NBA Full Court Press for Monday, March 4th
Dallas Mavericks – 109.5 at Brooklyn Nets – 114.5
Vegas BKN -5.0
Total 224
This game currently has the lowest total on the slate but there are still a few guys we can target in this one. On the Mavericks side of the ball we can target Luka Doncic as always. over his last 5 games, he has averaged 32 minutes and 42 fantasy points per game. He’s an Elite DFS Player and should be in line for a night 40+ fantasy outing tonight.
Dwight Powell has been playing a ton of minutes recently and I don’t expect that to end this evening. Over his last 5 games, he is averaging 32 minutes and 33 fantasy points per game. His best 2 games in the stretch he scored 51.6 and 32.6 fantasy points. The other 3 games he was in the high 20’s so he’s been really solid lately. Tim Hardaway Jr is under $6,000 on Fanduel and he’s got some upside at that price and Jalen Brunson is a solid value option who has been playing 28 minutes per game over his last 5 games.
On the Nets side of the ball I really only have interest in D’Angelo Russell. His production has been dipping a little recently since his monster 56.7 fantasy point game on 2/23 vs the Hornets. He has scored less in each game since and last game only scored 25.2. While everyone else jumps off during his cold streak I think he’s got good upside for tourney’s tonight. No other Net has averaged more than 25 fantasy points per game over their last 5 games so everyone else is a GPP Only play fo me.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Luka Doncic, D’Angelo Russell
💥💥 4 star play – Dwight Powell,
💥 Value – Jalen Brunson,
Atlanta Hawks – TBD at Miami Heat – TBD
Vegas ATL 1.0
Total
The Hawks won their rematch with the Bulls yesterday, after going 4 OT and losing to the Bulls on Friday. Trae Young was ejecting for Taunting and only played 18 minutes yesterday. This is a tough matchup vs the Heat who are a solid Defensive team this season and who play at a much slower pace than the Hawks. Over his last 5 games, he’s averaging 52.8 fantasy points per game. Young is sa solid GPP play as his upside is elite in nearly any matchup. John Collins is questionable for the Hawks tonight and if he’s out Dewayne Dedmon and Alex Len will see some extra minutes. Len has scored 47.8 and 45.5 in his last 2 games and would be an ELITE value play if Collins misses again today. Collins has averaged 31 minutes and 31.1 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games so he would be a solid play here as well.
The matchup for the Heat is ELITE in this one, as we know the Hawks are an awful defensive team. The Hawks play at a 106 pace and have a team defensive efficiency rating of 111. The hottest players on the Heat are Kelly Olynyk, Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson, and Bam Adebayo. If Hassan Whiteside is OUT yet again tonight Kelly Olynyk and Bam Adebayo will both be Great value options this evening. Over his last 5 games, Olynyk has averaged 33.6 fantasy points per game, while Adebayo has averaged exactly 30. Justise Winslow and Josh Richardson have been initiating most of the Offense these days, virtually taking turns playing point guard. In this matchup, we can target Dwyane Wade as a solid mid-range option while Derrick Jones Jr and Rodney McGruder can provide some good value
💥💥💥 5 star play – Trae Young (GPP), Justise Winslow, Josh Richardson, Kelly Olynyk (if Whiteside is out), Bam Adebayo (if Whiteside is out)
💥💥 4 star play – Alex Len (if Collins is out), Dewayne Dedmon, Dwyane Wade
💥 Value – Kevin Huerter, DeAndre Bembry, Derrick Jones Jr, Rodney McGruder
Denver Nuggets – 114 at San Antonio Spurs – 114
Vegas PICK 0.0
Total 228
This should be a good competitive game between the Nuggets and the Spurs. Currently, the game is a pick’em with a solid 228 total. On the Nuggets side I’m always interested in targeting Nikola Jokic even in somewhat difficult matchups like this one. The Spurs defense overall has not been great this year, with a 109 defensive efficiency rating, but they have been solid vs opposing Centers allowing 5% fewer fantasy points than league average to the position. With that being said, Jokic is one of the elite big men in the game and has legit 60+ upside in any matchup so he’s a solid GPP play tonight. Paul Millsap has been on fire recently, over his last 5 games he is averaging 32 minutes and 41.3 fantasy points per game. He has scored 46.4 fantasy points or more in 4 of his last 5 games and he’s gone over 52 fantasy points in 2 of those games. Jamal Murray is a solid option as the Spurs have struggled vs Point Guards this year allowing 5% more fantasy points to the position than the league average. We can get some upside from Will Barton as always and some really solid value in Gary Harris who is simply too talented to be priced under $5,000 on Fanduel. Mason Plumlee and Malik Beasley are 2 reliable value options as well
On the Spurs side of things, LaMarcus Aldridge is my favorite play here. He has scored 40+ in 3 straight games while averaging 35 minutes per game. The Nuggets allow 2% more fantasy points to power forwards than the league average so he’s in a solid spot here. DeMar DeRozan has been good over his last 5 games he’s scoring 42.5 fantasy points per game. He and Aldridge are the clear top 2 options in this offense and are in play pretty much every night. The Spurs released Pau Gasol and now Jakob Poeltl is their starting Center. He’s has played 34 and 26 minutes in his last 2 games and has scored 38.3 and 28.9 fantasy points. His price has come up quickly but he should be able to give us solid production if he can keep playing close to 30 minutes per game.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Nikola Jokic, Paul Milsap, LaMarcus Aldridge
💥💥 4 star play – Jamal Murray, DeMar DeRozan
💥 Value – Mason Plumlee, Malik Beasley

Milwaukee Bucks – at Phoenix Suns –
Vegas TBD
Total TBD
This is a dream matchup for the Bucks going against a Suns team that is terrible defensively and plays at a quick pace. On the season the Suns have a 112 defensive efficiency rating and struggle greatly against Guards and Centers. Giannis Antetokounmpo is one of the top plays on the slate in this matchup and the only concern is a blowout. Those concerns will likely keep him as a GPP only play for me but there is no doubt his upside is off the charts here. Eric Bledsoe just signed a brand new $70 million dollar contract and now gets a shot at his former team in Phoenix. The Suns are bad vs point guards as they allow 7% more fantasy points to the position than the league average. Bledsoe missed Saturday’s game vs the Jazz, but prior to that, he had scored 51.3 vs the Lakers and 58.9 vs the Kings. I’m expecting him to have a 40+ fantasy point game in this matchup tonight. Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Nikola Mirotic are all solid options here as well. The Suns can’t stop anyone so plug and play as you wish and sprinkle in some Pat Connaughton and Ersan Ilyasova as value.
For the Suns this is a tough matchup against one of the elite defensive teams in the NBA. All of their players will be in my GPP Only list here tonight. Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, and Kelly Oubre Jr is how I would rank my favorite Suns players tonight. All have big upside in nearly any matchup but like I said I won’t have too much of them in my lineups tonight. If I’m running 150 lineups I may have 5% of each. Tyler Johnson, Josh Jackson, and Mikal Bridges could be used as value players here but again don’t go too heavy against this Bucks defense.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Giannis Antetokounmpo, Eric Bledos, Khris Middleton
💥💥 4 star play – Brook Lopez, Malcom Brogdon, Devin Booker, DeAndre Ayton, Kelly Oubre Jr
💥 Value – Pat Connaughton, Ersan Ilyasova, Tyler Johnson, Josh Jackson, Mikal Bridges
New Orleans Pelicans – 110.5 at Utah Jazz – 120
Vegas UTA -9.5
Total 230.5
The Anthony Davis situation is not going to get better any time soon for the Pelicans. As DFS players we can take advantage of this by targeting their other high usage players for the remainder of this season. In this matchup vs the Jazz, every matchup is sub-par for the Pelicans. Jrue Holiday and Julius Randle however, have the highest usage rates on the team now with Davis taking a backseat. Davis will likely play around 20 minutes again but Holiday and Randle will run the show otherwise. Both are solid GPP targets in a somewhat tough matchup. Cheick Diallo is a great value play here as he has been averaging 27.8 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. He has scored over 31 fantasy points in 4 of his last 6 games and he is still only priced at $4,800 on Fanduel.
On the Jazz side of the ball nearly everyone is in play here vs a fast-paced Pelicans team that plays awful defense. On the season they have played at a 105 pace and have a 110 defensive efficiency rating. Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell are elite plays here while Ricky Rubio, Derrick Favors and Joe Ingles are all very solid slightly below elite plays. We can get some value from Jazz wing players Royce O’Neale and Jae Crowder here as well.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Jrue Holiday, Rudy Gobert, Donovan Mitchell
💥💥 4 star play – Julius Randle, Elf Payton, Ricky Rubio, Derrick Favors, Joe Ingles
💥 Value – Cheick Diallo, Royce O’Neal

New York Knicks – 110.5 at Sacramento Kings – 121.5
Vegas SAC -11.0
Total 232
The Knicks are in a tough spot here as 11 point road underdogs to the Kings. Currently, DeAndre Jordan is listed as questionable so if he is out, Mitchell Robinson would be a great play here. He is averaging 25 minutes and 36.4 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games and the Kings allow 4% more fantasy points to Centers than the league average. Damyean Dotson could provide some decent value here as he has been averaging 26.6 fantasy points per game in his last 5 games and he is only priced at $4,800 on Fanduel. The rest of the Knicks players are all GPP Plays for me tonight. Dennis Smith Jr, Emmanuel Mudiay, Noah Vonley and Kevin Knox all have shown solid upside but are all very inconsistent.
The Kings are a team we can target here in a great matchup vs a terrible Knicks defense with a 111 defensive efficiency on the season. De’Aron Fox, Buddy Hield and Willie Caulley Stein are all elite plays here tonight. Bogdan Bogdanovic and Harrison Barnes are solid plays as well and Harry Giles is a great value play now with Marvin Bagley out.
💥💥💥 5 star play – Mitchell Robinson (if Jordan is out), De’Aron Fox, Buddy Hield, Willie Caulley Stein
💥💥 4 star play – Dennis Smith Jr, Bogdan Bogdanovic, Harrison Barnes
💥 Value – Damyean Dotson, Harry Giles
Los Angeles Clippers – 117 at Los Angeles Lakers – 121
Vegas LAL -4.0
Total 238
The hammer game tonight is the Battle for LA between the Clippers and the Lakers. The game has the highest total on the slate at 235 and the Lakers are somehow 4 point favorites. On the Clippers side of the ball, I’ll be targeting Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Patrick Beverly and Danilo Gallinari. All 4 of these guys have been averaging over 30 fantasy points per game over their last 5 games and you know they’re going to be fired up for a game against LeBron and the Lakers. Other players I like on the Clippers are Landry Shamet and Shai Gilgeous Alexander. Both guards are scoring around 25 points per game over their last 2 games. This is a solid matchup here vs the Lakers without Lonzo Ball on the court they are much worse Defensively vs Guards. One of my favorite plays of the slate is a revenge matchup for Ivica Zubac vs his former team. Zubac has been consistent since joining the Clippers and he’s been playing a little over 20 minutes per game while averaging 24.2 fantasy points per game. Doc may give him a few extra minutes just to give him a chance to pay back his former team! Fire him up for some sweet revenge tonight.
On the Lakers side of the ball there are really only 4 guys that I’ll be targeting. LeBron James, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma and Rajon Rondo. Despite the Lakers losing 5 of thier last 7 games, LeBron James has been on a tear. He has not scored fewer than 53 fantasy points in any game during this stretch. He’s in line for another 50-60 point fantasy game here tonight vs a Clippers team who is not great defensively. Brandon Ingram has been hot as well, scoring 40.1 fantasy points per game over his last 5 games. His price has climbed t0 $8,000 now on Fanduel so he’s not a super value play but he’s been very solid recently. Kuzma and Rondo round out my interest in the Lakers as they will both play 30 minutes or more in this one. Every game is a virtual must-win game for the Lakers at this point as their playoff lives are hanging by a thread. I expect a good showing from them tonight.
💥💥💥 5 star play – LeBron James, Lou Williams, Montrezl Harrell, Brandon Ingram
💥💥 4 star play – Kyle Kuzma, Rajon Rondo,
💥 Value – Ivica Zubac, Landry Shamet
