Full Court Press:

Phoenix Suns @ Minnesota Timberwolves

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Suns, Ricky Rubio has been ruled doubtful for this game while Aron Baynes has been ruled out already. With those two off the court, Devin Booker sees the biggest usage rate at 31.2% on the season followed closely by Kelly Oubre at 27.9%. Both Booker and Oubre are averaging over 1.1 fantasy points per minute as well, they are both great plays here. This also solidifies Frank Kaminsky’s minutes and is at 0.95 fantasy points per minute on the season, I like him a good amount here, KAT defense doesn’t worry me. Dario Saric and Mikal Bridges are GPP plays to round out the team. From the Timberwolves, Karl-Anthony Towns had a down game last time out but that was in a tough matchup against Rudy Gobert, he sees a huge matchup bump here and now will be guarded by guys like Kaminsky and Saric, he should go banana’s here. Andrew Wiggins had a poor night last time out as well, but strictly due to a poor shooting night where he shot 1-10 from 3-point range. I don’t view Jeff Teague is a particularly great play here but in an up-tempo game I have no issue with him. With Robert Covington, Jake Layman, and potentially Josh Okogie all out, Jarrett Culver will see a boost in minutes and is worth a value play.

5-star plays: Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre, Karl-Anthony Towns

4-star plays: Andrew Wiggins, Jeff Teague, Dario Saric, Frank Kaminsky

Deeper Value: Jarett Culver

GPP Sleeper: Mikal Bridges, Dario Saric

Orlando Magic @ Indiana Pacers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

We don’t have a total for this game yet, but I would expect this to be one of the slowest games on the slate. Starting with the Magic, Nikola Vucevic will be out for the foreseeable future which will open up a bunch of minutes and usage. I would expect Jonathan Isaac to take over a lot of the usage and has been playing great as of late, he makes for a solid play here. In terms of minutes, it will likely be a combination of Khem Birch and Mo Bamba with Birch getting the greater percentage. If you need a value guy you could definitely do worse. With Aaron Gordon also out, I would expect Wes Iwundu to get the start for him at min price and is my preferred value option here. Lastly, Evan Fournier has scored at least 34 Draftkings points in three straight games and is a solid option here. From the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon is doubtful for this game while Jeremy Lamb is expected back, however I would expect he has a minutes limit on him. Domantas Sabonis continues to put up solid numbers every single night, I like him especially for cash games. Aaron Holiday’s price has come all the way up, I’ll likely fade him on a huge slate and Lamb coming back, we don’t know how the two will fit together just yet. Lastly, Myles Tuner and TJ Warren are more GPP plays than anything here.

5-star play: Jonathan Isaac, Domantas Sabonis

4-star play: Khem Birch, Wes Iwundu, Myles Turner

Deeper Value: Khem Birch, Wes Iwundu

GPP Sleeper: TJ Warren, Myles Turner

Chicago Bulls @ Charlotte Hornets

Vegas Total: 219.5

Vegas Spread: Chi -1.0

Starting with the Bulls, both Lauri Markkanen and Zach LaVine have been a bit all over the place lately, but this is a great matchup I like them both here especially for GPP. The Hornets have very little in terms of sizable defense in the frontcourt so I do like Wendell Carter Jr. here as well. Shaq Harrison came back down to Earth last game but should get around 24 minutes nightly and be able to do a little with it, that said I don’t want to pay this price tag for him. From the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham continues to play great basketball and but up 42.5 Draftkings points against this team earlier this season, I like him here. Terry Rozier has scored less than 30 Draftkings points in each of his last four games, he’s more of a GPP guy than anything for me. The rest of this team is really just deep GPP plays, Cody Zeller, PJ Washington, and Miles Bridges to name a few, although I don’t hate Bridges for cash.

5-star play: Devonte’ Graham

4-star play: Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine, Wendell Carter Jr., Terry Rozier

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Cody Zeller, PJ Washington, and Miles Bridges

Miami Heat @ Philadelphia 76ers

Vegas Total: 212.5

Vegas Spread: Phi -4.5

Starting with Heat, Jimmy Butler continues to play solid basketball and gets a revenge game against his old squad, he’s a great play here and has gone for 50+ in two of his last three games.  Bam Adebayo has come up all the way into the $8k range which feels high but he has been so consistent this year, it’s a tough matchup against Joel Embiid and Al Horford which makes me think I’ll go elsewhere, however. Kendrick Nunn and Goran Dragic are more GPP plays than anything for me, I don’t mind getting to them as the last piece of your cash lineup, but certainly not a priority by any means. Duncan Robinson has played big minutes with Justise Winslow out, but I’m not going to chase his last game, I’ll let other people make that mistake. From the 76ers, Joel Embiid’s price went down again but has a 32.5% usage rate and 1.57 fantasy points per minute on the season, he’s an elite play. Ben Simmons has back to back 50 point outings and makes sense here as well. Al Horford is probably still too cheap here while Tobias Harris is in good form, both are solid plays.

5-star play:  Jimmy Butler, Joel Embiid

4-star play: Bam Adebayo, Ben Simmons, Tobias Harris, Al Horford

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Kendrick Nunn, Goran Dragic

San Antonio Spurs @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 220

Vegas Spread: SA -2.5

Starting with the Spurs, DeMar DeRozan and LaMarcus Aldridge both grade out pretty well here against a Knicks team that doesn’t play a whole lot of defense. In their first matchup with the Knicks this season, Aldridge scored 34 Draftkings points while DeRozan had just 24. Dejounte Murray continues to be held under 25 minutes per game, I just don’t like playing guys with a minute cap and on a big slate, I’ll find somewhere else to go. Rudy Gay, Bryn Forbes, and Patty Mills all make sense as secondary plays as well. From the Knicks, I didn’t think Marcus Morris would be the most expensive guy on a relatively healthy Knicks team this season, yet here we are. Morris has been getting nearly 40 minutes per game and producing nicely. The same can be said for Julius Randle as well, both are solid plays here. The Spurs have really struggled against opposing point guards this season which makes RJ Barrett my favorite play on this team.

5-star play: DeMar DeRozan, LaMarcus Aldridge, RJ Barrett

4-star play: Marcus Morris, Julius Randle, Rudy Gay, Bryn Forbes

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Dejounte Murray

Toronto Raptors @ Atlanta Hawks

Vegas Total: 224.5

Vegas Spread: Tor -7.5

Starting with the Raptors, Pascal Siakam is probably too cheap here considering the matchup with a Hawks team that struggles to defend athletic big men. Fred VanVleet continues to play around 35 minutes per game and makes sense as a play in all formats in what should be a high scoring game. Marc Gasol’s minutes have gone up, but I just don’t see the ceiling with him, more of a cash game guy. OG Anunoby is up and down this season, but has proven a nice ceiling. Lastly, Norman Powell is getting big minutes as well, he makes sense as a secondary GPP guy. From the Hawks, it’s really only two guys for me and they are Trae Young and Jabari Parker. This is a tough matchup for Young but has a 37% usage rate on the season, elite GPP play at the very least. Jabari Parker struggled with the bigs in Detroit last night and gets a similarly difficult matchup here, I’ll wait for a better spot to play him. Lastly, I don’t hate going with De’Andre Hunter in GPPs.

5-star play: Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet, Trae Young

4-star play: OG Anunoby, Marc Gasol

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jabari Parker, Norman Powell, OG Anunoby, De’Andre Hunter

Portland Trailblazers @ Cleveland Cavaliers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Blazers, it sounds like Damian Lillard will be back, I wouldn’t expect he has any sort of minutes restriction but keep an eye on that. With Lillard back there is no way I’m paying this price tag for CJ McCollum, I’ll wait for that price tag to come down a bit. Hassan Whiteside is questionable here, if he is ruled out we can go back to the Skal Labissiere well who is coming off a career game in Milwaukee. With Lillard back, I’ll hold off on using Carmelo Anthony because he should see less usage, but they may move him to the bench, so we will see. From Cleveland, I see Kevin Love as the top play here as he has a 34.7% usage rate on the season and should be able to do his thing on offense in this one. Tristan Thompson isn’t in the greatest of form but gets a nice matchup regardless of whether Whiteside plays or not. Larry Nance came back down to Earth with Thompson back and isn’t in play for me here. Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland all make sense as GPP plays.

5-star play: Kevin Love, Damian Lillard

4-star play: Tristan Thompson

Deeper Value: Darius Garland

GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Darius Garland

Los Angeles Lakers @ Memphis Grizzlies

Vegas Total: 221

Vegas Spread: Lal -7.5

Starting with the Lake Show, both Anthony Davis and LeBron James are expected to play here on the second leg of a back-to-back. As always, they both have 30+% usage rates on the season and are elite plays every time they step on the court. That said, I would probably prefer Anthony Davis here as he has back to back 60+ Draftkings outings and is much cheaper. Outside of them I really don’t have a lot of interest in this team, maybe Rajon Rondo for GPPs. From the Grizzlies, Ja Morant has a 33.3% usage rate on the season and is a nice GPP option to say the least here. Jonas Valanciunas gets a difficult matchup with AD here, but they will need his size so maybe he gets more run than usual, I like him for GPPs as well. Finally, Jae Crowder, Brandon Clarke, and Jaren Jackson Jr. are all secondary GPP plays for me.

5-star play: Anthony Davis, LeBron James

4-star play: Ja Morant, Jonas Valanciunas

Deeper Value: None

GPP Sleeper: Jae Crowder, Brandon Clarke, and Jaren Jackson Jr.

Detroit Pistons @ Milwaukee Bucks

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Pistons, the Bucks haven’t exactly slowed down big men too much this season so this is a nice matchup for both Andre Drummond and Blake Griffin, however, I would prefer Drummond as Blake may get stuck with Giannis defense. Luke Kennard continues to play well and the Bucks funnel open three-pointers to opponents. Derrick Rose has a 33.5% usage rate off the bench and is a guy I like to get to in GPPs. From the Bucks, it is all Giannis Antetokounmpo here as he has a 38% usage rate and 1.88 fantasy points per minute, averaging 63.7 Draftkings points per game. If you have the money, play him. Eric Bledsoe now has back to back 40+ Draftkings nights and has played well with Middleton off the floor I like him here as well. Brook Lopez will have his hands full with Drummond tonight, but I honestly don’t hate the spot, he’ll be playing closer to the hoop than usual which could mean some extra rebounds for him. Donte DiVincenzo continues to play good basketball and now has at least 25 Draftkings points in four straight games.

5-star play: Andre Drummond, Giannis Antetokounmpo

4-star play: Blake Griffin, Eric Bledsoe, Brook Lopez, Donte DiVincenzo

Deeper Value: George Hill (?)

GPP Sleeper: Derrick Rose

New Orleans Pelicans @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread: Uta -8.0

Starting with the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram has 40+ Draftkings points in five straight games but gets a difficult matchup here, he’s a great GPP play at the very least. Jrue Holiday is priced too high for me with Ingram back in a tough matchup. JJ Redick is playing great basketball right now, I like him a good deal here. Kenrich Williams continues to play 30+ minutes a game and is probably the most blowout proof guy on this team if this one gets out of hand. Finally, Jaxson Hayes is in play again if Okafor sits with Favors already being ruled out. From the Jazz, this a great matchup for most of the starting five. The Pelicans don’t have anyone that will be able to match up with Rudy Gobert who is an elite play here. Donovan Mitchell and Mike Conley are playing great basketball and should be able to do what they want here. Finally, Bojan Bogdanovic is more of a GPP guy but I don’t hate it if you fall on him as the last guy in your lineup.

5-star play: Brandon Ingram, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Mike Conley

4-star play: Bojan Bogdanovic, JJ Redick, Kenrich Williams, Jrue Holiday

Deeper Value: Jaxson Hayes

GPP Sleeper: Jaxson Hayes, Bojan Bogdanovic
