Full Court Press:
Detroit Pistons @ Charlotte Hornets
Vegas Total: 216.5
Vegas Spread: Det -4.5
Starting with the Pistons, with Vuc and Gordon out for the Magic, this is a nice matchup for both Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin as they won’t have anyone able to guard them. Luke Kennard had a very nice bounceback game last game when he dropped 40 Draftkings points, he’s a nice play here as well. Derrick Rose has a 33.5% usage rate off the bench and is a guy I like to get to in GPPs. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham had 41.3 Draftkings points in a matchup against the Pistons earlier this season and has seen his price take a bit of a dip as of late. Terry Rozier has been very consistent as of late, I don’t hate him for GPPs here either. Miles Bridges, Cody Zeller, and PJ Washington are all deep GPP options on this massive slate, I don’t see myself getting a ton of them.
5-star play: Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin
4-star play: Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard, Devonte’ Graham, Terry Rozier
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Derrick Rose, PJ Washington
Utah Jazz @ Indiana Pacers
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Jazz, the big news to watch for here is the availability of Rudy Gobert who is questionable after missing the past two games. Tony Bradley has scored at least 26 Draftkings points in those two games to fill in for Gobert and is play here again should he miss. Donovan Mitchell had a bit of a dud last game but is averaging 41 Draftkings points per game on the season and isn’t a terrible play at this price tag. Bojan Bogdanovic is cash game viable in a #RevengeGame while Mike Conley is more of a GPP option due to his volatility. From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon is probably still too cheap here on Draftkings although he does get a pretty tough matchup, I will likely still end up on him. Domantas Sabonis continues to put up solid numbers every single night, I like him especially for cash games if Gobert is out again, we saw Giannis just take it to Bradley last game. Aaron Holiday’s price has come all the way up, I’ll likely fade him on a huge slate with Brogdon and Lamb coming back, we can expect Holiday to go back to the bench. Lastly, Myles Tuner and TJ Warren are more GPP plays than anything here in a tough matchup.
5-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, Donovan Mitchell, Tony Bradley (If Gobert is out)
4-star play: Myles Turner, TJ Warren, Bojan Bogdanovic, Mike Conley
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Mike Conley, TJ Warren

Brooklyn Nets @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be out again here which will make Spencer Dinwiddie again a very viable play although his price is getting up there. He’s just so consistent and gets massive usage with Kyrie out, I like him here. With Irving off the court this season he has a 32% usage rate with 1.22 fantasy points per minute. Jarrett Allen is coming off a HUGE 62 point Draftkings game but also saw his price skyrocket, he’s only in play if DeAndre Jordan is out again and even then it’s a bit of a steep price for me. Joe Harris has played well over the past couple of games but is a bit too scoring dependent for me on a big slate. Taurean Prince is very volatile but makes a lot of sense for GPPs. From Boston, it sounds like Kemba Walker will be back for this one and is priced at under $7k on Draftkings. He is a lock if he doesn’t have a minutes limit, this is far too cheap for him. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum have been playing pretty good but I would prefer Brown as he seems more consistent at this point even with Kemba back. Marcus Smart has also been playing great but is listed questionable here, so keep an eye on him. Daniel Theis is out again here and we’ve been streaming centers against the Nets all season, so we can fire Enes Kanter back up here. He played 25 minutes and got the start in their last game. This whole team draws a nice matchup and I can see myself getting a bunch of them.
5-star play: Kemba Walker, Spencer Dinwiddie
4-star play: Jarrett Allen, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Enes Kanter
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Taurean Prince, Joe Harris
Sacramento Kings @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 210
Vegas Spread: Phi -9.5
Starting with the Kings, Buddy Hield is coming off a huge 55 point fantasy day last time out. This is just what Hield does, he’ll go for three straight 20 point games and then pop a 50 burger, which makes him an elite GPP play every given night. It sounds like Bogdan Bogdanovic is probable here and is playing great with De’Aaron Fox out, I like him here especially since he saw his price decrease. Richaun Holmes gets a #RevengeGame while Nemanja Bjelica and Harrison Barnes are secondary options right there with him. From the 76ers, Joel Embiid’s price went up after having one of the worst games of his career. That said, this is a great bounceback spot for him. He has 45+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, he’s an elite play. Ben Simmons bounced back nicely last game and still feels too cheap here. Al Horford is probably priced where he should be here while Tobias Harris is in good form, both are solid plays but get tough matchups against a nice Raptors frontcourt.
5-star play: Joel Embiid
4-star play: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Tobias Harris, Buddy Hield, Nemanja Bjelica
Orlando Magic @ Cleveland Cavaliers
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Magic, Jonathan Isaac had a down game in a tough matchup last time out, I like this as a nice bounceback spot for him with Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon still out here. Evan Fournier is playing a ton of minutes lately but is just too expensive for me on Draftkings on a 14 game slate to be viable in anything more than deep GPPs. Markelle Fultz has back to back 30 point fantasy point outings and may be finding his stride, I like him in this matchup. Mo Bamba is coming off a 30 point fantasy outing last game but will likely be under 25 minutes again here. From the Cavs, Kevin Love is a game-time decision here so we will need to keep an eye on him. If he is out again we can expect Larry Nance to start again and play 30+ minutes and produce nicely. With Vucevic out, I do like attacking this frontcourt, but Tristan Thompson has not been good, he’s more of a GPP flyer. Other than these guys, Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland are all GPP plays as well.
5-star play: Jonathan Isaac, Larry Nance (If Love is out)
4-star play: Markelle Fultz, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson
Deeper Value: Darius Garland
GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland
New York Knicks @ Toronto Raptors
Vegas Total: 209.5
Vegas Spread: Tor -10.5
Starting with the Knicks, both Marcus Morris and Julius Randle are playing consistently big minutes but draw difficult matchups against Marc Gasol and Siakam here which makes them more of GPP plays than anything. RJ Barrett has come out and said that he’s playing in this game after missing the previous game. He feels too cheap to me and will need his offense if they want to keep this one close. The rest of this team really doesn’t interest me unless we get some kind of injury news. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam is just too cheap here and has 40+ Draftkings points in four straight games and in an elite matchup. Fred VanVleets price is finally where it probably should be, I like him for cash games since you know what you’re going to get out of him. Marc Gasol, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, and Norman Powell are all GPP guys here with my favorite being RHJ.
5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, RJ Barrett
4-star play: Marcus Morris, Julius Randle
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Marc Gasol, Rondae Hollis-Jefferson, Norman Powell
Miami Heat @ Houston Rockets
Vegas Total: 227.5
Vegas Spread: Hou -7.0
Starting with the Heat, Jimmy Butler should be able to do whatever he wants here and has seen his price is more than reasonable. The Rockets play very little defense so getting to these guys makes a lot of sense. The one position I don’t seek out to play against the Rockets is the center position due to Clint Capela defense. Bam Adebayo was held to just 25 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. Justise Winslow is probable for this game which is a downgrade to Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic. Winslow will likely be limited in his first game back so wait and see on him. From the Rockets, James Harden’s price is way up there and was held to under 40 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season. With Jimmy Butler likely guarding him, I will likely spend up for Giannis if I’m spending this kind of money. Russell Westbrook also struggled in this matchup earlier this season, I don’t hate him for GPPs, but not my favorite cash game guy. Clint Capela is currently questionable. If he ends up missing we will see Tyson Chandler get some minutes and PJ Tucker will slide to the five in small-ball lineups.
5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Russell Westbrook
4-star play: Bam Adebayo, James Harden, Clint Capela
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: PJ Tucker, Kendrick Nunn, Goran Dragic

Los Angeles Clippers @ Memphis Grizzlies
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Clippers, this is a back-to-back for them so we will need to keep an eye on the status of their superstars. For the sake of this article, I will operate under the assumption that they are playing making both Paul George and Kawhi Leonard elite plays per usual. The write-up on this team is relatively simple, the superstars are elite while Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, and Patrick Beverley are elite GPP plays. From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant is questionable here so we will need to keep an eye on him, if he plays I’ll likely go elsewhere in a tough matchup. Jonas Valanciunas finally bounced back and is getting right around 26 minutes per game. I like him quite a bit against Zubac and company. Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, and Brandon Clarke are all GPP guys in this matchup.
5-star play: Paul George, Kawhi Leonard
4-star play: Jonas Valanciunas, Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Jaren Jackson, Jae Crowder, Brandon Clarke, Ja Morant
Atlanta Hawks @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 239.5
Vegas Spread: Mil -14.5
Starting with the Hawks, this game is one of the fastest on the slate so it’s one that we will want to get to on here for DFS production. Trae Young had 45 Draftkings against the Bucks last week, I like him here in what should be a shootout. Jabari Parker gets a #RevengeGame here but will likely get matched up on with Giannis. He feels a bit too pricey for this matchup. The rest of this team is a bunch of GPP flyers on a 14 game slate, nothing I NEED to have. From the Bucks, it is all Giannis Antetokounmpo here as he has a 38% usage rate and 1.88 fantasy points per minute, averaging 64.1 Draftkings points per game. If you have the money, play him. Khris Middleton is expected back here but will be on a minute limit, so wait and see on him. Eric Bledsoe has had two stinkers in a row and Middleton back will hurt his usage. That said, George Hill is doubtful again which will solidify his minutes in a much better matchup than he has had recently. Brook Lopez is a GPP as usual in hopes he gets hot from three. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play good basketball, but will likely move back to the bench with Middleton back in the lineup. Wait for his price to come back down to punt range before playing him.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Trae Young
4-star play: Jabari Parker, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez
Deeper Value: Damion Jones
GPP Sleeper: Brook Lopez, Khris Middleton
Washington Wizards @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 242.5
Vegas Spread: Pho -8.0
This game has the highest game total on the slate, while both these teams are pretty bad, they’re great for DFS purposes. Starting with Washington, Bradley Beal is priced up to where he should be finally especially for this matchup. That said I love him here and he could shoot 30 times here. Thomas Bryant hasn’t been great as of late, but I don’t hate the price on him. He’s more of a GPP guy for me, but I do like him. Davis Bertans has been playing out of his mind lately and I like him quite a bit in an up-tempo game. Both Mo Wagner and Isaiah Thomas are GPP guys who could thrive in a fast game like this one but still just GPP guys at best. From the Suns, this should be a fun one between Beal and Devin Booker, similarly to Beal, Booker could shoot 30 shots here. I like him quite a bit and is an elite GPP play. Kelly Oubre gets a #RevengeGame here and has played very well this season, I think he’s priced nice and makes sense here. Ricky Rubio is probable here and is way too cheap if he doesn’t have a minute restriction, so keep an eye on news for him. With Aron Baynes still out, Dario Saric and Frank Kaminsky become two of my favorite mid-range big men on the slate.
5-star play: Bradley Beal, Devin Booker, Dario Saric, Frank Kaminsky
4-star play: Ricky Rubio, Davis Bertans, Thomas Bryant, Kelly Oubre
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Mo Wagner, Isaiah Thomas
Minnesota Timberwolves @ San Antonio Spurs
Vegas Total: 229
Vegas Spread: SA -2.5
This game has a massive total, so targeting guys in this game could turn out to be very profitable. From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns now has 60+ Draftkings points in three of his last four. He should be able to do whatever he wants in this game, he’s an elite play. Andrew Wiggins has played very well as of late and with Jeff Teague moving to the bench he could see some extra usage, I like him for GPPs here. As I said Jeff Teague was moved to the bench last game, but I think this helps his usage and will still see good minutes, love him for GPPs. Robert Covington isn’t the worst play either with Jake Layman out, solidifying his minutes on the wing. From the Spurs, DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge are who they are, they are nice cash game guys but they just haven’t shown ceilings that we would like to see from guys in this price range. Dejounte Murray just isn’t getting enough minutes for me to feel comfortable playing him on a massive slate.
5-star plays: Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins
4-star plays: Jeff Teague, DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge
Deeper Value: Jarett Culver
GPP Sleeper: Robert Covington
Chicago Bulls @ Golden State Warriors
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Bulls, Zach LaVine came back down to Earth last game, but gets a Warriors team that is just not good, he makes a lot of sense here. I like Wendell Carter Jr, but I do not like this price, he’s pretty close to a fade for me. Lauri Markkanen has less than 19 Draftkings points in three straight games and may run into Draymond Green here. I’ll wait for him to be in better form to play him. Lastly, Coby White is an elite GPP play at his price range. From the Warriors, Draymond Green is currently questionable here, if he plays and is without a limit, he’s too cheap. If he is back it will likely send Ky Bowman back to the bench and is then out of play for me. Eric Pascall continues to play big minutes and gets a pretty nice matchup here, I do like him at this price. Alec Burks had a dud game last game but I like this spot as a bounceback game for him, I’ll go back to him with confidence. Lastly, Glenn Robinson has had back to back great games and I like him here again, however his price is starting to get up there.
5-star play: Zach LaVine, Alec Burks
4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Wendell Carter, Draymond Green, Glenn Robinson, Eric Pascall
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Coby White
Los Angeles Lakers @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total: 230.5
Vegas Spread: Lal -6.5
Starting with the Lake Show, both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are elite plays as usual here, they both have 30+% usage rates on the season and are elite plays every time they step on the court. That said, I would probably prefer Anthony Davis here as this is a revenge game for him and I think he really wants to go out and show New Orleans his new team. The rest of this Lakers team doesn’t interest me on a massive slate. From the Pels, Brandon Ingram is similar to AD from a revenge spot here. The Lakers never really gave Ingram the usage he needed to succeed like he is getting with the Pelicans and has now scored 40+ fantasy points in seven straight games. Jrue Holiday continues to play well and I won’t talk you off of playing him if you like him here. Derrick Favors and Josh Hart are both questionable here so keep an eye on them. JJ Redick’s price came way down here and makes sense for GPPs especially if Hart is out again which would solidify his minutes. Lonzo Ball is probable here but I think they want to limit him here, so I’ll wait and see on him.
5-star play: Anthony Davis, LeBron James, Brandon Ingram
4-star play: Jrue Holiday, JJ Redick
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Portland Trail Blazers
Vegas Total: 220
Vegas Spread: Por -3.0
Starting with the Thunder, it’s tough not to like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander but he has been a bit up and down as of late, maybe more of a GPP play here more than anything. Chris Paul is going to get you 35-45 Draftkings points on most nights and makes sense for cash games. I don’t hate this spot for Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams but their prices make them viable. From the Blazers, Damian Lillard’s price seems about right here and feels like more of a GPP option here. CJ McCollum’s price is still too expensive for me with Lillard back in the lineup, I’ll wait for him to come down a little more. This is a tough matchup for Hassan Whiteside, Steven Adams loves to bang down low, I’ll wait for a better spot on him. Carmelo Anthony is playing 30ish minutes per game and has a 29% usage rate on the season, he’s a bad real-life basketball player but makes sense for DFS right now.
5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul, Damian Lillard
4-star play: Carmelo Anthony, Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams
Deeper Value: None
GPP Sleeper: Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder, Carmelo Anthony, CJ McCollum
