Full Court Press:
Portland Trailblazers @ New Orleans Pelicans
Vegas Total:
Vegas Spread:
Starting with the Trailblazers, Damian Lillard had a bit of floor game last night against the Rockets but has a nice bounce-back spot here against just as bad of defense in the Pelicans. He’s averaging just over 50 Draftkings points per game this season and is a nice price, I like him here. CJ McCollum continues to play very well, but I just can’t get to this price on him, I like him more for tournaments. The Pelicans frontcourt is not very big so Hassan Whiteside should be able to give them trouble on the offensive end. It sounds like Carmelo Anthony may be active for this game, he’s not in the player pool here but it will be interesting to see what minutes he takes away from this rotation. From the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram and Lonzo Ball are questionable here while Derrick Favors and Josh Hart have already been ruled out. If Ingram plays I like this spot for him as his price has come way down and has played incredible this season. I will also probably be off the Jrue Holiday bandwagon if Ingram is in, his price has gotten too high. That said if these guys are out again, Jrue is a spectacular play yet again. Kenrich Williams should continue to play 30+ minutes regardless of who is active because I think he’s the biggest beneficiary of Favors being out. JJ Redick has played great and I will go right back to the well if Lonzo and Ingram are out again. Finally, Jackson Hayes makes sense again with Favors out, he should soak up some big man minutes.
5-star plays: Damian Lillard, Brandon Ingram, Jrue Holiday (if Ingram is out)
4-star plays: CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Kenrich Williams, Jackson Hayes, JJ Redick
Deeper Value: Jackson Hayes
GPP Sleeper: Lonzo Ball (if active), CJ McCollum, JJ Redick
Golden State Warriors @ Memphis Grizzlies
Vegas Total: 222.5
Vegas Spread: Mem -6.5
Starting with the Warriors, this game should be a pretty high scoring one and one that should be solid for DFS purposes. Starting with the Warriors, Draymond Green’s price has come up here and is probably a little too expensive for me in a tougher matchup with Jonas Valanciunas and Jaren Jackson. I would have more interest in Eric Paschall who is getting all the minutes he can handle and is a very reasonable price. He’s coming off of a real-life 30 point game and seems like they’re going to continue to run him out there. Alec Burks didn’t play as well as I thought he would last time out but I’ll go right back to the well here, as he did see 30 minutes. Once Willie Cauley-Stein reaches 30 minutes his price will likely be up in the $6k range and I think he’s very close to that minute restriction being lifted, I’ll go back to him after having two straight 25 minute outings. Ky Bowman is my favorite play on this team and it’s really not close, he’s proven he can put up fantasy points in a hurry with Russell of the court and is still very cheap, he will likely be a core play for me. From the Grizzlies, Jonas Valanciunas went back down to 22 minutes in his last outing and seems like they’re going to be careful with him. That said, he is an elite point per minute guy and I like him here more for GPPs due to his elevated price. Ja Morant should be able to do whatever he wants against this putrid Warriors defense, with a 30% usage rate on the season I like him quite a bit. The rest of this team features guys like Jae Crowder and Jaren Jackson Jr. who are GPP guys for me.
5-star play: Eric Pascall, Ky Bowman, Alec Burks, Ja Morant
4-star play: Willie Cauley-Stein, Draymond Green, Jonas Valanciunas, Jae Crowder
Deeper Value: Jordan Poole
GPP Sleeper: Willie Cauley-Stein, Draymond Green, Jaren Jackson Jr.

Phoenix Suns @ Sacramento Kings
Vegas Total: 220.5
Vegas Spread: Sac -1.5
Starting with the Suns, Ricky Rubio missed the game last night after getting a mid-day downgrade. My thinking would be he would be out again here which would give a boost to Jevon Carter but we will need to keep an eye on the situation. Devin Booker had a rough night last night but gets a nice bounceback spot here, I do like this spot for him especially for GPPs. Kelly Oubre is probably my favorite play here due to his ability to stuff the stat sheet. Dario Saric, Aron Baynes, and Frank Kaminsky all make sense as secondary plays here with my favorites being Saric and Baynes for cash games. From the Kings, Buddy Hield is coming off a huge game last time out but I just can’t play him at this price comfortably, that said he is an elite GPP play. Bogdan Bogdanovic is the guy I really have interest in and is picking up the slack with De’Aaron Fox off the court. Bogdan has a 27% usage rate and 1.17 fantasy points per minute with Fox and Bagley off the court this season. Harrison Barnes, Richaun Holmes, and Nemanja Bjelica are all solid secondary plays as well here.
5-star play: Devin Booker, Kelly Oubre, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield
4-star play: Dario Saric, Aron Baynes, Richaun Holmes, Harrison Barnes
Deeper Value: Corey Joseph
GPP Sleeper: Frank Kaminsky, Buddy Hield, Jevon Carter
Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Lakers

Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to continue to be my guy on this team with a 26% usage rate I like him a good deal here. Chris Paul has played great basketball as of late and this feels like a game that he will get up for, I like him here as well and should be a game he gets up for as he usually does against one of his “guys” in the league in LeBron James. Danilo Gallinari gets a nice spot here as well as LeBron James isn’t exactly a lockdown defender. Dennis Schroeder and Steven Adams both make sense as secondary plays in all formats. From the Lakers, it is the LeBron James and Anthony Davis show who both have usage rates over 30% and are elite plays here in all formats, picking between them can be very difficult in terms of choosing which one will have the ceiling game and yes you can play them both in the same lineup. Kyle Kuzma is really the only other guy on this team that I have interest in as his usage and minutes begin to ramp up, he makes sense as a secondary play.
5-star play: LeBron James, Anthony Davis
4-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Danilo Gallinari, Dennis Schroeder, Kyle Kuzma
Deeper Value: Terrance Ferguson, Rajon Rondo
GPP Sleeper: Dennis Schroeder, Danilo Gallinari
