Charlotte Hornets @ Brooklyn Nets

We start things off with a very enticing fantasy game. How many times are we going to say that the Hornets are underpriced? In a pace up spot against a bad defensive team, most of the Hornets are too cheap on Draftkings. My favorite play from this team is Kemba Walker who is criminally priced on Draftkings. In three matchups with the Nets this season, Kemba is averaging 48.8 fantasy points per game. Centers against the Nets? Yes, please. Cody Zeller is also underpriced on Draftkings, but also playable on Fanduel. In three matchups with the Nets this season, Zeller is averaging 31.2 fantasy points per game. Jeremy Lamb and Nicolas Batum are similarly priced, of the two I would prefer Lamb. Lamb has gotten moved to the bench and has been able to handle more usage and gain fantasy production. He has scored 40+ fantasy points in back to back games. Meanwhile, Batum is getting all the minutes he can handle right now and producing well. Marvin Williams has scored 25+ fantasy points in three of his past four games and is also underpriced, he’s a fine option if you fall on him. Miles Bridges will likely get the start here and is fine as a punt value option. With that said, I’m not forcing him into any of my lineups.
5-star play: Kemba Walker, Cody Zeller, Jeremy Lamb, Nicolas Batum (Draftkings)
4-star play: Nicolas Batum (Fanduel), Marvin Williams
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Miles Bridges
GPP Sleeper: None
Matter of fact, this whole game is underpriced on Draftkings. The Nets have a few great point per dollar options as well. Starting at the top, D’Angelo Russell is in cruise control right now, scoring at least 42.25 in five of his last six games. At $8500 he is certainly in play on Draftkings, but more of a GPP play on Fanduel. DeMarre Carroll is a nice value play on both sites, he’s averaged 22.2 fantasy points per game in three matchups against the Hornets this season. Joe Harris makes for a nice mid-range option as well, he’s averaged 28 fantasy points per game in three matchups against this team this season. Finally, Jarrett Allen is in play on Draftkings, he’s gone for at least 27.5 fantasy points in four of his last five games.
5-star play: D’Angelo Russell (Draftkings)
4-star play: Jarrett Allen (Draftkings), DeMarre Carroll, Joe Harris
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: DeMarre Carroll
GPP Sleeper: D’Angelo Russell (Fanduel)

Chicago Bulls @ Atlanta Bulls
Vegas Total: 230.0
Vegas Spread: Atl -2.0
Pace: Chi +5.2
Onto what should be another fantasy-friendly game. Starting with Chicago, basically, the whole starting five is in play here given the matchup. My favorite of the five with price considered would be Otto Porter who has been destroying since joining the Bulls. If we take out the game where he left early with an injury, he has averaged 37.25 fantasy points per game as a Bull. They’ve shown that they’ll give him the minutes, and a matchup with Hawks is a cherry on top. How weird is it to see Lauri Markkanen as the most expensive center/power forward (depending on the site) on the slate? He’s certainly earned that price tag, and he’s playing 35+ minutes per night. He has 55-60 point upside at a sub $9k price tag. Zach LaVine is on a tear right now as well, scoring 40+ fantasy points in seven of his last ten games. He couldn’t ask for a better matchup tonight like I said this whole team is in a phenomenal spot. Kris Dunn and Robin Lopez are also in play, not core plays, but if you land on them I wouldn’t be upset.
5-star play: Otto Porter, Lauri Markkanen, Zach LaVine
4-star play: Kris Dunn, Robin Lopez
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Wayne Selden (Fanduel)
GPP Sleeper: None
From the Hawks, I normally don’t play a lot of them outside of Trae Young and John Collins but there are some value plays that we can target here. To be honest, Draftkings pricing seems really soft here tonight. Kevin Huerter is $3,500 on Draftkings and $4,200 on Fanduel. He will play around the 30-minute mark and should have no problem hitting value at that price tag. DeAndre Bembry is the stone minimum on Draftkings and is coming off a 43.5 fantasy point game. Trae Young is far too cheap given the matchup, he’s scored 50+ in three of his past four games and is $8,100 on Draftkings. John Collins seems to be playing better after going through a bit of a cold spell. He’s gone for 40+ in two of his past three games and is priced a little too low given the matchup.

5-star play: Trae Young, DeAndre Bembry (Draftkings), Kevin Huerter
4-star play: John Collins, Dewayne Dedmon (Fanduel)
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Kevin Huerter, DeAndre Bembry (Draftkings)
GPP Sleeper: Taurean Prince
Washington Wizards @ Boston Celtics
Vegas Total: 231.0
Vegas Spread: Bos -9.0
Pace: Bos +2.8
Starting with the Wizards, they draw a tough matchup here with the Celtics, but the game still features a pretty high total. Bradley Beal is playing 40 minutes per night nowadays and seems like his floor is 40 fantasy points. He’s a great GPP play here, given the difficult matchup. Jabari Parker is too volatile for cash games but makes for a good GPP play as well given his upside. Tomas Satoransky is probably a bit too cheap here, however, there are enough point guard options on this slate where I don’t feel the need to go there. Bobby Portis is a fine option, but not someone I’m prioritizing here.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Bradley Beal, Bobby Portis
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: Jabari Parker, Tomas Satoransky, Bradley Beal
From the Celtics, Marcus Morris is too cheap on both sites given the soft matchup. Gordon Hayward at $4,100 on Draftkings is pretty enticing, however, he’s been in bad form as of late. He has scored under 20 fantasy points in three straight games, I’ll likely avoid him here. Marcus Smart makes some sense on Draftkings at his price tag, in one matchup against the Wizards this season he scored 34.75 fantasy points. Kyrie Irving draws a great matchup and scored 54 fantasy points in this matchup earlier this season. Finally, I love attacking big men against the Wizards, making Jayson Tatum and Al Horford solid plays here.
5-star play: Kyrie Irving, Marcus Morris
4-star play: Al Horford, Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Gordon Hayward (Draftkings Flyer)
GPP Sleeper: None

Portland Trail Blazers @ Toronto Raptors
Vegas Total: 227.0
Vegas Spread: Tor -5.0
Pace: Por +0.9
Starting with Portland, he’s too expensive on Fanduel, but Maurice Harkless makes for a contrarian value play. Kevin Huerter and DeAndre Bembry are safer, but a case can be made for Harkless. There’s not a whole lot I love from this team if I’m being honest, it’s a difficult matchup and everyone is priced pretty reasonably. Jusuf Nurkic performed well against the Raptors earlier this season and put up 38.8 fantasy points, however, the Raptors didn’t have Marc Gasol at the time. Other than Damian Lillard and Jusuf Nurkic as deep GPP options, this is likely a team that I’ll be avoiding today.
5-star play: None
4-star play: None
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Maurice Harkless (Draftkings)
GPP Sleeper: Damian Lillard, Jusuf Nurkic
The Raptors are very similar to the Blazers in this spot, as there isn’t a lot that I like. This may be a game that I end up crossing off tonight. Kawhi Leonard is priced decently and scored 44 fantasy points in their last matchup. Kyle Lowry is also fairly priced, but there are other point guards I would rather play in that price range. If Marc Gasol starts, I will have some interest in him. He’s averaged 40 fantasy points per game in two games against the Blazers this season. His minutes are more solidified if he is starting rather than coming off the bench.
5-star play: None
4-star play: Marc Gasol, Kawhi Leonard, Kyle Lowry
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: None
New Orleans Pelicans @ Phoenix Suns
Vegas Total: 237.5
Vegas Spread: Pho -5.5
Pace: Pho +2.3
This spread seems a little fishy to me, the Suns being favored by almost six points against any team is a bit weird. It makes me kind of lean the way on Anthony Davis sitting this one out. But, we will operate under the assumption that he’s playing and you’ll have to keep an eye on the Breaking News page for any updates. Starting with the Pelicans, Anthony Davis is getting closer and closer to a price where I would feel comfortable playing him, he’s not quite there but I understand if you want to go there. Julius Randle draws the best matchup on the team as the Suns rank dead last in defense against opposing power forwards, he dropped 48.8 fantasy points in a matchup earlier this season. The Suns also rank 27th in defense against shooting guards, which puts Jrue Holiday in play, he was also near the 50 fantasy point marker in their previous matchup. Elfrid Payton finally seems like he is going to get 30 minutes per night, and in this matchup, I like him quite a bit. He’s capable of putting up a triple-double in any game and has scored 35+ in three straight.
5-star play: Julius Randle, Jrue Holiday (Draftkings), Elfrid Payton
4-star play: Anthony Davis
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: None
From the Suns, the Research Station loves DeAndre Ayton here and has him projected as the top point per dollar option on this team. The Pelicans rank 21st in defense against opposing centers, Ayton put up 39 fantasy points in their earlier matchup. Devin Booker seems a little too cheap given the matchup, although Jrue Holiday is a better than average defender, this was proven last time these two met and Booker was only able to muster up 28 fantasy points. Kelly Oubre has been in good form and should strive in this uptempo game. Finally, Tyler Johnson is starting to play better he has seen over 30 minutes in his last three games and is averaging 36.3 fantasy points per game in that stretch.

5-star play: DeAndre Ayton, Kelly Oubre
4-star play: Tyler Johnson, Josh Jackson
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: Devin Booker
Los Angeles Clippers @ Sacramento Kings
Vegas Total: 240.0
Vegas Spread: Sac -3.0
Pace: Lac +2.2
Starting with the Clippers, I love Patrick Beverley here. This is exactly the matchup that he can take over in on the defensive end. He has scored over 30 fantasy points in three of his past four games and is underpriced on Draftkings. Lou Williams leads this team in usage, getting the team leader in usage in the highest total on the slate for a mid-range price tag… sounds pretty good to me. Landry Shamet is a viable value play given the up paced matchup. Danilo Gallinari can be a frustrating roster, but I don’t hate it if you want to go there. Lastly, JaMychal Green is also viable for a punt option if you need a contrarian one.
5-star play: Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams
4-star play: Danilo Gallinari
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Landry Shamet, JaMychal Green
GPP Sleeper: None
We are going to get some chalk from the Kings, good chalk, but chalk nonetheless. Marvin Bagley is going to be out for a few weeks which means Willie Cauley-Stein and Harry Giles will look to pick up the slack. Cauley-Stein is simply too cheap and probably the best point per dollar play on the slate. The Clippers rank 27th in the league against opposing big men and Cauley-Stein has the ability to rack up fantasy points in a hurry. Harry Giles also needs to be considered at near minimum price on Draftkings, he’s shown to be a great point per minute guy this season scoring 1.08. Bogdan Bogdanovic is coming off a career game against the Bucks, he’s still underpriced given the matchup. Harrison Barnes finally played better in their last game, I don’t mind if you go back to him, but I’ve decided to just cross him off until he shows more consistency. De’Aaron Fox and Buddy Hield are solid plays as well in a high total game.
5-star play: Willie Cauley-Stein, De’Aaron Fox
4-star play: Bogdan Bogdanovic, Buddy Hield
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: Harry Giles
GPP Sleeper: None
Milwaukee Bucks @ Los Angeles Lakers
Vegas Total: 237.0
Vegas Spread: Mil -4.5
Pace: Mil +0.8
Starting with my Milwaukee Bucks, you’ll have to keep an eye on Giannis who had his minutes monitored due to a knee injury last game, but I’m hopeful he’s 100% here so we can see him and LeBron go at it all game. I probably won’t go near Giannis unless we hear that he’ll be 100%. Brook Lopez draws a great matchup against his old team and is priced a little too low. Lopez has scored 30+ fantasy points in three straight games and is racking up the blocks like they’re going out of style. Khris Middleton and Malcolm Brogdon are priced a tad low which makes me like them here, Brogdon is the sneakiest consistent fantasy player that nobody talks about. He has scored 30+ fantasy points in nine of his last ten games. Eric Bledsoe is coming off a massive game against the Kings, but I think I’ll let people point chase and I’ll go elsewhere tonight.
5-star play: Giannis Antetokounmpo (If we get news he’s 100%), Brook Lopez, Malcolm Brogdon
4-star play: Khris Middleton
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: Eric Bledsoe
From the Lakers, LeBron James has entered playoff mode and is going to put the team on his back from here on out. He has scored 60+ fantasy points in four of his last five games. He’s probably my favorite spend up option on this slate. If Rajon Rondo starts, he becomes an elite play on both sites. He started and played 37 minutes last game while scoring 48 fantasy points. Kyle Kuzma is priced fairly and has scored 30+ fantasy points in four straight games. You heard me talk about it last time with Bogdan Bogdanovic, but the Bucks really struggle defending the 3-point line which puts Reggie Bullock into play. Brandon Ingram is also a fine player as the last guy into your lineup.
5-star play: LeBron James, Rajon Rondo (If starting)
4-star play: Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram, Reggie Bullock
Deeper Value/FD Drop Candidate: None
GPP Sleeper: None
