NBA Full Court Press for Fanduel and Draftkings March 24th

Welcome to the DFS Army NBA Full Court Press. Here we will take a look at each game of the day to help you get you started on your research each day. In this article, we’ll cover everything from Vegas Lines to Injury situations for each team on the slate each morning. The goal here will be to provide you with a solid base to start your research from each day. You won’t find many HOT TAKES in this article since it’s more of an overview article of each game. We’ll highlight the best players from each game and tell you what we think about those players each day.

NBA Full Court Press for Sunday, March 24th

Cleveland Cavaliers – 105 at Milwaukee Bucks – 117

Tough matchup here for the Cavs obviously vs one of the best teams in the NBA on the road. The Cavs are 12.5 point underdogs and really should only be considered in GPP’s as I’m expecting this game to get out of hand quickly. Colin Sexton has been playing very well recently averaging 35 minutes and 30 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. This is a real tough matchup for him as the Bucks are ranked near the top of the league against opposing guards. Cedi Osman plays a ton of minutes and is very affordable. Larry Nance Jr could be a sneaky GPP play on a small early slate. He’s a decent GPP target for his price on this sall slate. He has had good success vs the Bucks and over his last 3 games against them, he is averaging 36.8 fantasy points per game. If you need some value Brandon Knight has been playing well and is very cheap but temper your expectations in this matchup.

Giannis Antetokounmpo is currently being listed as questionable today while Mirotic and Brogdon are still out. The Bucks likely won’t need Giannis to get a win here vs the Cavs so I’m not sure if the Bucks rush him in there. If he plays he’s the top play on the early slate by a mile. If Giannis misses the game Eric Bledsoe and Khris Middleton would be virtual locks on this small slate. Bledsoe gets a 5.5% usage increase and Middleton gets a 4.9% usage increase when Giannis is off the floor. The two of them will dominate every possession if Giannis is out. With Brogdon out Tony Snell and Pat Connaughton have been picking up the extra minutes. Both are GPP value targets only for me.

Very low total on this game between two great defensive teams today. Nikola Jokic is the top play for the Nuggets but it will be tough to play him and Giannis together so you’ll have to make a decision there. I’m leaning Giannis is he plays. Jamal Murray is a decent GPP target but he’s been very scoring dependant recently. Monte Morris can give us some solid value and he usually plays around 25 minutes now that Isaiah Thomas isn’t getting any run. Will Barton, Malik Beasley and Gary Harris are all solid GPP targets. Beasley is only 200 above the min price on Fanduel and makes a solid dropscore candidate today.

Darren Collison is being listed as questionable again today. If he’s out we can target Cory Joseph and Tyreke Evans as solid value options. Both get a nice usage increase when Collison is off the floor. Evans has a little more upside between the two of them. Since Oladipo has gone down Bojan Bogdanovic has been the go to guy for this team. He’s a solid mid tier price play on this early slate. Myles Turner is underpriced on DK at just 5,900 and should be able to pay off that salary even in a tough matchup vs Jokic. Thad Young and Domantas Sabonis seem to be priced correctly and usually play around 30 minutes so I have no issues with either of them here.

Charlotte Hornets – 105 at Toronto Raptors – 115
Vegas TOR -9.5

Nicolas Batum, Cody Zeller, MKG and Tony Parker are all out for the Hornets. Miles Bridges will get a nice boost here with all these players out and becomes a free square on this early slate. Kemba Walker and Jeremy Lamb are my top options for the Hornets along with Bridges. Despite them being out of the playoff race the Hornets are still playing Kemba Walker a ton of minutes. He just dropped 66 fantasy points on the Celtics and almost had a triple double in that game. If Lowry misses the game again today he’ll have a solid matchup vs Fred VanVleet. Lamb has been very solid averaging 32 fantasy points per game over his last 5 so he’s in play here as well.

Kyle Lowry is listed as questionable right now. If he’s out we get a boost for Kawhi Leonard, Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka. Fred VanVleet will start at point guard and be a great play if Lowry sits again. The Hornets are ranked 29th in defensive efficiency vs power forwards over their last 10 games so Pascal Siakam and Serge Ibaka are solid targets here. Both get boosts if Lowry is off the floor. The Hornets have been bad vs centers all season allowing 5% more fantasy points to the position than the league average. This is a good spot for Marc Gasol who is still too cheap for his talent level.
