pace up spot for them and the type of game that Aaron Gordon usually excels in, I like him as a GPP option. Evan Fournier is priced probably right where he should be but he’s a solid secondary play given his consistency. Jonathan Isaac has been in better form over the past two games and I like him in a fast-paced game as well. DJ Augustin and Michael Carter-Williams will take over for the injured Markelle Fultz, neither are great options but can be used as value in GPPs.

5-star play: James Harden, Russell Westbrook

4-star play: Clint Capela, PJ Tucker, Ben McLemore, Aaron Goron, Evan Fournier, Jonathan Isaac

Deeper Value: DJ Augustin, Michael Carter-Williams

GPP Sleeper: Aaron Gordon, Jonathan Isaac

Charlotte Hornets @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 214

Vegas Spread: Chi -6.5

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham has been pretty average compared to his price tag against the Bulls this season as he has two starts averaging for 39 Draftkings points per game. That said, he’s an elite GPP play and showed what he is capable of last game against the Nets where he dropped 56 Draftkings points. This is a good spot for Terry Rozier as well but has been a bit boom-or-bust as of late. I would expect Cody Zeller to take back this starting center role at some point soon and if it is tonight I will be all over him against a bad Bulls frontcourt. Miles Bridges and PJ Washington also make sense as secondary options. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine has two straight games with at least 48 Draftkings points, tough not to like him here against a Hornets team that plays little defense. Wendell Carter Jr is just priced too high for me right now, I’ll wait for his production to come up. Lauri Markkanen continues to play well and this is a spot where I want to attack him, the Hornets don’t have a real threat in the frontcourt and I think Markkanen can take advantage both in the paint and behind the arch. Tomas Satoransky and Coby White make sense as GPP options.

5-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Miles Bridges, Cody Zeller, Lauri Markkanen

Deeper Value: Bismack Biyombo

GPP Sleeper: PJ Washington, Tomas Satoransky, Coby White

New Orleans Pelicans @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram’s minutes have come down a bit over his past two games but I do like going back to him here hoping he comes in at lower ownership. He has at least 40 Draftkings points in two straight games. Jrue Holiday is a pretty consistent 35-40 Draftkings points right now, I don’t hate him here as a secondary play. Lonzo Ball has been all over the place, he’s a GPP play simply due to the fact he’s a triple-double threat every time he takes the court. JJ Redick is coming off of one of his better scoring outings this season, I like him for GPPs as well. From the Sixers, Al Horford sat last night and I’m not sure they really need him against this team tonight, but keep an eye on his status. If he sits again Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris become elite plays if they weren’t already. Josh Richardson played 25 minutes and had his minutes monitored last night, he looked good in those minutes and isn’t the worst secondary play although we need to make sure that he plays considering that this is a back-to-back.

5-star play:  Brandon Ingram, Joel Embiid, Tobias Harris

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick, Josh Richardson

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball, Josh Richardson

New York Knicks @ Sacramento Kings

Vegas Total: 207.5

Vegas Spread: Sac -8.0

Starting with the Knicks, this team is a hot mess right now but Julius Randle is coming off one of his better performances on the season where he scored 48 Draftkings points. I don’t mind going back to him here against this Kings frontcourt. So, let me get this straight… I make Marcus Morris a core play and he gets me a season-low 12.75 fantasy points… THEN THE NEXT NIGHT GOES FOR 62.5 DRAFTKINGS POINTS?!?!?!? I’m tempted to get a petition going that sends the Knicks to the G-League until further notice, sheesh… but rant over I suppose. You can go back to Morris here… as much as it pains me to say. RJ Barrett played 46 minutes against the Warriors and played well, I like him here as the only piece of this backcourt that I want any piece of. From the Kings, Buddy Hield is the boom-or-bust guy on this team, but he plays massive amounts of minutes which keeps him in play for me and has been fairly consistent as of late, he has 40+ Draftkings points in six of his last seven games. Bogdan Bogdanovic seems like he is finally healthy and getting his usual minutes, I like him at this price tag. Marvin Bagley saw 20 minutes in his first game back last time out, I would expect this to slowly increase which hurts Richaun Holmes the most, both are fades for me. Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes are secondary plays here as well.

5-star play: Buddy Hield

4-star play: Harrison Barnes, Julius Randle, Marcus Morris, RJ Barrett, Bogdan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Harrison Barnes, Nemanja Bjelica

Milwaukee Bucks @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo sat last game and is questionable here, I’ll operate under the assumption that he plays, but if he is out keeping an eye on the Breaking News Tab to see who benefits most, but Khris Middleton and Eric Bledsoe would become elite plays. Giannis is the man here and has a usage rate of over 35%, I would prefer him over Harden at almost $2k cheaper, which seems ridiculous. Khris Middleton seems to have made it back up to the 30-minute mark and I wouldn’t be surprised if that minute’s restriction is lifted here. I like him at this price tag. Eric Bledsoe isn’t in the best of form but has some good upside, I’ll save him for GPPs. The same can be said for Brook Lopez, who you hope can get hot from three. From the Grizzlies, Jonas Valanciunas hasn’t been in great form since going nuts a little over a week ago. However, with Morant off the court this season he has a 25% usage rate and 1.36 fantasy points per minute so he may be worth a look here. As I mentioned, Ja Morant will be out for this game meaning Tyus Jones and De’Anthony Melton will have to pick up the slack in the backcourt. They are both priced way down making them solid plays, I would prefer Melton of the two with that being said. Lastly, Dillion Brooks, Jaren Jackson, and Jae Crowder make sense as GPP guys against this fast-paced Bucks team with Brandon Clarke already ruled out.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Khris Middleton, Eric Bledsoe

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dillion Brooks, Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, Brook Lopez

Golden State Warriors @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total: 210.5

Vegas Spread: Utah -12.5

Starting with the Warriors, D’Angelo Russell is right back up to where he should be in minutes and is coming off a big 50 point fantasy game. He is this offense right now, but in a tough matchup on a big slate, he’s more of a GPP option than anything else. Eric Pascall and Draymond Green are both out for this game which will open up a ton of minutes in the frontcourt. Look for guys like Willie Cauley-Stein and Marquese Chriss to take those minutes. These guys are just GPP options due to the difficult matchup, however. Alec Burks hasn’t seen his minutes impacted by Russell coming back and looks like he will continue to be a viable DFS option on this team and I actually like his price here. Finally, Glenn Robinson is playing good basketball and makes sense as a GPP option. From the Jazz, Mike Conley has already been ruled out for this game which should benefit Donovan Mitchell. Overall like him as he has a 32.6% usage rate and 1.1 fantasy points per minute with Conley off the court. Rudy Gobert has averaged 49 Draftkings points per game in two matchups with the Warriors this season, he’s a solid option here, as he should be able to do whatever he wants against a frontcourt without Draymond in it. The same can be said for Bojan Bogdanovic who is very scoring dependent, but tough not to like him in an up pace matchup. Joe Ingles has been the biggest beneficiary of Conley being out, he will slide into the starting lineup and has scored 30+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games.

5-star play: D’Angelo Russell, Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert

4-star play: Alec Burks, Bojan Bogdanovic, Joe Ingles

Deeper Value: Willie Cauley-Stein, Marquese Chriss

GPP Sleeper: Glenn Robinson, Willie Cauley-Stein, Marquese Chriss
