Full Court Press:
San Antonio Spurs @ Washington Wizards
Vegas Total: 237.5
Vegas Spread: SAS -2.0
On the Spurs side of the ball, you’re going to want to have shares of Dejounte Murray (PG) as he should likely be off his minutes limit and will have to face the lackluster defense of Isaiah Thoams. The other guy will be LaMarcus Aldridge (PF) as his price hasn’t really moved, but he also hasn’t really shown those ceiling games he is capable of so far this year. However, he gets a nice matchup against an undersized 5 in Thomas Bryant, so he should take advantage there. If Murray ends up sitting, then Derrick White (PG) and Brynn Forbes (SG) will also be in play and will be solid value plays. The Spurs tend to slow the game down, but with how fast the Wizards play I expect a good amount of points to be scored in this game.
The Wizards have been terrible at defending pretty much everyone and play at an extremely high pace. On the Wizards side of the ball, Bradley Beal (SG) is going to be the premiere play, as he is the Wizards leader on offense and he has been heating up from the field lately after getting off to a slow shooting start and the Spurs have struggled at defending guards so far this year. Rui Hachimura (PF) is also in play here, as he’s still underpriced on all sites, and he has 40 FP potential if he can stay out of foul trouble. He won’t have to deal with the defense of Alridge either as he plays the 3/4 role. Isaiah Thomas (PG) is also a bit underpriced and his minutes are trending upward. Also, the spot to attack the Spurs has been at the PG and SG position. For value, Davis Bertans (SF) has had a significant role off the bench, and will be firmly in play, especially if Hachimura gets into foul trouble again. Moritz Wagner (C) is also in play here, as he loves to shoot and has the ability to score a ton of fantasy points in a limited amount of time.
5-star plays: Dejounte Murray (PG), LaMarcus Aldridge (PF), Bradley Beal (SG)
4-star plays: Rui Hachimura (PF)
Deeper Value: Davis Bertans (SF), Moritz Wagner (C)
GPP Sleeper: Davis Bertans (SF), Moritz Wagner (C)
New York Knicks @ Philadelphia 76ers
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: PHI -12.5
Really not much interest in the Knicks here, as the 76ers should handle them pretty easily, and Vegas tends to agree with the spread opening at 12.5 in favor of Philly. R.J. Barrett (SG) is really the only guy I’ll be touching here, as he gets the most consistent minutes of any of the Knicks players, and with their front court fully healthy there isn’t much value elsewhere. Julius Randle (PF) has a tough matchup downlow against Horford so I’ll likely be fading him here, and he’ll likely lose some minutes with their front court at full strength.
For the Sixers, Joel Embiid (C) is always in play due to his ceiling. I just worry about the blowout risk here as it certainly is real with how bad the Knicks are. But he’s always in play as he can pop off at low ownership, especially with a bigger slate. Ben Simmons (PG) is also in play here, as he is a matchup nightmare with his size and length. If any of the combo of Embiid, Simmons, Harris, or Horford are out then the remaining three all get major boosts. Tobias Harris (SF) is also a decent play here, but it’s hard to predict who will go off when the Sixers are fully healthy. I won’t be too heavy on ownership in this game, unless you’re really digging deep for some GPP fliers if you think it gets out of hand by the 4th quarter.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Joel Embiid (C), Ben Simmons (PG), Tobias Harris (SF), R.J. Barrett (SG)
Deeper Value: Dennis Smith Jr. (if he plays)
GPP Sleeper: None

Orlando Magic @ Toronto Raptors
Vegas Total: 207
Vegas Spread: TOR -4.0
There really isn’t much to like from this game here, as it has the lowest total on the night, so I’ll try to keep it brief. The Magic are actually one of the better defensive teams, and Toronto is pretty solid defensively as well, so I don’t expect there to be a ton of points scored here. Nikola Vucevic (C) has been playing much better as of late, as he has openly criticized his own play through the first few weeks of the season, and I don’t think Old Man Gasol can hang with him anymore. This also sets up as a game where Jonathan Isaac (SF) will thrive, especially on the defensive end if he plays. He made it through practice fully so I expect him to play today. Markelle Fultz (PG) is also a solid play here, as sits refuse to raise his price, and Toronto has taken a hit defensively when it comes to PGs, as VV isn’t as strong defensively as Lowry is. That’s about all I like here though.
For the Raptors, Pascal Siakam (SF) is going to be the high priced guy, but I don’t love the matchup here, as he’ll likely see a ton of Isaac, who is one of the more frustrating defenders in the league. Fred VanVleet (PG) also gets a favorable matchup here, as Fultz still hasn’t made the jump defensively to the NBA, and that is one of the weaker spots to attack the Magic. OG Anunoby (SF) has also taken a nice step forward this year, and he likely won’t have to deal with Isaac and see more Aaron Gordon, who isn’t good on defense, and he also thrives in defensive minded games like this as well.
5-star play: Nikola Vucevic (C)
4-star play: Pascal Siakam (PF), Jonathan Isaac (SF), Fred VanVleet (PG)
Deeper Value: Markelle Fultz (PG)
GPP Sleeper: Markelle Fultz (PG), OG Anunoby (SF)
Milwaukee Bucks @ Atlanta Hawks
Vegas Total: 231.5
Vegas Spread: MIL -11.0
This is a game that I want a ton of exposure too, as it is the 2nd highest total of the night, and I actually like the Hawks to keep this game in closer due to them being at home. Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF) has the PREMIER matchup of anyone on the night. As the Hawks are allowing the most FPs to opposing SFs so far this year and he only sees a boost with Middleton out in a fast paced game like this. I’m going to have a ton of exposure to him here, and I suggest you do the same. Eric Bledsoe (PG) also sees a nice boost with Middleton off the floor, and he’s firmly in play here as well. Donte Divincenzo (SG) is still too underpriced in his starting role here, but I actually like the play of Pat Connaughton (SG) better as he sees a ton of usage with the 2nd unit, not having to compete for touches with Giannis. Ersan Ilyasova (PF) is also a solid value play in this game, as he sees around 20-25 minutes off the bench and he’s firmly in play here as well. You can even have some shares of Brook Lopez (C) here, as he tends to get lost in transition in games like this, leading to multiple open 3 point opportunities.
For the Hawks, Trae Young (PG) has shown that he is matchup proof so far this season, as he has close to a 40% usage rate since Collins has gone out on his suspension. Jabari Parker (PF) has stepped up as their secondary scorer, but I don’t love the matchup here, as he’ll likely see a solid amount of Giannis and his length, but he should be lower owned than normal on a big slate like this, and he’s shown 60 burger potential in this Hawks offense. The spot to attack the Bucks has been at SG, and with Huerter out until mid December, a lot of that will fall on Cam Reddish (SF) and De’Andre Hunter (SF) as the Hawks don’t have a true SG without Huerter. Allen Crabbe (SG) also makes for a decent value here, as he should start to see more minutes with Huerter’s injury.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo (SF), Trae Young (PG)
4-star play: Eric Bledsoe (PG), Jabari Parker (PF)
Deeper Value: Cam Reddish (SF), De’Andre Hunter (SF), Allen Crabbe (SG), Pat Connaughton (SG), Donte Divincenzo (SG), Ersan Ilyasova (PF)
GPP Sleeper: Pat Connaughton (SG), Allen Crabbe (SG)
Cleveland Cavaliers @ Miami Heat
Vegas Total: 212.5
Vegas Spread: EVEN
The news here is going to come down to Kevin Love (PF), but its looking like he’ll play here, which is a solid bump down to Tristan Thompson (C). Still, both guys are seeing a ton of minutes and the Heat front court isn’t one that I’m worried about defensively, but the total of this game leaves a lot to be desired, of the two, Love has the better matchup though. That’s really all I have interest in from the Cavs, as their backcourt is pretty packed with guys that are pretty scoring dependent, and the Heat have been pretty solid defensively against guards over the course of this season.
On the Miami side, you can really attack this Cavs front court, as they’ve been susceptible to bigs all year long. Bam Adebayo (PF) makes for a solid play here, and I’ll even have some interest in Meyers Leonard (C) if he continues to start, as he is relatively cheap and has had some big games. Jimmy Butler (SG) is in play here as well, as there’s no one in this Cavs back court that will be able to slow him down, and he’ll get that added boost of Winslow being out again tonight. Goran Dragic (PG) is also in play here, as he commands the usage on that second unit, as I likely see Tyler Herro (SG) or Kendrick Nunn (PG) being in the starting lineup alongside Butler.
5-star play: Bam Adebayo (PF), Jimmy Butler (SG)
4-star play: Kevin Love (PF), Tristan Thompson (C), Goran Dragic (PG)
Deeper Value: Tyler Herro (SG)
GPP Sleeper: Tyler Herro (SG), Goran Dragic (PG)
Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets
Vegas Total: 219.5
Vegas Spread: BKN -4.5
On the Hornets side of the ball, Terry Rozier (PG) finally looks to be getting more comfortable in this offense, but with Kyrie out it actually helps the Nets defensively especially against PGs, but the matchup is still favorable. Dwayne Bacon (SG) is going to be in play here as well for value, especially if he starts as he is near minimum on FanDuel. Devonte’ Graham (SG) is also firmly in play here, as he will go back to his role with the 2nd unit where he dominates usage. I like him a lot here against the Nets who have struggled to defend guards and his price has come down a little. Cody Zeller (C) is also in play here, as playing Centers against the Nets have been a cheat code for awhile now, and it doesn’t change here as they’re still allowing a ton of FPs to opposing Centers. P.J. Washington (PF) also has a favorable matchup here, but his price doesn’t leave for a lot of meat left on the bone.
On the Nets side of the ball, Kyrie Irving has already been ruled out, which means that Spencer Dinwiddie (PG) will be very popular again, and for good reason, as he sees a 38.8% usage rate with both Irving and LeVert off the court. He’s likely to be a core play for a lot of people today, and for good reason. Garrett Temple (SG) also makes for an interesting value play, as he played well last game with Irving sidelined as well. Jarrett Allen (PF) is also an option here in his price range, as he should see enough of Cody Zeller who is also pretty bad defensively that he should be able to double double in this game with a block or two.
5-star play: Spencer Dinwiddie (PG)
4-star play: Cody Zeller (C), Terry Rozier (PG), P.J. Washington (PF), Devonte’ Graham (SG)
Deeper Value: Garrett Temple (SG), Jarrett Allen (PF)
GPP Sleeper: Garrett Temple (SG)
Golden State Warriors @ Dallas Mavericks
Vegas Total: 217
Vegas Spread: DAL -13.5
On the Warriors side, D’Angelo Russell has already been ruled out, which means we’ll see point Draymond Green (PF) as he’s still a bit underpriced here. Ky Bowman (PG) is also in play here as he’ll likely see heavy minutes off the bench once again, and his price hasn’t come up much. Glenn Robinson III (SF) actually looked pretty decent last night as well in the starting lineup, and his price is nice in that range. Jordan Poole (SG) is also really cheap everywhere, and although he’s coming off the bench, if his shot is falling he can put up fantasy points in a hurry. Eric Paschall (PF) is also still a little underpriced here and should still play around 35ish minutes with Draymond running the point and WCS on the 2nd half of a B2B.
Luka Doncic (PG) is matchup proof at this point, and he should be able to take full advantage of this lax Warriors defense here. The only thing that scares me a little here is that the spread is already opening at -13.5 and the Warriors are on the 2nd half of a B2B, so they may even rest some of their starters. Kristaps Porzingis (PF) is also a decent play here, as the Warriors are bleeding FPs to bigs, but he isn’t your typical 4 as he likes to hover around the 3 point line. Dorian Finney-Smith (SF) is also a decent value play, as he played 35 minutes last game and scored 22 actual points, I don’t expect a repeat performance but unless some more value opens up here, he’s in play.
5-star play: Luka Doncic (PG), Draymond Green (PF)
4-star play: Kristaps Porzingis (PF), Eric Paschall (PF)
Deeper Value: Dorian Finney-Smith (SF), Jordan Poole (SG), Ky Bowman (PG)
GPP Sleeper: Jordan Poole (SG)
Detroit Pistons @ Chicago Bulls
Vegas Total: 221.5
Vegas Spread: CHI -1.5
For the Pistons, Blake Griffin (PF) is looking like he’s back in game shape, and I’d expect his minutes to trend upwards a little here, closer to the 30 range. The best matchup here actually goes to Andre Drummond (C) as Wendell Carter Jr. isn’t developed enough into his body to handle him down low. This is one of those game where Drum can go 20-20 with some extra offensive boards and put backs. Derrick Rose (PG) will be back in action tonight as well, and he’s worth a shot in GPPs as he dominates usage with the second unit. Luke Kennard (SG) will also be in play, but I’m not as high on him with Rose back in play. Langston Galloway (SG) is worth a deep GPP flier as well, as he showed what he can do last game when his shot is falling.
For the Bulls, the premier play here is going to be Zach LaVine (SG) as he does it all for the Bulls, and he’s been rounding into form over the last week as well. He sees a ton of usage with the first team offense, but he is still a little scoring dependent. Lauri Markkanen (PF) is in play here as well, as the Bulls are going to need him to rebound here if they want a chance in this game, because Drummond is a glass cleaner and he’ll need to box out a ton here, some nice double-double potential for him here. Coby White (PG) is always in play for your GPPs as well, as he dominates usage with the 2nd unit, and is a GPP winning talent when his shot is falling. He’s also playing close to 30ish minutes which puts him firmly in play for GPPs. I’m not high on Wendell Carter Jr. here as he’ll have his hands full on the defensive end with Drummond, but if they stagger him and Markkanen’s minutes again I’ll like him a bit more, as he won’t have to deal with Drummond playing with the 2nd unit.
5-star play: Andre Drummond (C), Zach LaVine (SG)
4-star play: Blake Griffin (PF), Lauri Markkanen (PF), Derrick Rose (SG)
Deeper Value: Coby White (PG), Luke Kennard (SF)
GPP Sleeper: Langston Galloway (SG), Coby White (PG)
Utah Jazz @ Minnesota Timberwolves
Vegas Total: 219
Vegas Spread: EVEN
On the Utah side of the ball, Rudy Gobert (C) will have his hands full tonight with KAT, but he’s one of the best defenders in the NBA and the pace of this game will be slowed way down. Donovan Mitchell (SG) is also in play tonight, but if Wiggins is out again I’ll actually have less interest in him, as they’ll likely stick Okogie on him who is a really tough defender. He’s worth a GPP play shot. Bojan Bogdanovic (SF) is also in play for GPPs here as he has the ability to score a will with Conley and Mitchell’s ability to drive and kick it out to him. There isn’t a ton to like from either side of this game as the pace will be slowed down and Utah is one of the best defensive teams in the NBA.
Karl-Anthony Towns (C) is going to be the premiere play in this game, but I don’t love the matchup against Gobert. Andrew Wiggins (SG) is also a great play (if he suits up), especially if the T-Wolves decide to keep running him at the point, as he’s been phenomenal in that role. He’s been out for personal reasons, so we may see a return for him tonight. I’ll actually have a bit mroe interest in KAT if Wiggins plays because it’ll take some of the defensive emphasis off of KAT. Josh Okogie (SF) will be in play here as well, as the Wolves will need him on the defensive end whether Wiggins plays or not. Jarrett Culver (SF) is also still way too cheap everywhere, despite not a great matchup, but if Wiggins plays I’ll likely fade him
5-star play: None
4-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns (C), Andrew Wiggins (SG), Rudy Gobert (C), Donovan Mitchell (SG)
Deeper Value: Josk Okogie (SF)
GPP Sleeper: Josh Okogie (SF, especially if Wiggins sits)
Houston Rockets @ Denver Nuggets
Vegas Total: 222
Vegas Spread: DEN -2.0
On the Houston side of the ball, your choice is going to come down to whether you want to go with Russell Westbrook (PG) or pay up for James Harden (SG). Both of these guys are in solid spots, but Westbrook has the better matchup, and they stagger their minutes to the point where they can both eat in one game, but I wouldn’t pair them together as it takes a huge chunk of your salary. Westbrook is the better salary option in my opinion, as Denver has been tougher on SGs, but we all know that Harden is matchup proof. Clint Capela (C) as he’s been taking on a more offensive role as well this year behind the two main stud guards, and he rebounded from a concussion to a 20-20, 60 FP game in his first game back, but the matchup isn’t great as Jokic is a solid defender. Danuel House (SF) is also in play with Eric Gordon out again. House being back takes both Rivers and McLemore out of play for me here, as there’s no reason to go to either of those guys on a huge slate like this.
On the Denver side, Nikola Jokic (C), has been much better offensively over the past week, as he is throwing up 20 shots a game, they haven’t been falling that much either, so he’s due for some positive regression on that end, and I love playing him in fast paced matchups like this, as he has a tendency to triple-double and his salary is still too low across the industry. I’m not too high on Jamal Murray (PG) here, as the Houston has actually been really solid against PGs so far this year. Gary Harris (SG) makes for a decent value play here, as he plays a ton of minutes and will need to continue to do so in order to matchup with Harden. He has those random games where his shot is falling as well and could really pop at low ownership in spots like this. Will Barton (SF) has also been playing pretty well but the Rockets have been tough on opposing SFs so far this year, but he should be lower owned than normal on a big slate.
5-star play: Russell Westbrook (PG), James Harden (SG), Nikola Jokic (C)
4-star play: Clint Capela (C), Gary Harris (SG), Will Barton (SF)
Deeper Value: Gary Harris (SG), Danuel House (SF)
GPP Sleeper: Gary Harris (SG), Will Barton (SF), Danuel House (SF)
Boston Celtics @ Los Angeles Clippers
Vegas Total: 218
Vegas Spread: EVEN
The Celtics had their winning streak snapped by the Kings, and face a tough opponent here in the Clippers. Kemba Walker (PG) is in a solid spot here, as the Clippers have been allowing around 50 FPPG to opposing PGs over the last week, but the matchup with Beverley isn’t the greatest. Jaylen Brown (SF) is also in play here, as he has 50 FP potential but the consistency has been his main issue, but the matchup is there as I don’t see the Clippers putting Kawhi on him. Jayson Tatum (PF) is also in play for GPPs here, but I think he’ll draw Kawhi if Kawhi ends up playing tonight so I don’t want to go out of my way to roster him. Enes Kanter (C) draws a favorable matchup here as well, as the Clippers are terrible at defending opposing bigs, I just want to see something from Stevens that Kanter will see 25+ minutes tonight, as his price is nice across the industry. This is likely one of the slower paced games on the night as these two teams don’t really push the pace so I don’t think you necessarily need anyone from the hammer game here.
On the Clippers side, the big news will be whether or not Kawhi Leonard (PF) plays, as it’ll be a huge boost to all the Clippers involved if he sits. If he sits, Paul George (SF) is still on a minutes limit, but will get all the usage that he can handle. Patrick Beverley (PG) will also see a nice usage bump if Kawhi sits, and you can always go to the combo of Lou Williams (SG) and Montrezl Harrell (C) as they are the best in the game at the pick and roll off the bench. The Celtics also aren’t great against bigs, so Harrell sees the better matchup of the two. Like I said above, I don’t think you need anyone from this game, but if you were going to go there, I prefer Lou and Montrezl, or even PG13 as he shouldn’t carry too much ownership.
5-star play: Paul George (SF, if Kawhi sits) Kawhi Leonard (PF, if he plays)
4-star play: Kemba Walker (PG), Jaylen Brown (SF), Patrick Beverley (PG), Montrezl Harrell (C), Lou Williams (SG)
Deeper Value: Enes Kanter (C)
GPP Sleeper: Enes Kanter (C)
