DFS Madness's NBA Draftkings Core 4 - Mar. 7th, 2019

Welcome to the Core 4! My name is Michael aka @MadnessDFS on Twitter, make sure to give me a follow as I’ll occasionally make updates to the article throughout the day as news breaks. But, you’ll mostly find me in our VIP coaching forums where I provide detailed lineup maneuvers and answer all lineup questions. With that said, let’s get it started!

Purpose of the Core 4: These four players are guys that I want to lock into my cash game lineups and if doing multi-entry, using the Domination Station lock them in or set high exposure percentages to them. These are players that I see as underpriced, in great matchups, in play because of injuries, increased usage, etc. I also need to mention that these plays are normally geared toward Draftkings pricing and scoring, I’m not a huge fan of NBA for Fanduel, so if you see my list has three small forwards or two centers, etc. it’s because of the multi-position eligibility on Draftkings. With that said, let’s jump right into it!

Paul George – $9,700

The Oklahoma City Thunder are traveling to Portland to play the Blazers tonight in the higher projected total of the two games. Paul George’s price has come way down on Draftkings, he was up near $11k before his injury. He has consistently proven that he can put of 50 Draftkings points with ease this season. In three matchups against the Trail Blazers this season, he is averaging an insane 68.5 Draftkings points per game. He owns a 29.6% usage rate and an elite 1.4 fantasy points per minute. Go ahead and get yourself some Paul George tonight.

Damian Lillard – $8,100

Much like Paul George, Lillard’s price has come way down and his in the higher total game on the slate. I love the idea of stacking George and Lillard and hoping they duel it out. The Research Station has Lillard projected to 5.6x his price tag tonight. In three games against the Thunder this season, Lillard is averaging 50.8 Draftkings points per game. Dame leads this team in usage at 29.6% and owns an elite 1.26 fantasy points per minute. Get yourself some Damian Lillard tonight and don’t look back.

Al-Farouq Aminu – $3,900

We are going to keep attacking that OKC and Portland game here. Al-Farouq Aminu has plummeted to under $4k and makes for a great value play to fit in Lillard and George. The Research Station has Aminu being the best point per dollar play on the slate and is projecting him to 6.1x his current price tag. He’s proven that he has 35-40 point upside and has a legit 10x ceiling. In three games against the Thunder, this season Aminu is averaging 31.8 Draftkings points per game. There is very little downside to this play, go ahead and load up on Aminu.

Malcolm Brogdon – $5,600

On short slates sometimes you don’t need to aim for the home run ball, raw points will often time cut it. That’s exactly what Malcolm Brogdon brings to the table. Brogdon is a walking 30 point fantasy guy, he’s reached that point in nine of his last ten games. In three games against the Thunder this season he is averaging 27 Draftkings points per game which would be right around 5x at his current price tag. You don’t always need to get cute on short slates, and Brogdon gives you a very safe floor to go along with the three guys from the other game.

As always I appreciate everyone who gave the game break a read! Feel free to mix it up with me in our coaching forums as news breaks and lock approaches. If you don’t know about them, our two newest pages contain Breaking News and our exclusive Coaches’ Picks……both invaluable for late-breaking news and pivots in NBA.
