Hi there! I’m Glen but I go by Blande and you can find me on twitter as @DfsBlande. I’m a contributor and coach over here at the DFS Army.
Welcome to another edition of 6th Men on this six-game slate. Remember today is a Sunday so weird things are bound to happen. Play light and preferably focus on just GPPs here. With that said, let’s take a look at some of the top plays off the bench tonight.
MAIN SLATE 6TH MEN
PG – Emmanuel Mudiay ($4,800): Mudiay has been a Fizzdalized since returning from injury. His minutes are all over the place. However, when he has been given minutes, he has produced well for the Knicks. At just 4,800 tonight, he makes for a nice play in a good matchup. The question is whether he gets the minutes. This relegates him to the GPP sphere.
SG – Terrence Ross ($5,200): Ross returned from his illness to a nice game against the Mavs. Today he gets a chance to put up another nice outing against the Grizzlies. His matchup is slightly better here than that for Evan Fournier, making him viable in Hybrid and GPP lineups.
SG – Allonzo Trier ($5,000): Trier is averaging 28 MPG over his last five games and has put up two good games in that span. We know Trier has upside, but his floor is also low. The matchup against the Wolves is a good one for him, making him GPP viable here tonight.
PF – Cheick Diallo ($3,900): Anthony Davis and Jahlil Okafor are both questionable here, and Jrue Holiday and E’Twaun Moore are both out already. There is significant potential here for Cheick Diallo to pick up minutes tonight. He played 23 minutes last game and could be in line for something similar here. That will be enough for him to crush value given his price. He is an excellent all-format pick with Davis and Okafor are out. He is a GPP play if only one of them is out.
PF – Ivan Rabb ($3,600): Rabb is slowly working himself back into form since returning from injury. His minutes are a little limited at the moment at around 18-23 minutes. This, however, is enough for him to hit and exceed value in this matchup and at his price. He makes for a nice drop-score candidate here tonight.
These are your 6th Men of the day. Good luck out there Army!
