Full Court Press:

Cleveland Cavaliers @ New York Knicks

Vegas Total: 227.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -6.0

Starting with the Cavaliers, Kevin Love seems to have hit a bump in the road after starting the season on a tear. This is still a great matchup for him so he’s tough not to like. I’m not sure what Draftkings is doing with Tristan Thompson’s price here but he is way too cheap and continues to put up double-doubles. A matchup against the Knicks will only help his chances, I’m kind of shocked by the price tag honestly. The backcourt is less clear, but Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, and Darius Garland are all solid for GPPs. From the Knicks, RJ Barrett bounced back fairly nicely last game and gets another good matchup here and seems too cheap, very solid option in my opinion. Julius Randle and Marcus Morris are owning the frontcourt minutes for this team and playing great basketball. Lastly, this backcourt is a mess and Dennis Smith Jr. was thrown into 30 minutes two games ago and then gets only 10 in his last game, he is the deepest of GPP options.

5-star plays: Tristan Thompson, RJ Barrett

4-star plays: Kevin Love, Julius Randle, Marcus Morris

Deeper Value: Kevin Knox, Darius Garland

GPP Sleeper: Collin Sexton, Jordan Clarkson, Darius Garland, Kevin Knox, Bobby Portis

Charlotte Hornets @ Toronto Raptors

Vegas Total: 215.5

Vegas Spread: Tor -9.0

Starting with the Hornets, Devonte’ Graham continues to play well and has now been moved to the starting lineup which will solidify 30+ minutes per game going forward, he’s a great play even against a tough defensive team. Terry Rozier has been Mr. Consistency outside of a few really bad duds, he has a 26% usage rate on the season and is a solid play. Miles Bridges is never really a guy that I get to because I don’t see the ceiling with him, but he makes sense for cash games. Cody Zeller and PJ Washington are both solid options at their price, I would prefer Zeller for cash and Washington for GPPs. From the Raptors, Pascal Siakam has played at least 40 minutes in each of his last four games and the Hornets don’t have a guy that will be able to stop him, this is an elite spot for him. The same can be said for Fred VanVleet who is getting just about 40 minutes per game now with Ibaka and Lowry out and doing just what he should with those minutes… producing and producing well, he’s a great cash and GPP play Marc Gasol has seen his minutes solidified as well, I haven’t really been on him since coming to the Raptors but I don’t hate him here while he is getting consistent minutes. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson has produced well over his past three games with Ibaka out and should continue that here, I would expect him to be around 25 minutes. OG Anunoby is probably too cheap tonight as well as we saw him get 31 minutes in his first game back last time out.

5-star play: Devonte’ Graham, Pascal Siakam, Fred VanVleet

4-star play: Terry Rozier, Miles Bridges, Rondae Hollis- Jefferson, Marc Gasol, OG Anunoby

Deeper Value: Miles Bridges

GPP Sleeper: PJ Washington, OG Anunoby

Indiana Pacers @ Brooklyn Nets

Vegas Total: N/A

Vegas Spread: N/A

Starting with the Pacers, Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and Jeremy Lamb are all questionable here which makes it very difficult to analyze. For the sake of this article, I’ll operate under the assumption that they are all active. Brogdon and Sabonis should be safe from minute restrictions if active while I would expect Lamb to be limited in his return. Sabonis and Brogdon would be great plays against a bad Nets defense. Myles Turner returned on Saturday to play 33 minutes, streaming centers against the Nets is a real thing, I like him quite a bit here. TJ Warren is just too volatile for me but he makes sense as a GPP play in a good matchup. From the Nets, Kyrie Irving is questionable here as well, if he were to miss Spencer Dinwiddie would become one of my favorite plays on the slate and if he’s in you can make a case for him here. He’s still averaging 50 Draftkings points per game this season. DeAndre Jordan continues to play well and will be out there to help guard Turner and Sabonis. People may chase the points on Joe Harris, but this spot is not for me, let other guys chase him.

5-star play: Malcolm Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, Myles Turner, Kyrie Irving, Spencer Dinwiddie (If Kyrie is out)

4-star play: TJ Warren, DeAndre Jordan Taurean Prince

Deeper Value: Justin Holiday

GPP Sleeper: Joe Harris, TJ Warren

Portland Trailblazers @ Houston Rockets

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Blazers, I would expect this game to be a fairly fast-paced one since the Rockets play exactly zero defense. Damian Lillard is too cheap here considering the number of minutes he’s going to play here and the number of shots he’ll put up. CJ McCollum is never really my favorite option, but against the Rockets I’m willing to play almost anyone. He’s also in great form, coming off a 50 burger in his last game. Hassan Whiteside had a nice bounce-back game against the Spurs, I would expect a similar game here and I will like him a lot if Capela ends up sitting. From the Rockets, James Harden has at least 66 Draftkings points in each of his last seven games and this offense is just running through him right now, you won’t see me talking you off of him. Russell Westbrook should return here after being rested on Saturday. The Blazers are 29th in defense against opposing point guards and Westbrooks’s price is way down. The issue with him is he really needs the ball in his hands to be effective and he’s not getting that with Harden playing nearly 40 minutes per game. That said, I do still like him here. Clint Capela is considered probable here and gets a great matchup against Hassan Whiteside who seems like he thinks defense is optional. If Danuel House is active here he almost feels like a lock here to me with a price tag under $4k, I would expect him to be right back at that 30-minute mark, he wouldn’t need to do a whole lot to pay off his salary.

5-star play:  Damian Lillard, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Danuel House (price play)

4-star play: CJ McCollum, Hassan Whiteside, Clint Capela, PJ Tucker

Deeper Value: Danuel House

GPP Sleeper: Hassan Whiteside, PJ Tucker

Milwaukee Bucks @ Chicago Bulls

Vegas Total: 230.5

Vegas Spread: Mil -7.0

Starting with the Bucks, Giannis Antetokounmpo is averaging 63.8 Draftkings points per game this season to go along with a 36% usage rate and 2.1 fantasy points per minute with Khris Middleton off the court this season. All those words simply put, he’s an elite play. Eric Bledsoe has 1.35 fantasy points per minute with Middleton off the court this season and makes a lot of sense here as well even though he’s coming off a bit of a dud game. Brook Lopez is always a GPP guy for me given his boom or bust tendencies. Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, and George Hill all make sense as value options as they soak up Middletons minutes. From the Bulls, Zach LaVine had a big night against the Bucks the other night and makes sense as a solid play here as well. Lauri Markkanen has seen is price come all the way down and struggled in this spot last week, I would expect he gets Giannis defense again here, so I will fade. Coby White went banana’s in this matchup last week, the Bucks will give up three-point shots in bunches so I like going right back to the well here.

5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledsoe, Zach LaVine

4-star play: Coby White, Wendell Carter Jr., Brook Lopez

Deeper Value: Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, and George Hill

GPP Sleeper: Donte DiVincenzo, Sterling Brown, Brook Lopez, Lauri Markkanen and George Hill

San Antonio Spurs @ Dallas Mavericks

Vegas Total: 226

Vegas Spread: Dal -4.5

Starting with the Spurs, LaMarcus Aldridge has been very solid over the past week and will look to keep things going against this Mavs team that has struggled with big men this season. If you want 30-40 Draftkings points, DeMar DeRozan is you guy, he’s more of a cash guy than a GPP guy due to the limited ceiling. Dejounte Murray’s per-minute production has come way down over the past week and is someone that I’ll wait for the minutes to come back up on before I go back to him. From the Mavs, it’s the Luka Doncic should not be below $10k like he is on Draftkings, he’s averaging 59 Draftkings points per game this season. With a 35.5% usage rate on the season, he’s a great play here. Kristaps Porzingis now has at least 44 Draftkings points in three of his last four games and makes sense against LMA and company here. Dwight Powell and Maxi Kleber make sense as GPP value pieces if you need them.

5-star play: Luka Doncic, Kristaps Porzingis

4-star play: LaMarcus Aldridge, DeMar DeRozan

Deeper Value: Maxi Kleber

GPP Sleeper: Dwight Powell, Dejounte Murray, Maxi Kleber

Minnesota Timberwolves @ Utah Jazz

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

Starting with the Timberwolves, this is a very difficult matchup for all members of this team due to the great defense that the Jazz play. That said, Karl-Anthony Towns continues to put up big games and has a 28% usage rate on the season, he’s more of a GPP play for me in this one. Andrew Wiggins is doubtful here which means we should see an increase in minutes and usage in guys like Jeff Teague, Josh Okogie and Jarrett Culver, all are viable here. From the Jazz, Rudy Gobert has looked good over the past week and a matchup with KAT doesn’t really scare me, I do like him now that he is showing some consistency. Donovan Mitchell has a 30% usage rate on the season and gets a pace up matchup against a bad defensive team. Outside of those two, Mike Conley and Bojan Bogdanovic make sense as GPP guys.

5-star play: Karl-Anthony Towns, Jeff Teague, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell

4-star play: Mike Conley, Bojan Bogdanovic

Deeper Value: Treveon Graham

GPP Sleeper: Josh Okogie, Jarrett Culver

Boston Celtics @ Phoenix Suns

Vegas Total: 227

Vegas Spread: Pho -3.0

Starting with the Celtics, this is a pretty good spot for Kemba Walker who has a 28% usage rate on the season and gets a nice fast-paced game here. Although the home/road splits on him stand out a bit as he has been much better at home this season. Jaylen Brown is now averaging 35 Draftkings points per game this season after starting out slow, he seems like he has benefited most from the Hayward injury. Jayson Tatum, on the other hand, hasn’t really taken advantage, that said this is still a great spot for him. Marcus Smarts’ minutes are also solidified with Hayward off the court and make sense here as well. Finally, I think I’ll stay away from the frontcourt until Enes Kanter is back to full health. From the Suns, Ricky Rubio finally had a dud game last time out but has been very consistent this season and gets a very nice matchup with Kemba Walker’s below-average defense. Devin Booker will likely draw Marcus Smart on defense which is less than ideal, but we have seen Booker put up some massive numbers against this Celtics team in the past in fact he is averaging over 50 Draftkings points per game against them since 2018. Kelly Oubre is coming off a huge game and makes sense as a GPP option here. Dario Saric and Aron Baynes also make sense here for cash games, Aron Baynes gets a #RevengeGame.

5-star play: Kemba Walker, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Ricky Rubio

4-star play: Devin Booker, Marcus Smart, Dario Saric, Aron Baynes, Kelly Oubre

Deeper Value: Enes Kanter, Daniel Theis

GPP Sleeper: Kelly Oubre

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Los Angeles Clippers

Vegas Total:

Vegas Spread:

This game should be a fun one as we get a little revenge game for Mr. Paul George. Starting with the Thunder, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is going to continue to be my guy on this team with a 26% usage rate I like him a good deal here. Chris Paul has played great basketball as of late and this feels like a game that he will get up for, I like him here as well, although Patrick Beverley (Questionable) plays tough on-ball defense. Danilo Gallinari gets a revenge spot here as well, but he is going to be covered by either Kawhi Leonard or Paul George here and both are two of the best defenders in the league, so take that as you will. Dennis Schroeder and Steven Adams both make sense as secondary plays in all formats. From the Clippers, Kawhi Leonard is questionable here so we will need to keep an eye on the news around him. If he plays he’s a great play and if he sits it will be a boost to Paul George, Lou Williams, and Montrezl Harrell to go along with extra minutes for Maurice Harkless. Paul George is being held under 25 minutes per game but has been up around that 50 Draftkings spot in both games, I hate playing guys on minutes restrictions but this could be an exception.

5-star play: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Kawhi Leonard

4-star play: Paul George, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Chris Paul, Steven Adams

Deeper Value: Maurice Harkless

GPP Sleeper: Montrezl Harrell, Lou Williams, Dennis Schroeder
