What Is SuperDraft?

SuperDraft is a new DFS site in the industry and they set up a little different than the rest. In the image below, you see they have two different formats we can play each day, (1) the Standard Salary Cap style we’re all accustomed to from Fanduel and Draftkings, and (2) the new Multiplier Format. My article will focus strictly on the Multiplier Format, as I feel like it’s the most fun and unique format in the entire DFS Industry.

This new Multiplier format provides such a fresh twist on the standard game of DFS. Honestly, I think it’s the coolest new Game mode since Showdown on Draftkings. Instead of players getting a salary, they are given a Multiplier ranging from 1x to 2x their production. Think of the MVP or Captain spot on your Single Game and Showdown rosters, except on SuperDraft, every player has a different multiplier, Studs, generally, have a lower multiplier than “non-studs”. This truly changes the game and really adds a new dynamic level when building lineups that you can’t really get on any other site.

The scoring above is sort of a mixture between Fanduel and Draftkings, but, remember, there is no salary cap, so, you can play any players you want from any team you want. If you want to play all the STUD players, that’s fine, but, their multiplier may be close to 1x since they are STUDS. This dynamic scoring, across all of your players, really changes the game and makes this format super fun

Steph Curry – GSW

With Klay Thompson likely out for the season, and Kevin Durant moving to Brooklyn, I’m expecting Steph Curry to put up James Harden like numbers all year long. I’m expecting Steph to average 35+ points per game on his way to MVP consideration at this season. I was honestly shocked to see him with a 1.25x multiplier today, against a pesky Clippers team. This game should be competitive and you know the Warriors are not going to simply roll over and let the Clippers take over the Western Conference. Steph will show up here, and I’m expecting him to put up a big game tonight at home against the Clips.

Draymond Green – GSW

Our 2nd highest projected player, Draymond Green will be asked to do more as well this year, with Klay Thompson out, and Kevin Durant now in Brooklyn. Draymond has a sky-high 1.55x multiplier today, and for a player than regularly drops triple-doubles this is something that caught my interest immediately today when I looked into the slate. Steph and Draymond will be core plays for me tonight on SuperDraft, their Multipliers are simply too high to ignore here.

Luke Kennard – DET

This guy exploded last night, with a 30 point game and a 38.75 fantasy points outing. I’m not sure what his multiplier was last night on SuperDraft, but he’s got a really high 1.85x multiplier tonight. For reference, if he puts up a game similar to last night’s performance, 38.75 x 1.85 = 71.68 fantasy points!!! I’m going to go right back to the well here with Luke Kennard, who should play a big role in this Pistons Offense with Blake Griffin out a few weeks.
