What Is SuperDraft?

SuperDraft is a new DFS site in the industry and they set up a little different than the rest. In the image below, you see they have two different formats we can play each day, (1) the Standard Salary Cap style we’re all accustomed to from Fanduel and Draftkings, and (2) the new Multiplier Format. My article will focus strictly on the Multiplier Format, as I feel like it’s the most fun and unique format in the entire DFS Industry.

This new Multiplier format provides such a fresh twist on the standard game of DFS. Honestly, I think it’s the coolest new Game mode since Showdown on Draftkings. Instead of players getting a salary, they are given a Multiplier ranging from 1x to 2x their production. Think of the MVP or Captain spot on your Single Game and Showdown rosters, except on SuperDraft, every player has a different multiplier, Studs, generally, have a lower multiplier than “non-studs”. This truly changes the game and really adds a new dynamic level when building lineups that you can’t really get on any other site.

The scoring above is sort of a mixture between Fanduel and Draftkings, but, remember, there is no salary cap, so, you can play any players you want from any team you want. If you want to play all the STUD players, that’s fine, but, their multiplier may be close to 1x since they are STUDS. This dynamic scoring, across all of your players, really changes the game and makes this format super fun

We’ll have SuperDraft projections for you on the website, but, I’ll do my best to give you some other options to consider as well, rather than simply taking the top projected guys each night. Guard – Trae Young – 1.30x Multiplier

Despite the BTB-3/4 (back to back and 3 games in 4 nights), I love Trae Young here tonight against the Heat. The matchup is not great against a solid Heat defense who ranks 6th in the league vs Combo Guards, but, his 1.30x multiplier puts him on another level vs the rest of the available Guards on the slate. With a multiplier like this he’s got legit 80+ fantasy point upside tonight and you simply can’t pass that up when it presents itself. I’m looking for Ice Trae to put on a show in South Beach tonight!

Gary Harris – 1.90x Multiplier vs Mavericks

The Mavs rank 30th in the league against Scoring Wings so this is a sick spot for Harris along with his sky-high 1.90 multiplier

Forward – Jimmy Butler – 1.50x Multiplier

The Heat gets a juicy home matchup against the Atlanta Hawks tonight, and, they have the highest implied team total on the slate at 115.75. Jimmy Butler is expected to make his Heat regular-season debut tonight and this spot couldn’t be better for him against the Hawks. I’m expecting a little “ping pong” battle here between Jimmy Buckets and Trae Young tonight in South Beach.

Kristaps Porzingis – 1.40x Multiplier

This is a great multiplier for a guy that regularly puts up 20/10. He’s got 80+ point upside tonight!

Center – Bam Adebayo – 1.55x Multiplier

I’m picking on the Hawks tonight with Jimmy Butler already, so, I might as well double down and get some exposure to BAM BAM as well. Bam has played over 30 minutes in back to back games and he’s scored 48.75 and 43.75 in those games. With a 1.55x multiplier, those scores would have been 75.56 and 67.81. I’ll be heavily exposed to him tonight on SuperDraft and I’m expecting another 60-70 point game from him in this one.
