DFS NBA Lineup Strategies - Blande's 6th Man - Draftkings and Fanduel Advice March 6th

Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.

Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this wonderful 10-game slate. There is enough value in starting lineups today, but for those looking for that extra low-owned value, I’ve got some options for you tonight. Let’s take a look at what the bench has to offer.

CORE PLAYS

PG – Emmanuel Mudiay ($5,300): Mudiay gets a good matchup against the Suns tonight. He is in line for 25-30 minutes tonight off the bench and with his rich history against the Suns, he is a little cheap here at 5.3k. He is a solid hybrid and GPP play.

SG – Dwayne Wade ($6,300): Wade continues to run the 2nd unit for the Heat. As long as Goran Dragic remains out, Wade continues to be an all-format play for this team. He has a solid floor and has also shown some upside as well. The matchup is also a good one for him tonight.

PF – Josh Jackson ($5,000): Josh Jackson cuts an interesting picture here tonight. The matchup against the Knicks is fantastic and he has a good history here. Warren remains out, so Jackson is in line for around 25 minutes tonight. He clearly has the upside to smash at this price, making him a nice low-owned hybrid and GPP play.

C – Mitchell Robinson ($7,300): This is only in play if DeAndre Jordan is out. The matchup is one of the best on the board for Robinson. There are two concerns here though: Whether DJ plays, and the minutes Robinson will get. All that considered, Robinson remains an excellent play here as he could crush value in just 20-25 minutes here.

GPP PLAYS

SG – Jordan Clarkson ($5,000): Clarkson is your ultimate GPP play here. He recently went for 60 FDPs against the Nets. Now while you should not expect another 60-pts outing, Clarkson has tremendous upside and at just 5k is worth consideration in GPPs.

SG – Malik Beasley ($4,200): Beasley has been steadily losing minutes with Gary Harris slowly recovering. He is playing around 20-25 MPG right now. At his price and against the Lakers, this is more than enough for him to meet and exceed value. He makes for an excellent drop-score candidate tonight.

SF – DeMarre Carroll ($4,600): With Treveon Graham likely out again, Carroll is in line to pick up a few more minutes. He is a little expensive, but he has shown upside this year and in a matchup against the Cavs, he is worth consideration as a drop-score candidate if looking for savings at the SF position.

PF – Frank Kaminsky ($3,700): Don’t look now, but Kaminsky has played over 24 minutes in his last two games and translated that into 23.9 and 24.4 FDPs. Kaminsky has tremendous upside, the issue has been minutes this season. Assuming he keeps getting 20+ minutes, he is the ultimate drop-score candidate on FD tonight.

Those are your Sixth men for today. Good luck out there today Army!
