Hi there! I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is Friedman’s DK Tiers, where I will break down the DraftKings Tiers slate using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), DFS Army Domination Station (DS), and other sources. I will generally try to write Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Weekends, but I may have some spare time on other days as well.
In my articles, I will use a few terms which may or may not be familiar:
DKFPPG = DraftKings Fantasy Points Per Game
DKFPPM =DraftKings Fantasy Points Per Minute

Tier 1:
Devin Booker will likely command a lot of ownership and for good reason. He is averaging 42% usage in this split with no DeAndre Ayton, TJ Warren, Kelly Oubre Jr., and Tyler Johnson. My second favorite play, and one which I like for GPPs is Karl-Anthony Towns who draws a very favorable matchup against the notoriously bad defender Enes Kanter.
Tier 2 :
With no Jimmy Butler and Joel Embiid, this is an excellent spot to use Ben Simmons. With the two All-Stars out, Ben Simmons has a usage rate of 26.3 and is averaging 1.3 DKFPPM. He is an excellent play tonight. This is likely an all-in spot, but I don’t hate a fewe

Tier 3:
In Tier 3, Rudy Gobert is close to an all-in spot for me here too. I absolutely love his price in DK classic where he is $2,000 cheaper than KAT in an excellent matchup. I don’t mind throwing a few darts on Donny Mitch in GPPs. Mitchell will have more usage with Derrick Favors out tonight.
Tier 4:
There are two scenarios at play here:
If Giannis and Middleton are OUT > All the Eric Bledsoe
If Giannis and Middleton are in, then I will grab Tobias Harris. With Embiid and Butler out, he is a pretty safe play here. Andrew Wiggins is somewhat interesting in GPPs. I could see him getting a bunch of shots off versus Portland, and those are the scenarios that you want to roster Wiggins.
Tier 5:
Mitch Robinson has been on a tear and is one of our top value plays of the day so I like him a ton here. MitchRob is averaging 46 DK FP over his last two. Larry Nance Jr. is in an excellent spot too here with no Kevin Love tonight. There are a few others I like here in GPPs. Goran Dragic will benefit greatly, with no Winslow and Richardson, however, it is a harder matchup. Also, Brook Lopez has a revenge game, if you are interested in narratives.
Tier 6:
Dion Waiters is my cash play in Tier 6, Along with Dragic, Waiters will have to fill in on the wing without the talents of Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson. Waiters is one of the hotter players in the league avaerging 35.2 DKFPPG over his last 3 games.Joe Ingles is also in play for GPPs, as he provides a great floor and he should see a few more shots with no Derrick Favors and Kyle Korver.

Those are your DK Tiers! Some are going to be commonplace, and some won’t. These are players my research led me to and some will contain risk.
