DFS Madness's Strategy for Winning NBA Tiers Lineups for Draftkings - Mar. 31st, 2019

Welcome to the DFS Army Draftkings Tiers breakdown! The Tiers breakdown will consist of a breakdown of all six tiers on Draftkings and why you should or shouldn’t play some of these guys! My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the article and just because I like to think I’m a great Twitter follow (high hopes). But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Tier One:

Draftkings has begun preparing for late scratches and mid-day downgrades by adding more players to tier one. It looks a bit loaded but we can handle it! The Domination Station likes Bradley Beal as the only 50 point scorer here. However, he draws a tough matchup with a DvP% of only 77.1%. Kevin Durant draws the best matchup in the tier, as the Hornets rank 23rd in defense against opposing small forwards. Both him and Curry were around the 40 point fantasy mark in their one matchup with the Hornets this season. I don’t have a strong preference between the two, so try and even out exposure if you want a part of the Warriors. My favorite play here is probably Nikola Jokic, the Wizards are far too small to be able to guard him. The only issue that may come up is a potential blowout, Jokic would be one of the first to hit the bench in that scenario.

Tier Two:

The Domination Station likes Mike Conley the most from tier two. Patrick Beverley plays tough on-ball defense, but Conley is averaging 44.6 Draftkings points per game against him already this season, he’s in a good spot here. Jonas Valanciunas draws the best matchup in this tier, as the Clippers rank 28th in defense against opposing centers. He is playing at an unreal level right now and a case is made for him to be the top play here. The Kings rank 25th against opposing power forwards, which puts Aldridge firmly in play. Aldridge is averaging 40 Draftkings points per game against the Kings this season. DeMar DeRozan is just under that mark on a per game basis but makes for a nice GPP play. I’ve been targeting point guards against the Spurs all season, you can bet I like De’Aaron Fox here. He’s averaging 40 Draftkings points per game against them on the season.

The NBA Research Stationis my #1 source for research every single day and is one of the VIP Only tools our members have access to daily. The info in the NBA ReSearch Station includes today’s 📊 DFS Army Projection, Adjusted DVP matchups and much more. This tool will cut your daily research time in half. If you’re familiar with CeeGee and Ben you already know the time they’ve put into the “Sheets” and are extremely happy to provide them as apart of your DFS Army VIP Membership this year.

Tier Three:

Danilo Gallinari has been ruled out for tonight’s game, making this a four-person tier. Lou Williams draws the best matchup of the bunch and will see an increase in usage with Gallinari off the court. The Grizzlies rank dead last against opposing shooting guards on the season, making Sweet Lou a great play here. Charlotte ranks 26th in defense against opposing centers which puts DeMarcus Cousins firmly in play. I think I will be fading Thomas Bryant here, Nikola Jokic is tough on defense and I don’t want to bet on the rotations of the Wizards should this game blowout. Finally, Buddy Hield is a GPP play for me, as he always has 50 point upside.

Tier Four:

Klay Thompson is projected for the best game from a fantasy standpoint in the Domination Station. I certainly like him given the matchup, and he provides a good amount of safety as well. The Wizards rank 24th in defense against opposing power forwards on the season, putting Paul Millsap in play. I would reserve him for GPP, however, due to the uncertainty of this game. Marvin Bagley is currently listed as questionable, so keep an eye on our Breaking News Feed for news on him closer to lock. If he plays, I like him, he has averaged 35 Draftkings points per game against the Spurs this season. Montrezl Harrell is looking like a decent play here as well, he is averaging 30 Draftkings points per game against Memphis this season and may see a few more minutes with Gallinari ruled out. Jamal Murray and Bobby Portis are GPP plays only for me, I’m really not too high on that game in general.

Tier Five:

This is a bit of a loaded tier, but Jabari Parker grades as the best in the Domination Station. He has been right around the 30-minute mark lately and is averaging 1.03 fantasy points per minute on the season. Delon Wright continues to put up numbers even with Mike Conley healthy, he makes for a solid option in a strong matchup. The same can be said for Gilgeous-Alexander, even with Beverley healthy he has been getting good run. Jeremy Lamb scored 42 Draftkings points on the Warriors earlier this season, and they will need his scoring as the fight for that last playoff spot in the East. Rudy Gay, Draymond Green, Tomas Satoransky and Willie Cauley-Stein are all GPP plays for me here tonight.

Tier Six:

Bruno Caboclo has gone for 45+ Draftkings points in two of his last three games and is getting good run to round up the season, he is a solid play here. Will Barton draws the best matchup, as the Wizards rank 22nd in defense against opposing shooting guards, however, the minutes are all over the place with him. The Domination Station likes Bogdan Bogdanovic the most here, but he has struggled in two matchups with the Spurs already this season. Bryn Forbes and Justin Holiday are low upside guys but could make some sense as safety plays. Finally, Harrison Barnes, Miles Bridges, and Dwayne Bacon are all GPP plays for me here.
