Full Court Press:

Toronto Raptors @ Orlando Magic

Vegas Total: 206.5

Vegas Spread: Tor -4.0

Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam now has 40+ Draftkings points in nine of his last ten games and has seen a price decrease. Tough not to like him here despite the slow gameplay. Fred VanVleet is coming off of a dud game but has been one of the more consistent guards in the league, not a terrible spot for him either. The rest of this team I’ll probably stay away from just because I think there are better games to target on this slate. From the Magic, Jonathan Isaac gets another tough matchup here against Siakam and Gasol, but you can go with him with Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon still out here. Evan Fournier is playing a ton of minutes lately and really playing good basketball, he’s just not a guy that I’m forcing in. Markelle Fultz is now getting a consistent 30ish minutes, I don’t hate it if you happen to land on him. Mo Bamba isn’t going to play a ton of minutes but he’s a pretty efficient fantasy producer. Ultimately, not a whole lot I love from this game.

5-star play:  Pascal Siakam

4-star play: Markelle Fultz, Evan Fournier, Jonathan Isaac, Fred VanVleet

Deeper Value: Khem Birch, Wes Iwundu

GPP Sleeper: None

Charlotte Hornets @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: 213

Vegas Spread: Det -7.5

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham had 49 Draftkings points in this game last time out, I like him quite a bit here. Terry Rozier has been very consistent as of late, I don’t hate him for GPPs here either. Miles Bridges, Cody Zeller, and PJ Washington are all deep GPP options on this massive slate, I don’t see myself getting a ton of them. From the Pistons, the Hornets just don’t have anyone that can guard the big men on this team, this is a nice matchup for both Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin. Luke Kennard has been a bit all over the place as of late, that said he’s getting a ton of minutes against a team that isn’t interested in playing defense. Derrick Rose has a 33.5% usage rate off the bench and is a guy I like to get to in GPPs.

5-star play: Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin

4-star play: Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard, Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Derrick Rose, PJ Washington

Milwaukee Bucks @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: 228.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -10.5

Starting with the Bucks, it is all Giannis Antetokounmpo here as he has a 38.6% usage rate and 1.88 fantasy points per minute, averaging 63.7  Draftkings points per game. If you have the money, play him. Khris Middleton returned from injury last game but came off the bench and played just 20 minutes, I’ll wait until he’s getting his full complement of minutes. Eric Bledsoe bounced back nicely after a few duds last game, with Middleton back he may see a dip in production. Brook Lopez is a GPP as usual in hopes he gets hot from three. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play good basketball, but will likely move back to the bench with Middleton back in the lineup. Wait for his price to come back down to punt range before playing him. From the Cavs, Kevin Love has back to back games of under 20 Draftkings points. I like this spot as a bounce-back for him as the Bucks funnel open three-pointers to opposing teams and he just feels too cheap. With Love back, Larry Nance will likely head back to the bench and out of play for me. I don’t hate Tristan Thompson here, the Bucks have actually struggled against opposing big men. Other than these guys, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland are all GPP plays as well.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Love

4-star play: Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Tristan Thompson

Deeper Value: Darius Garland

GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton, Jordan Clarkson, Collin Sexton

Golden State Warriors @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 213.5

Vegas Spread: Mia -12.5

Starting with the Warriors, Draymond Green is the “superstar” on this team right now, his price is probably where it should be but he has triple-double upside as long as he is playing point guard on this team. With Green starting it sends Ky Bowman back to the bench and out of play for me. Eric Pascall continues to play big minutes and gets a pretty nice matchup here, I do like him at this price. Alec Burks bounced back in a big way with a 48 point fantasy night last time out, I like him again here. Lastly, Glenn Robinson feels a bit too expensive for me but I don’t hate him for GPPs. From the Heat, Jimmy Butler is expected back here, I like this matchup for him he should be able to stuff the stat sheet. Bam Adebayo has 45+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, however, he may get some Draymond defense here, I like him nonetheless. Kelly Olynyk, Justise Winslow, Kendrick Nunn, and Goran Dragic are all GPP plays for me in a game where the second unit should get plenty of run.

5-star play: Alec Burks, Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Draymond Green, Glenn Robinson, Eric Pascall, Justise Winslow, Kendrick Nunn

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kelly Olynyk, Justise Winslow, Kendrick Nunn, and Goran Dragic

Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Magic, Jonathan Isaac had a down game in a tough matchup last time out, I like this as a nice bounceback spot for him with Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon still out here. Evan Fournier is playing a ton of minutes lately but is just too expensive for me on Draftkings on a 14 game slate to be viable in anything more than deep GPPs. Markelle Fultz has back to back 30 point fantasy point outings and may be finding his stride, I like him in this matchup. Mo Bamba is coming off a 30 point fantasy outing last game but will likely be under 25 minutes again here. From the Cavs, Kevin Love is a game-time decision here so we will need to keep an eye on him. If he is out again we can expect Larry Nance to start again and play 30+ minutes and produce nicely. With Vucevic out, I do like attacking this frontcourt, but Tristan Thompson has not been good, he’s more of a GPP flyer. Other than these guys, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland are all GPP plays as well.

5-star play:  Jonathan Isaac, Larry Nance (If Love is out)

4-star play: Markelle Fultz, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson

Deeper Value: Darius Garland

GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland

Philadelphia 76ers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 208

Vegas Spread: Phi -7.0

Starting with the 76ers, Joel Embiid bounced back nicely after having a complete floor game. Embiid in New York against a bad defense, love him here.  He has 45+ Draftkings points in four of his last five games, he’s an elite play. Ben Simmons feels priced about right here and has triple-double upside every time he takes the court, I like him against a bad Knicks team. Al Horford and Josh Richardson are both expected not to play here which will give the rest of this starting five a bit more usage. With Horford and Richardson off the court this season, Tobias Harris has a 22% usage rate and just under a fantasy point per minute. This could lead to Furkan Korkmaz getting the start and playing good minutes, but let’s be honest about the talent of this guy. From the Knicks, both Marcus Morris and Julius Randle are playing consistently big minutes but draw difficult matchups against Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris here which makes them more of GPP plays than anything. RJ Barrett has seen his price continue to drop, I like him quite a bit on Draftkings where he needs just about 24 Draftkings points to hit value with a ceiling for GPPs. The rest of this team really doesn’t interest me unless we get some kind of injury news.

5-star play:  Joel Embiid, Ben Simmons, RJ Barrett (Draftkings)

4-star play: Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, Tobias Harris

Deeper Value: Furkan Korkmaz

GPP Sleeper: Marcus Morris, Julius Randle

New Orleans Pelicans @ Oklahoma City Thunder

Vegas Total: 230

Vegas Spread: OKC -4.0

Starting with the Pels, Brandon Ingram continues to play great and has 40+ Draftkings points in nine of his last ten, he’s about as consistent as they come right now. Jrue Holiday continues to play well and I won’t talk you off of playing him if you like him here. Derrick Favors and Lonzo Ball are both ruled out for this one. JJ Redick is wayyyy to cheap here and I like him quite a bit as a play in all formats. From the Thunder, it’s tough not to like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, however, he is not in good form. I’m banking on the up-paced matchup to help him out in this one. Chris Paul is going to get you 35-45 Draftkings points on most nights and makes sense for cash games as the Pelicans rank dead last against opposing point guards on the season. Both Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams are also in play here given the up-tempo likeliness of this game.

5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Brandon Ingram, JJ Redick

4-star play: Jrue Holiday, Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder

Utah Jazz @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 218

Vegas Spread: Utah -7.0

Starting with the Jazz, this is a pretty solid matchup for them as the Grizzlies are playing fast and loose. Rudy Gobert and Donovan Mitchell are both elite plays while guys like Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic make more sense for GPPs, but are secondary cash plays. From the Grizzlies, they have the complete opposite story, this is a very difficult matchup for them and one that I may shy away from. That said Ja Morant is playing incredible basketball right now so I don’t mind taking a flyer on him. Jonas Valanciunas has a tough matchup here but they may give him a few more minutes to help guard Gobert. Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, and Brandon Clarke are all GPP guys in this matchup.

5-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert

4-star play: Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic, Ja Morant

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant

Atlanta Hawks @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 225

Vegas Spread: Ind -10.5

Starting with the Hawks, Trae Young has 45+ Draftkings points in three straight games, although this isn’t a great matchup I still like him here. Jabari Parker went banana’s against his old team last time out, I like going right back to the well here. The rest of this team is a bunch of GPP flyers on a 14 game slate, nothing I NEED to have. From the Pacers, Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon are the same prices on Draftkings but Sabonis is in better form. They both draw elite matchups and are in play here. Similarly, Jeremy Lamb and Myles Turner are also the same price on Draftkings. Turner isn’t in the best form, but I don’t hate getting to Lamb here. Lastly, TJ Warren is a nice GPP play in an up-paced game against a bad defense.

5-star play: Trae Young, Jabari Parker, Domantas Sabonis, Malcolm Brogdon

4-star play: Jeremy Lamb, TJ Warren

Deeper Value: Damion Jones

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Myles Turner, Cam Reddish, De’Andre Hunter

Dallas Mavericks @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: 232.5

Vegas Spread: Dal -2.0

Starting with the Mavericks, it’s really two guys here for me, Luka Doncic and Kristaps Porzingis. Porzingis is currently questionable so keep an eye on him, but Luka is an elite play even at his elevated price tag. From the Suns, this should be a fun one between Doncic and Devin Booker, I like Booker a good amount here.  Kelly Oubre has not been in good form as of late but is always in play for GPPs. Ricky Rubio is probable here and probably too cheap if he is without a minutes limit. With Aron Baynes expected back here, Dario Saric and Frank Kaminsky see a hit, but still think they are viable for GPPs.

5-star play: Luka Doncic, Devin Booker

4-star play: Ricky Rubio, Dario Saric, Frank Kaminsky, Kelly Oubre, Kristaps Porzingis

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kelly Oubre, Maxi Kleber, Tim Hardaway

Chicago Bulls @ Portland Trail Blazers

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: Por -8.0

Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine is going to be up and down all season, but in a fast-paced game, I do like him a good deal here. I like Wendell Carter Jr, but I do not like this price, it’s an elite matchup against Hassan Whiteside, more of a GPP guy than anything else. Lauri Markkanen has less than 19 Draftkings points in four straight games, I’ll fade until he figures things out. Lastly, Coby White is an elite GPP play at his price range. From the Blazers, I like Damian Lillard here and think he’s a bit too cheap. My bold call of the day is that he goes for 60+ Draftkings points #DameTime. Hassan Whiteside isn’t getting huge minutes right now, so I’ll wait for those to come up until I play him at this price tag. CJ McCollum is a GPP play for me, I never love playing him when Lillard is on the court. Carmelo Anthony isn’t the worst GPP play either as he has a 26% usage rate on this team

5-star play: Zach LaVine, Damian Lillard

4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter, Hassan Whiteside, CJ McCollum

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Coby White, CJ McCollum, Carmelo Anthony

Los Angeles Clippers @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 225.5

Vegas Spread: Lac -6.0

Starting with the Clippers, we get a nice little #RevengeGame for Kawhi Leonard, but ultimately both he and Paul George are elite plays in a fast paced game. The write-up on this team is relatively simple, the superstars are elite while Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and Patrick Beverley are elite GPP plays. From the Spurs, DeMar DeRozan draws an incredibly difficult matchup while LaMarcus Aldridge draws the better one. Dejounte Murray isn’t getting enough minutes to be viable for me while Rudy Gay is a secondary option.

5-star play: Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, LaMarcus Aldridge

4-star play: Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Rudy Gay, DeMar DeRozan

Washington Wizards @ Los Angeles Lakers

Vegas Total: 235.5

Vegas Spread: Lal -11.0

This game has the highest game total on the slate so we will want to get some exposure here. Starting with Washington, Bradley Beal is priced up to where he should be finally especially for this matchup. That said I love him here and he could shoot 30 times here. Thomas Bryant hasn’t been great as of late and gets a tough matchup against Anthony Davis. He’s more of a GPP guy for me, but I do like him. Davis Bertans has been playing out of his mind lately and I like him quite a bit in an up-tempo game. Both Mo Wagner and Isaiah Thomas are GPP guys who could thrive in a fast game like this one but still just GPP guys at best. From the Lakers, it’s really just LeBron James and Anthony Davis for me. Both have usage rates aboe 30% have elite ceilings, if you have the salary for either of them do it. Trying to pick which one will have the better night on a nightly basis is nearly impossible.

5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis, Bradley Beal

4-star play: Thomas Bryant, Davis Bertans

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Thomas Bryant, Isaiah Thomas, Mo Wagner
