I’m Aaron/AFriedman15 (@AFriedman15DFS) and this is Friedman’s DK Tiers, where I will break down the DraftKings Tiers slate using information from the DFS Army NBA Research Station (RS), DFS Army Domination Station (DS), and other sources. I will generally try to write Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Weekends, but I may have some spare time on other days as well.

Tier 1:
With KAT questionable, this becomes a two-person tier for me between RWB and PG-13. George has been dynamite versus Utah, and he has average 61.2 DKFPPG in his last three games versus Utah. PG-13 has been outstanding all season, and a prime example of his excellence has been the transition three-pointer. This shot has hurt Utah all year. If building one lineup, Paul George is my favorite play, though I do want some exposure to Westbrook who is the top overall projected scorer in the Domination Station and the DFS Army Sim Model. Between the two, you can’t go wrong here, but I am leading George, even without the salary considerations in Tiers.
Tier 2 :
At first look, I wanted all the Jokic, and he is probably still my SE/Cash play, here , but its become a more and more interesting tier as the day progresses. Vucevic draws a fantastic matchup against the Bulls, Kemba faces off against a Wizards team who is terrible defensively against point guards, and Kawhi goes against his former club in Toronto. Kawhi did not do well in the matchup in San Antonio, so we’ll have to see what happens tonight. He is 4th on the DS (above), and the DS is probably my order of preference in this tier.
Tier 3:
I’ll probably take a stand here and be all in on Drummond, Griffin, or Beal, in that order. I love this spot here for both Drummond and Griffin (hard not to vs. Atlanta) and they are both core plays for me on DK Classic. Blake gets more touches and obviously has the shooting advantage over Drummond, but Trae Young and the Hawks drive to the basket a lot, so there is a tremendous block and rebound potential.
Tier 4:
In a departure from the DS, my two favorite plays here are Lauri Markkanen and Mike Conley. Lauri is expensive on DK Classic, but I really like grabbing him here to get some exposure because the only downside here is his price. Otherwise, he has a ton of upside. Likewise, Conley is one of my favorite GPP plays. This is a great pace-up spot for Memphis and Conley could crush tonight.
Tier 5:
I’m mostly eating the DeRozan chalk in Tier 5, but I like seeing the DS confirm Kyle Lowry as a top pivot here. As Madness DFS mentions in his outstanding GameBreak piece (link below), the Spurs are 29th in defense against opposing point guards. Beyond Lowry and DeRozan, I do not see a need to get cute here.

Tier 6:
Aaron Gordon is my clear favorite play here. In the three previous games vs. Chicago this year, Gordon has averaged 13.3 ppg, 8 rpg, 6.7 apg for 35 DKFPPG. Pending the news of Karl-Anthony Towns, Wiggins could also be somewhat interested. I could be up to 30% Wiggins and the rest would be Gordon.

Those are your DK Tiers! Some are going to be commonplace, and some won’t. These are players my research led me to and some will contain risk.
