(single game and showdown only)
Boston Celtics – 112.8 at Charlotte Hornets – 109.3
Vegas BOS 3.5
Total 222
For the 1st game of the day we get a solid game between the Celtics and Hornets. This game has a solid 222 total with the Celtics only favored by 3 on the road. I’m expecting this game to be competitive throughout. Kyrie Irving is my top option in this game and he’s been on fire recently. Over his last 5 games, he has averaged 36 minutes and 54.5 fantasy points per game. Al Horford, Aaron Baynes and Gordon Hayward are out tonight so I’m expecting everything to run through Kyrie here. Jason Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris and Marcus Smart are all in play here as well. With Horford and Hayward out they should all see an increased role in the offense today.
The Celtics are a solid defensive team so nobody on the Hornets has a “good” matchup. Even against a tough defensive team we’ll want to target Kemba Walker obviously. I’m expecting him and Kyrie Irving to have a nice back and forth battle here. Over his last 5 games Kemba has averaged 41.4 fantasy points per game and in his career has always seemed to play better at home. Fire up “Home Kemba” today! Jeremy Lamb has been very solid this year as well, and his price has risen to $7,200 on Fanduel. I don’t love that price but you can’t argue with the production. Over his last 5 games he is averaging 32 minutes and 34.1 fantasy points per game. We can still find some good value with Miles Bridges, Dwayne Bacon, Marvin Williams and Frank Kaminsky. With Horford and Baynes out the big men on the Horents could have a solid game here.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Kyrie Irving, Kemba Walker
💥💥 4 star play – Jason Tatum, Jeremy Lamb, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Morris, Marcus Morris
💥 Value – Dwayne Bacon,

Miami Heat – 109.8 at Washington Wizards – 111.8
Vegas WAS -2.0
Total 221.5
I’m loving this matchup today for the Heat against the Wizards who have a 111 defensive efficiency on the season. Justise Winslow is being listed as doubtful for tonight’s game. Overall the Heat have been very balanced with 4 guys (not counting Winslow) averaging 27 fantasy points or more in their last 5 games. Josh Richardson, Bam Adebayo, Gordan Dragic and James Johnson are all solid options here. With Winslow out I’ll likely target Richardson and Dragic more than the rest but the matchup is great for all of them. The best DVP matchup is for Heat power forwards as the Wizards allow 8% more fantasy points to that position than the league average. James Johnson and Kelly Olynyk are listed as a power forward so this is a nice spot for them. Bam Adebayo has been very consistent as well and we know Hassan Whiteside can explode for a monster game any time.
Bradley Beal is the top option for the Wizards despite a tough matchup vs a good Heat defense. He’s scoring 47 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games, but his price and matchup will keep him as a GPP only play for me. Tomas Satoransky and Jabari Parker are each averaging 30+ fantasy points per game in their last 5 games and they are both in play here as well. Again, because of matchup, I’m only interested for GPP’s here. Troy Brown Jr was 90% owned last game as he got the start for Trevor Ariza. He played 32 minutes and scored 21.5 fantasy points in that game which was good enough for 6.1x value. He will be a great value again today if he gets the start at min price.
💥💥💥 ALL – Josh Richardson, Gordan Dragic, Bobby Portis, Troy Brown
💥💥 GPP – Bradley Beal, Bam Adebayo, James Johnson, Tomas Satoransky, Jabari Parker, Hassan Whiteside
💥 VALUE – Derrick Jones Jr, Dion Waiters, Troy Brown
Philadelphia 76ers – 121.8 at Atlanta Hawks – 113.8
Vegas PHI 8.0
Total 235.5
The Sixers have the highest team total on the slate tonight as they are projected to score 122 points. The problem here is a very likely blowout as they are 8 point favorites against the Hawks. I’m not in the business of projecting blowouts so I’m going to assume this game stays competitive at least until the 4th quarter. Ben Simmons has the best DVP matchup on the board tonight vs the Hawks who play at a 106 pace, have a 111 defensive efficiency rating and allow 12% more fantasy points to point guards than the league average. Simmons is not cheap and will be popular so a GPP fade could be a good strategy here. In cash games it’s tough not to plug him in and move on.
Joel Embid is in a great matchup as well as the Hawks struggle vs big men allowing 3% more fantasy points to centers than the league average. Embid has been on FIRE recently averaging 35 minutes and 63 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. Embid and Simmons are going to be building blocks for my cash games this evening. I have no issues playing Tobias Harris, Jimmy Butler or JJ Reddick either but I will likely save them for my GPP teams tonight.
The Hawks have been one of my favorite teams to target players from this season. Trae Young and John Collins are my top targets here and if we think they can hang around they should both have solid games. Young has been very consistent lately scoring 36 or more fantasy points in 7 of his last 8 games. Collins has cooled off a little with 2 games of 25 or less in his last 3, but, prior to that, he had scored 45 or more in 4 straight. I like the matchup for Young a little more than Collins but they are both solid GPP targets.
💥💥💥 ALL – Ben Simmons, Joel Embid, Trae Young, Taurean Prince
💥💥 GPP – Jimmy Butler, Tobias Harris, JJ Reddick, John Collins
💥 VALUE – Taurean Prince, DeAndre Bembry
Utah Jazz – 115 at Chicago Bulls – 104
Vegas UTA -10.5
Total 216.5
The Jazz get a juicy matchup here vs the Bulls who have been bad defensively all season with a 111 defensive efficiency rating. This is a pace up spot for the Jazz as well which is something I always like to target. Rudy Gobert has the best DVP matchup for the Jazz. The Bulls allow 7% more fantasy points to centers than the league average and they don’t have anyone that can matchup with Gobert in the paint. Donovan Mitchell and Derrick Favors are my next two targets on the Jazz. Mitchell, 38 fp/gm and Favors 36 fp/gm over their last 5 have been playing very well. Overall the Jazz 5 starters can all be used in cash so it really depends on the type of roster you’re building tonight. If you want the high end go with Gobert and Mitchell, if you want some more value and you want studs from other games target Favors, Ingles and Rubio. The Jazz are 10.5 point road favorites here so I wouldn’t go too heavy on them in Cash games.
Otto Porter is doubtful tonight and Zach Lavine is being listed as questionable along with Kris Dunn tonight. I’m expecting Porter to be out, but if Lavine and Dunn are also ruled out we’ll have a ton of value options we can target on the Bulls. Shaq Harrison and Ryan Arcidiacono would be the two best in that situation. If Lavine and Dunn both play I’m going to leave them as GPP options because of the tough matchup. Lauri Markkanen finally broke out of his slump last game scoring 57 fantasy points in the OT win against the Wizards. This is not a great matchup for him however as the Jazz allow 7% fewer fantasy points to power forwards than the league average so I’m listing him as a GPP option only.
💥💥💥 ALL – Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell, Derrick Favors, Ricky Rubio, Joe Ingles
💥💥 GPP – Zach Lavine, Lauri Markkanen, Robin Lopez
💥 VALUE – Raul Neto, Royce O’Neal, Shaq Harrison, Ryan Arcidiacono, Wayne Selden, Cristiano Felicio

Minnesota Timberwolves – 109 at Memphis Grizzlies – 108
Vegas MIN -1.0
Total 216.5
Karl Anthony Towns has played 12 games since his serious car accident and he’s scored 45 or more fantasy points in 11 of those games. He’s scored 52 or more in 9 of the 12 games. He’s a top target today despite his tough matchup vs the Grizzlies. Jeff Teague and Derrick Rose are out for the rest of the Season so we can still get some value from Tyus Jones. He wont be this cheap for long so take advantage of it while you can. Over his last 5 games he is averaging 31 minutes and 26.1 fantasy points per game. Overall this is a tough matchup for the T’Wolves so I’ll be targeting Towns and Jones more than everyone else.
The Grizzlies are listing Mike Conley as questionable again tonight. If he’s out again we can go right back to the well and load up on Delon Wright and Tyler Dorsey value. If Conley plays he’s a great play in all formats as the T’Wolves have a 110 defensive efficiency rating on the season. I like Jonas Valanciunas here as well as Karl Anthony Towns is not known as a great defensive center. Since joining the Grizzlies Valanciunas have been very solid and over his last 5 games is averaging 34 fantasy points per game. Chandler Parson has risen from the dead and scored 30 fantasy points per game over his last 3 games. I’m not going there in cash but I don’t mind him for GPP’s and a value target.
💥💥💥 ALL – Karl Anthony Towns, Tyus Jones, Mike Conley, Delon Wright, Tyler Dorsey
💥💥 GPP – Andre Wiggins, Jonas Valanciunas, Chandler Parsons
💥 VALUE – Tyus Jones, Josh Okogie, Dario Saric, Delon Wright, Tyler Dorsey, Chandler Parsons
Dallas Mavericks – 105.5 at Golden State Warriors – 120.5
Vegas GS -15.0
Total 226
The Mavericks are 15 point road underdogs to the Warriors tonight. This game will likely blow out in the 2nd half but I’ll be targeting Luka Doncic, Dwight Powell and Jalen Brunson in GPP’s just in case it stays close. Luka won’t be cheap but he’ll be low owned for sure tonight as most people will be expecting a blowout. He’s got 60 point upside every night and I love targeting him when he’s low owned. Powell and Brunson have been rock solid over their last 5 games each averaging right around 30 fantasy points per game. If you wanna get off the Troy Brown Jr mega chalk again you can target Justin Jackson who will be 1/10th the ownership for only $500 more. He has played 32 minutes in back to back games and scored 25 and 27 fantasy points in those game.
Steph Curry is out along with Shaun Livingston tonight for the Warriors. This means Quinn Cook will get the start at point guard and should play 35+ minutes tonight regardless of a blowout or not. Oh, and one more thing, IT’S HIS BIRTHDAY today!!! Cook will be the highest owned player on the slate and he’s min price across the industry. Don’t overthink this one just plug him in and move on. With Curry out, we’ll get more shots for Kevin Durant, Boogie Cousins and Klay Thompson. I’ll have more Durant in cash and more Cousins and Thompson in tourneys.
💥💥💥 ALL – Quinn Cook, Kevin Durant, Boogie Cousins, Klay Thompson
💥💥 GPP – Luka Doncic, Dwight Powell, Jalen Brunson, Draymond Green
💥 VALUE – Justin Jackson, Quinn Cook
Detroit Pistons – 105.3 at Portland Trail Blazers – 110.3
Vegas POR -5.0
Total 215.5
Andre Drummond is my top target on the Pistons tonight vs the Blazers. He as scored 50+ fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games. The matchup is not ideal as the Blazers allow 5% fewer fantasy points to centers than the league average but he has slate breaking upside in virtually any matchup. Blake Griffin is a solid GPP target tonight and his price continues to drop. He scored 41 fantasy points last game so I’m hoping he’s ready to break out of his slump. He’s not safe so don’t go too heavy but I like his upside at this price. Ish Smith and Wayne Ellington are solid values here also, both priced under 5k and both scoring 23+ fantasy points per game over their last 5 games.
On the Blazers side, we know CJ McCollum is out tonight so we can go heavy on Damian Lillard here. Dame has gone for 60+ in back to back games without McCollum and he should continue to get all the shots he wants with McCollum out. Jusuf Nurkic is my next target, although I don’t love targeting centers vs Drummond too often. He still has solid GPP upside tonight. Moe Harkless, Seth Curry, Al Farouq Aminu and Rodney Hood can all be targeted as value options here.
💥💥💥 ALL – Damian Lillard
💥💥 GPP – Andre Drummond, Blake Griffin, Jusuf Nurkic, Reggie Jackson
💥 VALUE – Ish Smith, Wayne Ellington, Moe Harkless, Seth Curry
Phoenix Suns – 110.5 at Sacramento Kings – 120.5
Vegas SAC -10.0
Total 231
This will likely be my favorite game to target tonight even though there is some blowout risk attached to it. Kelly Oubre and TJ Warren are out tonight and the Suns are listing Josh Jackson and Tyler Johnson as questionable tonight vs the Kings. If they are all out Devin Booker is going to be one of the top plays on the entire slate and he’ll handle the ball much more tonight. Over his last 5 games he is scoring 44 fantasy points per game and in this uptempo game, I’ll be expecting 50+ from him tonight. DeAndre Ayton is in a great spot as well vs the Kings who struggle vs centers this year. Mikal Bridges has been playing nearly 40 minutes per game over his last 5 games and averaging just 21 fantasy points per game. I hate the fantasy point production but I can’t ignore the 40 minutes. I’ll be targeting him in GPP’s waiting for this breakout fantasy point game. With all the injuries we can get some value from Dragen Bender and De’Anthony Melton here as well.
Note – if Tyler Johnson plays I love him in this matchup
On the Kings side I’ll be heavily invested in De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Heild and Marvin Bagley tonight. The Suns have a 111 defensive efficiency rating on the year and really struggle against nearly every position on the floor. Willie Caulty Stein has a great matchup as well but I’ll save him as more of a GPP play here. The Suns allow 12% more fantasy points to centers than the league average so Big Willie should be in line for a nice game here. Harrison Barnes are Nemanja Bjelica are solid options as well.
💥💥💥 ALL – Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, De’Aaron Fox, Buddy Hield, Marvin Bagley, Tyler Johnson (gtg)
💥💥 GPP – Willie Cauley Stein, Harrison Barnes, Nemanja Bjelica, Mikal Bridges,
💥 VALUE – Richaun Holmes, Dragen Bender
