Full Court Press:

Orlando Magic @ Detroit Pistons

Vegas Total: 207.5

Vegas Spread: Det -4.5

Starting with the Magic, they will be without Nikola Vucevic and Aaron Gordon here which will open up minutes in the frontcourt for guys like Mo Bamba, Khem Birch, and Wes Iwundu. The only guy that had a decent game in this same role last time out was Mo Bamba and I’m not playing him here against a tough Pistons frontcourt. Jonathan Isaac has 45+ Draftkings points in two straight and makes for a nice GPP play. Evan Fournier is never really a guy that I seak out but I have no issue getting to him as he is in good form lately. Markelle Fultz isn’t a bad value option either. From the Pistons, with Vuc and Gordon out for the Magic, this is a nice matchup for both Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin as they won’t have anyone able to guard them. Luke Kennard had a bad game last time out but is in relatively good form, I don’t hate him here. Derrick Rose has a 33.5% usage rate off the bench and is a guy I like to get to in GPPs.

5-star play: Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin, Jonathan Isaac

4-star play: Evan Fournier, Markelle Fultz, Derrick Rose, Luke Kennard

Deeper Value: Terrance Ross, Mo Bamba

GPP Sleeper: Derrick Rose, Terrance Ross

Memphis Grizzlies @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: -9.0

Starting with the Grizzlies, Ja Morant has scored 44+ Draftkings points in two of his last four games and has a usage rate of over 30% this season. It’s a difficult matchup, but I don’t hate him for GPPs. Jonas Valanciunas has been really bad over his last three games, I’ll wait for him to get back on track before I go back to him. Jae Crowder has 30+ Draftkings points in three of his last four games, I don’t hate him at this price tag. Jaren Jackson Jr. and Brandon Clarke are both GPP flyers if you land on them. From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon is expected back here and has seen his price free fall, if we get news that he’s not on a minute restriction I’ll be all over him. Domantas Sabonis continues to put up solid numbers every single night, I like him especially for cash games. Aaron Holiday’s price has come all the way up, I’ll likely fade him on a huge slate with Brogdon and Lamb coming back, we can expect Holiday to go back to the bench. Lastly, Myles Tuner and TJ Warren are more GPP plays than anything here.

5-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Myles Turner, TJ Warren, Ja Morant, Jae Crowder

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jaren Jackson Jr., Brandon Clarke, Jonas Valanciunas

Brooklyn Nets @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total: 217.5

Vegas Spread: Bkn -1.0

Starting with the Nets, Kyrie Irving will be out again here which will make Spencer Dinwiddie again one of the better plays on the slate. With Irving off the court this season he has a 32% usage rate with 1.22 fantasy points per minute. Jarrett Allen continues to play well, this isn’t a great matchup, but I won’t talk you out of it. Joe Harris has played well over the past couple of games but is a bit too scoring dependent for me on a big slate. Taurean Prince is very volatile but makes a lot of sense for GPPs. From Cleveland, I see Kevin Love as the top play here as he has a 34.7% usage rate on the season and should be able to do his thing on offense in this one. Tristan Thompson isn’t in the greatest of form, although had a nice game last time out, we’ve been streaming centers against the Nets all season so why stop now. Larry Nance is only in play for me if Love sits, and is actually a very good play if this does happen, fade if he’s active.  Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland all make sense as GPP plays.

5-star play: Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Spencer Dinwiddie

4-star play: Joe Harris, Taurean Prince

Deeper Value: Darius Garland

GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Darius Garland

Philadelphia 76ers @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 214

Vegas Spread: Phi -1.0

Starting with the 76ers, Joel Embiid’s price went down again but has a 32.5% usage rate and 1.57 fantasy points per minute on the season. He has 45+ Draftkings points in three straight, he’s an elite play. Ben Simmons came back down to Earth last game but still feels too cheap here, I like him in what should be a competitive game. Al Horford is probably still too cheap here while Tobias Harris is in good form, both are solid plays but get tough matchups against a nice Raptors frontcourt. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam just keeps putting up good game after good game, I’m not afraid of the Embiid defense here, he’s an elite play. The same can be said for Fred VanVleet, however he is now over $8k, the price makes me a little more cautious but he has been very consistent. Norman Powell, Marc Gasol, and OG Anunoby all make for secondary plays, I like the ceiling quite a bit on Powell and Anunoby.

5-star play:  Joel Embiid, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet

4-star play: Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford, OG Anunoby

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Norman Powell, Marc Gasol, Josh Richardson

Charlotte Hornets @ Miami Heat

Vegas Total: 215.0

Vegas Spread: Mia -10.5

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham continues to play great basketball this season but the Heat have played very well against point guards, on a big slate I’ll go somewhere else. The same can be said for Terry Rozier who isn’t in the best of form as of late. The rest of this team is really just deep GPP plays for me on a big slate like this one, Cody Zeller, PJ Washington, and Miles Bridges to name a few, although I don’t hate Bridges for cash. From the Heat, Jimmy Butler should be able to do whatever he wants here and has seen his price come down almost $1k after a dud, I like him quite a bit. I’ve been playing big men against the Hornets all season and it has worked well, give me Bam Adebayo here in a great spot. Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic are secondary GPP plays with Justise Winslow still out to round out this team.

5-star play: Jimmy Butler, Bam Adebayo

4-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Miles Bridges, Kendrick Nunn

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Cody Zeller, PJ Washington, Goran Dragic, Terry Rozier, Devonte’ Graham and Miles Bridges

Sacramento Kings @ Boston Celtics

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Kings, the big thing to watch here is the status of Bogdan Bogdanovic. If he is able to go he is a nice play here, as he has played great with De’Aaron Fox off the court. If he can’t go, it will open up usage for guys like Buddy Hield, Cory Joesph, and the rest of this offense. It’s tough to breakdown this team until we get that news so keep an eye on the Breaking News Tab for updates. Richaun Holmes and Nemanja Bjelica make sense in the frontcourt as the Celtics haven’t found an answer for opposing big men yet this season. From the Celtics, Kemba Walker has been ruled doubtful for this game. With him off the court this season, Jayson Tatum leads the team in usage at a huge 34% while Jaylen Brown is second at 25.2%. I like them both a good amount here in a nice matchup. Marcus Smart will likely get some point guard minutes as well and makes sense as a mid-range option.

5-star play: Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Kings TBD

4-star play: Richaun Holmes, Nemanja Bjelica, Marcus Smart

Deeper Value: Brad Wanamaker

GPP Sleeper: Brad Wanamaker, Buddy Hield

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 235.5

Vegas Spread: Atl -4.0

This game has a massive total, so targeting guys in this game could turn out to be very profitable. From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns bounced back nicely last game and now has 62+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games. He should be able to do whatever he wants in this game, he’s an elite play. Andrew Wiggins has had two down nights in his past couple games but has been strictly due to shooting, he’s a nice GPP play in hopes that he starts knocking down his shots. I don’t view Jeff Teague is a particularly great play here but in an up-tempo game, I have no issue with him. Robert Covington isn’t the worst play either with Jake Layman out, solidifying his minutes on the wing. From the Hawks, it’s really only two guys for me and they are Trae Young and Jabari Parker. This is a great matchup for Trae Young has he thrives in fast-paced games like this one and is coming off a 64 point Draftkings night. Jabari Parker had a nice bounce-back game against the Raptors and the frontcourt of the Twolves doesn’t scare me, I like him here. Lastly, De’Andre Hunter continues to play well, I don’t hate him for GPPs.

5-star plays: Karl-Anthony Towns, Andrew Wiggins, Trae Young

4-star plays: Jeff Teague, Jabari Parker

Deeper Value: Jarett Culver

GPP Sleeper: De’Andre Hunter

Utah Jazz @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with Utah, the big news for them is whether or not they will have Rudy Gobert who is currently questionable. If he plays I like him here as the Jazz will need him in the paint to help contain Giannis. If he’s out again, Tony Bradley becomes one of the better value options on this slate. Donovan Mitchell only had 33 Draftkings points in this matchup earlier this season, I think he’s more of a GPP option on this slate. Both Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic make sense here, as the Bucks have been funneling three-pointers to opposing teams. From the Bucks, it is all Giannis Antetokounmpo here as he has a 38% usage rate and 1.88 fantasy points per minute, averaging 62.9 Draftkings points per game. If you have the money, play him. Eric Bledsoe came back down to Earth last game, but has been playing well with Middleton off the court. This is a tough defense but if Gobert is out, it opens up some holes, I like him for GPPs. Brook Lopez will have his hands full with whoever starts at the five for the Jazz, I don’t hate him as a GPP option in hopes that he can knock down some threes. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play good basketball and now has at least 21 Draftkings points in five straight games.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Tony Bradley (If Gobert is out)

4-star play: Donovan Mitchell, Rudy Gobert, Bojan Bogdanovic, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo

Deeper Value: George Hill (?), Tony Bradley

GPP Sleeper: Donovan Mitchell, Brook Lopez

Portland Trailblazers @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: Por -1.0

Starting with the Blazers, Damian Lillard returned in their last game and looked like his normal self, I like him here at a low price tag for him. With Lillard back there is no way I’m paying this price tag for CJ McCollum, I’ll wait for that price tag to come down a bit. Hassan Whiteside is questionable here, if he is ruled out we can go back to the Skal Labissiere well who is coming off a bit of a down game after having a career game in Milwaukee. With Lillard back, I’ll hold off on using Carmelo Anthony because he should see less usage, but they may move him to the bench, so we will see. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine had a career night last time out and I don’t mind going back to him here in hopes that he stays hot. Lauri Markkanen gets a great matchup here as the Blazers have no good defensive options in the frontcourt. The same can be said for Wendell Carter, who is in much better form than Markkanen. Coby White also isn’t the worst GPP play in hopes that he gets hot.

5-star play: Damian Lillard, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Hassan Whiteside, Wendell Carter

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Coby White, Carmelo Anthony, Skal Labissiere

Los Angeles Lakers @ San Antonio Spurs

Vegas Total: 223

Vegas Spread: Lal -5.0

Starting with the Lake Show, both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are elite plays as usual here, they both have 30+% usage rates on the season and are elite plays every time they step on the court. That said, I would probably prefer Anthony Davis here as he 60+ Draftkings points in two of his last three and can be had at a cheaper price. Outside of them I really don’t have a lot of interest in this team, maybe Rajon Rondo for GPPs. From the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge draws a very tough matchup against Anthony Davis, I will likely wait for a better spot to play him. They will need DeMar DeRozan in this one if they want to keep it close, I like him as a cash play, as he hasn’t really shown a ceiling this season. Dejounte Murray now has 25+ Draftkings points in three of his last four, however, I hate playing guys on minute restrictions. Lastly, I don’t hate getting to Rudy Gay, but I’m not seeking it out either.

5-star play: Anthony Davis, LeBron James

4-star play: DeMar DeRozan, Rudy Gay

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: LaMarcus Aldridge, Rajon Rondo

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Golden State Warriors

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Thunder, I would expect this game to have a pretty large spread since the Warriors are so terrible right now. I hate predicting blowouts in DFS, but against the Warriors, it’s viable right now. It’s tough not to like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander who is averaging 30 Draftkings points per game in two matchups with this team this season. Chris Paul is going to get you 35-45 Draftkings points on most nights and makes sense for cash games. I don’t love this spot for Danilo Gallinari and Steven Adams but their prices make them viable. From the Warriors, Alec Burks is the guy on this team right now and makes a lot of sense here. If Draymond Green is out again I’ll go right back to the Ky Bowman well as he should start at point guard. Eric Paschall gets a tough matchup here but is playing great as of late, I don’t hate him for GPPs and even cash games. Glenn Robinson and Marquese Chriss are both GPP plays to round it up.

5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chris Paul

4-star play: Ky Bowman (If Green is out), Alec Burks, Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams

Deeper Value: Willie Cauley-Stein

GPP Sleeper: Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder, Glenn Robinson, Marquese Chriss
