Full Court Press:
Indiana Pacers @ Milwaukee Bucks
Vegas Total: 222.0
Vegas Spread: Mil -11.0
Pace: Ind +4.6
We get this short slate started with the lower scoring of the two. The Pacers head up to Milwaukee to face the mighty Bucks. From the Pacers, they all seem to be priced about right, so we will need to attack some matchups here. The Bucks rank 20th against opposing centers on the season and Myles Turner is raking up blocks like they’re going out of style. He’s certainly in play here. I don’t want any Darren Collison tonight, as the Bucks are one of the best teams in the league against point guards due to Eric Bledsoe’s elite defense and length on the outside. I really like Bojan Bogdanovic here, the Bucks really struggle in defending the 3-point line and he is in good form. He’s scored at least 35+ fantasy points in three straight games. Thad Young is averaging just about 30 Draftkings point per game against the Bucks this season and makes for a decent option at power forward tonight.
5-star play: Myles Turner, Bojan Bogdanovic
4-star play:

From the Bucks, Pat Connaughton is jumping out in the Research Station. Connaughton has been getting good minutes lately and I don’t mind him as a deep GPP option, but he’s certainly not the safest play. Brook Lopez draws the best matchup on the team, as the Pacers rank 19th in defense against opposing centers. In three games against the Pacers this season, Lopez is averaging 26 fantasy points per game. This slate has three superstars on them, one being Giannis Antetouknmpo. Giannis is matchup proof and has averaged 58.2 Draftkings points per game in three games against the Pacers this season. Eric Bledsoe doesn’t have the greatest matchup, but he’s definitely viable in a short slate. Malcolm Brogdon is one of the safest plays on the slate, he’s scored at least 30 Draftkings points in nine of his last ten games. Nikola Mirotic is priced pretty accurately given his role, but he could be the guy that gets hot and knocks down five threes and leads you to a GPP victory on a short slate. Lastly, Khris Middleton is right there with Eric Bledsoe, not the greatest matchup, but in a short slate, he needs to be in consideration.
5-star play: Giannis Antetouknmpo, Malcolm Brogdon
4-star play: Eric Bledsoe, Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Nikola Mirotic
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Pat Connaughton
GPP Sleeper: Pat Connaughton

Oklahoma City Thunder @ Portland Trail Blazers
Vegas Total: 232.5
Vegas Spread: Por -3.5
Pace: Por +4.1
This is the game we will want to get a lot of our exposure to tonight, with it being the higher total and likely more fantasy production. From the Thunder, Paul George’s price has come way down to under $10k on Draftkings. I think he’s pretty close to a lock for me over there. He’s proven he can consistently score 50 fantasy points and is averaging 68.5 fantasy points per game in three matchups with the Trail Blazers this season. Russell Westbrook has one of the higher floors and raw point potential on this slate which makes him intriguing. With Westbrook, you’re looking for that 70-80 point ceiling game that he’s flashed throughout the year, the key to him doing this is shooting well, which has been a struggle. Nobody on this team draws a great matchup, but Steven Adams is projected to be the best point per dollar play on the team by the Research Station. It’s not a great matchup against Jusuf Nurkic, but we need to play someone at the center spot. Dennis Schroder is out of play until his price comes back down, now that Paul George is back. Finally, Jerami Grant is in the same boat as Schroder, with George back he losses a bit of usage and shot opportunities.
5-star play: Paul George, Russell Westbrook
4-star play: Steven Adams
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: Jerami Grant, Dennis Schroder
The Trail Blazers get the biggest pace up spot on the slate, so we will look to target them here. The Research Station absolutely loves this team and has a lot of them projected as great point per dollar plays. Al-Farouq Aminu draws the best matchup, as the Thunder rank 26th in defense against opposing power forwards. His price has come down and has 30 point upside. Damian Lillard is my favorite play from this team and I like the idea of stacking him up with Paul George. He’s averaged 50.8 Draftkings points per game against the Thunder this season. Jusuf Nurkic draws a tough matchup against Steven Adams, but again, we need to play someone at center. I never really play CJ McCollum, but he’s in the same boat as Middleton and Bledsoe, where he is a fine play. Maurice Harkless has been playing very well, he’s scored at least 24 fantasy points in his last seven games and makes for a nice value play.
5-star play: Damian Lillard, Al-Farouq Aminu
4-star play: CJ McCollum, Jusuf Nurkic, Maurice Harkless
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Al-Farouq Aminu, Maurice Harkless
GPP Sleeper: None
